This chapter is gonna have some hard things at hand, we do recall there were tourists who saw what happened and so let's see what else happens next with them as they might encounter more of these people. Enjoy folks.
Family of Two.
Chapter 70: Outsiders invading School.
(Royal Woods Grade school.)
Lincoln arrives on his bike and he lets it lean onto the parking area and he makes sure it's chained. He sighs and he puts his hands into his pockets and he walks towards the school, he then sees Lucy also headed to the school and not looking happy. "Hey Luce."
Lucy looks to Lincoln. "Hello Lincoln, sigh. This day is not gonna go so well for any of us."
"Really? What happened to you?" asked Lincoln.
"Sigh, I was watching Vampires of Melancholia and they showed this new character, the new character doesn't even look so depressing or even dark and brooding. He seems like someone Lori and Leni would love and he is such a nuisance to the show and making it horrible for viewers such as me and the Morticians Club" replied Lucy.
Lincoln had no clue what to make of this or even say something about a show he has no interest in. "Okay. Well, if the rest of the club is feeling the same issue, then maybe you can ask me for some advice and see where it goes from there."
"Thanks Lincoln, but I think I can handle this on my own. I have a plan, I just need to see if we can make it work. Anyway, what happened to you? Why are you feeling like this?" asked Lucy.
Lincoln looks down and feels uneasy. "Last night, I woke up to get some glass of water and then I heard the doorbell ring. I was as confused as to who the heck would come and see us at night and so I opened the door and I saw these two people in night time gear and stuff and they asked if they can camp at our front yard."
"I thought they were tourists who wanted to see our Great Grandma Harriet and so I asked them and it turns out they're not. They were just some star watchers for a website about astronomy who were looking for a nice spot to see the meteor shower, so I told them to go to Willows peak side near Tall Timbers Creek since Zach always says he has a good view for star gazing there."
"The two people thanked me and went on their way, and then they told me that there are a couple of tents near the house and I went to see and they were tourists who started asking me questions and so I pushed the button to my phone and the cops showed up and chased them off and it turns out they weren't tourists, but idiots who are fans of the now gone show, ARGGH!"
"They are so annoying, they think they can come to our home and just ruin the peace?! From tourists, and now fans of that stupid fake ghost show! I hate those kinds of people, they have no respect for privacy!"
Lucy can tell he is mad. "Kinda like Lisa?"
Lincoln sighs and he calms down. "Yeah, kinda like Lisa. I don't even know what to do anymore, I just hope the Mayor can fix this issue, before it gets out of hand and ruins the life mom and I have and this will escalate to the law coming in and taking action."
"We'll help you Lincoln" said Liam. They see Lincoln's friends come towards him.
"We know all about the issue and we're gonna back you up. Because no one does that to our friend" said Stella.
"They mess with one of us, then they mess with all of us" replied Zach. "Also, last night I met those guys you said when I was also checking out the meteor shower with my parents and they seem pretty cool and are big fans of aliens and stuff."
"Zach, this isn't about aliens right now. WE have to deal with the issue of tourists and other dumb amateur ghost hunters" replied Rusty.
Jordan goes to Lincoln and hugs him. "Sorry you have to deal with those kinds of people, this seems way worse than some enemies coming for you." Lincoln then hugs Jordan and feels like breaking down, but his mom is not there and he stands strong.
Then Clyde goes towards him. "Lincoln." Lincoln and Jordan break the hug and they let Clyde speak. "I am so, so sorry about what happened with what my dad's did. I don't know what the heck they were even thinking and I made sure I talked to them and was in agreement that if they do this kinda stuff again, then I will…. I will disown them for going too far with their meddling with you and Luna. I won't let them ruin the peace you two have and sure as heck they are not gonna be telling me what to do with their dumb rules and safety junk!"
Lincoln and the others are shocked, Clyde is willing to go through getting separated from his dad's to keep the peace within the Family of Two.
"Wow. Thanks Clyde, though I don't want you to feel miserable without your dads" said Lincoln. "They're your family."
"Yeah, but I know that they're going too far, like when the loud parents did the same thing and I would be better off with a family who would treat me like a normal kid and not some kid they can just stuff into a bubble for safety and junk" replied Clyde. "They should've known better and yet they act like the complete total counterparts of Lynn Sr and Rita."
They look to Christina if this sounds logical. "He makes a good point, and stop looking at me for advice, just because I'm starting to become the smarter kid in the class!"
Lincoln then shakes hands with Clyde. "Whatever happens Clyde, the help is appreciated and I'll be sure to tell my mom and if something does come up, then we got you're back and get some more backup from the Detectives. We're still best friends Clyde, always."
They then hear the sound of the bell ring. "Well, time for class" said Jordan.
Lincoln then hugs Lucy and they both go their separate ways and they high five Polly who is the hall monitor for the week, and they head off to class.
They arrive to Mrs. Johnsons' Classroom and she begins their lesson on the History of the Galapagos Islands.
Just then Lincoln looks to the window and he sees some people who are looking for him, these people have some homemade junked up ghost tracking gear and are wearing some ARGGH! Merchandise on them and then one of them sees Lincoln and is goin to the window.
Lincoln then looks to the teacher. "Mrs. Johnson, can we have a film showing instead?"
Agnes is confused, but she looks out the window and sees someone waving at them and looking to Lincoln and holding some kind of device and the others see this and are all annoyed.
The teacher looks to Lincoln. "I think that's a splendid idea Lincoln. Dennis, Patrick, get the lights and place bring down the curtains please."
Dennis and Patrick nod, they both turn off the lights and close the curtains which makes the people outside confused. They then put up the projector and Clyde places in the film of the Galapagos Islands and its history and everyone enjoys watching it.
All at the same time they watch, Mrs. Johnson can tell that Lincoln is troubled because of those people, so she uses her phone to contact Principal Huggins to deal with this issue, before it gets out of hand.
(Cafeteria.)
At lunch, Lincoln sits with his friends and they all begin to trade lunches. Clyde has his whistle and he directs snack trade traffic. "Alright, so who wants to make the trade first?"
Everyone begins to trade, but no one would trade with Zach and his Tuna kit. Yup, it's from his mom again. Then Stella looks to Lincoln who eats his breakfast sandwich. "Lincoln, you feeling okay?"
They all look to Lincoln and felt concerned about him, they know what he's feeling and they feel bad for him. "You wanna trade for my buffalo chips man?" asked Rusty.
Lincoln doesn't respond and continues to eat his sandwich, so they all remain silent and continue with their lunch, but then they hear someone calling out to him and someone from outside goes to the window.
A man with long blonde hair with a camera on his forehead and has the bracelet with the name of ARGGH! A white shirt, black sweater and blue jeans with black shoes. "Hey! You that kid from the TV days ago?"
All the kids see the man and then they look to Lincoln who doesn't respond. "Hey kid, we were wondering if we can come with you to your place. We wanna see the ghost and also catch some stuff for some better ghost shows. We're actually planning on making one ourselves."
Lincoln doesn't respond and continues eating, then five people arrive to the window and they too start asking him some stuff and some of them have their own homemade ghost detecting gear which just annoys everyone.
"We wanna know if that said ghost in your house has seen the afterlife and can talk to the lost people from the other world. We wanna know if she can do that."
"You think some of her spiritual energies is on you? We wanna run some scans and tests to be sure."
"How old was she when she died and what would her age be now? Who was her lover back then?"
Lincoln feels like anger within him, and he feels like attacking those people and he starts to shed some tears as he eats. Jordan holds his hands and everyone gets ready to chase these people away, but then some bats come into the cafeteria and swarm the crowd outside.
The crowd outside start to scatter and some of the bats bite onto them and suck some of their blood and the people go into panic and run off. Lincoln sees this and is confused, and soon the swarm of bats is gone and they all go back to the shoulders of the Young Morticians Club and with them is Principal Huggins.
"Well done children and good job too. Let's hope they don't come back again" replied Huggins.
"We did what we had to, also those idiots are mocking the meaning of understanding the people who have passed away" replied Haiku.
"Also, we needed these guys to do something as well." Lucy and the Goth kids place notes onto the legs of the bracelets and they fly off. "No biting Fangs."
Lincoln smiles seeing this. "Thanks guys."
"We did what we had to, they were nothing more than good for nothing interlopers who do not understand what we have all seen and we see a spirit who can truly care and show understanding" replied Bartholomew.
Everyone else cheers for the Young Morticians Club, but then Lucy silences them. "Please, slow claps are welcomed." They're all confused and they see Lincoln slow clap and so they all do the same, they then realize these are Goth kids and a cheer is not what they seek, but something in the deep dark poetry club cheering.
But even with what they did, Lincoln can tell deep down, this is not over. Something else will come up and he has to be prepared for whatever comes. Everyone then goes back to eating.
Dennis and Patrick can see the saddened expression from Lincoln, then Dennis has an idea. "Dude, I think I know how we can help Lincoln."
"Okay, what is it?" asked Patrick as he eats his pie. Dennis then whispers to his friend his plan. "Oh, now this is gonna be an awesome plan and sure as heck this will help keep Lincoln safe." They then high five each other and then go back to eating, they're gonna need some clothing from the theater room.
(After School.)
Lincoln walks out of the school and he says his goodbye to his friends, then Jordan walks with him. "You gonna meet up with your mom later?"
Lincoln sighs. "Possibly, chances we're gonna meet at the mall or go to the park or she might come here to pick me up so we can go somewhere where we can both calm our minds from everything that's happened."
Jordan knows that these people won't leave him alone and chances the same goes for Luna as well. They needed to stop this before it gets out of hand and puts the boys mind into depression and possibly, he will snap and lash out at those people who are invading the privacy of his family.
They both exit the school and they see Dennis and Patrick wearing black suits and shades. "What the heck are you guys doing?" asked Lincoln.
"Hey Linc, we knew you didn't like the whole issue with those stupid fans of ARGGH! So, we decided to help act as your bodyguards" said Dennis.
"We ain't gonna let anyone get through and make you into a mess, also we still owe you for helping us change into better kids" replied Patrick. "Your advice is helpful and my parents are so proud of me man."
Lincoln is about to say something, but then he sees they're right. He could use some help and protection from annoying tourists and ARGGH! Fans. "Okay, okay. Just try not to go overboard on this protection thing."
"We know what to do Lincoln, we got your back" said Patrick. They then escort Lincoln and Jordan to their bikes.
"You can tag along if you want Jordan" replied Lincoln.
"Well of course I am, the one thing your mom would want is someone she knows and can trust to be there to keep an eye on you and make sure nothing goes wrong, recall that incident with Andrew?" said Jordan.
Lincoln smirks. "Yup, that was pretty awesome and it made you more wicked cool than taking down a lot at dodge ball." They both go to their bikes and are about to ride them, but then they see some tourists come out of a bus that was just painted on and they all see Lincoln.
"That's him, that's the kid!" They all start rushing towards Lincoln with their cameras ready and many questions to ask. Dennis and Patrick get ready to take in the full onslaught of this crowd to keep Lincoln away from them, they know this will hurt but it will be worth it.
The bus driver who is a con starts counting the cash he got and cares little for the boy and what the others will do, and just as they are about to go towards Lincoln, one of the tourists gets tazed and drops to the ground and all of them see Luna Loud, angry and armed with two tasers.
"You stay the hell away from my kid, or I will fire more!" Luna then shows that underneath her jacket she has more taser guns and they are all armed and loaded. She then drops her used up tasers and pulls out a new pair. "Make your moves reindeer games!"
The tourist's backup from this and the bus driver tries to drive away, but then the bus is struck by an armored truck and it has spikes to the front keeping the bus from leaving.
Then a helicopter arrives and the National Guard has come. The tourists all put their arms in the air and say they're innocent and the man who conned them tries to bail, but he's tased by Luna and then Detective StoneHeart cuffs him.
The tourists are then loaded into the back of another armored van and they send the bus away, they will be sent back home and some of these people aren't from America.
Luna then goes to Lincoln and she hugs him. "Are you alright kiddo?"
"I am, what the heck just happened?" asked Lincoln.
They then depart from the hug. "Let's just say they did it and now we don't have to worry about anyone who wants to come and ruin the family we have, the whole thing is gonna be set straight and they made some calls and soon Mayor Davis will make it official tomorrow." Luna then hugs Lincoln again and he hugs her.
Everyone else is shocked at what just happened, they just took down a whole bus of people and with the might of some soldiers and cops. Katherine Mulligan is now on the scene and then asks questions to the tourists who came here and now they don't wanna be seen on camera, but to the news reporter, she wants them to feel what it's like.
Soon everyone goes home and all the vehicles drive away. Luna helps load Lincoln and Jordan's bikes into the back of her car. "Well, that was too much of a day for the both of us" said Luna.
Lincoln then asks. "Mom, what happened to you at school?"
Luna and the two kids go into her car and she tells them.
"Everything seemed alright and junk, but then the halls had some random peeps who all were checking the place for ghostly stuff and then they all saw me and wanted to ask some questions, but then came the football jocks who took them down and then kicked them out and for good measure some cops came to help keep the random dorks from coming."
"I thought it was all over, then some tourists were walking down the halls and with this idiot who was leading them and I called him and his con out and he tried to run, then Sam along with Sully and Mazzy took him down and the tourists ran off to this bus, the very same bus that came here."
"I knew they would come for you next, so I called Mayor Davis and at the same time she wanted to tell me that the National Guard has been called in to stop this madness and so they did and now we can try to rest easy as they take down every false tourist division around town."
"What is the mayor's big announcement?" asked Jordan.
"No clue, but it could change everything and put some good word into the idiots outside of Royal Woods" replied Luna. "We have to wait tomorrow and also we got a call that some people tried to break into the house and they ended up running away from something evil."
Lincoln smirks. "Great Grandma Harriet, always count on her to help make things right."
Luna smirks. "Come on dudes, let's how Great Grandma's day was." They then drive off back to the loud house. "Also, what the heck was with the swarm of bats flying to one direction?"
A/N: Whatever Mayor Davis has planned might spell disaster for those who run tourist businesses, but necessary to deal with con tourist agencies in town and this chapter is also in par with the episode "Fandom Pains" Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
