This is when they celebrate the 75th birthday of Myrtle (Gran-Gran) but, things might not go so well, let's see what happens. Enjoy folks.

Chapter 48: Trouble at Sunset.
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln and Luna both head out of the house, they both have their normal clothes on and Lincoln has a large gift box in his hand, Luna then closes and locks the door and with them is Great Grandma Harriet.
"Okay, so the house is secured and everything is in tip top shape and there have been no signs or reports about any wild animals roaming around the neighborhood, so the place will be fine" replied Great Grandma Harriet. Then she recalls. "Also, just in case, I am bringing one of my books with me."
"Umm, why exactly?" asked Lincoln.
"Lincoln, we're going to a place where chances there are the paranormal lingering, and I wanna talk with them about what they did when they were still living and if they do wish to be seen by the people in the party, then I can use this book to let them be part of it. Let's hope the elderly there don't suffer from heart attacks when they see their deceased friends."
Lincoln and Luna weren't feeling like it was a good idea, but this was the choice of the lost and not for everyone else, sort of.
"Okay, so let's get into the car and head off now, I got a text from Sam that they're inbound" replied Luna, she then puts her duffle bag into the trunk.
Soon, they see the Rosato van and they see Jordan, her mom, Sam and Simon waving at them. "Huh, looks like Simon has no plans for today and they got a ride from Jordan's mom, cool" replied Lincoln.
"Let's get going guys" said Luna. They then head into the purple Ferrari and they begin they're drive with the Rosato van following.
"Mom, do you think Gran-Gran is gonna like this?" asked Lincoln. He looks to the box and sorta feels unsure about what they got for her.
"Linc, I know she'll love it" replied Luna. "You know how kind she is and she seems to really enjoy the company of people she calls family, and we're family. Also, she'll love to the fact you're wearing that sweater she gave ya."
Lincoln is wearing a lovely red sweater with some green on the collar and cuffs and it has an orange and purple stripe in the middle and written on it says. "To the best Grand kid I have ever met" She made one for Luna, but it accidently got shrunk by mistake.
"Chances she'll ask why you're not wearing yours, I have so much to explain when I washed it by accident" replied Great Grandma Harriet.
"I'm sure Gran-Gran will understand, she knows it was an accident and she knows you didn't mean it, and it sure is a shame you can't wear the one she made for you" replied Lincoln.
Harriet does recall. "Yeah, she completely forgot that I'm ethereal and have no need for new clothing, well, it's nice to keep though."
But while they're away, they have no clue something small and black has entered they're house and is making itself comfortable in their basement, and looking for something within the place.
(Sunset Canyon Retirement Home.)
They all arrive to the place and park the two rides. "Wow. This is like the first time I've been to someplace like this" replied Simon as he looks to the building.
"Same, I think" replied Sam. "Okay, I have no clue whether I've been to one or not, but chances it was a long, long time ago back when I was very little. Can't recall much."
"Okay guys, we're all here, so let's get in there and have some fun and greet Gran-Gran a Happy Birthday" said Luna. They all head into the Retirement home, and they all see some decorations setup everywhere.
"Wow. So, should we also call her Gran-Gran?" asked Simon.
"Well, she does appreciate it, I call her that too since she sees me as family, I haven't seen my own grandparents in over two years, and that was so long ago" replied Jordan, she feels saddened about this and they know why, she told them that her grandparents from the mom and dad side have passed away.
Lincoln then holds her hand. "Hey, even though they're gone, they'll always be watching you and I bet they'd be happy that you found some other old folks that you can see as your own grandparents."
Jordan smiles from this. "Thanks, this means a lot for you to say to me, I just hope we can have as much fun as we had yesterday."
"Let's keep an eye on Scoots though, she can be pretty rough, and also troublesome" replied Jesse.
Harriet then stops and feels something. "I wish I could join you all, but I must head off to see this presence I just felt and ask how this said presence passed away, I will meet up with you soon and tell Myrtle I said hi." She then passes through the wall and is out of sight.
"Umm, what the heck was that about?" asked Sam.
"Just something Great Grandma wants to deal with, we'll see her in the party soon" replied Luna.
They soon enter the main dining room and they see a lot of the senior citizens there are already enjoying the many food and the games and TV there, the place has changed since they got rid of that mean nurse, Sue. All the employees are also celebrating and keeping an eye on the seniors in case something bad happens and they are prepared for anything.
"Wow. Look at this place!" said Simon. "It's like a party from the past and they're playing video games too!" Simon goes over and watches as Seymour and Bernie and playing an old game on an antauri. Now Simon was fascinated by the old fashioned games.
"Kids!" They see the old woman of the party they were looking for, Myrtle also known as Gran-Gran. She goes over and she hugs Lincoln and Luna. "So, glad you guys could make it to my 75th birthday!"
"Hi Gran-Gran! Happy Birthday!" Lincoln and Luna return the hug.
They soon break the hug. "Oh, Lincoln you're wearing the sweater I gave you, how nice. But where's the one I gave to you Luna?" asked Myrtle.
Luna chuckles. "Yeah, let's just say Great Grandma Harriet had a mistake when she was washing the clothes and the sweater…. shrunk in the wash."
Pop-pop then comes up and chuckles. "Classic mom, she did the same thing back then and I couldn't wear my shirt and I mistook it for one of Ruthie's doll clothes, that was kinda awkward and I still have it with me." He then shows them the shrunk white shirt keychain.
"I made it into a keychain to see just how funny it was back then on that day, also this thing hasn't grown back since I was eleven."
They were shocked he had that, and they're wondering what would happen if Harriet did see that again.
"Well, that's okay, the shirt should be back to normal size when it takes in some heat and dries up, then you can be able to wear it again" replied Myrtle. "It is after all September and coming soon is October, which means things will be pretty chilly out soon."
"We might just wear them again for Christmas and we want you to be part of that one too" replied Lincoln. "Also, we made something for you."
Myrtle smiles and takes the nicely wrapped gift. "It's not even November or thanksgiving and I'm already invited to a family holiday, thank you so much guys and I'm looking forward to whatever you kids got me."
"And it looks like Sam's little brother is enjoying the company" said Pop-pop. They all see Simon going at it and beating Seymour at some vintage racing game, and Scoots and Bernie cheer for him, since Seymour was said to be good in this game and also gloats a lot.
"Well, I'm glad he's having fun, and we should be having some fun too" said Sam.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get this party started, also where the heck is Mom anyway?" asked Pop-pop. "I thought she'd be with you guys now."
"She said something about talking to some formerly living people here, and I think she intends to let them be part of this party too" replied Lincoln.
Hearing that made them feel uneasy. "Well, let's hope mom doesn't scare the daylights out of anyone here, because some of the staff is kinda paranoid about ghosts and stuff. That we forgot to mention."
(Fun Elderly Party Montage.)
They enjoy some fruit twister with Pop-pop and Myrtle, and as always, Pop-pop gives out some gas and responds. "Who stepped on a frog?" Which everyone laughs, and then Bernie faints from the smell.
They enjoy some nice karaoke from the elderly, some of the songs were as vintage as the Beetles and Luna and Sam tag team onto some of the songs and they all cheer. Now the employees are hoping they can hire Luna and Sam to perform for some occasional events that they celebrate there, they are really good singers.
They all enjoy some fun in the swimming pool and thank goodness they brought they're swimsuits with them, and of course it turns into a near tidal wave when Lincoln and Albert cannon ball together.
Jordan and Jesse enjoy some knitting time with Myrtle, and of course Lincoln and Luna also join in. Myrtle was impressed at how natural Luna was at knitting and asks how she's good at it and we all know the answer to that one. The Loud House Season 1 Episode "Roughin' It."
Lincoln and Simon the play some video games to go toe-to-toe with Bernie and Pop-pop and it turns into a stalemate on either side.
They even hear some good old stories from some of the elderly, mostly from some marine friends from Pop-pop who showed up to the event, and some back stories of Scoots and how she came to be, and it did sound kinda epic and intense. She was born in the back of an ice cream truck? What?!
And it ends with some slow dancing from the couples there, Lincoln and Jordan, Sam and Luna and of course, Albert and Myrtle, but where the heck was Harriet? She hasn't even shown up or anything!
(End Montage.)
The rest of the party goers soon calm down and just enjoy some nice food and decent chatter, they already sang happy birthday and also sliced the chocolate cake.
"Wow, this cake is so delicious!" said Simon. "Where did you guys buy this?"
Myrtle chuckles. "Oh Simon, we made it, well me and Albert here. He wasn't really that skilled when it came to making cake, so I had to help him out, oh and Scoots also helped with the cake too."
"My mama taught me well" replied Scoots as she eats her slice, the then sees Seymour looking at it. "Hands off Seymour, you had your slice!"
"I know how to make a pizza, I know how to make toast and other pastries and bread stuff, but I guess me and cake have it hard" replied Albert. "No clue why, but I guess we all have some flaws."
"Like with me and brownies, I am horrible at making them" replied Jordan. Jesse nods to confirm this.
"This is nice, all of us here, celebrating Gran-Gran's birthday, and enjoying this calm and peaceful moment, having fun and sharing so many stories and nice chatter" replied Lincoln. "Really makes us one big happy family."
"It sure does, and I'm so happy that I now have a family I can truly spend so much time with, maybe next time I can meet Leni, and possibly Lucy" replied Myrtle. "I know they're not family anymore, but deep down I know you guys still feel like they're family."
"True" replied Luna. "We also wanna see if we can redeem the others, which is why we lowered they're sentence, so that when they get out from where they are, we can meet and talk and perhaps find some semblance of peace in mind."
Albert smiles. "That's nice of you guys to do, and truth be told, I'm not mad with Rita, I'm just disappointed after what she did and I still love her and perhaps I can speak to her when she gets out. Do they let people visit them from where they are at?"
Luna thinks about this. "Not sure, maybe I can ask Sandra Merris and Danny StoneHeart and maybe they can arrange some kind of visiting arrangement for you and Rita, Linc and I don't feel like seeing her just yet."
Albert places a hand on Luna's shoulder. "I understand, what matters is that you and Linc are giving them a chance to redeem themselves. I'm proud of you guys for that."
Lincoln and Luna smile. "Thanks Pop-pop."
Myrtle then takes a picture of this. "This is so touching, I am so going to keep this. I do so love how you guys show so much passion and lover for each other, this day can't get worse for us."
"Look whose back, you old geezers!" They all stop and look to the main door and they see the one person they thought they'd never see again. Sue! She's not wearing her nurse's attire, she's wearing a grey hoodie, black slacks and white and blue sneakers, and she also has a black eye for some reason.
"What the heck?! What are you doing here?" asked one of the employees.
"Well, this can't be good" replied Scoots, so she eats her cake quickly.
"Doesn't matter! What matters is that I'm back, and I'm gonna make sure this place is always gonna be as it always is, my way!" yelled Sue. "Now, I want this place cleaned up and I want everyone to get back to work and all these seniors back to their rooms, no parties and no birthdays while I run this joint!"
Albert takes a stand with his old marine pals. "You can't tell us what to do, this is our retirement home and you don't own this establishment or us!"
Scoots also joins them. "That's right Shrew! This here is our terf and we're all standing against you! So what are you gonna do about it you mean old grungy skin bag?!"
Sue smirks and she pulls out a kendo stick. "I think this should change your minds! Now, back to your rooms now and I want all you low-life workers out of here now, you're all fired!"
"We're not going anywhere, you don't work here anymore Sue, this place belongs to the real man of the place" said one of the caretakers. "You're not the boss anymore!"
Luna then stands between all of them, and in her hand is a taser gun. "Sue, get the hell out of here and don't come back!"
Sue did not like seeing this girl, the girl who is related to the old man she hates the most and she sees the white haired boy who she also hates. "You don't scare me with that, I can take more than a few shocks and keep going!"
"She's not wrong" replied Seymour.
"Can it Seymour!" yelled Scoots.
Just then Lincoln sees some one sneaking up from behind, and he knows who it is.
"So, this is what's gonna happen. You and your kid and these other non-elderly get the heck out and I take back this joint and make it my own! Or someone is gonna be kicking the bucket early this month!" said Sue.
Luna looks to the former nurse in anger. "Not. Gonna. Happen." Soon, Jesse and Sam join her. Jordan keeps Simon way from this and Lincoln gets ready for whatever plan is about to unfold.
"Fine then!" Sue then charges at Luna with the kendo stick, Luna then fires the taser gun, but Sue keeps coming. Luna braces herself, but then Sue is launched to the wall by some kind of unknown force and then sent to the celling and then spun in the air and is sent to the other wall face first.
The elderly and staff were shocked to see this. "Did I take the right pills today?" asked Bernie.
Then Sue gets up, just as Harriet shows herself. "No one, hurts my family!" The ghost uses her paranormal powers and she sends Sue slamming onto the ground and then straight to the wall again, Lincoln grabs the curtains and he goes around Sue and she's wrapped around it and immobilized.
"No! What the heck?! Get me out of here!" yelled Sue. But a cupcake is shoved to her mouth.
"Can it Shrew!" said Scoots.
Jesse then pulls out her phone. "The Detectives are gonna love putting you back in jail again."
Sue then spits out the cupcake. "No! Not this time!" She uses her strength and she breaks free and grabs Lincoln and holds him with her kendo stick.
"Mom!" Lincoln tries to break free but he can't.
"Lincoln!" Luna gets ready her taser gun again.
"Not so fast!" Sue then backs up while holding the 11 year old. "You're all getting out of here, and everything will go as I say, or this kid gets it!"
"You monster!" yelled Albert. He charges to Sue and tackles her with all the strength he's got, Lincoln is sent flying to the punch bowl with so much ice for some reason.
Luna hands the taser gun to Sam and goes to her son, while everyone witnesses Albert go fist to the face onto Sue, and he is one heck of a fighter.
One of the veteran marines whistle. "Yup, just like the old day, when he beat me at boxing. 77 times."
(Later.)
The cops shows up, and they hear everything from the elderly and the staff about what had happened.
Sue is being hauled into an ambulance after taking a beat down from Albert, and let's just say she seems unrecognizable with her face badly bruised and beaten like getting hit in the face by a sledgehammer.
Great Grandma Harriet explains to Merris and StoneHeart what happens and she doesn't seem to be a threat, now that the elderly can see just how nice it is to have some spiritual help from an old relative.
Meanwhile, Lincoln has a blanket around him and sniffs. Luna and Sam look to the boy and he sneezes.
Luna then hugs Lincoln. "It's okay kiddo, you're safe, you're fine. Everything's gonna be alright, I'm here." Sam also hugs Lincoln, and soon Jordan and Simon join in.
Albert and Myrtle go towards them. "Hey guys, sorry this all happened. I didn't think she'd be back" replied Myrtle. "You doing okay Lincoln."
They then break the hug. "Yeah, I'll be fine, I think I'm gonna catch a cold again, but what matters is that everyone else is okay." He then looks to Albert. "How're your hands Pop-pop?"
Albert looks to his bandaged knuckles. "Well, they never felt the full might of feeling someone flesh to the bones, I didn't think I still had it in me, but I'm doing okay."
Lincoln smiles and they all gather for one more group hug, but Luna was worried and also afraid. After what had happened, she was now in deep fear for if that happens again.
But for now, she has a kid to take care of, now that he's gonna be sick, again. They are unable to see the news crew that arrived to see all of this, they're bound to be the talk of the town once more, soon.
