I decided that it was time for some friends from Great Lake City to make their debut into Royal Woods, well not all of them. Enjoy folks.

Chapter 56: Great Lakes friends.
(The Loud House.)
Sunday has come and everything is just chilling for those living within the house. Lincoln is in the backyard underneath the tree and tuning his guitar and also rehearsing on what he's planning to do for the talent show on Friday.
Lincoln goes over through his lyrics notebook and then tunes his guitar. 'Okay Lincoln, just take it easy and calm down. This week is what you've been waiting for and mom and a lot of my pals are gonna be watching and I wanna see if I can ace this.'
Lincoln then does his rehearsals again and then he sees his mom by the door. "Hey mom, what's up?"
Luna sits by her son, Lincoln closes his book and he puts his guitar away. "Well, I was kinda hoping we'd spend some time together today, but I know how much this whole talent show means to you, I can head back in if you want and you can call me when you need anything."
"No, no. It's alright, it's always nice to have you as company, and this is nice." Lincoln leans onto her shoulder and she pulls him close to her.
Luna then strokes his hair and kisses his head. "So, no chances I can listen to the song you've made or know what the title is?"
Lincoln chuckles. "Sorry mom, but no can do. The best way for you to hear the song is through the talent show and you're not the only one who asked, Jordan did the same thing and sure as heck I wasn't going to let her know what he song is or how it sounds."
Luna smirks. "Okay, okay. But, I have noticed that when you were practicing for the past few days, you haven't even sung with your voice. Something wrong?"
Lincoln sighs. "Well, performing the song to myself is not easy, because chances you'll hear me or someone else will and the whole surprise will be for nothing. So, I practice in my thoughts and see how well the song will be when I actually do sing it."
Luna then has concern. She wants him to perform the song for his practice moments, and she knows that the house isn't so easy to get privacy, even she could hear Lincoln's conversations from the room to the living room and down the halls, and she needs to find a way to help him practice so he can hear his own voice.
"Linc, maybe I can be able to find some way for you to do the practice properly without anyone trying to listen in. How about that?" said Luna.
Lincoln thinks about it. "Well, as nice as that sounds, no thanks mom. I don't want you to hassle yourself into doing something for me. I'm alright with what I can do." He then closes his eyes as he hugs Luna.
Luna still feels bad that he can't practice as she once did, she knows that when it comes to practicing songs, you have to listen to your own voice in order to know how well it could be and how to improve it.
"Okay bud, okay." Luna continues this nice moment with her son, though deep down she has a plan. 'I promise you Lincoln, I will find a way for you to practice your song, the best way possible. But how?'
Just then Great Grandma Harriet comes out of the house. "Luna, Lincoln. You have guests by the door."
Lincoln and Luna are confused by this. "Were you expecting anyone today kiddo?"
"No, maybe it's Jordan coming for a short visit, but usually she sends me a text saying that she's coming or asking if I'm occupied and she asked me yesterday if I had any plans and decided to let me be, she said she was going to the park with her friends, and her mom" replied Lincoln.
They then head back into the house and pass by the kitchen and the dining room and then towards the front door. As they open the door, they are shocked to see who it is. "Ronnie Anne? Sid? Mrs. Santiago?"
"Surprise!" yelled Sid. "Wait, were we supposed to say it at the same time?"
"Hey there Lame-o. We planned to call, but Sid said that we should make it a surprise" replied Ronnie Anne. "Also, Bobby wanted to come, but he has some work to do back at the Mercado."
Luna smirks. "Well, I was planning to have Lincoln and also Jordan come by to visit Great Lake City, but I guess this is okay." She then looks to the Santiago Matriarch. "Don't you have work or something?"
"Not at the moment, this is my one week with no work, but I am concerned that they might call me for advice if they mess up" replied Maria. "The last thing I need, is someone back from my work calling me about someone giving birth or having surgery and that they might need some help, or advice."
"Mom, too much info, though I like it" replied Ronnie Anne. "I don't think Linc would wanna hear about it."
"No, it's cool. Just didn't think you guys would be here, so you guys planning to hang out?" asked Lincoln.
"Well, we were thinking about hanging out somewhere where we can skate, Ronnie Anne did her best and now I can skateboard with little to know problems" replied Sid.
"She failed like multiple times and I had to make sure she did her best, and I did get some backup from my other pals, Nikki, Sameer and Casey" replied Ronnie Anne.
"We were wondering if you guys wanted to come to the park with us, it's a nice day for some outdoors time" replied Maria.
"Well, this is something Linc has to decide too" replied Luna. She then looks to her kid. "So, what do you say Linc? Wanna chill at the park with your Great Lakes pals? Jordan is also at the park and chances you'll run into you're other pals."
Lincoln thinks about it. "Yeah, sure. Just let me grab my guitar from the backyard." Lincoln heads to the backyard to grab what he needs.
"So, where the heck is the ghost of the house?" asked Sid.
"Right here." They get startled by the unexpected presence from Great Grandma Harriet. "As always, I know how to make a spooky entrance and I like it."
"Well, it's nice to see you again ma'am and we also like what you guys did around the place" said Ronnie Anne. They look to the Halloween Décor around the inside and outside of the house. "It is October and all, but this seems way too early for some Halloween setup."
"This was all Linc's plan, he wanted the house to look festive early and also bring in that vibe to the other neighbors as well, I mean Mr. Grouse is already doing it" replied Luna. They look outside and see the old geezer setting up some fake spiders onto his porch lamps.
They then head back inside. "Though, we're not planning to carve pumpkins yet, we'll save that for when the time comes and Lincoln has a plan for trick or treating, Luna told me after they talked about it at the park with the other friends in their group."
"Wow. Looks like the man-with-the-plan is still at his work" replied Maria. "So, how is Lincoln doing after his visit to Great Lake City?"
Luna feels a bit uneasy. "I think its best we talk about it when we get to the park." They can tell that something has happened in town, and they know it could be bad when they see Luna act like this.
"Well, whatever happens, maybe you two should talk about it while we talk to Lincoln about what he's been doing around town" replied Sid. "That could clear out the air and make some sense when we chat."
"Huh, not a bad idea Sid" replied Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah, I think that'll work, plus Jordan and her gal pals are there to hang out with you girls and Jesse Rosato is also there and would love the extra mother-type company" replied Luna.
"Well, I am looking forward to meeting Mrs. Rosato and asking about how things have been for her here in town, and also ask if the hospital in Royal Woods is doing ever since I left" replied Maria. "Do you know Dr. Kendrick?"
Luna chuckles. "Know him? Heck, chances he's gonna be the regular doctor when something painful happens to us and he kinda did mention something about you as well, and the McBride's Therapist Doctor Lopez."
Maria chuckles. "Yup, the place must be doing well ever since I left, and I know Lopez as well."
Lincoln then comes back. "Alright, got my notebook and guitar and I am ready to head to the park, let's go guys."
They all head to the loud family Ferrari, while Sid, Ronnie Anne and Maria head to the family van they came in and take off.
Great Grandma Harriet waves goodbye and she heads back inside, but then she hears some meowing sounds from the house. "Oh no, not you again!" She then uses her powers and a broom, mop and vacuum are floating and follow her to the basement. "I swear that meow of yours will be the last!"
(Ketcham Park.)
They arrive at the park and they have already caught up with Jordan and her pals, in which they were fine watching Ronnie Anne and Sid shred through some parts of the park, just as long as they keep to the rules around the place.
"So, I think the next time the grownups are let out for a night, the boys will think twice before pranking me and Carlota again, we sure did make a heck of a team when we pranked them, hard" replied Ronnie Anne as she lands down with her board.
"And the familia is so glad that High n' But isn't in Great Lake City, otherwise things might've gotten a bit too destructive" replied Sid. "How awesome is the place?"
Lincoln chuckles nervously. "Well, to be honest. It's bigger than the Mercado, it has so many free samples, a piano made of gold sitting on the fountain, they peel and skin vegetables for free and they have tons of products I haven't even seen or heard before."
"He's not wrong, that place is so awesome!" replied Jordan. "I now have a new favorite place to shop for stuff."
"Same" replied Jordan's gal pals.
Ronnie Anne and Sid are shocked to see and hear what they just said. "Well, thank goodness it's only here in Royal Woods, because if it did go to Great Lake City, chances Bobby would freak out and try so many things to get the Mercado back into tip top shape and also we might lose so many usual customers which might give my Abuelo a heart attack."
"Well, you're home sure is wild and adventurous, unless you can count out the cat gang, you're Cousin Carl and of course the parrot of the family" replied Kat. "Seriously, that is so much chaos."
"I was feeling like going there one day, but after hearing all the stuff and chaos you went through, no thank you" replied Sadie.
Jordan looks to Sid. "Anyways, how's the Zoo there? And you're family?"
"Doing great, my little sister is still a sass bucket to handle, but she can quite the cutie when it comes to trying to do good stuff and playing around" replied Sid. "And like me, we have the same animal knowledge as our mom, and our dad is still running the GLART of the city and still enjoys it."
"We're actually planning this awesome night time tour for the zoo this Saturday, you guys are welcome to join" replied Ronnie Anne.
Lincoln thinks about this. "Well, that does sound kinda nice, but I'd have to ask my mom and she might come along to keep me safe, the last thing I need is a constant reminder of the…. The former pets I used to know and love."
They all recall that when Lincoln kept wearing the suit, the pets attacked him and didn't even care about who was inside and that scared Lincoln seeing the dog he once knew turn savage.
They know that the zoo might be a bad idea for Lincoln to go to.
Sid then skates by Ronnie Anne and she stops in front of Lincoln and Jordan. "Well, you guys don't have to go to the zoo. We can just hang out elsewhere around the city."
"That does sound like a nice idea, and maybe the gals would wanna tag along as well" replied Jordan.
They think about this, some of them wanna go, while some don't. They do not wanna deal with some little kid who thinks he's cool, but then they think about having their boyfriends tag along.
Ronnie Anne then notices the guitar Lincoln has. "So, what's with the guitar? Planning on some gig later or something?"
Lincoln sure has a lot to tell Ronnie Anne and Sid, from the birthday of his mom, the visit to Leni and the talent show he'll be part of with some others.
Though, letting Ronnie Anne know about this talent show might not be good, since she did have some bad memories involving a stage and a play and falling over and laughed at.
(With the mother's.)
Luna Loud, Maria Santiago and Jesse Rosato are having a lovely conversation, and also with them is Elena D. Pingrey and her baby daughter Lily.
"So, chances Arturo will come by and visit the city, I don't think he told Ronnie Anne and Bobby yet. He wants it to be a surprise and I'm the only one who knows" replied Maria.
"Wow. Looks like someone is looking forward to seeing her former lover once more, but is this going to be an issue with the rest of your family?" asked Jesse.
Maria chuckles nervously. "Well, chances it might. I mean, once they hear about this, my mom won't stop making something special for him, while my dad will probably be upset with him for the whole time and everyone else will start asking him questions about what he did in Peru, either was it's gonna be great and I don't have to be involved in it, because for a week I am going to relax and have the time of my life at a resort luxury spa and hotel, while he handles the kids."
"Nice, let him do the work he was supposed to do while you get the time of your life. Chances I'll do the same when this little flower finally grows up." Elena kisses Lily's forehead, making the baby giggle and hug her mom.
"It's pretty nice to have some other mom's be friends, not like Rita who I don't seem to be in good terms, not after what she did with the old family." Maria realizes what she said. "Oh, sorry Luna."
"No prob. Heck, even I don't want anything to do with her, but when their sentence has been done, Lincoln wants to know how they feel and if they regret so much after all that's happened" replied Luna.
"Lincoln doesn't seem to hold grudges or any sign of hatred, let's hope that when they do come out from their sentence then we can see how things will work out" replied Jesse. "At least Leni seems to be faring well."
"She wants to help others become back to the way they once were, to let them live with their friends, families and loved ones with the rest of society and she's well-known in bay city for it" replied Luna.
Maria is also amazed, she did hear from what Luna said. "Maybe I should go and see how Leni does her work, I could recommend a nurse exchange program and see what Leni is up to and learn from her. And I feel so sorry she has a tumor in her this whole time! Another reason why I resent Lynn Sr and Rita, they didn't even give them proper checkups!"
Luna sighs. "Yeah, but at least that's done and Leni is now doing well once more."
"So, what's this big thing I heard from social media that involves your kid and some trouble?" asked Maria.
Luna was ready to tell her the many problems they had, including when she got furious with Lincoln for lying and not letting her know where he was, and of course the incoming talent show, which suddenly brings memories back to Maria, memories of when Ronnie Anne was on stage.
(Later in the day.)
All of Jordan's friends have went home, and Lincoln, Jordan, Ronnie Anne and Sid go over and they enjoy some ice cream with the other mom's.
"So, tomorrow is when Boy Jordan comes out of suspension right?" asked Ronnie Anne.
Jordan sighs. "Yup, he was one messed up kid to do that to us, nearly hurting Lincoln and Luna, but he was aiming at me."
"Thank god your father set his parents straight and they had to pay for his son turning school property into a weapon" replied Jesse. "That boy is trouble and also horrible."
"At last there are new rules and other changes to the school to take down anyone who is bullying" replied Elena. "I fear for Lily when she needs to go to school there soon, but this little lady will start daycare next year." Elena boops Lily's nose making her giggle as she eats her very first ice cream cone.
This gives Maria the idea to ask to make those kinds of changes to the school at Great Lake City, it could help deal with Carl and his bartering. "Looks like school here in Royal Woods have turned into some kind of personal revenge scheme, with some government style improvements" said Maria. "And what about this Andrew kid?"
"From what we heard, he's gonna be getting heavy duty grounding till the end of November and if course his parents had to pay for all the damage he did to the park" replied Jordan. "All for taking me as his own and hurting Lincoln."
"And I thought Chandler flirting with you was horrible, but that child is the worse" replied Jesse.
"At least thing aren't gonna be bad, for now" replied Sid as she eats her sundae.
Lincoln feels kinda tense hearing that and Luna pulls her kid close to her. They were right, there are going to be so many new trials ahead of them and chances some returning enemies.
"So, what's this we also got word about some lady who was spying on Lincoln?" asked Ronnie Anne. Now that one, that one is gonna make them upset fully. This kinda makes Luna upset, the last thing she wants to hear is about that woman in brown hair and red clothing who snuck into her son's school.
(The Loud House.)
Luna and Lincoln return home and it's already noon, they already said goodbyes to their Great Lake City friends and Jordan and her mom went home and so did Elena and Lily. "Well, I'm gonna go and make dinner. You wanna help out kiddo?" asked Luna.
Lincoln nods. "Sure, I think Great Grandma Harriet deserves some rest from doing so much for us."
Luna is about to open the door, but she sees it creaks open slowly. "What the heck?" She opens the door and see the place is being cleaned up and Great Grandma Harriet is fixing everything.
The ghost then sees them and smiles. "Hello you two, how was the park?"
They both go into the house and look around. "What the heck happened in here?" asked Lincoln. They see some scratch marks and damages to some places and thankfully the aquarium is still intact.
Harriet sighs. "He came back, and you both know who."
This makes Luna upset, and Lincoln feel tense, as if he can still feel the claws of the feline trying to punch through the suit and get to him. Luna sees her son getting worried and she hugs him.
"It's okay Lincoln, it's gonna be okay. That cat is not coming back here, we'll make sure of it." Luna kisses his forehead and she can feel Lincoln trembling from the memory of when the pets attacked him and didn't even know he was in the suit and begging them to stop.
Great Grandma Harriet feels enraged from this. 'That cat comes back, then I'm gonna skin him alive and send his remains to the dump for a guard dog to eat on it! I dare you to come back Cliff!'
A/N: They had a great time hanging out with Ronnie Anne, Sid and Maria and chances they might come back again, and it seems an old animal companion is haunting the grounds of his old home. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
