Chapter 84: Gift shopping and an annoyance.
(Royal Woods Mall.)
The Loud Purple Ferrari arrives and Lincoln and Luna come out. "Alright, so we don't have any school work, but there is this bi exam we have to take next week on Friday" replied Luna. "But right now we got to get a gift for your special lady."
Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah, I have to find something for her, something to show how much she means to me." They then walk towards the mall. "So, what are you gonna get for Jordan mom?"
"No need kiddo, I'm just here to keep an eye on you. I already got something for her and its safe back at the house" replied Luna.
Lincoln is shocked. "Huh, did not see that coming. Well, I guess better to be prepared right?"
Luna and Lincoln then enter the mall and the place almost looks kinda busy. But as they go inside, they fail to notice someone is following them and does not look happy, this person then follows them into the mall wearing a trench coat.
"Alright, so where do you wanna go to get Jordan and awesome birthday gift?" asked Luna.
Lincoln then recalls what his plan is. "Alright, so we start with the dressing store and then e see if we can get her shoes instead or if I can't find anything good for Jordan, then we head straight for this place called Gryphon's shopping. If that last one is okay with you mom."
Luna is shocked he would mention that place, she knows that "Gryphon's Shopping" is the one place for those who are in the higher class, but she understands why he would mention that one.
"It's alright Linc, I can understand that and if you wanna go to Gryphons shopping then we can go there. I also wanna see what they got" said Luna.
Lincoln smiles and they see Reiningers. "Well, time to go to the one place that's always the closest." They both head to the department store and inside they see Michelle Lewis at the register.
"Oh, hi guys! Let me guess, here to look for something for Jordan on her birthday?"
"Yeah, we are. We were hoping to come here first and see what Lincoln can get for her" replied Luna.
"Then let me help you out kid" said Fiona. "Come on, I can show you guys the cool clothing a girl whose about to turn 12 would like." They then follow Fiona through the aisles and make their way through the whole shop and then she shows them what they have.
Fiona shows them all the dresses they have and each one seemed lovely enough for Lincoln to imagine on what Jordan would look like wearing them. Though Lincoln was unsure about all of these selections, plus this was really bringing out his Leni fashion understanding vibe for some reason.
They then go through clothes after clothes and then Miguel comes in and he has some makeup and gear that Jordan might love.
Then Lincoln sees something and he goes towards it. "Wow. This looks lovely."
They all look over and go to what Lincoln is looking at. "Oh that? That there is new and we were supposed to release it before the whole November sale begins, which is two weeks from now. We just set it up today and no one else has seen this outfit yet" replied Fiona.
"This clothing was designed by someone at Detroit and has been released towards then Reiningers stores across Michigan" said Miguel. "This is called, the Sunny day amongst the clouds!"
The outfit is consisted of: A yellow short sleeved dress with flower petals at the openings of the sleeves and blue flower patterns around the sides, a light blue scarf with a yellow line that goes around the waist, light blue shorts and white knee long socks with brown slip-on shoes. It even comes with a brown sleeveless hoodie jacket.
Lincoln smiles. "Yeah, I'll take it." He then see something else that would go well with it. "And I'll take that one too!"
They look to what else he was pointing to and smiles. "Well, well. Looks like someone wants to impress the girl of his dreams" said Miguel. This makes Fiona chuckle.
"Well, that's my kid. He seems to know when it comes to some fashion knowledge and all thanks to Leni" replied Luna.
"I guess a bit of Leni is still in ya kid. Lets' get this stuff checked out" said Fiona. They then walk towards the register and they all begin to check out the items they got, this kinda shocks Michelle and Mrs. Carmichael, they are the first ones to purchase an item that hasn't been bought by anyone else.
Fiona even gift wraps it for him. "There, and it matches her color." They look to the bow with yellow gift wrapping and a blue bow that matches that of Jordan's clothing.
"Thanks guys, this means a lot." Then Lincoln stops and he has an idea. "On second thought, you think you guys can hold onto it?"
They all smile hearing this and so does Luna. "Sure, we can make sure this gift is safe Mr. Loud, and I'll also make sure that the package is delivered to the house of Jordan Rosato tomorrow" replied Mrs. Carmichael.
"Thanks guys" said Luna. "Well, we're gonna head off now, we'll see you guys tomorrow." She then looks to Michelle Lewis. "And we'll see you at home dude."
They then head out of the department store and make their way to the next location for their day at the mall. "So, you think we're invited to Rosato's birthday?" asked Fiona. "I heard it's gonna be a pool party."
Michelle chuckles and looks to her colleague in disbelief. "Might I remind you Fiona that the party is gonna have tons of 11 year olds, and some are new 12 year olds."
Fiona thinks about this. "Fair point, but we don't know if she will invite us too."
Outside: Lincoln and Luna make their way out. "Alright, so where do we go to next kiddo?" asked Luna.
"I was thinking we could go and check on the comic book store, I wanna see if something is new, then make it to the music store, then go to the video game store and then head to the food court for something to eat" replied Lincoln.
"Then let's get going Linc, we got a whole day here just the two of us" replied Luna. They go around the mall and get to spend the rest of the day together, but this mysterious man in the trench coat and hat follows them still.

Lincoln and Luna arrive to the comic book store, and Lincoln gets confronted by some kids who are at the same age as Simon and asking for his autograph, and each of them have 5 comics of: Ace Savvy and the Night Club. Looks like they're fans of what he made. He does get to see some new superhero comics and he finds one called: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
They then make it to the Music store and both Lincoln and Luna look around and Luna buys herself some new headphones since her last ones died out, and Lincoln finds a cool keychain he can add to his bag, and it's in the logo of Deadpool, which he does not know about.
They arrive to the video game store and Lincoln sees a video game he's never heard of called: Monster Hunter World. They then meet up with some of his pals and he overhears Lance, Trent and Artie planning to be part of this game called: League of Legends.
(End Montage.)
Lincoln and Luna soon make their way to the food court and there they see someone familiar. "Hey guys, nice to meet you two here" said Carol as she goes towards them. "May I?"
"Sure, we're actually glad to see someone friendly besides them" replied Luna. They see Dana and Becky falling in line and then they see Chaz, Tad and Spencer at another table. "So, what brings you here to the Royal Woods Mall?"
Carol then shows her gift wrapped bag. "Obviously. I was invited to Jordan's Birthday. Could you believe it? Of all people, she invited me to be part of it and I'm not even in her grade."
This shocks Lincoln and Luna. "Hmm, so I guess the party is also for those who she finds as friends. Let's hope the party can be managed before it turns into chaos real fast" replied Lincoln. "Chances we might see some guys trying to flirt with the teens."
"Yeah, we're hoping they won't" replied Jackie. She and Mandee approach them. "Cool we sit with you guys?"
"Sure thing, we're all friends here after all" replied Luna. They then take they're seats. "So, you guys are invited too and got Jordan a gift right?"
"Heck yeah we did, and we know that Jordan would totes love the shoes we got her" said Mandee.
"Also, we wanna know when you guys plan to visit Leni again. We wanna check on her too" said Jackie.
"Same here, though I just wanna know when you guys plan to visit Lori. I have so much to talk to her about some stuff" replied Carol.
Lincoln and Luna look to each other and nod. "Well, we're planning to visit Leni on Saturday and Jordan is gonna tag along to see her, and then we plan to see Lori once again on the 15th, since Sam's birthday is on the 14th" replied Lincoln. "We're gonna make sure that nothing else goes wrong, we don't want a repeat from last time we went to see Lori."
"Then we just have to make sure we're one step ahead" replied Carol. She then gets a call from someone. "Hang on, I need to take this." She then goes over near the restrooms and she takes the call and she seems happy.
"So, she still talking about the guy she met?" asked Luna.
"Yeah, we don't even know who is this guy she met and she hasn't even told her friends who this guy is and now we're all getting curious and for some reason so is Principal Rivers" replied Mandee.
"Now, we know you're really busy with the music club and all, so you rarely even hear the violin player call someone. So, we'll tell you what we barely know" said Jackie. "Whenever she talks to this guy on the phone, she's sometimes lecturing him about stuff and she laughs and smiles when she talks to him and then continues to lecture the guy about things that he might not know, almost like he's not the brightest person alive."
Lincoln and Lune were both thinking, and then they recall what Sid said the other day when she came and told them what Bobby was up to yesterday. They both have the same theories. 'Could Carol and Bobby be seeing each other?'
Just then they see the burger and salad shop is now open. "Well, looks like the place is open and Carol is done with her call" said Jackie. They see Carol motioning one of them to come along.
"I'll go dudes, I'm gonna help Carol with what we're ordering" said Luna. "Can you two keep an eye on this kid for me?" She ruffles her son's hair which makes him laugh a bit.
"You have our word Luna, we'll keep this white haired cutie safe and sound" said Mandee.
"Like he was our little bunny rabbit who needs all the love and comfort from those who know and love him" replied Jackie as she pinches his cheek.
Lincoln chuckles. "Come on guys, stop it." He blushes at the words they call him.
Luna then kisses his forehead and she heads off to order the food they all want alongside Carol. Leaving Lincoln alone with Jackie and Mandee. Lincoln looks around the mall and he sees Katherine Mulligan and her niece walking around the mall with a camera crew and are reporting live on the story of the incoming November sale.
"So, how are you and Jordan with the relationship?" asked Mandee.
"Well, we're still going steady as BF and GF and we always show our true and romantic side when we're alone and I do plan to bring her on a date, once I have a plan for when" replied Lincoln.
"You two are just too cute! I mean, I have to admit I think you're adorable" said Jackie. "I mean, the hair on your head really makes you stand out and the way you get nervous is just adorbs!"
Lincoln smirks and blushes. "Does every girl I meet think I look cute when I'm nervous? Heck even from Great Lakes City, Sid Chang thinks I'm cute."
"Sorry Lincoln, you just have this vibe that makes you unique and truth be told a lot of gals back in High School all still feel sorry for what you and Luna have been through, and they all think you looked so innocent and adorbs when you were nervous and scared, but they were all kinda impressed at how brave you can be too" said Mandee.
"You really know how to handle trouble, even from those who are truly annoying to the privacy you and your mom want" said Jackie.
Lincoln smirks. "Believe me when I say this, there is no way in ding dang heck am I letting some other annoying group of people ruin not just the peace that my mom and I want, but to the rest of town. We all just wanna do what we can and live our lives, but when people do get into our privacy, then it becomes way out of line."
Just then the man in the trench coat approaches them. "Excuse me, are you Lincoln Loud?"
They look to the man confused at who he is. "Umm, and who might be asking?" asked Lincoln.
"Me!" He then reveals himself and this man has a camera crew with him. "Hi everyone, my name is Jim Sparkletooth, and we're back with Jim Sparkletooth's Dirty Secrets! With me, Jim Sparkletooth!"
Jim Sparkletooth – a man in a blue suit with a pink tie and shirt inside and pants and black shoes. Brown slick hair and dark brown shaded area on the sides of his head.
They're confused at who this man is and the show he just said. "Who is this guy?" asked Mandee.
He then goes to Lincoln. "Now, we're here to know what your dirty secret is Mr. Loud. What secrets are you hiding in your life? Like, that new tech place called FutureTech!"
Lincoln then sees who this man is. "Wait, you're that weird man who breaks into people's lives and ruins them. Now I respect when you take down conned locations, but going through most people who are trying to do a living is just messed up, kinda like what ARGGH! Did."
Jim Sparkletooth sighs in annoyance, but he regains himself. "Now, let's know more about this kid and the life he has with his mom, who is "Shocker alert!" 16 year's old! What else is there to know about this so called Family of Two you have? What are you hiding?"
Lincoln feels like he he's being pushed into a corner once more, but then he stands his ground. But before he speaks, Jackie and Mandee stand up for him. "Leave him alone you jerk!"
"Yeah, you're nothing more than one of those dumb people who just cares about ratings!" said Mandee. "And I thought Hollywood was becoming dumber and dumber through their heartless ways, I didn't know Great Lakes showbiz was heartless too."
Hearing them gets the attention of everyone there. "Oh, looks like we got some drama! Are you two his older girlfriends?" asked Jim Sparkletooth.
Hearing this makes everyone gasp and get angry. Jackie and Mandee turn red hearing this and both of them slap him in the face and then Lincoln goes over and kicks him in the shin. "They're my friends and you're being a bully and we hate bullies in our town!"
"You better think about leaving brah!" The man turns around and they see Luna, she places the food on the tray and she then pulls out two things. A taser in the left hand and a police night stick on the right hand. "Either you leave our town alone, or get one heck of a Royal beating from all of us!"
Jim Sparkletooth then sees everyone in the mall is looking at him in anger and he smirks. "Well, looks like the whole town has one dirty secret!"
"And I have one for you!" He then sees Katherine Mulligan looking to him in anger. "Looks like someone never learns to leave good people alone."
Jim Sparkletooth is shocked to see her again. "K-Katherine?!"
She then looks to her camera crew and they are live! "This is Katherine Mulligan reporting live to everyone in Michigan. It appears a new threat has come to our town once again and this time in the form of Great Lakes City's very own maniacal privacy violator "Jim Sparkletooth" We are here and he seems to be trying to commit the same act of crime that the conmen and tourists have done from last month."
"Chances that this man's career might end and possibly to the news station he worlds for should this be seen by everyone, and it might happen right now since we are all live and everyone is seeing this." She then goes towards the man. "Tell me Mr. Sparkletooth, how does it feel to be a heartless and emotionless man who cares little about the personal lives and privacy of others?"
Jim Sparkletooth looks to the camera and is nervous, then he sees his own camera crew making a run for it. He tries to speak, but then he sees some cops have come. "Umm, this is Jim Sparkletooth saying: I am outta here!" He then runs for it and makes his way back to his van, but he then gets intercepted by dozens of Peacekeeper troops.
Lincoln and Luna look to Katherine. "Thank you Ms. Mulligan" said Lincoln.
"All in a good day work, there is no way I would let anyone bring any harm or ruin to our town. Also, I knew Jim back in High School, and believe me that man is the worse person to be friends with" said Kathrine. "Which is why in the School Year book, he was dubbed: To be the most annoying person ever!"
"Still thanks again for the backup and the whole news thing, sure enough Great Lakes will see this and will try to make sure that man never comes back to his stupid violation career for a long time!" said Luna.
"Oh, he's done so much more than this crud. I have known him for so long and I am so glad I broke up with him back in High School" replied Kathrine.
Lincoln, Luna, Jenny, Jackie, Mandee and Carol are shocked and they look to the news reporter. "What?"
