This is when Lincoln is no longer sick and if you guys have any ideas for future chapters, you all know what to do. Review, PM and we'll see how any ideas you guys have can work, can't guarantee some of them will make it. I just now realized this is starting to sound like an audition. Anyway, enjoy guys.

Chapter 52: Audition and a spy.

(The Loud House.)

Lincoln Loud looks to himself to the mirror in the bedroom and he checks his attire. Orange jacket that has violet at the cuffs with a white shirt inside and blue jeans and white and ted shoes. He then smiles. "This is it, you're all cured and no more cold and today is the day, I nail it for the audition… auditions, right it's just gonna be me."

Lincoln picks up the guitar case, that has his acoustic guitar inside and he also grabs his school bag and he heads out of the room and downstairs, he then sees his mom Luna and Great Grandma Harriet waiting downstairs, Lincoln and Luna already ate breakfast.

Luna smiles seeing her kid. "Look at you, dressed for the day and ready to lock and load for the auditions…. audition. Wow, I forgot it was just gonna be you."

Lincoln chuckles. "I told myself the same thing, and don't worry mom, I recall what you said and that it's not about me trying to ace it. Because even if I don't make the cut, I at least gave it my all and I had fun with it."

Luna smiles and she hugs her kid and kisses his forehead. "Oh, my baby boy is gonna go and perform for an audition today, I hope you do make it, but if not then I'll still be happy for you!"

Lincoln smiles and hugs her back. "Thanks mom."

"And I'll be here, getting ready to make the cake you need. Well, I'll be making two cakes, the reason is for when you guys come back from your auditions…. audition, dang now you got me saying it" replied Great Grandma Harriet.

Luna then checks the time. "Well, time for us to head on out now." They both leave the house and get into the family Purple Ferrari. "We'll see you when we get back Great Grandma Harriet."

"And I look forward to the cake!" replied Lincoln, the car then drives off and Great Grandma Harriet waves goodbye to them.

"Well, time to make the cake… Cakes, this whole thing with saying the wrong thing is gonna be a normal thing for today isn't it?" She then goes back into the house and gets to work.

But unknown to them a red Ferrari follows Luna's Ferrari, but tries not to get too close. But Detective Sandra Merris sees this as she checks her mailbox. 'Huh, that's odd. Never thought I'd see another Ferrari in the neighborhood, and why does that car look so familiar.'

She then heads back inside and do some digging on whose car is that, luckily she saw the license plate and the name on it. "P0P-L0V3R" She needs to look this up and also call in some backup, just in case.

(Royal Woods Grade School.)

The purple Ferrari makes it to the school, and as always it's the high light for everyone to wanna take a picture of the awesome looking car in town.

Lincoln grabs his acoustic and he hugs his mom. "See you after school mom and I'll make sure that even if I don't make the cut, at least I gave it my all and I'll make sure that what I do, is from the heart."

Luna smiles and she hugs him back. "That's my boy, now go out there and show them what you can do. I know you can make it, and if not, then it'll all still be alright my wayward son."

Lincoln and Luna depart from the hug and he gets out of the car and he makes his way to the school. Luna smiles seeing this and looks ahead. 'My kid has talent and he wants to show everyone what he can do, kinda reminds me of myself.' She then drives off to her school.

But once again, the red Ferrari sees them and stays hidden elsewhere. The woman inside comes out and that woman is Michelle Lewis. "Okay, so since I can't be able to talk to Luna, maybe I can talk to the son. This plan of Doug's had better work."

She hen sneaks around the school and makes her way to an open window and is now inside. 'Now where the heck is he?' She then hears someone coming and she hides in the closet and she sees the janitor coming in and looking around.

"Huh, I swear I heard someone." He the closes the window and locks the classroom. Michelle realizes that she's stuck.

She comes out of the closet. "Dang it. Now what?" She then sees the vents. "Well, time to go Mission Impossible or something." She uses some chairs to crawl into the vents and look for the son of Luna Loud.

(Later.)

Lincoln and his pals and Jordan walk out of class. "So good to be back, back in school with my pals" replied Lincoln.

Rusty looks to him. "Linc, did you just her yourself say that? Because you know most of us don't wanna be here."

"I will pretend I didn't hear that Spokes, it sounds truly ungrateful from you" replied Principal Huggins as he walks buy them. "Also, welcome back to school Mr. Loud, and I look forward to you auditions… audition." He then walks away back to his office.

Lincoln smirks and they look to Rusty. "Regretting saying that man?" asked Stella.

Rusty sighs. "Yeah, how the heck was I even supposed to know he was gonna walk by me also, why didn't you guys warn me he was nearby?"

"We didn't really see him either dude, plus he's Principal Huggins, he's like everywhere in the school" replied Trent. "Heck, he was there when I didn't see him yesterday and he spooked me."

"Well, at least Lincoln's back and he can do what he wanted to do that some of us did" replied Zach.

"You nervous about today bud?" asked Clyde.

"A little, but I'll manage" replied Lincoln. "Even if I don't make the cut, the one thing I know is that I gave it my all and that my mom will be happy I played with pride and passion and showed them what I can do, talent or not, what matters is that I had fun and gave it my all."

"Very nice of you to say about yourself Lincoln." The voice of this woman was enough to make the other boys feel tense and turn red, except for Lincoln. He turns around and sees who it is.

"Hi Ms. Dimartino" said Lincoln.

"Hello there Lincoln, I look forward to see what you can do on stage later at the audition and I also look forward to seeing you and Jordan at my Spanish class later on." The majestic Spanish woman then walks off, leaving the other boys in a daze and the girls upset by them looking to her.

Jordan chuckles. "So glad you're not like them."

"Yeah, because my long lost childhood crush is back and there's no other girl who I'd rather be than the one who makes me feel happy" replied Lincoln. "Well, you and my mom of course."

Then Zach realizes. "Lincoln, Jordan. You guys take her Spanish class?!"

"We do, we did that yesterday after Clyde left my house, Jordan told me and I decided to be part of it as well, it's for extra credit and also a sort of pass from three big exams" replied Lincoln.

"Just as long as we can pass the class and then ace the test that she'll be the one to tell Huggins that we're no longer in need of the other exams from other subjects, well some subjects" replied Jordan.

"I'm also part of it, so it's probably just us three" replied Stella. "And chances, she might let us speak the native language of my country as well!"

"That's because the class is more than just Spanish" replied Lincoln. "It's also French, Russian, German and Japanese." He then checks his watch. "Oh, I gotta get going now, the auditions…. audition starts soon."

Lincoln and Jordan head off to the auditorium leaving their friends shocked and confused. "Dude, you think we can make it to that class?" asked Artie.

"Chances, we're gonna fail miserably" replied Lance. Then he gets punched in the shoulder from Joy.

"Yeah, because you dorks can't even go one day without looking at the lady who is way older than any of you!" Joy and the other girls then walk off, and they're guys need to make it up to them for acting like lovey dovey idiots.

Stella chuckles. "Dang, this day just got funny real fast." She then follows them.

But from the top of the vents, Michelle Lewis is hearing this. 'Luna's kid is auditioning for something. Well, this should be interesting. Now, where the heck is the auditorium?' She then goes back through the vents.

But then Lucy stops and looks around. "Huh, I thought I felt someone's presence." She then walks back to meet with her Goth friends, but she can still feel as if someone unwanted is on school grounds.

(Auditorium.)

Mrs. Johnson, Sheryl and Ms. Dimartino are at the judges table and are waiting for the white haired loud to get ready for his performance. Lincoln is at the backstage and is going through what he needs to do and he calms down. "You got this, you got this. This is to see if I can make it and then show everyone what I can do, what everything my mom has taught me, even the times when she was my sister she taught me so much about music."

Jordan goes over and kisses his cheek. "You got this, and your mom would be proud at what you're doing, even though she's not here just know she'll always be happy with what you do."

Lincoln kisses her cheek. "Thanks Jordan, I needed that. This is just…. Just happening right now, and I don't wanna mess this up. I just have to play form my heart and all will be well."

Then Jenny comes in her stage manager gear. "You're up Loud."

They look to their friend all confused. "You do know it's just me right?" asked Lincoln.

"I know, I just like being stage manager, makes me feel like I'm in charge of something" replied Jenny. "Even though I'm already in charge of the Journalist crew. Now, they're ready to see what you can do loud. Now, get out there and show them what you can do, no pressure."

"Thanks" replied Lincoln, he then looks to Jordan who gives him the thumbs up. Lincoln smiles and he heads on stage.

"Well, hello Lincoln" replied Sheryl. "Glad to see you back on your feet, we're ready for ya and what you got to show us."

"I know it'll be nice, he's passionate that way" replied Dimartino.

"You may begin Lincoln" replied Mrs. Johnson.

Lincoln sits onto the stool and has his acoustic, he then adjusts it and then he plays a soothing tune as he closes his eyes and the song is Ed Sheeran's "Thinking out Loud." and he even sings the song, in which the three judges and Jordan and Jenny did not see that one coming.

The sound of his voice gets the attention of some passing students who all hear this and so does Principal Huggins and many of Lincoln's friends come and see this, Lucy and Lisa also hear this and see what was going on, and never in their life did they think Lincoln was such a good singer, eventually many of the students also listen in on this and end up recording the whole thing.

Michelle Lewis is by the vents and sees this, her eyes sparkle at this young boy and how talented he is, she was able to record this and smile. 'Wow. He really is the son of Luna Loud, he sure is dang talented, and sure enough Doug might like this.'

Soon, Lincoln finishes, and he opens his eyes and sees the place is packed with lots of students. "Umm, did I do well?"

The three judges stand up and clap and so does everyone else. Lincoln gets off the stool and bows. 'Huh, I thought I'd get this when I would be part of the talent show. This seems way too early.'

As soon as everyone stops, Mr. Dimartino makes the announcement. "Lincoln that was incredible and Sheryl, Agnes and I are all in agreement and so is everyone else here…. Lincoln Loud, welcome to the Royal Woods Grade School Talent Show!"

everyone else claps and cheers at this victory Lincoln got and Lincoln smiles and bows and he heads back to where Jordan is, in which he gets surprised by her tackling hug. "Oh gosh Lincoln! That was so beautiful! When did you get the time to do this?"

Lincoln smirks. "Truth be told, I was just winging it. I was thinking of a song I could perform, but then I realized I didn't have a song that I prepped, except for the one I have planned for the actual talent show and so, I thought of the one song I heard at the mall and so… I chose that one."

Jordan and Jenny are shocked, he winged it. "Yup, you're your mother's son alright" replied Jenny. "Well done Loud and once again you are the talk of the school, again" replied Jenny.

Lincoln and Jordan then leave the backstage and are greeted by their friends and Lucy as well. He knows that sooner or later, his mom will see this and probably everyone in Royal Woods. He's not gonna be the talk of the school, he'll be the talk of the town.

While they all celebrate this moment that Lincoln has, Michelle then sends the video and gets a call from Doug. "You got it right?"

"Got it! Michelle, this kid would go great in the show! And think of what happens if he tag teamed with Luna, this could be big! Big! A mother and son duo on stage and becoming a hit and making us back on top once more!" replied Doug.

"I could only assume the plans changed right?" asked Michelle.

"Yes, I need you to get out of there and come back to me. We can talk more about the new plan later." Doug then hangs up.

Michelle then starts to crawl to the other direction of the vent. "I hope I didn't make a mistake doing this."

(Moments later.)

Lincoln, Jordan and the others walk out of the school and they see Luna waiting by her car and going through her notebook. "Hey mom!"

Luna sees her son and smiles. "Hey kiddo, how was the audition?"

Lincoln is confused. "Mom, you didn't see social media about what I did?" Even the others were confused.

"Well, the issue is, that when I left the school my phone's battery died and I have to charge it. Also the internet at the high school and middle school are down due to opossums hiding there" replied Luna. "Why? What happened? Did you make it?"

Lincoln understands that it was an unexpected thing to happen and so he hugs his mom. "Yes, yes I did! I made it and now I'm headed to the talent show soon! I am so in it!"

Luna smiles and she hugs her son. "Oh gosh! You made it Linc, you made it! Just wait till Great Grandma Harriet hears about this and then we can celebrate and I should probably check out what you did through my phone, it's charging in my car."

Just then they see the vents outside of the school open and someone falls out and hits the bushes. "Ow." She then gets up, and it's Michelle Lewis. "Dang it! I thought this…. Was the back?"

Luna and the others see her. "Michelle Lewis? What the heck?" Then Luna figures it out and looks to her in anger. "You… You were spying on my son! You were spying on my kid to get to me!"

Michelle gets nervous from this. "Luna, I…. Okay, so I did, but then I changed my mind and I was just leaving."

"Yeah, you are leaving." they all see Detective Merris and her partner StoneHeart. "Looks like someone is going down the station with us, like now!"

Michelle backs up, but then she gets cuffed by some cops who were hiding. "What the? No, it's not what you think. I wasn't trying to get to Luna, I swear I wasn't gonna hurt his kid. I just wanted to see what he can do through the auditions…. audition."

"Man, a lot of people have been saying that lately" replied Liam.

The cops then push Michelle to the squad car. "Let's go ma'am."

"No, I didn't mean it! I wasn't gonna take him, I just wanted to see what he can do!" said Michelle. But everything she just said raised so many red flags and then she sees the scared look from Lincoln and hiding behind Luna, and then she sees the enraged face from the mother of the boy.

Michelle realizes what she just said was a mistake and that she just made a kid get scared, of her. Something she didn't wanna do in the first place. "I'm sorry, please." She's then put into the squad car and drove off.

Luna then hugs her son. "Thank god she didn't get to you, I don't know what would've happened if you were taken away from me Lincoln."

Jordan also joins in the hug, and everyone saw what happened and heard what she tried to do, which means this is going out through social media as well and possibly to Doug Rockwell, was that the plan he wanted to do before Lincoln showed his skill?

(The Loud House.)

The Purple Ferrari makes it and Lincoln and Luna come out and see Great Grandma Harriet with a vanilla and coconut cake that says. "At least you tried and had fun."

"So how did it go?"

Lincoln and Luna smile and that was enough for her, she then places the cake back into the box and grabs a chocolate ice cream cake that says. "You did it! Next stop: Talent Show!"

"Sure wish I could've seen what you did Lincoln."

Lincoln then sees Luna and her fully charged phone. "Why wait, it was posted by everyone after they saw what I did."

They are about to go into the house and eat the congratulations cake and watch what Lincoln did but then Mr. Grouse calls them.

"Hey Louds! Can I have the other cake?"

A/N: Lincoln passed and he's inbound for the talent show with the song he made and it seems like Michelle Lewis has been caught, but chances she'll be back. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
