Diana, Sue and Nancy are now getting for their last day of school. They had a good school year as a matter of fact. They have worked a lot of their assignments of course. They did not have a failing grade all year by the way. They will be waiting for the bell to ring. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will be getting out of school.

"It's almost time for us to go, Di." said Sue.

"It sure is, girls." said Diana. "In fact, we have worked a lot of our assignments."

"We didn't fail our assignments." said Nancy.

"I know, girls." said Diana. "We also finished our tests as well."

"We just have to wait for the bell to ring." said Sue.

Later, the bell has rung, and the students are leaving the classroom.

"Enjoy the summer, students." said Mrs. Jean.

"We sure will, ma'am." said Diana. "See you later."

The students are now leaving the school building.

"Another school year for us is now in the book." said Diana.

"We won't be at school for a while, Di." said Sue.

"We can walk home, girls." said Diana.

"That sounds like a great idea, Di." said Nancy.

Diana and her friends began to walk home.

"I will be taking care of my siblings during my summer break." said Diana.

"Same here." said Sue.

"I haven't done that in a long time." said Diana.

"Me either." said Nancy.

"We will get home in a few minutes." said Diana.

"Okay, Di." said Sue.

Diana and her friends walk all the way to Diana's house.

"Here we are, girls." said Diana. "Thank you for taking me home."

"Anytime, Di." said Sue. "We better go now."

"Bye, girls." said Diana.

She saw her friends left.

"How was your day at school, Di?" Mrs. Evans asked.

"It was good, mom." said Diana.

"That is good." said Mrs. Evans. "I hope you will have a good summer break this year."

"Thanks, mom." said Diana. "I can meet my friends when I see them."

Diana and her friends have finished their school year. See what happens in the next chapter of this long story.
