This is where Lincoln and Simon bond and let's hope they don't do any trouble as they spend the night together, while Luna and Sam go on their gig. Enjoy reading folks.
Family of Two.
Chapter 75: Babysitting Simon.
(Nighttime, the Loud House.)
Lincoln walks down from the stairs and he heads to the living room. "Okay, so Simon is coming over for the night and everything here is set and ready for me to keep an eye on him. This is like a sleepover, but it's just me and Simon, and also Great Grandma Harriet."
The ghost arrives with two bowls of popcorn. "Thank you for mentioning me, also I am not gonna be here tomorrow. I have somewhere to be that involves an old hideout of mine that needs to be checked on."
Lincoln takes one of the bowls of popcorn and he places it onto the table next to the sodas. "How many secret hideouts did you have back then and how come no one else has found them?"
"These places are hidden and there are approximately 200 of these locations somewhere within and outside of Royal Woods and no one knows where they are. I have to go and check on them every once and a while to see if they have been disturbed or something has been stolen, perhaps when the time is right then I will let you and Luna come and see these places" replied Great Grandma Harriet.
"Cool" replied Lincoln. They then see Michelle come out of her room and she is dressed in a red shirt, black jacket and jeans and has an overnight bag. "Hey Michelle, off to your friends place?"
"Yes I am, I'll be back by tomorrow. You and Simon have fun tonight, bye guys." Michelle walks out the door and she heads to her Ferrari and she drives off.
"Is she still being greeted and treated with so much respect from everyone in town?" asked Great Grandma Harriet.
"Yeah, she still is, but the folks know not to bother her and just treat her like she's everyone else and she doesn't wanna be given so much fame and fortune and she's smart enough to let it go over her head too" replied Lincoln.
Luna's car then arrives and coming out is Luna, Sam and Simon and of course Sam has Simon's overnight bag. "Lincoln!" Simon runs towards Lincoln and hugs him. "This is gonna be so awesome, you and me hanging out tonight and doing all sorts of fun."
Lincoln smiles and hugs him too. "Nice to see you to buddy, we're gonna be spending the night with what I have planned." He then looks to Sam. "I can keep an eye on him and with Great Grandma Harriet's help too."
Sam smiles. "We know you got this and thanks for accepting this job to babysit Simon."
Lincoln smirks. "No problem, I know you and mom have a gig to go to and it's also a living. Plus, it's nice to do some bonding moments with this little chubby gaming bunny." Lincoln ruffles Simon's hair and Simon chuckles.
Sam smirks and she goes over and hugs Simon. "Listen to Lincoln, and do not cause any trouble. We don't wanna call mom and dad while they're out on their wedding anniversary date."
Simon nods. "Don't worry Sam, I won't do anything wrong and I'll make sure I do listen to Lincoln. Plus, this is gonna be so cool to hang out with the best big brother I look up to. Even though we're not related, I still see you as my big brother."
Lincoln is touched by this, Luna then goes over and hugs her kid. "Have fun at the gig mom, I know you and Sam can show them just how wicked you guys are as s duet."
Luna kisses his forehead. "Have fun tonight and stay safe, stick together and don't cause any trouble. But I know that you can be responsible in the face of many things."
They then depart from the hug and Luna and Sam head back to Luna's car. "See you guys later, and remember to get some sleep when ten o'clock nears!" said Sam. They then drive off to their gig, while Lincoln and Simon wave goodbye to them.
"Well, time to go inside and have some fun and we can start with some video games" replied Lincoln.
"Cool! I got this new game that I wanna try, and sure as heck it'll be so awesome!" said Simon. He then goes into the house, with Lincoln and Great Grandma Harriet following.
"He reminds me of you, back when you were around 8 years old as he is" replied Great Grandma Harriet.
Lincoln smirks. "Was I always this excited though?"
Great Grandma Harriet recalls. "Only sometimes, at most times you try your best to go around the house and try to be responsible and keep an eye on Lucy, Lana and Lola. Whenever your sisters was around, you'd ask them for some advice and they would try to help you, even though you say you got it all covered and just need some advice. You wanted to show that you were a bug boy and that you can do as much responsibility as the others do, and that's where the Man-with-the-plan came from."
Lincoln chuckles. "Wow. That does sound like me, you have seen so much from us haven't you Great Grandma?"
Great Grandma Harriet nods. "I have been around for a long, long time and so I have seen everything that has happened, including the day you came into the house, truth be told you were the one who saw me first, before Lucy ever could."
Lincoln is shocked to hear this. "Wait what? I did?"
Great Grandma Harriet nods. "You're imaginary friend Bun-Bun, was me. I was there to keep you company when no one else was around, but I would back off and let Luna do what she does when you needed comfort or someone to play with, eventually I drifted away from you when you got the stuffed rabbit and named him…"
"Bun-Bun, huh. So that's why I like to talk to him, I guess the inner thoughts of baby me are still in here and still recall everything, well almost everything from the past. Sure wish Bun-Bun was still around, but I know he's in good hands, what matters is that I still have my friends and family and the one I used to call bun-bun" replied Lincoln.
Great Grandma Harriet snickers. "Please do not call me Bun-Bun, it's weird to hear it from you since you're 12 years old now, also it would be super embarrassing if you called me that, embarrassing for the two of us."
Lincoln chuckles. "Trust me, I ain't gonna call you that." He then goes over to Simon and sees him put the game in. "Hey bud, so what's the game?"
"Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! We can play in two players and even fight A.I's in a free for all battle. You want in?" asked Simon.
Lincoln grabs the controller to player two. "Let's rock it kid." They both begin to play, with Simon picking Minecraft Steve and Lincoln choosing Bowser.
Great Grandma Harriet smiles at this and she walks back upstairs, then she gets a text from her phone. Yeah that's right, this ghost has a phone now! With the account: Ghosts33sU. She got this phone a day after the whole court victory and so she has made her own account and has managed to use her phone for when she needs it the most, she tried to take as selfie, but all she got was the couch.
Harriet looks to her phone and she sees the text. 'Huh, it's from Lucy, I wonder what does she want tonight?'
Lucy: If you're feeling like it, I spoke alongside the young morticians club and they all want to hang out with you. How would you feel about a Sleep over at my place along with the Young Morticians Club? It would be a true honor to have someone like you be part of what we do. We could also use some advice when it comes to speaking to our deceased ones.
Great Grandma Harriet smirks and she sends a text back to her: Count me in little miss Gothic and spooky.
Lincoln and Simon keep playing, then Lincoln looks to Simon and sees how much fun he's having. He then recalls a memory that brought him into video games. 'Lori, he was the one who showed me video gaming and she was the one who would do her best to make sure I wasn't getting into trouble. Leni would have fun times with me, Luan would try to cheer me up, Lori was he responsible one and Luna was always there for comfort and some learning.'
Lincoln then decides on something. 'We have to visit one of them and I know who we should visit first.' Lincoln then goes back to playing with Simon, he can talk to his mom when this is all over.
They both go back to some fun and games with the new video game and this is just the beginning. Lincoln has tons more things for them to do, and one of them is movie night and no it's not a scary movie.

Luna and Sam are both backstage and they are getting ready. "So, we start with the song I made, and then the two songs you came up with. This is gonna be something that will surely make this gig one to remember" replied Luna.
Sam tunes her guitar and then she looks to the lyric notebook. "The heck it is, we got ourselves a crowd and some familiar faces too. This is gonna be awesome."
Luna then thinks about something. "Hey Sam, I think I know what to do for tomorrow, for Linc and myself."
Sam looks to Luna. "Sure what is it?"
Luna knows this is not gonna end well. "I think Linc and I need to go and see how the first born is doing."
Sam feels like dripping her guitar and she goes wide eyed, but she doesn't drop her guitar. She then saps out of it. "Wow. Did not see that one coming, are you sure about that Lunes? Going to go and see what Lori's up to?"
Luna nods. "Yeah, I wanna see how Lori is up to and for some reason, I can feel like Lincoln knows as well and might be in agreement with it. What do you think babe?"
Sam goes over and she kisses Luna's cheek. "Whatever you choose is up to you, but also have to talk to Lincoln about this to make it truly happen. I know it'll be tough, but not for the two of you and mostly for Lori. She has to be feeling so much regret for what happened at the court."
Luna nods. "Yeah, that is true and I know she would wanna talk to us to get some things off her chest, and surely the best way is to see her, face-to-face. Alright, I'm gonna talk to Lincoln after this gig and see if he wants to go and see Lori."
Sam smiles and she offers her hand to Luna. "That's the Luna I know, but before that does happen. You ready for this babe?"
Luna accepts the hand and she gets up with her guitar in hand. "You know it Sammy baby."
They then hear the sound of their names being announced by the owner. "Well, looks like we're up" said Sam. "Time to show them what kind of love we do when it comes to making goof music and beats."
"Then let's go and make some of that musical magic Sammy!" said Luna. They both walk out the backstage and they wave to the clapping crowd and then they sit on the stools and begin to perform their duet songs.
Everyone takes in the soothing and romantic songs that are truly filled with passion, among the patrons of the place are Sully and Mazzy. They smile seeing Luna and Sam enjoying themselves.
Sully and Mazzy have been having it hard being a duo with their rock and roll songs and gigs. They don't get much or even do their best, they have a hard time when it comes to song making and they have to deal with organizing the whole site of their performance to look good.
They feel like they need the band to come back together, but they know it's not they're call. It's Luna's and they're happy to see Luna enjoying this moment, they know they screwed up months ago with Lincoln at Banger's n' Mosh and that it will be a long, long time for Luna to fully trust them again. But they'll be patient and let Luna, Sam and Lincoln have these moments.
Also there at the restaurant are Benny and Maggie, Ruby and Spencer, Liam and Tabby and of course Pop-pop and Myrtle.
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln smiles at the movie they're watching. After ten rounds at Super smash Bros. they then played some racing game called "Obliteracers" and after that they watched the Star Wars Film, from episode 4 to 6 and it's now the ending.
Lincoln smiles seeing the nice ending to the film, he then looks to his right and he sees Simon is fast asleep and leaning onto him. Lincoln then lets him lay onto a pillow and he places a blanket over the sleeping 8 year old.
Lincoln looks to the clock. 'Huh, we made it close to past ten and he fell asleep on his own.' He then looks to Simon and smiles at the sleeping boy. "Sweet dreams buddy." He then goes to the DVD player and he gets the movie out and then he turns off the TV and the main lights and lets the nearby lamp on.
Lincoln then lays onto the other side of the couch and he thinks about what he should say to his mom. 'What would mom say if I told her my plan for us to go and see Lori?' Then the door opens and he smiles seeing who it is, Luna and Sam.
The two teens spot Simon asleep and Lincoln on the couch and waving at them. "We had a fun time and Simon passed out."
Sam goes over and she picks up Simon. "Thanks guys, and thanks for letting us stay here for the night too."
Luna smiles. "Take your little bro upstairs. Linc and I need to talk, and don't forget to get yourself changed for the night, some of your clothes are in my closet for ya."
Sam nods and she heads upstairs while carrying her sleeping chubby little brother. What did Luna mean? Well, incase Sam does sleepover, some of Sam's clothes are there.
Luna sits at the arm chair and Lincoln joins her, he leans his head onto her shoulder and both of them have something to tell to the other.
"We have to go and see Lori tomorrow."
"What?"
"Wait, you wanna go and see Lori tomorrow?"
They are both shocked they just said all of that at the same time and this makes them laugh a bit. "Like mother like son huh?" asked Lincoln.
Luna pulls Lincoln close to her and she kisses his forehead. "Yup, we both had the same idea and now we know what to do tomorrow. You feeling okay with this idea little dude?"
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, I do. Why? Because I wanna know how Lori feels. How she feels after what she did to me….. To us, to the family which is now scattered and shattered. She's the eldest among us and we have to see her next, Leni would want us to go and see her and find out what she has to say."
Luna then hugs her son and lets him sit on her lap. "Whatever happens tomorrow bud, we're both gonna get through it and we're both gonna see what the eldest has to say. But we both know that deep down, Lori is feeling so much regret and we need to know what else is going on with her and how she's handling her time in Juvie, after the visit then we decide who to see next. Okay kiddo?"
Lincoln yawns. "Okay mom, okay." Lincoln then rests his head on Luna's chest and he falls asleep.
Luna smiles at this and she pulls him close to her and she kisses his forehead and she snuggles closer to her son. She then decides to get up and carry him to the couch and they both lay down. Luna then watches as her son is next to her and not letting go.
"Goodnight Linky, see you tomorrow where we're we will find out what happens next."
Luna kisses his cheek and she too drifts off to sleep.
From the stairs Sam sees this and she's in her sleeping clothes and she smiles. 'Looks like they're in an agreement, which means we have to make sure that they'll be fine when they go and see Lori tomorrow. I hope things won't go so bad.'
Sam then heads back upstairs to get some sleep, unknown to her that Great Grandma Harriet heard all of this and is worried. 'Things could go wrong when they see Lori, I cannot let harm come to them. Everyone knows of my existence and the fact we stopped all fake tourisms from conmen, I am not going to let harm come to them.'
Harriet then realizes. 'Luna will want me to stay here and keep an eye on the house. How am I to help them, I know they'll call me, but what if something goes wrong and they can't call me?'
Harriet then has an idea and she knows just the person to help keep an eye on them. She thinks of one name. 'Guardian.'
A/N: Someone gave me this idea, but it was months ago and I totally forgot, so whoever gave me this idea, thank you very much and next chapter is when they visit the first born of the family, Lori Marie Loud.
