And now we see what the louds, or should I say former louds are up to. I know some of you have been asking for this. Enjoy reading folks.

Family of Two.

Chapter 38: Louds away.

(State Michigan Correctional Facility, Lansing City. Lansing.)

Lynn Sr finishes changing his clothes back to his new orange prison attire and he looks around. "Yeah, still the same old morning thing."

"Try and hold on man." Lynn turns around and sees his kind cellmate enter already dressed in his prison attire. Gerald Langston. "You ate breakfast way before I did man and I heard you almost got in trouble with the cooks of this place again."

Lynn sighs and sits on his bed. "Sorry, it's just that this place doesn't have the decent food to make it more tolerable."

Gerald sits on his own bed. "Look Lynnard, you gotta try and hold on a little bit longer. Just make the most of it and toughen up, be a little bit of yourself and toughen up a bit. Do not and I mean do not try and do anything stupid here. Recall what happened last time when you tried to judge the food here?"

Lynn shudders. "Do not remind me. I do not wanna go back to that hole again."

"Then don't be an idiot and just try and stay out of the others ways, the folks here are trying to wait for their chances to leave just like me and the staff are just doing their jobs" replied Gerald. "I know you're still pissed at yourself for what happened to your family, I am a bit disappointed as well. But we're both on the same boat dude, so we misguided and ill-responsible parents gotta stick together."

"Yeah, I didn't told my wife about you yet" replied Lynn. "She only speaks or interacts with me when we're doing our parenting classes and she doesn't give me the chance to tell her about the kindest cellmate I got. But I think it's because she doesn't have a cellmate and would rather not talk about good company."

Gerald understands. "Okay man, it's cool." He then looks to the clock. "Shoot, Lynn you gotta get to your next parenting class or you'll be late."

Lynn gets up. "Thanks, and thanks for this talk. You really know how to wake me up into seeing the bright side of things."

Gerald smiles. "Hey man, I don't want the guy who is in my shoes to see things as a hopeless wreck. Me? I know I won't be fully forgiven by my family, but when I do get out of here. I wanna show them that I have changed. So, I can at least provide child support."

"I really am hoping you can get out of here, just as me." Lynn Sr then leaves the cell and makes his way through the halls and heads for the parenting class room.

Gerald then sees if there as anything to tidy up, then he sees something in the trash. "Huh, what's this?" He sees it was a letter from Luna and Lincoln Loud. 'Lynn's former kids?' He decides not to open it and he puts it underneath Lynn's pillow. 'Lynn must've out it in the trash out of grief and self-hatred. He has to read it, or he won't find some clarity.'

Lynn Sr then sees his wife, Rita looks to her husband and sighs. "Let's get this over with."

Lynn Sr knows she's in distraught and is lost in two paths. To love Lynn, or hate him. Lynn fears she might file a divorce when this is all over. 'Rita, I wish I can talk to you. Just let me.' He then follows his wife into the room so that they can start on another lesson to parenting class.

(Royal Woods Juvenile Detention Hall, somewhere at the county line.)

Lori lays in bed and then looks to the ceiling above her. 'I know I've been here for a month, but it feels like a literal year. What the hell do I do now?'

Then she hears a bang on her door, it was one of the female guards. "Lori, time for janitor duty."

Lori sighs and gets up. 'Me and my big mouth.' Lori then gets up and she walks out the room, but then guard stops her.

"Kid, we don't want you getting into any more trouble. You did start a fight when you first came here and we're still greatful you stopped a riot too. But me and the other guards got word that a lot of the ladies here want you out of the picture. You copy me Lori?"

Lori nods. "Understood, and don't worry. I am not fighting unless it's for self-defense." She winks at the guard and she nods. Lori then heads off and she goes to do her work.

What she doesn't know, is that a group of girls see her walk by and then they follow her. Lori then sees the bucket and mop and she starts to clean the main halls of the area that leads to the showers. Lori whistles a song Luna once made.

"Hey Lori!" Lori continues to whistle and work. The girl headed towards her has black hair that looks like a perm and she's missing two teeth at the bottom. "Lori! We wanna talk to you!"

Lori ignores her and she doesn't notice the girls surrounding her. "Hey bitch! You think you're so tough to stop all of us from fighting? Huh? We could've gotten out of this hell hole and lived it up in the good life, but no! You had to intervene and stop us."

Lori just mops and ignores them. "Are you listening to me? No body ignore me! I'm cell block Sasha and this is my terf whore! So, stop what you're doing and fight us blonde haired bitch!"

Lori continues to mop and ignore Sasha, this make the dark haired girl angry. "That's it!" Sasha is about to hit Lori, but she ducks down and Sasha ends up hitting her own friend. "Hey!" Her friend then punches her but she misses and it turns into a wicked sense of accidently hitting each other so hard they fall unconscious.

Sasha is left standing with a bruise from her friend and she growls at Lori. "I am so going to own you! You're going to cry and beg for me to stop shoving my whole hand down your ass Lori!" Sasha charges at her, but Lori goes to the bucket and Sasha slips on the wet floor and she hits the floor and groans in pain.

"Sasha, Sasha, Sasha." Lori goes to her. "You really thought I was gonna fight you? You had no idea what the real plan was did you?" Then some female cops arrive and take Sasha and her friends away.

"What the? What the fuck is this? What are you all doing?" said Sasha as she's being cuffed.

"Sasha, for confessing your plans of escape you just got you and your friends into the maximum lockdown are and extended time here for 10 years" said one of the officers.

Sasha looks to Lori. "You! You set me up!"

Lori smiles. "Heck yes I did and it looks like you are literally locked up for a long, long time. You and your friends regret confronting me now?" Sasha is then taken away as she yells at Lori.

"This isn't over Lori! When I get out, I am going to make you hurt so bad you'll call me you're master! I will own you!" The doors then get locked as Sasha is taken away.

The officer and Lori shake hands. "Good job Lori, also this came in the mail today for ya. Also when you're done with this the warden will be ready for you at anger management class." The cop then heads back to file all that has happened.

"Thanks officer Sanders." Lori then puts the letter in her pocket and goes back to work. The letter is from Lincoln and Luna.

(Crotus Penn Mental Hospital, Marquette.)

Luan rocks back and forth, she is now in the yellow room. Luan sighs and she looks around herself. "Well Luan, you did it. You snapped again, for the fifth time." She then looks down with tears in her eyes.

Why is she there for the fifth time? She once again had the violent urge and she made a prank and it hurt a guard, like really bad that he quits. So, this is the fifth time she's in here.

Luan sighs and leans onto the soft wall and looks to herself, tied in a strait jacket again. 'The only company I have is myself. How the heck am I supposed to recover when a part of me wants to continue the same vile pranking onslaught as before?'

Then her door is opened and some guys in white suits come in and a bald man with glasses. "Luan, time for your evaluation, again." The men pick her up and they bring her out of the room and down the hallway with the doctor leading.

"So, which is it this time doc? My brain, or my heart?" asked Luan as she allows herself to be dragged by them.

"Neither, we think that what you need is a safe and comfortable environment to fix that brain of yours" said Doctor Reginald Himmler.

They then toss her into a room, the room is black all over the walls. "What the? What is this?"

"See you after an hour" said Doctor Himmler. He then closes the door and licks it, Luan hears like ten bolts and locks being secured.

Luan looks around, all she can see is darkness. Then as it turns out, the walls are screens and they start to show Luan footage, footage of Lincoln crying and getting hurt from all of her pranks and from being dragged around to her gigs and being tortured.

Luan looks around, all four walls, the ceiling and underneath her. She can see Lincoln crying and in pain, and then sees Luna angry at her and attempting to take her down. "Wha … No! No! Stop it! Stop please! Stop it!"

Luan goes to her knees and she starts to cry her heart out and starts to plead and then apologies for what she's done, but the whole thing won't stop. It won't until an hour has passed, it repeats over and over and she can't look away or cover her ears. All she can hear, is Lincoln's crying and Luna's anger against her.

(One hour later.)

The men and doctor come back in and they turn off the screens and look to Luan who is leaning on the wall. "Anything to say?"

Luan doesn't respond. "This is the first sign. Full misery, afterwards she will mourn and then stop thinking and then she I will see if she still has issues. Take her to the medical room. We need to do a scan on her brain."

The men nod and take her away. The doctor then sees the letter in his pocket, the one from Lincoln and Luna. Doctor Himmler sighs. 'Not yet, not yet. Once she is overridden of her demented thoughts then I will show this to her, for now she must undergo three months of brain trials.' He then leaves the room, to begin examining on Luan and her prank-minded brain.

(Traverse City Juvenile Hall.)

Lynn Junior, or we should just call her Lynn. Is leaning by the fence outside of the place. She sees some teens like her playing around with some basketball. Lynn sighs and ignores them.

Then someone sits next to her. "So, you're not joining them?" Lynn sees it's her cellmate and bestie. Annabelle C. McCann. "You look interested, but not really."

Lynn ignores her. "Sorry Annie, but I am not going through who I was before. Sports and me are just two things don't shouldn't mix anymore, I don't wanna hurt anyone, especially you. I don't want you to be near me right now Annie. Just leave me here to wallow in my own misery."

Annie sighs. "Very well then, but you know I'm not gonna give up on ya. You need to understand what you've done and at least make amends with yourself and then see if you can make amends with the people you've wronged. I wanna help you Lynn, no matter how many times I get beaten up. I ain't giving up on you girl." Annie then walks away from her.

Lynn then thinks about what she's done and how much of her fault was at play for her to be here in this place. She still recalls the court and the look on Lincoln's face when he was scared and then happy that they won. Lynn recalls yelling for forgiveness and begging not to be taken away. Those haunt her, they haunt her still.

'When will this nightmare end?' Then the basketball rolls to her. Lynn sees the ball and the teens waving at her to toss it back. Lynn thinks about it, she can see Annie who was playing with the teens and she waves at Lynn.

Lynn smirks. 'She really knows how to get under my skin huh? Fine.' Lynn picks up the ball wand walks to them, she then scores the bank shot and they all clap.

Lynn then sees them all insisting her to join. So, Lynn decides to join. And for once, she was having fun, like when she first tried sports she had fun and wasn't competitive. Like old times. What made Lynn realize, these girls she's playing with and against, they're the group of teens Annie talked to, the group of friends who also wanna help. Annie, you sneaky little bastard you!

(Later.)

The whole game ends with Annie's team winning. "So, anything to say Lynn?" asked Annie. The others also go to Lynn.

Lynn pants and chuckles and she shakes hands with them. "Good game guys, good game." They all liked the sound of that. "So, we gonna get something to drink or what?" They all head back into the place and the guards were also clapping, they were glad Annie's plan worked. Yup, they were in on it.

Annie then hands Lynn a letter. "What the heck is this? I get mail? Huh, weird. Who would wanna mail to me?" Lynn is shocked to see it was from Luna and Lincoln. "W-What?" Lynn looks to Annie.

"This is the next step Lynn, I also have some news you need to know. News about Lincoln, Luna and my idiot cousin Chandler." They then walk off with their friends, and Annie tells Lynn what happened between Lincoln, Luna and Chandler McCann.

(Dawning residence, Huron.)

The peaceful house of the Dawning family is peaceful and quiet and of course two girls live there, this is a foster home, these twins are Lola and Lana, and both of them are still in deep thought after all that has happened to the family they once had, they both live with the happy couple of Darrel and Emily Dawning, and they have been helping the twins with their memories and grieving.

Lola goes outside of the house, dressed in a pink dress with white shoes, white socks and a pink bow. The tiara and pageant gown is gone.

Lana is in the backyard, still wearing the same clothes. Lola sits next to her underneath the tree. "So, what did you do after we came back here from school?"

"Well, Darrel needed help with his car's engine and I helped out, the big thing needed new spark plugs and he said he was gonna go and buy some" replied Lana. "What did you do?"

"Well, Emily helped me read, and I am progressing and I'm sorry for not telling you that I can't read" replied Lola.

Lana hugs her twin. "It's okay Lola. I guess we both have some deep secrets we haven't gotten out yet, and some secrets that are way too painful to think about."

"Yeah, also Emily said she was going to have us see a therapist later" said Lola.

"I'm cool with that. I really don't wanna have nightmares of alligators anymore" said Lana. "So you still have nightmares of killing yourself?"

Lola nods and then sheds some tears. Lana hugs her twin and they both hug each other. "W-What happened t-to us L-Lana? Why did … Why did we d-do all of that t-to Lin-Linky?!"

Lana sheds a few tears. "I don't know, I don't know Lola." They both stay like this, in each other's embrace and still mourning over the family they once knew and loved now shattered.

Unknown to them, Hops sees them from the hole in the fence and he sighs. He wants to go and comfort Lana, but right know she needs to be with her twin, so Hops goes to the nearby pond and waits there. He'll show himself to her when the time is right.

(Medical treatment and rehabilitation facility, Bay City)

The once proud and great fashionista is going down the halls and going through the schedule. "Okay, so I have to check on Montez and see if he's progressing out of his dilemma with scorpions and then I can check on Cassandra and see if she still has an issue of seeing ducks with mustaches."

Leni then goes to her room to get her things. She stops when she sees a letter, she opens it and reads it. "Oh, it's from Lincoln and Luna." Leni reads the letter, it tells of what they have been doing after they're last visit and Leni is deeply concerned about this.

"Poor Lincoln. He is going through hard times and I have to let them live through this, but I really wanna be there to help them." Leni then takes a look at the books she has and her reading glasses. Leni then recalls they're offer that she will only be there for one week.

She then writes a note and she puts it into the same envelope and uses the stamp she has for when she needs to send it back home, to Royal Woods. "I think a year is good enough for me, I should go back and see how they're doing."

Leni then gets the books, clip board and her glasses. "But until then, I should do what I can to help these people, they need guidance." Leni then exits her room with the envelope in her book. She makes her way to the front desk.

"Hey there Heather, is it cool if you could send this for me?"

Heather sees the envelope and smiles. The red haired woman looks to Leni. "Finally make a response to your closest friends back home huh? Was about time actually."

Leni chuckles. "Yeah, sorry about that. I've been very busy around here and I didn't have time to write to anyone or even know what to write."

"Well, I'll be sure to let the mail man get this so he can have this sent to the Loud House. Also, here's word for ya kid. Miss Torres was released this early morning, came here and got picked up by her family" replied Heather.

"Shut up, No way." said Leni. "That's wonderful for her, I guess she's cured of her dilemma that she thinks she's a dog."

Heather nods and then hands Leni a gift box. "This was from her, she dedicated her recovery to the one girl who was patient and kind towards her."

Leni opens the box and sees they were water lilies and lilacs. Leni smiles. "I guess this makes it patient number 5 that has recovered?"

"Six actually, you did good kid and everyone here is greatful for what you've done" replied Heather. "All the folks here think you deserve to go home. You are technically cured as of now."

Leni then puts the flowers back in the box. "Sorry, but I'm gonna wait a little longer. Maybe until the end of the year, I still wanna help these people. The one dumb Leni is gone and now, here I am." Leni then looks to the clock. "Well, I should get going, see you tonight for Dream Boat?"

Heather chuckles. "We're not placing bets again kid." Leni then walks off, smiling knowing she will take her leave when the time comes and looking forward to whoever she can help next. Leni still has a heart of gold and a bright and logical mind.

(Helmandollar house.)

Lisa on the other hand is feeling happy, she's in the backyard and looking up into the sky alongside her sister Darcy. "So, what do you wanna do later Lisa?"

Lisa looks to her sister and thinks of the options for them to do. "Well, we could either read, play with our stuffed animals or see if mother and Teri made cookies, or we could watch some TV."

"That sounds like a plan, though I don't know which one to do" said Darcy. "They all sound nice."

Lisa smirks. "Either one of those options will do for the both of us, also in three. Two. One."

The door opens. "Hey girls we made cookies with rainbow sprinkles. Want some?" asked Teri.

Darcy looks to Lisa and smiles with stars in her eyes. "Good call Lisa, let's go and have some cookies!" Darcy gets up and heads back inside.

Lisa gets up and walks there. Lisa is glad this is her life now. All she has recalled from her old self is nothing more than a distant history. But deep down, it still lingers. She has to try and adapt to this new life with Darcy and accept being a 4 year old, if she wishes to be over with the old Lisa, the once Lisa Loud.

(Shapiro residence.)

A gable is struck and the whole Morticians club is in the backyard of the house. "Alright everyone, we all know why we are here" said Bartholomew. "To welcome and thank Maggie for accepting forming the Morticians Club for Middle School." They all clap slowly.

Maggie is there alongside her emo friends. She then takes the pedestal. "Umm, thanks I guess. But I wouldn't have been given this chance for me and my friends to make this, if it wasn't for Lucy who convinced you kids for letting us make the morticians club for middle school and I promise you all that once I do graduate out of middle school, I will make the morticians club possible for like, High school."

Lucy waves to Maggie and Maggie smiles towards her little sister.

They all clap slowly once again. "Splendid words Maggie and we look forward to see how far this legacy of the morticians club will go on, you are truly born for this role, or better yet immortalized for it."

Maggie and her friends smile. "We like the sound of that, also wicked."

Then their mom comes into the backyard. "Maggie, Lucy. Do you both and you're little friends want blood sausages?"

Lucy and Maggie smile. "Heck yeah." they all head inside.

Lucy and Haiku walk side by side as the others head inside. "Thanks for this Lucy, this is a good start for future Goths and emo's" replied Maggie.

"It was the least I could do, there isn't much clubs like this to go around" replied Lucy.

Maggie then ruffles Lucy's hair. "I am so glad you're my little sister, my little Gothic sister."

Lucy chuckles and they both go into the house and join their friends.

(D. Pingrey home.)

As for the little Lily Loud, still 2 years of age and soon to be 3 come next year. So, pretty much this former loud has been having the time of her life and she likes her new parents and the friendly police dog named Oliver, living with them.

Lily gets to play around and taught things and she is steadily progressing. Tristen D. Pingrey enters the room of the infant and he sees their dog Oliver watching over the infant in the crib who is fast asleep with a book about nursery rhymes.

Tristen noticed Lily's blanket was turned into a lasso and the book was from the shelf nearby. The officer smirks. 'Huh, smart kid. Really smart.' He then tucks her in and takes the book away from her.

Lily smiles and mumbles. "Winky." Tristen smiles hearing that.

'Looks like she still has good memories of a past long back then, it's only a matter of time before she grows up and asks who the people are in her dream.' Tristen then pets Oliver. "Keep an eye on her bud." The dog remains silent and looks to the sleeping baby and Tristen leaves them be,

(The Loud House.)

Our mother and son duo are both laying on a hammock in the backyard and looking to the clouds in the sky. Luna looks to her son and she pulls him close to her. Lincoln chuckles at this and then asks. "You think they read the letters we sent them?"

"No clue kiddo, if they did then they'll know that they're sentences have been lightened" replied Luna. "And if they do come back here, then we gotta take precautions to whatever is gonna happen. We don't know how they feel or if they have some slight issues with what happened to all of us."

"I know mom, I know" replied Lincoln. He then asks her something. "So mom, when are you gonna take gun shooting lessons?" Luna is shocked her son knows that one, she looks to Lincoln in utter disbelief. "Sorry mom, I overheard you talking with Merris earlier. Please don't be mad."

Luna kisses his forehead and hugs her son tightly. "I'm not mad, but I don't want you to get involved with that one. Okay bud?"

"Okay mom, I love you so much." Lincoln closes his eyes and hugs his mom tightly.

Luna close her eyes and hugs her son tightly. "Mommy loves you too Linky, and I will do everything I can to keep you safe. Always."

A/N: And there we go, from the former parents all the way to the baby. Looks like things for them are hard and yet good as well, I will make another one for October.
