Chapter 83: Sid in Royal Woods.
(Tall Timbers Creek.)
A van arrives, a van from the Great Lakes City zoo and someone comes out of it, that someone is the lay who runs the Great Lakes City Zoo and also animal expert and veterinarian to all kinds of animals. Wow! That is a lot to say! Becca Chang, and she's not along.
Also with her are her daughters, Sidney Chang and Adelaide Chang. "Wow. Our, well not the first time we were here. But it is Adelaide's first time" said Sid.
Adelaide has with her Froggy 2. Lets' just say something happened days ago that kinda led to the loss of her frog and her knowing the reason for the day of the dead. "Let's go and see those lake Sturgeon!"
"Glad you guys are here and glad we caught up to ya." They all see who it was. Lincoln, Luna and Jordan. "Hey Chang's welcome to Royal Woods, is Ronnie Anne with you guys?" asked Lincoln.
"No, she said she had to stay home and help run the Mercado alongside CJ and Carl, while Bobby goes to check out whose the gal who answered his online dating thing" replied Sid.
"Huh, didn't think Bobby would now go in for the online dating, he's trying to get over Lori by finding someone else right?" asked Luna.
"He is, now if you'll all excuse me. I need to check on some lake Sturgeon." Becca goes back into the van and then she comes back out in a wet suit. "Time to go and see what we got." She then dives into the lake.
"How the heck did she put that on so fast?" asked Jordan.
"Our mom has her ways, so while we're here let's have some fun and I brought my new Froggy with me" said Adelaide as she shows them her frog.
"New Froggy? What happened to the last one?" asked Luna.
Adelaide looks down and sighs. "Yeah, he went off to hop someplace else, and even though he's not with me physically, I will always treasure the fun we had back then."
They all felt bad for her. "Oh, sorry I asked little dude." Luna places a hand on the little girl and pulls her in for a hug, in which Adelaide responds with her own hug.
"It's okay, I'm kinda over the loss of Froggy now that I have a new one, and all thanks to Ronnie Anne and Sid, and also they're Abuela" replied Adelaide, they then depart from the hug.
"So, is there someplace we can hang out and chat while we wait for my mom to finish?" asked Sid.
Soon, they're all near the lake and waiting for Becca Chang to surface, Adelaide is playing with Froggy 2 by the lake alongside some other frogs who were friends with Lana, they like Adelaide now.
Meanwhile, Sid is witting on the bench with Lincoln, Luna and Jordan. "The whole of Michigan, or better yet the country knows about what happened with you guys involving a court thing with some dumb ghost show and an incident with some bad teenage girls in juvie. Man, you guys have had it rough lately" said Sid.
"We have and it was almost scarring, but we managed to pull through and try our best to make the most of what lies ahead" said Lincoln.
"There are gonna be some obstacles along the way and sure enough when they do come, then we'll hold our ground and make sure they do not tear this small family we have apart." Luna pulls Lincoln close to her and she kisses his forehead.
"If threats do come, then sure as heck I am not gonna let them fight this alone, in fact the whole of Royal Woods is in on this too" said Jordan. "And all thanks to one woman who rallied everyone and started the victory from the court against that fake ghost hunting team."
"Oh yeah, her name's Michelle Lewis. I heard her name and the one song I always listened to and it is awesome, but does she know the whereabouts of her partner Doug Rockwell?" asked Sid.
This alarms Lincoln and Luna. "What? What do you mean?" asked Luna.
"Well, from what I heard from school, from Nikki who got the intel from Laird who heard it from his phone that the former show host of America's Next Greatest Hitmaker escaped from the law and was never seen again" replied Sid.
"Some people say they have seen him somewhere as far from Texas to Tennessee. He is the most wanted conman in all of Hollywood and the country maybe, and I thought that Flip guys was crazy, but Doug seems to be way more wanted and who knows where he could go to next."
This was not good for Lincoln and Luna, they know that Doug will go after the one person who ratted him out from his actions and that one person is none other than Michelle Lewis. They know that while Doug was running from the law that was trying to catch up to him, Michelle was leading Royal Woods to go against ARGGH! And also led the whole town into a near rally to the juvie against the girls who harassed them.
Doug might be jealous that Michelle has now been known as a hero, and he said she would never be known or have a job again, well she has one.
"Well, if he does show up, then he'll find it hard to come to our town with the new stuff going around" said Lincoln.
"Which also reminds me, where the heck did FutureTech even come from and also, do you guys know them?" asked Sid.
"Well, yes and no" replied Jordan. "Not much is known about them or where they come from. But maybe the one who knows could be Harriet, and she's not talking about it and possibly we'll know when the time is right. For now, let's be grateful that these guys are here and helping keep this town and the louds safe."
"That's a relief" said Sid. "Do you guys wanna know what's been happening at Great Lakes City?"
"Sure."
Sid then tells them of some events that have happened: Ronnie Anne trying to stay home to watch some wrestling, Tio Carlos is actually once a great skateboarder known as Carlos-X, Ronnie anne and Sid tried to earn some money by walking dogs and it did not end well, Ronnie Anne trying to enjoy some quality time with her mom throughout town and Ronnie Anne and Sid trying to get to the most awesomest Halloween party.
"Whoa! Talk about one wild ride" said Lincoln. "Glad things are turning up right, though I have this feeling that right now Ronnie Anne is gonna be facing something else."
"He's not wrong, I mean sure Bobby is going to meet this girl he knew from online dating, but from what we all know is that Bobby cares more about the Mercado and how well it has to go" replied Jordan. "I can see it in his eyes, it's written all over his face and his sweat and from the smell."
Sid thinks about this. "Hang on, let me text Ronnie Anne." She then sends a text and then she gets a reply. "Okay, so Ronnie Anne said that Bobby keeps coming back to check on the place when it's all doing fine, he is way stressed and she said that he might end up hurting his mystery dates feelings or making her mad. Ouch."
"Nailed it." Jordan high fived with Lincoln.
Then they see Becca surface. "Alright, so the sturgeon have eggs and they're soon to hatch." She then comes out of the water and they heads back to her van.
"To be honest, I kinda think your mom looks good in the suit" replied Luna. They all look to her confused. "Sorry, just saying. You guys know I'm bisexual."
"It's alright, heck I know a lot of guys who come to the nighttime zoo exploration like to see my mom, and not just her looks, but how cool she is when she communicates with animals" replied Sid. "And I saw the news about the Halloween thing when you guys went face to face with some meant teenage boys."
"Yeah, that was wild and also dangerous. Thankfully we got rid of them and let's hope they don't ever come back" said Lincoln.
"You guys got skills and literally gave them one heck of a beat down. But all in all the one thing that kinda got me interested was the outfit your mom was wearing" replied Sid. This makes them shocked once again. "Again, sorry about that. I mean, you have to admit, she did look kinda hot dressed as some kind of superhero."
"I was dressed as a supervillain, which I thought was a super hero" replied Luna. "Also, are you straight?"
That question shattered the mind of Sid and she looked away nervously. "What? Heck yeah I am, why wouldn't I be? I mean, I am in a crushing relationship with Yoon Kwan."
They can see there is something is up with Sid Chang. "Sid, tell me. What do you think of Lincoln?" asked Jordan. "And be honest with me, Sid Chang."
Sid had so many things to say, and even though she didn't want to say it, she needed to.
"Okay, so when I heard about Lincoln I thought he was this cool guy who knows what to do. But after the whole event with the court and the bad luck thing, I saw a sensitive guy who needed comfort and support. He knows how to make a girl happy and is not afraid to show his emotions or even afraid to cry for when the moments feel sweet."
"Then I met, er saw Lincoln and I saw he was kinda cute, even when he's nervous he was making it hard for me to look away. His white hair makes him cool, and when I heard how he tried to defend his mom or friends when things went wrong, I thought that made him awesome and even sweeter to show how much he cares for those around him."
"So, yeah I have a crush on him. I kinda still do, but I know he's with you and I don't wanna break that up, you're both so happy together" replied Sid.
They're shocked from this and Adelaide overhears this and she accidently drops Froggy 2 into the lake, luckily he can swim.
"Wow! Major mind blown all over the place dude, major mind blow!" said Luna in shock.
"So, how long have you had this crush over me?" asked Lincoln.
Sid looks away and blushes. "Since I met Ronnie Anne months ago."
Then Jordan asks again. "So, are you sure you're straight? Because you mentioned how much you thought Lincoln's mom is attractive. I mean, sure she looked awesome and the suit fits her nicely, but you seem to have this alluring face similar to Sam."
Sid then sighs. "I'm…. I'm bisexual."
"Oh, well that's good to know" replied Lincoln. "We're okay with is, now I need to ask you Sid Chang. Do you have a crush on Ronnie Anne Santiago?"
That raised so many flags all over Sid and she's now as red as a tomato. "Ummm, i…. Well, you see… Okay, yeah I do have a crush on Ronnie Anne! Ever since we met, she was kinda cute and awesome and we had the same style and some things we like and I always felt happy to be around her and whenever we hang out, it felt so right to be next to her!"
"I actually saw that one coming." They all see Becca come out of her van and she takes a sample of the water and places it into the briefcase. "I saw all of it whenever you hung out with Ronnie Anne. You always looked nervous deep inside and didn't show it, but as a mom, I can see it quite clearly."
Luna chuckles. "She's not wrong, heck I saw the same thing when Lincoln was nervous around Jordan."
Sid looks to her mom and Adelaide. "So, you guys aren't upset with me being….. Bisexual?"
Becca sits next to her daughter and Adelaide as well. "Sid, we know that this is the path you choose and it's also the start of you trying to figure yourself out. We're okay with the choice and your dad would be alright as well."
"Yeah, I know you just wanna find that special someone. You're 12 year's old Sid and I'm okay with whatever choice you have in mind. Just like Bottle Nosed Dolphins, they can be bisexual too" replied Adelaide.
Sid smiles hearing this. "Thanks guys, this means a lot. The hot issue is, I don't know how to say this to Ronnie Anne." She looks down nervously.
"Then give her a love letter." They all look to Luna. "Try that and see where it goes. Make a love letter, place it to either her locker or sneak it into her bag, the note has to be a poem or something sweet to say to her and to make it mysterious so she won't know whose it from put in your initials, S.C and she won't know whose her secret admirer and then when she wants to know more, send her another letter and make sure it has a rose in it."
Lincoln thinks about this. "My mom makes sense, do that and see how it goes."
Sid smiles from this. "I already have a poem about her! I got ten of them!"
"Whoa! Sid, just one at a time. Not all at once, otherwise that'd be creepy" said Becca.
"Sorry, sorry. I just…. Thanks for the advice Luna, this could really help and I am so excited to do this! And I am gonna do it starting tomorrow at school" said Sid.
"Well, have fun and good luck with that. Also, I wanna tell you that you Sid Chang along with Ronnie Anne and any of her friends, are invited to my birthday party on November 3 at the Rosato mansion and it's gonna be a pool party" replied Jordan.
"Awesome!" Sid then looks to her mom with cute puppy dog eyes.
Becca chuckles. "Alright, alright. You can go, but not you Adelaide."
Adelaide stops her puppy dog eyes. "What? But why not?"
"Adelaide, the whole thing is gonna be a big kids party and we know you are gonna bring Froggy 2 with you and sure as heck it's gonna make so much panic for every girl there" replied Jordan. "Sorry buddy."
Adelaide sighs. "Alright, alright. Still can I at least be able to send you a gift when Sid gets there."
Jordan chuckles. "Sure thing."
Becca then goes to her van and sees her research on the conditions of the lake are done and she checks the condition. "Well, looks like this lake is healthy and good enough for the little ones of the sturgeon to survive, but once they get big then they have to be transferred to another lake or someplace with more water."
She then grabs some of her stuff. "Now, I need to go to the Royal Woods Zoo and tell them what I got for them to do, not much of the zoo keepers there are even top experts like me."
"Looks like it's time for us to go." Adelaide then hugs Lincoln and Jordan. "We can hang out again next time right?"
Lincoln smiles. "Sure thing little lady."
Sid then high fives with them. "It was fun while it lasted and thanks for the advice guys, now I can be able to put some closure on my crush for Ronnie Anne."
"No prob dude, us Bi's have to stick together right?" said Luna. She then high fives and fist bumps with Sid.
"The heck yeah we do!" replied Sid.
Then Jordan has an idea. "Sid, I know you still have this crush on Lincoln. So, let me help you find some closure to that one."
Sid and Lincoln are confused. "What do you mean?"
"Kiss him." This shocks them all.
"Wait what?" asked Luna in shock.
"Kiss him on the cheek and let him kiss you on your cheek, I'm cool with it and I wanna help you get over the crush you had when you knew about him. But avoid the lips, that zone is my spot" replied Jordan. "That is, if Linc's okay with this."
Lincoln blushes from what his girlfriend had just said, but then he snaps out of it. "Huh, I guess I'm cool with it, just to help someone get over her crush on me. What about you Chang?"
Sid then grabs Lincoln and kisses his cheek and so Lincoln kisses her cheek as well, when they depart Sid is blushing and she closes her eyes and goes in towards Lincoln, but he backs up. "Whoa! Lips off limits Chang."
Sid realizes this. "Oh right." She then looks to Jordan. "Sorry about that."
Jordan giggles. "No worries, but that was close. Also, keep this word away from Santiago unless the time is right to tell her. Like if we have one big awesome sleepover."
"Now that sounds like a plan" replied Sid. She then waves goodbye to them and she heads back into the van and they drive to the Royal Woods Zoo.
So, what the heck was all that about letting her kiss my cheek like that?" asked Lincoln as he walks away from the place with Luna and Jordan.
Jordan smirks. "Isn't it obvious, you looked so cute when you were nervous and I couldn't resist. Sorry about that." She then kisses his cheek.
Lincoln pulls her close and holds her hand. "As long as her crush on me is not too much, and I do hope she can be able to see if there can be a thing between her and Ronnie Anne."
As they keep walking, Luna and Lincoln realize something. 'Jordan's birthday is on November 3!'
(With the Chang's.)
Becca is driving and her daughters are in the back. "So, you glad you came along Siddo?"
Sid smiles as she leans onto the chair. "Yeah, I am glad I came along."
"And you thought you were just gonna hang out and talk with them" said Adelaide as she places Froggy 2 on her head. "At least you got what you have kept in you for so long right?"
Sid dreamily smiles. "Yeah." She then thinks about this. 'It might not have been the lips, but it was okay. Now for one more thing, Ronnie Anne.'
A/N: Jordan Rosato's birthday is closing in and this is for all ya'll who are Sidcoln fans, and no it might not happen since Sid has a thing for Ronnie Anne Santiago. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
