Thanks to Marvelomac1010 for this idea and concept, about time someone came up with something straight out of the other stories I had. Enjoy folks.
Family of Two.
Chapter 67: ARGGH! You're just troublesome
(Outside of Royal Woods.)
A large van used for TV broadcasting is parked and some people look to the town and the man in the black suit and pants and red tie with blonde short hair smiles. "This is it guys, this is the town we were told about, now all we have to do is meet up with the folks who called us about this, haunting." The man is a show manager named, Archie Ron Vengerman.
Another guy looks to the town and is dressed for some kind of nighttime stuff. "Heck yeah! An actual ghost in a town, or better yet home!" The man is Hunter Specter, the man who is the host of the Academy of Really Good Ghost Hunters, or ARGGH! For Short.
They then get the call from someone. "That must be them" replied Archie. "Hello."
Howard McBride: Hello? Are you here in Royal Woods? We'd really like it if you rushed in and took care of the ghost problem at the house by Franklin avenue, that thing is so scary!
Archie smirks. "Don't worry sir, we'll make sure that ghost is dealt with and thank you again for calling us about this issue." Then someone else speaks on the phone.
Harold McBride: We did what we had to and when that ghost started living in that house, it wasn't going to be easy for us to help the family in there and then we recalled what our son watches and so we called you guys. Can you really handle that ghost and save that family?
Hunter then takes the phone and talks to them. "Don't you worry sir! Hunter Specter is on the hunt and there is no way this ghost is getting away from me!"
Howard: Thank you, we'll be right over soon by the house to see the issue get sorted out and then we can handle another issue on our own.
"Will do sir" replied Archie. He then puts his phone away and goes back to the van with Hunter. "So, what's the house we're dealing with?"
Hunter has the files ready. "Says here the house was once the home of some big family last named La-oods. They were a pretty big family, vut after some random event in the summer, they're now separated and only two members live there. Lincoln and Luna, and she is….. 16?! She's been legally given the role mom to her…. Brother? Wait what?"
Archie checks the file and reads it. "So, this was the big news from summer that was meaningless to me. Meh, all the better for the ratings and publicity, put the house of the small and talked family in Michigan on the show and see where it all goes. We're gonna get so many viewers!"
Hunter then readies his gear. "And let's not forget about that pesky ghost! We gotta take it down and send it outta there! Kinda confuses me why that family didn't call about it."
They then start their engines and all five vans from ARGGH! Drive off to the town, to begin their new episode. All while Archie looks into the story between Lincoln and Luna and what they went through.
The man smirks. 'Very interesting.'
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln puts on his clothes and looks to the mirror, he fixes his hair and smiles. He then looks to his right and he sees the computer he got from yesterday is all setup and looking fine. But what he didn't expect was that the computer came with a laptop and tablet, which he also gets to use.
'Mom really does know what to get and how to make me feel happy. I can play on that thing when I have the time, for now I gotta date to go to.'
He then leaves the room and he sees Great Grandma Harriet coming out of the bathroom. "Hello Lincoln. I was just checking on the house plumbing and making sure it was still in good condition, though there was an opossum that was hiding in the vents and I had to deal with that. I'm gonna be going around the house to look for any signs of an animal break in and deal with it myself. Also, you and Luna have fun today." She then phases through the wall nearby to begin her search.
Lincoln the goes down the stairs and he sees his mom putting on her jacket, he then slides down the railing and Luna sees this and she grabs her kid and they both chuckle and hug each other.
"Good slide and glad I caught you kiddo" replied Luna.
Lincoln smirks and they hug each other. "Well, we're dressed and ready for this day. Also, I wanna thank you again mom, for the gift from yesterday and that awesome day we had."
Luna ruffles his hair and then kisses his forehead. "It was you're birthday and I had to make it special for ya. But the part about Leni being there was something I did not see coming."
"Same here" replied Lincoln as he departs from the hug and then looks sad. "Sure wish she could've stayed longer, I miss her already."
Luna can tell he does miss her and she too misses her. "I miss her too my child, but she has her own choices to make and she wants to go back and finish her own sentence and then when the time is right, she'll be back here and we can see her whenever we want, Okay kiddo?"
Lincoln smiles and he hugs his mom again. "Yeah, you're right and we can always have our monthly visits to her and see what she's up to."
Luna smiles and hugs her kid. "That's the spirit my son. Keep the good attitude and look forward to the better future for all of us. They then separate from the hug. "Now come on, we got some dates waiting for us."
They open the door and see Jordan and Sam are already there. "Whoa! When did you guys get here?" asked Lincoln.
"My mom dropped us both off here for our date and we were about to knock on the door too" replied Jordan. She then goes to Lincoln and hugs him. Lincoln hugs her too. "We're ready for this date, you guys?"
"Dang right we are, let's get going on this awesome double date!" said Lincoln. He then kisses Jordan's cheek.
Luna and Sam smile and awe at this cute sight. They both can imagine the future they might have all together, a Jordacoln thing.
Luna then locks the door and they head for her car. "So, where's Michelle Lewis?" asked Sam.
"Michelle said there's no work today, but instead she's going to Reiningers to help with the renovations to the place" replied Luna. "The whole clothing store will get one wicked makeover and chances the grand reopening is gonna have tons of peeps coming in for some sweet, sweet clothing."
"That's what I'm afraid of now" replied Jordan nervously. "I mean, once that place opens up, all hell is gonna break lose and chances my friends are gonna be part of it, which means I have to be there to help them stop fighting for some clothing against each other and some of the other customers."
"You want me, Lance, Artie and Trent to tag along and help stop it?" asked Lincoln.
"No, no. That's not gonna be necessary Lincoln. I can handle it myself and I don't want you or the other boys getting hurt, plus Lance, Artie and Trent did it once and let me just say it did not end well" replied Jordan who had a slight fearful look.
They all do not wanna know what happened and somewhere Lincoln is feeling bad for his three other friends. "Well, we should get going now. Jean Juan's awaits us" replied Sam.
As they're about to go into the Loud's purple Ferrari. They then see five vans arrive and screech to a halt in front of their home. "What in the heck is this?" asked Jordan. "Also, those vans logos look familiar."
Lincoln also looks closely and he goes wide eyed. "Oh no. Oh heck no! Not these guys."
Luna also knows this and so does Jordan, Sam however is confused. "I don't get it, what the heck am I looking at? What the heck is…. ARGGH?"
Then the main grey van opens and coming out is the host and his camera man. ""Hi everyone! Hunter Specter here and welcome back to another episode of the Academy of Really Good Ghost Hunters, or ARGGH!"
"Today we are in Royal Woods Michigan at Saginaw and we are at the home of the well-known talk of the state, the family of two of the loud house and we got word that there is a powerful spirit hiding here and is terrorizing the folks within! And there they are now!"
Luna, Lincoln, Sam and Jordan stand in front of the house and the man goes towards them. "Hey there kids, we heard all about the whole family thing and we wanna know, how horrified are you two for living in this house with a dreadful ghost?"
Lincoln and Luna are confused. "What dreadful ghost?" asked Lincoln.
"The ghost we got word about" replied Hunter. "We heard there's this wicked ghost who is downright terrifying and has been driving people away from the place just to keep her home and keep other's out! How the heck are you two even living in this place with such an awful being?"
Luna is confused and also insulted. "First off, she's not dangerous and there is a ghost, but she only gets into scary mode when the home or the family is threatened and who the heck told you about this lie?"
"We got it from an anonymous source!" said Hunter.
Then Lincoln sees, not too far from them is a very familiar van. "You mean Howard and Harold McBride?"
They all see the car and it slowly backs away from the scene. Jordan sighs. "You gotta be kidding me. Look, the ghost is not a threat, she was when the old family was here, but ever since Lincoln and Luna have been living their new family life here, the spirit is not a threat and it a distant relative from before."
"And who might you two girls be?" asked Hunter. Why does he still have his serious and positive ghost hunting face on?
"We're the girlfriends and you guys are trespassing and being very rude" said Sam.
"Yeah, and I don't watch you're show anymore. I used to think it was cool when I was ten, but then I looked closely and saw the ghosts you've been battling were all fake and so I just watched it for the small blunders you have and when they don't show it, I just watch something else. Like Ghost Labs, Celebrity Ghost Stories, The Haunting of, My Ghost Stories and Paranormal Witness. They're the real deal and I don't watch it just for the scares, I watch them for the backstory of the life of that said spirit and what they went through" replied Lincoln.
Hunter is at a loss for words. A kid who was once the fan of his show is now seeking the true stories of actual ghost series that are for historic and less on action, and slightly into the creepy. "Well, what about the ghost in your home? Surely it must be harming the two of you!"
"Nope" replied Luna. "Her name is Great Grandma Harriet and we have tons of friends who have come here and seen her and she's just really helpful and protective. Anyone who messes with the family and home have to deal with her and she can go conjuring on anyone faster than that weird doll Annabelle does."
"She's not wrong." They see Mr. Grouse go to them. "That ghost was a shocker at first, but then I got used to her sudden appearance and we're friends. Heck, she even understands the standards of staying at the home you were born in, like me. Because there is no ding dang way am I going to some retirement home!"
"They're right." Sandra Merris crosses the street. "Harriet owns this house and she let the family she knows stay in it. The old louds failed to be the family united and stood in each other's shadows and casted out Lincoln, and now she gives refuge to the only family she truly loves and will protect them from anyone, and at times take revenge which is not easy to get by."
Archie in the van did not like where this was going. A ghost who is not much of a threat, a family who supports each other and the ghost, a kid who points out the fake in their show and the whole neighborhood voicing out the truth.
Then Archie comes out. "People, people. Let's not make this too much of a hassle. Now we are on a schedule and still live and we came here to take down this ghost and save this home from its treachery. So, let's do that and get to whatever you all say, out of context."
Lincoln did not like this man. "I know you're types. The big time all you want is to be famous and rich kind of people. I knew this show was rigged and I knew that they would do anything to get ratings, it's always like that with TV shows and sure as heck we have a housemate who is straying away from that sick and twisted path."
"This is our home and the ghost you're all going after is not a threat and sure as heck is not an evil being you can just blame on. She's not like the ghosts in movies who are evil, she has her own book of spells to keep this family safe and together, she's kind and truly understanding and she can be able to touch people to show them how much she cares and she is family and we do not turn down family!"
"The former louds…. They made their choice many months ago, and they're paying the price for what they did, but sure as heck we're not gonna bail and leave the one other family we still have and I don't just mean my grandfather. Great Grandma Harriet is no demon, and no insidious creature of the ethereal plain. She just wants to be there to keep the family together and safe and keep those who harm them, back into the messed up place where they come from and this show is messed up!"
Hunter had no words to say and the camera is still rolling and the crew are confused and yet touched. The camera does see the image of the ghost by the window who is smiling and has some tears going down her face.
Hunter sees the ghost and is shocked. "Whoa!"
Luna, Sam and Jordan are happy to what Lincoln just said, they know Harriet would've loved this too, and she does love it.
"We're not gonna let you fakers come in here and ruin our home with this dumb fake ghost show, also its racist to other ghosts to lock them in some kind of containment device that looks like common vacuum cleaner" replied Lincoln.
Jordan and Sam see the things Hunter has. "That looks like the one my mom uses" replied Sam. "Just painted to look different, and are those stickers?"
Lincoln looks to Hunter. "I know you wanna see a ghost, but hunting them is just mean and cruel, not all ghosts are bad. If there is a powerful ghost who won't leave because they have dark intentions then get some people who are spiritual and know what they're doing."
"Guys like you should just stick to EVP's and EMF's and then figure out what the ghost wants and why they remain, the best way to understand them is to talk to them and maybe you can give them some peace and happiness before they return to the afterlife and spend their long rest there."
Hunter is touched by this, and he looks back at all the times he dreamed of being a ghost hunter, and then thinks about this and realizes. "This is…. This is wrong. What the heck am I doing?"
Lincoln then looks to the manager of the show. "Stay away from our home and stay away from our great grandma you racist upper class bully!" They all gasp hearing this. He stood up to someone who is in the showbiz, like how Luna stood up to Michelle Lewis.
Archie did not like how this kid was talking back to him. The man scoffs. "No wonder why you were dubbed bad luck."
This makes everyone gasp in shock. Lincoln is hurt inside hearing that. "What? What did you just say?"
Archie knew he had this kid. "You heard me, you're bad luck. The very reason why the family put you in that suit. You were better off inside of it and not talking back to the big kids like me, you're a jinx who ruins things, like this show." But then he gets punched in the face by Luna.
He gets back up and then Luna grabs the camera and hits him with it, Luna then slams the man's face onto the van and she kicks him in the back.
Archie gets up and tries to fight back, but then Luna dodges and she punches him in the face again. Seeing this and hearing what he said, is now making Lincoln angry and he looks to the man. "I am not bad luck Lynn!"
Lincoln tackles the man to his chest and he begins to punch the man's face repeatedly. Archie tries to get him off, but Lincoln grabs his hair and pulls on it and then he punches the man again and then gets up and kicks him in the groin.
Lincoln pants and looks to the manager in pain. "I dare you to say that to me again! I dare you! Come here!" Luna then grabs Lincoln away from him.
"Lincoln, it's over! It's done, that's enough!" Luna does her best to hold off her son who for some reason is getting kinda stronger. Jordan and Sam also help out.
Archie gets up and sees blood from his mouth. "You people are crazy! It's you to who should be locked up and put into some fucked up suit!" The camera is still running. "How long has that been running?"
"The whole time!" He turns around and Harriet grabs the man and she slams him to the car and she shows him her eyes and Archie screams like a little girl in horror as his worst fear is revealed to him.
Hunter and the camera crew back up, they have never in their life seen a ghost do this. Harriet then drops the man who is now pale and horrified. "All of you. Stay away from my family and don't come back, or I will send all of you to hell!"
Hunter and the crew nod and they grab the man and go back into the van and drive off. Hunter needed to think about all of this, he was thinking of quitting and starting a different kind of show.
Harriet then turns around and she sees Lincoln stops freaking out in anger and he starts to cry. "I'm not bad luck. I'm not bad luck. I'm not bad luck." Luna then comforts her son and also sheds some tears.
"Momma, I'm not bad luck! I'm not!" He cries into her chest and Luna does her best to calm her crying son. Sam, Jordan and the others also go over to comfort him, his memories are coming back and bringing in tons of emotional pain.
Harriet is seething in rage, but she goes over and she also comforts Lincoln. 'People who do this, will pay dearly and I will make sure they never come back to the world of the living. I must summon something to take down that manager, for Lincoln's sake.'
Harold and Howard see this from the distance and they now see that they're plan has made things worst and Lincoln and the others know they were the ones who sent the ghost hunting crew. They were in deep trouble to everyone.
The McBride's then see Luna and Harriet looking to them in anger. "Hare bear, we have to go. Now!" said Howard. They're about to leave, but then police cars surround them and others take chase to the ARGGH! Crew who are leaving. They were in seriously big trouble.
But unknown to all of them, the camera Luna used to beat the man up is still running and sees all of this. All of Michigan and the country now sees and knows, and even those who watch the show from many places. From prisons to rehabilitation centers.
At a house not too far, a little Goth girl is shocked and sheds tears.
At a juvenile detention center, a brunette ponytail girl is crying on her bed after seeing this. 'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm sorry Lincoln. You're not bad luck! You're not! I'm sorry!'
Yup, everyone is seeing this.
A/N: Thanks again to Marvelomac1010 for this idea and concept and things are looking pretty messed up and it'll be hard for anyone to deal with, now that they know about the ghost living in the loud house. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
