Conclusion of Elbaf! Mr. 3's Failed Plan
Little Garden
After hearing the volcano erupts three times, Dorry is about to get ready to fight against Brogy, but he's still not recovering from the fight against him. Apparently, they know the Baroque Works agents are waiting for the two Giant Vikings fight and having Dorry heavily wounded, but thanks to Ventus, the Blue Ogre is still intact and Mr. 3's plan is foiled. Though, Mr. 3 thought his plan is working in the process which they're going up to phase 2, wait for one of the Giant Vikings win the duel.
Anna, Shanise, and Ivan manage to get something out of the jungle: vines, sticks, and leaves to make some traps for the Baroque Works agents. Vivi and Luffy are confused as one of them spoke.
"Um...What are those for?" Vivi asks curiously.
"We're using them to make some traps." Anna explains. "Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day probably got a head-start after Mr. 3 explains his next plan."
"And we need to be ready for them in case if they come here." Ivan added seriously. "Which time isn't on our side and they're gonna be here any minute now."
Vivi and Luffy understands what they're saying along with Dorry which he can tell these five have encountered the two Baroque Works agents before. Even though, they filled the Blue Ogre in about them and encountered them back in Whiskey Peak. He's impressed that Ventus, Anna, and Zoro have beaten the low-ranked Baroque Works agents, Igaram, Shanise, and Vivi, much to her embarrassment. However, what he's mostly impressed is the young Dragoon have beaten the two Baroque Works agents with a little help from Anna which she's able to outsmart them with her traps and her marksmanship.
Normally, rangers are deadly to marksmanship with a bow, setting up traps, tracking their enemies, and they can read the winds. Anna is no different because she learned from her aunt ever since her childhood.
"I better get going, don't want to be late for fighting against my rival." Dorry told them. "I'm maybe injured, but I cannot allow myself to run away from this fight. To do so would be like running from the title of a warrior. And if I was no longer a warrior from Elbaf, then I would no longer know who I am. I'm gonna buy you time to find this Mr. 3 and Ms. Goldenweek, but just long enough until you dealt with the other two."
"Do you think they're coming here?" Luffy questions.
"It's possible. This is the Little Garden we're talking about. It's like a jungle, it can happen anywhere." Anna points out.
"Also, there are dangerous creatures that you recklessly encountered not too ago, remember?" Shanise rhetorically questions with annoyance.
"I don't remember." Luffy said innocently, making them sweat drop.
"GEGYAGYAGYAGYAGYAGYAGYAGYAGYAGYA! It matters not, but what matters is I'm still here and well. These Baroque Works may not know that, but they'll know soon enough." Dorry told them. "The duel may have been interfered, but it's been foiled thanks to your friend. Now, I'm off to fight Brogy."
With that, Dorry head towards the jungle area to fight against Brogy, leaving Anna, Vivi, Luffy, Shanise, and Ivan alone in the Blue Ogre's campsite as they begin working on making traps in the different area since the Baroque Works agents are making their move.
Meanwhile at Brogy's campsite, Brogy is about to get ready to fight against Dorry as he stood up and spoke.
"Alright then." Brogy said with a determined smirk.
"Now, Master Brogy, go and show this guy!" Usopp cheered him with a smile.
"GABABABABABABABABABABABABABABABA! You bet, Usopp, I'm gonna beat him for sure this time. He hasn't got a chance." Brogy declared, placed his axe on his shoulder.
"Go get'em, you great warrior of Elbaf! The might Brogy always defeats his opponent!" Usopp cheered as Brogy walk past the two. "You can do it, Brogy! You're the mightiest warrior in the-AUGH!?"
"Will you knock it off! You're shouting is annoying!" Ventus shouts with annoyance when he bonked his head.
"Sorry." Usopp apologizes to the young Dragoon.
"Why does they continue this pointless fight?" Nami asks, watching Brogy left.
"HOW CAN YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THIS IS POINTLESS?! BROGY IS THE BRAVE WARRIOR, JUST I'M GONNA BE SOMEDAY! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY ANYTHING, YOU IDOIT!" Usopp yelled at the navigator with white eyes and shark-like teeth, stomping the ground repeatedly. "IF YOU WANNA THROW ONE-"
"Well now we can think about getting back to the ship." Nami said, leaving Ventus and Usopp confused as she looks at the Log Pose. "Waiting for a year, there's no freaking way, it's completely unacceptable. We need to get everyone back on the ship and come up with the plan."
"Now hold on a second!" Usopp shouts, earned their attention when they see him in a serious expression. "I for one don't think we stand a chance in the fight against dinosaurs. Cutting through the jungle in order to get back to the Merry won't do us much good if we get killed on the way, will it?!"
"What happen to all the brave warrior of the seas stuff you've been going on about?" Nami questions in confusion, shrugs her shoulders.
"I said that someday I would be a brave warrior of the sea." Usopp corrected her with a smirk. "Besides, even a brave warrior has to have enough sense not to get himself killed."
'We don't have a choice here, Luffy's group is over at the other giant's place. We should probably head that way first." Nami thought.
"And you know he's right." Ventus added, earned her attention. "Should I to remind you the Baroque Works agents on making their move towards our crew along with Dorry and Brogy?"
That got Nami's mouth agape, forgotten about the Baroque Works since she's too busy come up with an idea of getting out of the island.
"Besides, if we get back to the Going Merry, the Baroque Works will be hunting us." Ventus continues.
"You know, he has a point." Usopp agrees. "The Baroque Works are still after us since we already know what they're up to."
'Well, I can't argue with that. Guess getting back to the Merry is out, we'll have to deal with the Baroque Works first before we go anywhere.' Nami mentally thought, pondering over since heading back to the Going Merry is out. They need to deal with the Baroque Works agents before going back to the Going Merry and leaving the island.
"Even if I should lose everything someday, and I must face a horribly tragic death, alone on the deserted island. I will probably say this about how I have lived. I am Captain Usopp, and know that I have been a great warrior of sea." Usopp proclaimed, but his body collapses down to the ground.
Ventus couldn't help but sigh with annoyance because of Usopp's antics. He turned to Nami as he spoke.
"I'll watch the fight and keep an eye on the scene in case if any of the Baroque Works interfere the fight." Ventus said.
"Alright, be careful and don't get caught by those giants." Nami nods while warn the young Dragoon. She then turned to Usopp. "I'll take Usopp to the other giants campsite."
Ventus give her a nod as he sprouts his dragon wings, taking flight towards the fight since it's about to begin. Nami then grabbed Usopp's satchel and spoke.
"For now, do you think you can just try be dependable warrior?" Nami inquires, dragging Usopp towards the jungle.
"Right, let's go." Usopp groaned.
Ventus flew up towards the fight scene, seeing Dorry and Brogy are about to get ready which the two Giant Vikings may not like the plan, but the Baroque Works are about to make their move because of Mr. 3 which they're gonna have to make it work.
"GABABABABABABA! Dorry, how is your drink? Hit the spot, didn't it?" Brogy asks.
"Yes, it tasted almost godly." Dorry replied with a smirk, leaving Brogy laughing.
"Well, I'm glad that you enjoyed it." Brogy said. "Let's go!"
With that, Brogy and Dorry begin clashing against each other while Ventus watches them below, seeing the two parrying and countered each others attack which he can tell these two are battle experienced and they're done it over a century. Even though, he has the dragon trait within him which like giants, dragons can outlive a human, but since he's a half-dragon, he can outlive a human.
'Seems both Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day are heading this way. So, Mr. 3, what's your next move?' Ventus mentally questions, using his dragon hear to hear the footsteps of Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day.
Meanwhile on Dorry's campsite, Anna, Shanise, and Ivan have finished laying traps in the jungle area and close to campsite. The two revealed themselves when they got out of the jungle, but notice Anna is missing.
"Hey, where's Anna?" Luffy asks.
"She went on heading, scouting the jungle." Shanise told him. "Knowing her, she's probably found something."
"Do you think she's going to be alright on her own?" Vivi asks with worry.
"Vivi, Anna can handle herself." Shanise assures her. "Plus, with her on our side, we might have the advantage of winning."
"And what makes you say that?" Vivi questions.
"You see, instead of going after them without a plan, we can outsmart them by using our heads." Ivan explains with a smirk. "And if they ever come here, it's over for them, baby."
'They're determined to fight against the Baroque Works. Even Luffy to fight them, but with that look, he sure doesn't seem much like a harden criminal with a bounty on his head.' Vivi thought, looking at Luffy which he's determined to fight them, but realize that Karoo isn't here. "Hey guys, Karoo's missing."
"WHAT?!" Shanise and Iven shouts in unison.
Apparently, Karoo have run off from the campsite and towards the jungle which the duck has been running for a few minutes. The duck is worn out from all of that running as he stops, panting heavily as he then takes a drink.
"Hey, isn't this ugly bird that the Princess is always hanging around with?" The voice of Ms. Valentines Day asks her partner, causing Karoo to spit out his drink when he heard her.
"Yeah." Mr. 5 replies.
Karoo then slowly turned his head around with his face pale, seeing Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day behind him where she sits on a rock while her partner stands right next to her. Karoo then quacked with panic as he slowly took a few steps.
"Don't leave." Mr. 5 told the duck, causing him to quack with fright. "Well now, we're happy we ran into you. In fact, there's a little something we like to ask you to do something."
"I couldn't say the same to the both of you." The voice of Anna said as she cuts the vine, causing the snarl to catch both Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day as they were flung into the trees face-first. She then landed down to the ground with a smirk on her face. "Seems like you caught into my trap."
Meanwhile, Zoro grunts while dragging the dead dinosaur since he caught it a bit late because the time limit of finding the meat and the one, he manages to catch doesn't count.
"This isn't good, I'm lost." Zoro muttered with a scowl, scratching the back of his head while looking at the tree. "This tree looks familiar, but it's kinda hard to tell in this place. I think I was supposed to take a left at the tree wrapped in vines."
Zoro then notice Nami leaned against the tree as he spoke.
"Oh hey, Nami, it's you. Seems like I'm lost. Looks like you've got a pretty good timing, I'm not sure what I was gonna do." Zoro told her with a chuckle, glad to see the navigator as he approaches her. "So, what are you doing in this area anyway, huh?"
He then notice something's off about Nami which he only got the silent respond.
"Uh, Nami?" Zoro said in confusion, but little did he know Mr. 3 and Ms. Goldenweek are watching while hiding.
Meanwhile, Usopp and Nami got lost in the middle of the jungle and saw another as the liar screamed with fear as they ran off.
"Crap! It's Another Dinosaur!" Nami yelled with panic.
"Get away! Get away! Get away! Get away! Get away! Get away! Get away!" Usopp repeated the words with panic and teary eyes as he runs faster and faster until he disappeared from Nami.
"USOPP! WAIT UP!" Nami yelled with white eyes and shark-like teeth, stopped as she panted heavily. She turned left, notice Luffy waved at him. "Luffy!"
She then walk towards him.
"Boy, is it a relief to see you. So, what are you doing here anyway?" Nami asks with a smile, but only got a silent respond.
Mr. 3 then uses his Devil Fruit power to throw a wax at Nami, caught the navigator as she screamed. Usopp stopped when he heard a scream, quickly turned his shoulder when he notices Nami isn't with him because he's too fast and the navigator wasn't able to catch up.
"Um, Nami?" Usopp called her name, looking around the jungle to find Nami but she's nowhere to be found and he ran too far in the jungle which he's now lost, causing his legs to tremble. "Nami? Nami? Nami!? Nami!? Where did you go? LUFFY!?"
With that, Usopp then run around in the jungle to find Luffy and the others. Little did he know, Ventus heard his scream which he's laughing his butt off while holding his sides.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh God...Usopp...This is too funny..." Ventus said, laughing. "He's killing me..."
It took him a few minutes to calm down which he had his laugh but notice Nami is held captive by Mr. 3.
"So, that's his plan? Taking us down one-by-one while hiding in the jungle." Ventus muttered seriously.
While back in the jungle, Usopp continues to run really fast while trying to find Luffy and the others, but he's too busy screaming with panic while running around in the jungle frantically. He then leaps out of the jungle, but crashed in between the two boulders as he lands on the ground with a grunt and a broken nose. He recovers quickly as he stood up, rushing towards them and spoke.
"I have terrible news! A dinosaur ate Nami!?" Usopp exclaimed frantically, causing Luffy to panic.
"What?! No Way!" Luffy exclaimed with his eyes widen with dread.
"We were running through the jungle to get away from the dinosaur and then suddenly, I'd turn around and she was gone and must've gotten her!?" Usopp explains, shook his head with teary eyes. "I've got my friend killed! How could I live with myself now?!"
Shanise and Ivan couldn't help but sigh with annoyance, had a feeling that Usopp ran really fast and leaving Nami behind.
"Hey, you guys." Vivi called them, but the two are too busy panicking. "Calm down. Just listen to me for a second, will you?!"
That got their attention as she continues.
"If she was there one moment then gone the next, then you can't know for sure what happened." Vivi points out.
"Well, no! It's not like I can stop and check!?" Usopp exclaimed frantically. "I would've been eaten, too! It was either a dinosaur or some other wild beast?! What else could it possibly be?!"
"The Baroque Works, remember?" Shanise answered, leaving Usopp and Luffy confused. "Like Ventus said, those agents have been following us from Whiskey Peak."
"And it would make sense for them to capture Nami and not you." Vivi added. "Ventus is right about it, and they've already made their move."
"You mean the Baroque Works is here on the island with us?" Usopp questions but realize what the two are telling him. "Hmm, wait, but why capture Nami and not me?"
"Because you haven't gotten in the way, mostly you weren't on the assassination list." Ivan explains.
"Oh, okay." Usopp said, understands what he means.
"Now that I think about it, I bet that the booby-trapped alcohol was meant to get us instead." Vivi stated, figured it out.
"What do you mean about the alcohol? Ventus have already told us about it." Usopp points out.
"He did and we already knows that the barrels are tampered with, because when Ventus spews fire at the barrel, they exploded." Vivi explains.
"Well yeah because of some guy named Mr. 5 who ate the Devil Fruit that can make anything explode." Usopp said. "We were lucky that Ventus is on our side and not the other way around. He's able to find out what the Baroque Works are up to."
"Yeah, he's carrying the leftover exploding barrels in his pouch." Luffy nods. "Ventus is watching them fight in the sky while trying to find the Baroque Works."
They can hear Dorry and Brogy clashing their weapons against each other, still fighting and it's been going on for a few minutes.
"But what does he need those barrels of alcohol for?" Usopp inquires in confusion.
"He's gonna try to sniff the Baroque Works out and use those against them." Shanise explains.
"Oh, okay." Usopp said, understands what Ventus is planning. "But wait, where's Anna? Isn't she with him?"
"She went on ahead in the jungle, probably either looking for Karoo or the Baroque Works." Shanise guessed. "Look, I know Anna longer than you guys. She's one of the best hunters I've ever met. If she can track animals, then she can track the Baroque Works and Karoo."
They know that Anna can find Karoo with her tracking expertise, but it could lead into trouble if she encountered the Baroque Works agents. However, Luffy and Usopp knew that Anna can fight since they've seen her fight a while back and she's battle experienced.
"Also, we have been busy laying traps in the jungle." Ivan added, earned their attention. "Well, it's not like we can go unprepared."
Meanwhile, Brogy and Dorry are still clashing against each other, parrying and countering each others attack. Ventus takes a whiff, smelling something that smells like tea which he probably guessed that its Mr. 3 and Ms. Goldenweek.
'There they are. Seems like they're waiting for one of them to win the duel. If what the three told me are right, then Mr. 3 may interfere the fight.' Ventus mentally thought as he brings out the explosive barrel of alcohol out of the dimension gallery pouch. 'I've got something what's in store for that walking candle stick.'
Ventus then followed the scent to find Mr. 3 and Ms. Goldenweek without getting caught by the two Giant Vikings.
While at the battle scene, Mr. 3 and Ms. Goldenweek are hiding in the bushes while drinking tea and eating rice crackers.
"Well, he keeps fighting." Ms. Goldenweek points out, eating her rice cracker.
"Hmm, he certainly is stubborn. That Dorry, the Blue Ogre." Mr. 3 stated, chuckled. "Yes, well I should lend some assistance."
Unfortunately, Mr. 3 won't be able to interfere this fight when the barrel of alcohol fall towards the two Baroque Works agents, exploding them which it's loud enough for Dorry and Brogy to stop the fight.
"It sounds like our dragon friend have found them." Dorry stated, smirking. "And that plan actually worked."
"Yes, and I believe this fight is on hold for the moment." Brogy agreed.
Ventus took flight, grabbing Mr. 3 and Ms. Goldenweek, who are a complete mess due to the exploding barrel of alcohol. He then drops them to the ground while lands.
"If it isn't Mr. 3 and Ms. Goldenweek." Ventus said, smirked while revealed his dragon teeth. "Seems like I've managed to outsmart the brains of the Baroque Works."
"How did you know we were hiding here?" Mr. 3 demands.
"Simple, I took a whiff of that fresh hot tea you've been savoring. Not much into Earl Grey tea-set by the way." Ventus explains. "Also, we already knew of your plans because of a certain former Baroque Works agents who told us about it."
Mr. 3 growled, figured that it must've been Vivi who told them about the organization and the plan. He then smirked and spoke.
"Well, since you've already figured it out, you and those gargantuan clods have caught in my art works." Mr. 3 proclaims.
They then look down at their feet, notice the wax have caught them which Mr. 3 stalled enough time to trap them.
"What?! What have you done to us?!" Brogy demands, struggling to get out but the wax is too strong.
Ventus starts spewing fire at the wax from his feet, melting them in the process. Mr. 3 widen his eyes with shock, seeing Ventus melted the wax with his fire as he then helps Brogy and Dorry free from the wax by spewed fire.
"You know for a walking candle stick who is self-proclaimed artist, you've got poor taste." Ventus mocks with a smirk, causing Mr. 3 to growl.
Ms. Goldenweek is still eating her rice cracker, not helping her partner which Mr. 3 is gonna have trouble fighting against the young Dragoon.
While back at Dorry's campsite, Luffy and the others are waiting for Anna to get here which the ranger and Karoo revealed themselves out of the jungle.
"Anna." Vivi called with a smile.
"They're coming, get ready!" Anna warned them as she got off Karoo. "The snare trap won't hold them for long."
"Right." Usopp nods, tried to put a brave face but his legs trembled otherwise. "Let the Baroque Works try and come here. I'm gonna take care of them myself."
"If you're really gonna fight, then why is your legs shaking?" Shanise asks with a smirk.
"Hey, my legs aren't shaking!" Usopp shouts.
"You're not going anywhere!" The voice of Mr. 5 shouts, earned their attention when they saw him and Ms. Valentines Day in front of them. "Don't think we're gonna let you get away with this."
Of course, both Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day are angry because of the traps that's been around in the jungle and the two Baroque Works agents have fell for them. Also, they're a bit messy because of the traps.
"That bitch is fixing to be dead once we're done with her!" Mr. 5 snarled.
"That so? You have to catch me first." Anna mocks with a smirk.
"Who are these guys?" Usopp asks in confusion.
"Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day. Tha same two Baroque Works agents from Whiskey Peak." Ivan explains, readied his baseball bats.
"Looks like you two have found us, but with all of those traps, you manage to fall for them." Shanise told them.
"So, it was you who lay those traps on us!?" Ms. Valentines Day exclaims.
"That's right, we've got some help from a certain ranger." Ivan stated proudly. "And we already know what Mr. 3 is up to."
"Yeah, Ventus was able to sniff you guys out in the jungle." Luffy shouts with a serious glare. "His plans have failed and he's already fighting them."
Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day scowled at them but smirked since they have some other ideas.
"His plan may have failed, but we have other plans." Mr. 5 told them. "You see, we're here to get our hands on that little straw-hat friend of yours, you see. The plan was simple, we wanted to lure you both into the jungle by having your dear birdy here squawk pitifully for help, but thanks to your ranger friend, our plan has gone up and smoke. We left with no other options but to chase after them, but we've falling every trap that you guys have been laying on us."
"And we can't believe that you two were so dumb, you fell for it everytime." Ivan mocks with a smirk, causing Luffy to burst with laughter and the two Baroque Works agents growled with anger.
"And weren't you the ones who planted a bomb to try and injure Dorry?!" Usopp demands, pointing at the two.
"Yeah, that's us." Mr. 5 answered. "Who is this new guy? Is he on the list?"
"No, but he's clearly a friend of theirs." Ms. Valentines Day answered. "Let's get rid of them."
"Well, just to let you know, Dorry is still alive and well!" Usopp shouts. "Ventus have gotten your scent from those barrels and save Dorry's life."
"What?!" Mr. 5 exclaims. "Why that little-"
"Flash Arrow" Anna fires the arrow at the two Baroque Works agents, blinding them with the flash of light.
"What the?!" Mr. 5 groans.
"Exploding Star" Usopp then fires the pellet at them, exploding them. "Yeah, gotcha!"
"Wrong." Ms. Valentines Day said with a smirk, laughing while using her Devil Fruit to change her weight.
"Nose Fancy Cannon" Mr. 5 fires the snot at Usopp, but Anna drew out her sword as she sliced it in half which the snot explodes the rocks instead.
"10,000 Kilograms Press" Ms. Valentines Day was about to crash down into them, but Ivan manages to catch her with his steel chains to bind her as he drags her towards Mr. 5, knocking them out.
"Mythril Tempest" Shanise then charges after them as she twirls around her axe, slashing them as they grunts in pain.
"Decimate" Shanise then spins her body along with her axe, descend a downward cleave.
Both Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentines Day scream in pain as they crash down to the ground, knocking them out unconsciously.
"Well, that didn't take long. We may not be strong as them, but we still manage to get through." Ivan stated. "So, what now?"
"We have to go and help Ventus." Anna answered simply. "Mr. 3 might have some tricks in his sleeve."
With that, they're heading towards the jungle to go and help Ventus fight against Mr. 3 which he might have plans for the young Dragoon because he and Ms. Goldenweek have captured both Nami and Zoro. There's no telling what's happening to the two when they find out.
