The date for this is on October 30, which I would now mark as Lucy's Birthday. So, let's see how this goes. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.

Family of Two.

Chapter 80: Happy B-Day Luce Change.

(Shapiro Residence.)

The home of the Shapiro family has guests coming in, the guests are all Goth kids and some are teenagers or Emo' tweens and all of them are good friends of Maggie and Lucy and in front of the house at the front yard is what looks like some kind of setup for something big for Halloween.

Today is the birthday of the adopted 8 year old and now 9 year old daughter of the family, Lucy Shapiro. The former sister of the louds and is a total Goth in nature, except when she needs a break from the darkness.

A purple Ferrari pulls up and coming out is Lincoln, Luna and Michelle Lewis. Oh, and Great Grandma Harriet also comes out and looks to the place. "I've never been to where Lucy has lived."

"I thought you had a sleepover at her place last time?" asked Luna.

"We did have one, but it was held at her friend, Haiku's home. We have never held it here because Maggie had to have her own sleepover" replied Great Grandma Harriet. "Also, someone is coming."

They all see the woman who is the mother of Maggie and Lucy. "Hi guys, welcome to our home. You know me as Marcy Shapiro and you all look ready for today."

"We are ma'am, is Luc home?" asked Lincoln.

"Why yes she is, she's at the backyard with all of her friends and she is looking forward to having you two here, though I do question the whole spooky thing she's got" replied Marcy. "I mean, I know she's Gothic and such, but is the whole spooky and over the top ghostly vibe all necessary? It all seems like the biggest version to an old fashioned Halloween franchise."

Lincoln chuckles. "Ghost séance?" The woman nods. "Ouija boards?" She nods again. "Fake blood that she wants to be real blood?"

"Yeah, and she even had me bring up some posters about Vampires of Melancholia" replied Marcy. "Also, my husband will be home soon. He'll be happy to see his little girl again after being gone for so long. Now, follow me."

They follow Marcy Shapiro into the house and they make their way through the halls. "So, might I ask what your husband's occupation is?" asked Great Grandma Harriet.

"He's a soldier, serving in a fight against this terrorist group in Afghanistan. But he said he's being sent to Jerusalem when he goes back into service. He's coming home later and then he'll be back in service at the next year" replied Marcy. "I think the enemy is called, The GLA or something."

That names sounded off to Lincoln, like he can sense something wrong with that group of enemies from across the sea. They then make it to the backyard and they see the whole place has been well decorated. The Balloons and streamers are black, there are wallpapers and showings of Vampires of Melancholia, and they see some of the food are Blood Sausages, homemade blood for a drink and a Dark chocolate devil's cake.

"Wow. This is way different from when I was here last time" replied Lincoln.

Marcy chuckles. "Yeah, though that one was Maggie's party and she likes what she likes, even though I try to make it special and yet for some reason it turns into some kind of…"

"Snooze fest at a boring more or people mourning in the funeral?" asked Lincoln.

"Exactly. Lucy is over with her friends by the Ouija board" replied Marcy.

They see Lucy with Haiku, Maggie, Dante and Persephone and the Ouija board's arrow is moving to the letters. Seeing this makes Luna cautious and she puts Lincoln behind her and Michelle backs off. Great Grandma Harriet does not like this. "For goodness sakes!"

The ghost goes over and she grabs the board and she burns it, and all that is left are ashes. "Why did you do that?" asked Haiku.

Great Grandma Harriet looks around and yells. "I know you're here. So leave them alone, now!"

A first there's silence, but then there's this ominous woman scream that then sounds demonic and then fades away and something from the shadows comes out and flies above the house. Harriet makes a portal with a book she brought with her and the shadow is sent through the burning portal and she closes it.

"There, out of sight and out of mind." She then looks to Lucy and the others with her arms crossed. "What did I say about Ouija Boards?"

"Sigh, to not to" replied Lucy. "Sorry Harriet, we just wanted to speak to a ghost and this was the best we could do and we didn't know it would be a demon."

"Lucy, when someone uses the Ouija board, all spirits you're communing with are not ghosts. They're all demons and they all have dark intentions to bring harm to anyone and anything in they're way. You're lucky I came, that was the demon of taking children and I was not gonna let him linger in the town that has been restored of its peace."

They all remain silent and Lucy looks down with guilt. The mother of Lucy and Maggie feels like she should punish them, but seeing as this is going on seems not the right moment. She'll talk to them later. She then goes over and talks to the other adults there who came along with their kids.

Lucy then goes over and she hugs Harriet. "Sorry we did that."

Harriet sighs and she hugs her back. "It's alright. Just never do that again, unless I'm around. You need a ghost to help make sure that the one you're speaking to is not a demon, or things will get worse. Also, this boards are mostly used by witches, not children."

Lucy then sees Lincoln and Luna and she goes over and hugs them and they greet a Happy Birthday to her. "Thanks for coming guys, this means a lot to me that you're both here now."

Lincoln chuckles. "We didn't wanna miss out on this birthday party of yours, though to be honest I don't think there's anything fun for me to do here. It all seems, very depressing and way into an early Halloween, for Goths."

"Well this is the party I have dreamed of and there's no other kind I would like" replied Lucy. "The only thing not dark and depressing is the piñata." They all see the piñata is from Princess Pony.

"Yup, this is definitely and Lucy party" replied Luna.

Harriet then sees some emo teens go to her. "Excuse me miss, can we speak to you and ask some questions about the afterlife and other stuff?"

Harriet smiles. "Certainly, though I don't know how some of you will handle how it will all go down."

"We can take it." Harriet then goes to talk to the rest of the emo teens and some goth kids about what the afterlife is like and how a ghost is manifested the proper way and not the lesser known scientific way which is barely any logic to the actual existence of the paranormal.

Lincoln and Luna place they're gifts onto the table with the others and Michelle Lewis goes over to try the blood sausages and mingle with the other grownups. Normally Luna would join, but she's 16 and she'd rather stick with her kid and whatever fun he's having.

Lucy and Maggie needed to talk to Lincoln and Luna and so they take them to the tree house. "Wait. You have a tree house?" asked Lincoln.

They're now in the Tree house and it seems like any other normal tree house. Well, if you don't count the dark and brooding stuff all around them. "Who the heck made this?" asked Luna.

"My…. I mean our dad. He made this long ago when he was a kid and then he rebuilt it for me when I was 11, and so I use it when I need to like, get away from everyone. I was kinda like Lucy back then" replied Maggie.

"The house is where our dad grew up and our grandparents are due to both become 82 when the end of November arrives and I can't wait to meet them again, they're so nice" replied Lucy.

Lincoln and Luna smile hearing this. "So, what the heck did you wanna talk to us about Luce?" asked Luna.

Lucy and Maggie look to each other and then look to Lincoln and Luna. "We wanna talk to you both about the whole Halloween thing" replied Lucy.

"We know that those two stinkers Hank and Hawk got out, and we need to know what plan you guys got to handle those two bullies from Hazeltucky" replied Maggie.

"We need to make sure that the Shapiro Haunted Corn maze is not ruined, as well as everyone's fun time for Trick or Treating when the night hits" replied Lucy.

Luna smirks. "We have a plan dudes, there's no need to worry. We have it all taken care of."

"You guys recall the man who can turn into a raven and brought the allied troops here?" asked Lincoln.

"That man and his magic is awesome" replied Lucy and Maggie.

"Well, I gave word out to him and he said he'll have someone come to our town and make sure things aren't gonna turn bad" replied Luna. "So when Halloween hits, Hank and Hawk can't do anything bad in town otherwise they're both gonna get a beat down from…. Well something."

"I honestly don't know dudes, Gyro didn't tell me anything on what or who is coming to our neighborhoods and town to keep Halloween safe."

"Whatever it is, we're okay with this plan and we know it's all necessary, just as long as everyone can have the best Halloween when the maze begins" replied Lucy.

Lincoln then places a hand on Lucy' shoulder. "I can tell you're still a bit upset with the whole no Loud Haunted Corn maze right?"

Lucy looks to her former brother. "Sigh. Yes, I mean I always wanted this and Rita gave me the go on letting the maze be built and so I get the chance, but now it's not gonna be loud and is gonna be more for the Shapiro family. Even though it's not loud, it doesn't matter. What matters is that the maze comes true, and everyone has fun seeing it and enjoying the scares."

They were all glad Lucy was happy even with the outcome of the former family.

"Which brings us to something else we gotta talk about" said Luna. "Who'll be next to visit."

Lucy is shocked and so is Maggie. "And we're glad Maggie is here as well to talk about this."

"We're planning to visit Leni again and we're bringing along her friends Jackie and Mandee and we're hoping you'd tag along as well" replied Luna.

"Then we're gonna check on Lori and see how she's handling" replied Lincoln. "You want in?"

Lucy smiles hearing this. "Yes, yes I do. But, who are you guys planning to visit next?"

Luna and Lincoln didn't know how to answer this, but Maggie knows. "Luan. You two are planning to see Luan next, and that's why you were happy I was here to know, because Luan and I are friends ever since my birthday and that I may have had a small crush on her as well, but that one's gone now."

Lincoln and Luna are shocked and so is Lucy. They reply the same thing. "Did not see that last one coming."

Lincoln then asks. "So, you guys in?"

Lucy and Maggie look to each other and then back to Lincoln and Luna. "We know Luan has become an instable person, but we wanna know if she has changed. If she has bypassed her delusional ways of her obsessive over the top pranking" replied Lucy.

"If Luan has like, become a good person then there's a chance we can be able to forgive her. I'll be sure Benny does not know about this, yet. I don't want him to freak out or something and I don't want Luan to know that Benny and I are dating, not until I see her rehabilitated and back into society or something" replied Maggie.

Luna nods. "Very well then, looks like we're all on the same page. We'll inform you guys on when we can visit Luan."

"We're gonna need to talk to mom and dad about this" replied Lucy. They then hear their mom calling them, it was time and so they come down from the tree house.

As they come down, Lucy and Maggie thought it was time to cut the cake and greet happy birthday to Lucy. But instead they both get a shocking surprise. "Hey girls."

A man wearing a military uniform, black hair to the side of his head and a lightly shaved goatee and a large bag with him. It was the father of Maggie and Lucy. Roger Shapiro, they both go over and hug their dad who came back for them, for this one event of Lucy's adopted life.

Everyone claps seeing this, okay so the Goth's and Emo teens clap slowly but they do shed some tears at this moment. Great Grandma Harriet and Michelle take a picture of this moment and soon Marcy Shapiro joins in and hugs her daughters and her now returned husband.

For this is truly the one birthday gift that Lucy will never ever forget, now she can spend the rest of the year with her soldier of a dad, until he has to go back to duty next year.

Lincoln and Luna smile seeing this as well. It was a nice moment to see Lucy like this, being able to see someone who she sees as her father who came back from his line of duty.

But one thing they had in mind to deal with, is tomorrow. Luna is more concerned. 'Whoever Gyro has sent to our town, I hope they aren't that dangerous to the innocent kids and people.'

(Somewhere outside of Royal Woods.)

Gyro comes in out of his raven form and he looks to the Town of Royal Woods and he sees the Allied Outpost is managing well. The Outpost known as: Royal-Delta 2 - 0.

Gyro then stands next to someone who is his ally. "Do you know what to do?"

The figure says nothing and just breathes heavily. Gyro looks to the white masked figure that says nothing, the figure has brown hair and is wearing a blue jumpsuit used by mechanics.

"You know, talking would be a good reply. I have no clue if you are saying yes or even no."

The figure looks to the Guardian slowly and breathes. Then he gives him a thumbs up. "Okay good, now I am gonna go and take off to my world and I will back for you tomorrow night to send you back to the Realm of the Entity. Remember, keep an eye on all the neighborhoods and use the Power and perks you have."

"Be wary of the arrival of Hank and Hawk and I know you've marked them as an obsession with the hair samples you got, do not let them bring trouble to this town. Bleed them if you must, but no killing. Got it?"

The figure nods. "Good, see you tomorrow Myers." Gyro turns into a raven and he flies through a portal he made.

The masked figure looks to the town and he breathes heavily. Royal Woods, you're defender of "Halloween" is here, the Shape of Evil and the slasher of all classic American Slasher and Horror films. Michael Myers has come.

(Cue Halloween Theme song.)
