Now it's time for Lincoln and Jordan to get started on their first day of their internship job at the new convenient store that opened last month for their earth. Enjoy reading folks.

Chapter 30: Intern for the better.
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln is all dressed and is packing up the folded clothes into the bag and brings it with him, along with his school bad and he heads out the door. He then goes down the stairs and he sees his mom going through some lyric sheets Sam copied for her. "You ready little dude?"
Lincoln nods. "So ready for this day, and I know Jordan is as well."
"Well, let's get going" Luna opens the door and she and her son head out of the house, but Lincoln grabs his bike and Luna opens the trunk and they place his bag and bike into the trunk, close it then head to their seats and they drive off to school.
Great Grandma Harriet wave's goodbye to them, she smiles as she knows they're going to have a wonderful time. "Now for the next phase of my plan." she goes into the room that has a new name on it "Harriet's Room, enter at your own risk." Harriet didn't seem to mind the sign, it made perfect sense to her.
She then grabs a voodoo doll that looks similar to Chandler and she dumps it into a glass of water, with the head halfway to the surface. "Good, now for my next plan." Great Grandma Harriet goes to the surveillance room and she activates the lockdown sequence of the house and the whole place gets sealed off from everything on the outside.
Harriet then phases through the wall and she goes invisible and walks to a direction, but Merris saw what just happened. 'Something tells me she's up to something. But what?'
(Hazeltucky Correctional Facility.)
Chandler panics as he feels water is reaching his throat and he struggles. The staff go to the boy and see what's wrong, they see his clothes and body are wet and his mouth has water in it. But where the heck did it come from?
(Royal Woods Elementary.)
Jordan stops at the school and she parks her bike next to the other bikes and she chains and locks it. She then spots Luna's Ferrari arrive and coming out is Lincoln and Luna.
They both go to the back of the car. Luna opens the trunk and she gets her son's mountain bike out and Lincoln grabs the bag with his uniform and name tag.
"You ready Lincoln?" Jordan goes over and she hugs Lincoln, then she looks to his face and sees the bandage was gone but there is a light bruise to his left cheek. "You feeling okay Lincoln?"
Lincoln nods. "Could be worse, thanks to mom she tended to my injury last night and the bruising and sore pain is gone, I just hope I don't get into a mental breakdown otherwise I'm headed home."
Luna lets the bike lean onto her car and she kneels to her son's level. "It's all necessary kiddo. I contacted Huggins and your boss at the internship earlier, and they said it's okay if you should miss out on one day should you suffer some kind of mental breakdown."
Lincoln nods and hugs his mom. "I'll do my best to hold my ground with whatever problems I might be having today, I really wanna do this internship thing but if it does go wrong then I'll know what to do."
Luna smiles and she kisses his forehead, they then break the hug. "Call me if anything goes wrong, and I'll be there to check up on ya. Have fun you two." Luna then gets to her car, Lincoln gets his bike and he waves goodbye as his mom drives off to her school.
Lincoln then takes his bike to the bike racks, and then Lincoln and Jordan get mobbed by their friends who all wanna know if Lincoln is doing alright. But Jordan stops them. "Okay, okay! Clear out guys, come on."
They all steer clear and just follow Lincoln and Jordan as they head into the school, but one person goes towards him. "Lincoln!" Lincoln turns around and sees Lucy racing towards him. Lincoln opens his arms and they hug each other.
"I heard about what happened to you and Luna with that kid Chandler, are you alright?"
"I'm fine Luce, just a bit rattled a little but I'll be fine" replied Lincoln, they then break the hug. "I know why you weren't there when all of that happened, you had a meeting with your friends and I understand."
Lucy looks down with some sadness on her. "I should've done something and helped you out, I'm so sorry that you and Luna had to get hurt from that jerk."
Lincoln knows she feels bad and he doesn't want anyone else to worry about him anymore, everything is fine. For now. They then head into the school, Lincoln has to escort Lucy to her classroom first.
When they all head into the school, a van rolls in and coming out are Darcy and Lisa. "Are you ready for another day of school sis?" asked Darcy.
"I am, and I am glad I am taking my time and patience with the education I am getting" replied Lisa. Deep down Lisa is a bit upset that she can't do her usual chemistry experiments in the classroom because her equipment has been removed, but she's happy that Darcy is there to help her see the brighter side to being a kindergartener.
Lisa and Darcy see some kids all chattering about the incident with Lincoln, Luna and Chandler. Darcy looks to Lisa and sees the worry on her face. "I know you're worried about Lincoln and Luna, but you're not allowed to see then anymore, try and hold it together."
Lisa sighs. "Yes, you're right. I should just look forward to whatever this day has for me." they continue to walk into the school and head to their classroom. But deep within, she really wants to see how Lincoln and Luna are doing, she wants to apologize for all that has happened, but she knows she can't.
(Royal Woods High School.)
Luna parks her Ferrari near the car of Dana and she gets out and she's greeted by teenagers cheering and clapping for her. Luna has no clue what the heck is going on and she waves at them.
She then heads into the classroom and she sees Sam and the others go towards her. "Hey guys, what the heck is going on with the peeps outside? Why am I being cheered for?"
"This!" Carol shows Luna the video of the incident Luna and Lincoln had with Chandler and how Jordan helped take him down with her dodge ball skills. "You're dubbed a hero mom for saving Lincoln and I'm sure Jordan is dubbed Dodge ball heroine as well."
Luna is shocked by the video. "Huh, how come I didn't hear of this?" She then checks her phone. "Oh, I turned off my phone, my bad."
"Luna, you are an icon in town now!" said Becky. "A lot of mom's are impressed and touched at how much you care for your son and do whatever you can to save him from some murderous kid."
"And because of this news, McCann has fled with his wife after he was removed from power at the sewage plant" replied Chaz. "They're now living in Hazeltucky so they can keep an eye on their horrible and delusional kid, don't know who runs the sewage plant now though."
I heard it was some guy who was his vice president, I think his son is a part of the Middle
School or something" said Jackie. "I think his kid is named Francisco."
"You are literally the best mom and best mom figure throughout the whole social media, and a lot of mom's out there wanna know how you do it" said Whitney.
Luna chuckles seeing this. "Well, as much fun as it is to show some other moms who I am and what I can do and what my methods are, I don't have time for that. Now if you'll excuse me, Sam and I gotta get to our song for the big Royal Rumble this Friday." Luna and Sam then walk off to the band room holding hands.
The others just watch and smile at how impressive Luna has become, from her humble beginnings of being given the mom role and beating her family for their crimes all the way to doing all in her power to save her adopted son from all forms of danger. Luna is one brave musical teen mom.
(Skip, Royal Woods Elementary School. After classes.)
All of the kids head out of the school immediately, well mostly the 6th graders. Why? The first day of their internships to their business jobs.
Lincoln and Jordan say their good byes and good lucks to their friends and they head to their bikes. Lincoln then sees Lucy leaving the school with her friends and she waves towards Lincoln and he waves back to Lucy, Lucy then heads into the van of Haiku's mom and they drive off. "So, you going to text Luna where we're off to now?" asked Jordan.
"I am." Lincoln sends his mom a text and also tells her that he's fine and he hasn't broken down into a mental mess. "Alright, let's get to the Seven-Eleven." Lincoln and Jordan get on their bikes and they ride off.
"Just recall what your mom said, if you do break down at the convenient store then you're allowed to go home, okay Linc?" asked Jordan.
"I know, I know. I just hope I don't lose myself today." replied Lincoln and they both ride off to their internship job. They're both looking forward to this one tag team project they got.
(Seven-Eleven.)
Lincoln and Jordan arrive and they park their bikes nearby the fence and they chain them, they then head to the back door and they enter, they then spot a very familiar teenage girl with brown hair tied into a ponytail. "Hey guys, glad you two could make it" said Dana Crowley.
"Good to see you too Dana, where do we change?" asked Lincoln.
"Either take the employees changing room, or use the rest rooms outside" replied Dana. "You guys can help out with half the work day we have left before the night shift guys take over around 6pm. So go ahead and get changed guys."
Lincoln and Jordan decide to use the bathroom stalls because they're both not employees. They both come out of the rest rooms in their red and black Seven-Eleven Uniforms. They look to each other with determination. "You ready for this?" asked Lincoln.
"So ready!" replied Jordan. They both head back into the store and they see their boss Adrien Santos checking on the hotdogs and the donuts in their warmer display cases.
"Hey kids, looking good. Now the first thing I want you guys to do is check on the expiration dates on the drinks in the cooler over there and once you guys are done with that, replace the ones that are expired with the ones in the back that were delivered this morning."
"Got it sir." Lincoln and Jordan get right on it. Lincoln and Jordan manage to find three boxes of milk as the only ones that are expired, they then file the report and they have them replaced with three new ones in the back.
They then head back to Adrien but then Lincoln sees something. "Hey Jordan." Jordan goes back and sees what Lincoln sees, they both spot a hole near the wall and it leads outside. "We should get the boss for this."
Minutes later Adrien and Dana see the hole. "Well, this does not look good" said Adrien.
Dana looks to the hole and she sees some marks on it. "Raccoons must've done this, and they seem desperate because I see some small dry blood marks, looks like they clawed their little paws to get through."
"Can't they get through the vents?" asked Jordan.
"Nope, the whole place has been rigged with an anti-critter system. So any animal that attempts to come in here is either sprayed, shocked or kicked out" replied Adrien. "I'm going to have to call someone to fix this and someone to deal with critter control." Adrien then heads to the back room to make the call.
"Good job you two, if it wasn't for you guys then this place would be turned into a run-down store as Flips" said Dana. "And sure as heck we do not want that here."
"No prob" said Jordan. "Though Lincoln was the one who spotted it first."
Lincoln chuckles. "I guess I learned how to look at the smallest details back when I was living with a big family, and right now it's still in good use."
"Well you did well and just so you know that I was told by Adrien that if you aren't feeling comfortable and/or you're about to break down into a mess, then you can head on home. We can always start again tomorrow little dude" said Dana.
Lincoln sighs. "Thanks for the info, but I'm good. So what do we do now?"
"Well I guess you guys can keep an eye if there's anything not arranged, or see if anyone needs some help" said Dana. "I'll be at the counter, and also there are cameras everywhere so we can keep track of whatever is happening here, so keep an eye out for trouble. Also, break time is around four for you guys and there's donuts and a snack machine in the employee's lounge at the back."
"Sure thing Dana" replied Jordan. Lincoln and Jordan head off to see if there was anything else around the place needs some fixing or cleaning, Dana smiles seeing this. Two kids who are doing their hardest to make this internship for a day work.
(Later in the day.)
For the rest of the afternoon, Lincoln and Jordan have been a great help around the place.
From helping customers in reheating their purchases, helping them look for something that their looking for, cleaning the glass windows, checking on the food they have in the back, taking their break with some donuts and sodas, restocking on merchandise, cleaning the rest rooms and of course right now they are both outside looking out for people who need a refill for their cars.
They have been keeping count of how many cars have come by for a refuel. They encountered the Yates, Mayor Davis, Rusty's dad, Carol, Coach Keck, Jordan's mom, Officer Tristen, Judge McBuild, Merris and Scoots? But the hardest ones to deal with were the McBride's Howard and Harold.
The two McBride men gave them specific instructions on the fuel they want and the proper fill up and also give them a list of the things they need. Lincoln and Jordan held their ground and made sure that they got everything on the list, though not all they need is on the list. They don't have any allergy pills for Horse Radish and Crow feathers.
Then it almost got worse when they started asking Lincoln about how he and his mom Luna were doing, they started asking if they need help with the situation they have been through and if he still has the bruise that needed some medical treatment. Thankfully their manager arrived and told the McBride's to stop harassing the interns or he will call the police. They eventually did leave.
But Lincoln couldn't shake the feeling he's being watched from the shadows, like something from beyond is keeping an eye on him, and he's been getting this feeling since he went into the school.
Right now Lincoln is reading a magazine on car parts and how to fix them, he thinks it could be useful should his mom's car need a tune up. Then a vehicle pulls in and he puts down the magazine and he readies the fuel pump. "What'll it be?"
"Bio-diesel boy, a full tank too." That voice made Lincoln tense, and he knew who it could be. He turns around and sees the round man with grey hair and a black suit and a cane. Lord Walter Tetherby, from the Limo incident. Luckily, he doesn't notice Lincoln.
Lincoln takes a deep breath and he goes over and refuels his limo. "Alright then, sir."
Lincoln avoids eye contact and tries to remain calm and not get seen. 'Stay Calm Lin, stay calm.' He looks to his watch. 'You got only an hour before the shift is over and they it'll all be done with.'
"Wait a minute, do I know you?" Lincoln doesn't respond, it seems the man noticed him. Lincoln realized it was because of his white hair. 'Dang it!'
"You!" Tetherby gets out of his limo, and looks to the boy who has his back turned. "You're that loud boy who humiliated me with mustard alongside your wretched sisters!"
Lincoln remains calm and tries not to do anything that would be dangerous or get him into trouble.
Tetherby looks to the boy sternly and then chuckles. "Looks as if someone is trying his hardest to be as simple minded as all the other peasants around this wretched town, look at what has become of you boy. Nothing more than a greasy little man who has nothing left."
Lincoln holds his ground and tries not to talk back or even start trouble, he just continues his job in filling up this old man's stupid limo.
Tetherby chuckles and tries to get Lincoln's attention. "I did read the peasant's news about the whole case against your putrid family. You have lost so much my dear boy. No pathetic and weak parents, no annoying, obnoxious and atrocious sisters and no other personal belongings or riches, all that is left is you and that wretched low-life reject, song writing loser known as your mother, my how the tables have turned."
He then pokes Lincoln's back with his cane. "You and your family humiliated me and now you are nothing more than beyond humiliation, your life is done for boy. Might as well just be rid of yourself from this world to get it all over with, there is nothing left for you and your delinquent of a mother. You two are the only blacked spots on this town that must be extinguished and it is only a matter of time before either one of you throws in the towel and calls it quits."
He then pokes Lincoln again. "Might as well do that right now you white-haired old fool of a child." Tetherby laughs and continues to poke his cane onto Lincoln.
Lincoln's hand turns into a fist and his mind is about to snap and he is about to go berserk and end this old fool. But just as he is about to tackle this man and beat the living crap out of him, a car drives by and splashes mud onto Tetherby.
"What the?! Who in the right mind?!" He then spots the fancy purple Ferrari circle the place like a vulture, or a wolf an angry mama wolf.
Lincoln sees this and smiles. 'Mom.'
"You there! Come out and pay up for what you did to me! This suit is very expensive and I demand payment for your actions!" yelled Tetherby. The Ferrari then picks up some speed and drives onto some mud nearby and it splashes all of it onto the man's limo. Lincoln manages to move out of the way as this car does its job.
Tetherby screams in horror as his beautiful white limo is now brown from the mud, and in truth most of it was not even mud. Let's just say a farmer passed by with his cows that escaped and they made a small detour there that no one knew.
"My limo!" Tetherby then covers his nose. "It smells putrid!" He then sees the car park behind his limo and near Lincoln. "Get out of there I say! Get out and face me you road raging fool!"
The door opens and he sees it was none other than Luna Loud, the government approved mother to Lincoln Loud. "Leave my kid alone you Christmas Carol reject from hell."
Tetherby is shocked by this. "You?! What is the meaning of this …. This madness?!" He then tries to remove the mud on him. "I demand you to pay for what you did to me and my limo this instant!"
"I suggest you don't sir." they spot two squad cars and coming out one of them is Officer Tristen D. Pingrey and two other cops and Officer Schoffner. "Lincoln, you okay kid?"
Luna helps her son back up and checks if he has any injuries. "Yeah, I'm fine. Nothing harmed or broken, but I was annoyed by that old fools walking stick."
Tetherby scoffs. "Arrest these two for making this mess! They do not deserve to be out on the streets with their stolen vehicle!"
"Actually, Luna Loud purchased this ride last month at the fancy car dealership by Huntington Oaks, and I think it's you who should be issued with the warning and not them" said Officer Schoffner.
"What?! I did nothing! Why am I given a warning?!" said Tetherby in shock.
"Because we got footage of what you were doing to our intern." Adrien, Dana and Jordan come out, Jordan races over to Lincoln and hugs him and he hugs her back.
"We got the footage of the whole thing and it has been on live stream the entire time." Dana points to the blinking hidden camera above the gas station and multiple other cameras by the street lamp, electric post, cellphone tower, and from the doors of the Seven-Eleven store itself. "And a lot of people had just seen what you just did to an innocent 11 year old boy who was just interning for the school project, you are in so much trouble."
Tetherby looks to all of them in shock and he slips and falls. "You can't do this to me! I am Walter Tetherby I am the richest man in Royal Woods!"
"Third Richest person in Royal Woods" replied Officer Tristen. "There are two other families in this town who have greater cash than you're one million dollars left of your money bleeding company."
They all recall that Tetherby has lost so many businesses, but what he doesn't know is why. Should I name them? A pageantry building, Alligator ranch, his company represents the Beaverton Football team, two science facilities and the building where Lynn Sr used to work when he was an IT employee.
The two cops hand him a restraining order and a warning ticket with payment. Tetherby is shocked at the cost. "Ten thousand dollars?! For what?!"
"Child harassment, the footage was seen by a lot of people including the guys who made the law and if this isn't paid by the end of the month they will come for you and possibly repo your belongings" said Officer Tristen.
Officer Schoffner smirks. "My how the tables have turned, Mayor Davis will love this. The one man hated by many in town is getting down ranked once again."
Tetherby looks to all of them in anger, but he can't do anything otherwise he'll get arrested and the cameras around the place weren't going to help him get his revenge, so he scoffs and heads back into his messed up limo and he drives off, but then a Camaro stops him. "Not so fast Tetherby!" said StoneHeart.
"What is it now?! Can't you see I must head home and rant about this town and its delirious laws!" yelled Tetherby.
"You can't drive off and not pay for the gas for your limo sir" said StoneHeart.
Tetherby growls and gets out of his limo. "Fine!" He then places a wad of nine hundred and fifty dollars onto the gas stand. "There, happy?!" He then walks back to his limo and it drives off.
"Looks like we gotta double the security systems of town" said StoneHeart. "That man is trouble incarnated and possibly soon to be a criminal in the act." He then gets back to his car and drives off.
Officer Tristen and Schoffner and the two cops also drive off. Adrien gets the cash and with Dana they go to Lincoln. "You okay Lincoln?"
"I'm alright guys, though I was this close to beating that guy up for what he said to you mom!" Lincoln let's a lone tear go down his face.
Luna can see how angered he was for that man and his insults and she hugs her son. "Shh, it's okay now kiddo. He's gone now and we're both alright. No need to go all out berserk my child."
Lincoln hugs her back and he lets some tears flow. 'Nobody says that about my mom. Nobody! You're the best mom I could ever ask for and I'm greatful for being your son! I love you so much mom."
Luna is touched by this and hugs him tightly, and then kisses his forehead. "I love you too, son."
Jordan, Adrien and Dana are awe struck by this mother and son bond, Adrien then sees the time. "Well, looks like your shifts are done guys." Then he grabs two folders and he hands them to Luna and Jordan. "Be sure to hand these to your teachers tomorrow, you two did a heck of a job here."
Lincoln and Luna break the hug and they see the folder, it was the evaluation to their one day internship. "Thanks Adrien, you're a good boss too" said Lincoln.
Adrien smiles. "Anytime kids, and I do hope to see you guys here again when you guys need some Seven-Eleven service."
"See you at school tomorrow Luna." Dana then goes over and hugs Lincoln. "Stay with your mom, she's all you got." She then high fives with Jordan. "And you and I should hang out some time, with some of my gal pal's as well."
They all smile and wave good bye to Dana as she heads back inside.
Lincoln and Jordan go back to the restrooms and change out of their uniforms and they put on their normal clothes and leave the restrooms and they hand the bags with the uniforms back to Adrien Santos. "Thanks for letting us have this internship Adrien" said Jordan.
"No prob kids." He then takes the bags and he heads back into the store.
Lincoln then sees his mom refueling her car and then paying up. She then waves at them. "Both your bikes are in the trunk, I'll take you home little Rosato."
"Thanks Lunes" said Jordan. Just then Adrien comes out with some two plastics.
"Take it guys, think of it as a bonus for the hard work you guys have been through."
Lincoln and Jordan look inside and they see some chocolate, cheese hotdogs and some slushies, they looks to the manager. "Thanks Adrien." The man nods and they head into the car and drive off.
Unknown to all of them, Great Grandma Harriet watches them leave and she has an angered look. 'Tetherby!' She then disappears.
(The Loud House, night time.)
Lincoln finishes using the bathroom and sighs in relief. He then sees the lights to the surveillance room are still on, he goes inside and he sees his mom going through a list of things and then she closes her notebook and she turns off the cameras.
Luna then sees her son standing there. "Hey there kiddo, ready for bed?"
"I am" replied Lincoln. Luna closes the door, kneels down and she pulls her son in for a hug.
"No matter what people say about us, don't let it get to ya. They just wanna break you down and take advantage of your weakness, I know you don't like it when people make fun of you or me or this small family we have here, just don't do anything drastic or you might get into trouble and I don't want to see my boy hurt from bad things."
Lincoln hugs her back and sheds some tears. "I'll try mom, I'll try. I just …. They don't know what it's like, to have somebody close to you get hurt like that, from hurtful words!"
Luna rocks her son back and forth. "I understand my child, I understand. Just don't let their hurtful words get to ya and just think of memories that show how great things are now and know that there are other people who are on your side, always."
They then break the hug and Luna wipes away her son's tears, she then gets up and she holds her son's hand and they walk back to the room and turn off the lights.
Lincoln gets into his lower bunk and is about to get some sleep, but then his mom scooches closer and embraces her son. Lincoln smiles and hugs her back. "Good night mom, you're the vest mom ever and I love you so much, mommy." He then falls asleep in his mother's warm embrace.
Luna sheds a small tear and she kisses her son's forehead. "Good night sweet child of mine, Mommy loves you too Linky." She too joins her son into dreamland.
Harriet then arrives back into the house with a smile. 'Come tomorrow, they will be glad when they look to the news. I did them a huge favor and no one messes with my family, no one!'
