Chapter 91: Not good in the stomach.
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln and Luna come out of the bathroom and Luna guides her son back to his lower bunk and his face is looking green. "Oh… That was… That was not…. Good, mom." Lincoln feels like throwing up again, but he tries not too and he wipes away the sweat from his brow.
Luna then lets him sit. "Easy there bud, we don't want you doing that right here and glad there's a bucket."
Lincoln then drinks some water and then he looks to his mom and he hugs her. Luna feels bad for her son and she hugs him as well. She's a bit saddened that he's feeling like this and also pissed off that he's feeling like this and she still recalls what happened.
(Flashback.)
At Larry Berry Bakery, an ambulance comes and the paramedics check on Lincoln and Simon's condition and someone else is there, straight from FutureTech, he's an ally to the boss of the company: Jack Cyber, and everyone is shocked that this guy is a robot and he scans Lincoln and Simon.
"Alright scan complete and I am running through my search and checking for issues."
Luna goes to him. "What's going on man?" There's a lot of folks there, some of these folks are the ones who run the locations for the challenge and Katherine Mulligan has her camera rolling.
Jack Cyber then finishes his research. "Okay, so it turns out these two do not have the guts to hold both wheat grass, dandelion and kale in the same gut and also merged with fish oil. But it also seems like there were some ingredients in there that others did not recognize and did not fare well with their young stomachs."
"What do you mean? What were the other ingredients?" asked Sam. She holds her brother's hand tightly and rubs his back and he feels like throwing up again.
Jack Cyber does another research. "Horse radish, onions, garlic, rose petals and parsnips. Oh, and I also scan some hint of cinnamon, olive oil, and oyster sauce and also lobster paste and fish paste."
Everyone there are shocked and this makes all the contestants go to the nearest trash bins and throw up and for once, so do the teens as well. Kathrine feels like vomiting as well, she went to get the same drinks as well!
Jack Cyber sees all of this and is disgusted by the situation. "Well, this is gut wrenching."
Mayor Davis looks to the man in charge of the Organic Juice Store. "You and me are gonna have a serious talk about this! I said to let them try something they could figure out, not poison the contestants! Also, we're not gonna use your place for the next astonishing quest!"
Lincoln then feels something coming up and he goes back to the trash bin and he vomits, but when he looks to Luna her eyes are shocked.
His face is green and she can see little blood from his mouth. Lincoln sees this too and he passes out. "Lincoln?!"
Jack Cyber goes to them and he runs through some more tests and scans and he found something people will be shocked about.
(End Flashback.)
Luna continues to hug her son, she recalls that there was something that was not meant to be in the juice and it may have made an unstable reaction when it enters the stomach acids.
Someone accidently knocked over some dish washing liquid into one drink, and that drink was the one Lincoln got. The liquid lingered and then became unstable when merged with all the other organic ingredients and the stomach acid and they caused some internal damage and slight internal bleeding.
Jack Cyber had to perform the operation in the ambulance and Luna had to help him and she is kinda scarred that she saw this cybernetic person make her kid drink some kind of silver liquid and also inject it to Lincoln's stomach and it hurt him, a lot!
Luna sheds tears and she hugs her son tightly, through this revelation, the whole town had to be on hold with all of their activities, they needed to make sure that everyone else did not get something horrible when they drank the organic juice.
The organics juice store was being investigated by cops and they found out that one of the employees was being lazy and didn't know she knocked over the dish washing liquid and now this is happening, but they still have to close down the High school, as it turns out Principal Rivers is allergic to Horse Radish.
Luna then looks to her son who has tears. "Mom, I don't wanna do it."
Luna grabs a syringe and she checks the silver liquid within. "We have to, in order to expel the dangerous chemicals." Lincoln looks in fear by the syringe and he sheds some tears.
It pained Luna that this is happening, but she has to do it. She then holds her son's hand. "Hold onto my hand and do not look."
Lincoln looks away and he feels his right arm in pain from the sting of the injection, and the liquid going into his blood stream and it comes to life and accelerates to his organs to remove anything bad.
Luna finishes this and she puts the syringe away and she hugs her son and kisses his forehead and does her best to comfort him as he holds his sore arm. "I know, I know it hurts. But it has to happen, this has to be the way to help you kiddo."
Lincoln doesn't speak and he just cries into her shirt, the painful part is not the syringe, it was the things going into him.
Jack Cyber told her to let Lincoln take a shot of nano-healers every 6 hours for the next two days, they will scan his entire body for any remnant of the hostile chemicals and then they will gather them up into a liquid trap above his stomach and then they will gate Lincoln to throw it up, along with the nano-healers.
The whole vomiting thing hurts for him, because he has to throw up tons of liquid from his stomach in order to save his life, and it also stings when he feels tons of something inside his gut. That would be the nano-healers attacking the foreign deadly chemicals that entered his body, they're having a fight against those mutated chemicals.
Luna continues to hug her son who is crying, he can feel some pain in his stomach. "It hurts mom, it hurts."
Luna has tears of her own. "I know, I know son. But you have to endure, you have to and I do this because I love you Lincoln." To Luna, this was the incident with his appendix all over again and it hurt her heart to see her son in this pain once again,
(An hour later.)
Lincoln is fast asleep in the arms of his mother. Luna looks to her son and she strokes his hair, she then kisses his forehead and sighs. 'It's only a matter of time before he wakes up and needs to use the bathroom and get the bad stuff out of his system. Darn that organics juice store!'
She then gets a text from Sam, Luna grabs her phone and checks on it.
Sam – Luna, everyone in town is getting checked up just in case they had any bad cases from the astonishing quest yesterday. Luckily, I didn't catch anything wrong and neither did Simon. I don't think you got anything either, which is a good thing. Sully got sent to the hospital earlier, because he fell down the stairs in his house and has a broken ankle, so he's gonna be fine. How's Lincoln?
Luna then sends a reply, and then she puts her phone away, she then sees Lincoln opening his eyes and he holds his stomach. "M-Mom."
Luna then picks up her son and she brings him to the bathroom, there he goes to the toilet and he barfs out what the nano-healers have taken.
Luna rubs his back and tries to comfort him. "There, there bud. Let it out, let it all out. Everything's gonna be okay, I promise you that."
Great Grandma Harriet sees this and she sighs and walks away. 'What I would do to haunt that organics juice store, or that stupid teen who made this happen.' she then hears the doorbell ring. "Who the heck could that be?"
Harriet opens the door and she sees Lucy in front of her. "Hello Harriet, I came here to check up on Lincoln, is he doing alright?"
Harriet sighs. "Apparently not, he has been given his first shot of the day and he got the shot after breakfast, he's bound to get another after lunch and then again after dinner. The issue is that after throwing up what he has within, also makes him hungry. I have to make him something that will give him some energy and calm his nerves."
Lucy then has an idea. "Try some tea that could help him. Also, is Michelle Lewis around?"
"No, she left for work hours ago, she'll be back later in the day" replied Harriet. "Now come, your help is needed to make something for Lincoln to consume." Lucy follows the ghost into the kitchen to make something for Lincoln to eat without having any issues.
(Back upstairs.)
Lincoln comes out of the bathroom, holding his stomach and using a tissue to wipe off the vomit from his mouth.
"M-Mom, how long do I h-have to do th-this?"
Luna then escorts him to his bed. "Until the whole thing is over, possibly the next two days, so you should be fine on Thursday."
Lincoln then looks to his mom. "I'm feeling kinda hungry mom."
Luna then holds his hand. "Come on buddy, let's go and see what you can eat." They both make their way out the room and then down the stairs.
"After I eat, do I have to take the shot again mom?" asked Lincoln.
"No, only when you finished lunch around 12, then we have to give you the shit once again, it will hurt you because it's the early stages of the effect, the pain will be gone and feel like an itchiness when the next day follows" replied Luna.
Lincoln nods. "Okay mom." They make it to the kitchen and they see Lucy and Great Grandma Harriet have setup a salad with some healthy herbs and spices and some tea. "Lucy? What are you doing here?"
Lucy goes over and she hugs Lincoln. "Are you feeling alright Lincoln?"
Lincoln hugs her back. "I'm not doing so well Luce, this pain in me is gonna be like this till the end of the day, so I have to endure, no matter how much it hurts. How're things at home?"
They then break from the hug. "Not well I suppose, I mean we're not affected by this horrid outcome of bad ingredients in juice, but my sister, Maggie….. She has a nasty cold and Benny came over to check up on him, and I can't be near her otherwise I'd catch it too" replied Lucy.
They're shocked to hear this. "Whoa. What the heck happened to get her sick?" asked Luna.
They all sit down and Lincoln eats his salad and he likes it. Lucy then tells them. "Well, they did have a date yesterday while everyone else was that at the Astonish Quest, and how she got sick was an unexpected series of unfortunate events."
"She said that the waitress at Giovanni Chang's accidently spilled hot soup on her, then another one slipped and spilled cold water onto her and this made her seriously angry and she walked out of the place along with Benny, and they had their date elsewhere, which is the new restaurant that is dark."
"Then it got worse when Maggie said she can see in the dark, but she tripped when she didn't see an ice cube on the ground and she fell in a bucket of ice and so with all of that happening to her, the date was ruined and canceled."
They all remain silent and have no words for this. "Wow, and I thought Lori would have it worse if she did that with Bobby, well if she was still dating Bobby" replied Lincoln.
"Dude that is so messed up. I feel bad for Mags" replied Luna.
"Be sure she gets plenty of bed rest and that she also gets her medicine and then she'll be all healed up. Also, won't Benny get sick? Is he wearing a face mask?" asked Harriet.
Lucy recalls something. "Oh no."
"He didn't did he?" asked Lincoln as he then drinks his tea.
Lucy realizes this. "Sigh, Benny came to the house dressed as a doctor with a clown nose and rainbow hair, so chances he's gonna get the cold too. This is bad."
Luna smirks. "Just give him next week and soon Benny boy is gonna be in bed and he'll need healing from the lady of depression and emo's."
They all laugh at this. Lucy also chuckles. "So true. "Also, how's Jordan?"
Lincoln then finishes eating. "Jordan's fine, she just had bad stomach issues and she said she'll bring me my school work along with Clyde. Though, Mollie is staying in bed because she's allergic to horse radish, she just realized that yesterday after the whole thing."
"Ouch" said Lucy. They then continue talking and enjoying some good food, Luna keeps track of the clock. She doesn't like to do this, but when 12 hits, he has to take the shot again.
(Nighttime.)
Luna escorts her kid to the bedroom once again, he has finished dinner and after he ate he took the shot and one hour later he needed to let it out, and he also needed to do his private business as well.
"Easy does it kiddo" said Luna. "She's still in her normal wear and she places Lincoln in bed and she tucks him in, she then gives him some water and he drinks it. "You feeling okay Lincoln?"
Lincoln looks down in sadness. "I don't know any more mom, I feel really bad inside and sooner or later it might come back up. Is this normal?"
"That robo dude said that small vomiting occurrences is normal, it's a slight side effect to having little robots healing you from the inside. Use the bucket when you feel like it, okay Linc?" said Luna.
Lincoln nods. "Okay mom, and I know it always hurts when this happens, but I know this is all necessary for me now. Like you said and you do this because you love me and I love you too mom." He then hugs Luna.
Luna smiles and she also hugs her son. They soon depart from the hug and she tucks him in. "Get some bed rest and sleep tight, even though it's not 9 yet. But this could help make you feel well."
Lincoln nods and he yawns. "Thanks, goodnight mom, I love you."
Luna kisses his forehead. "Love you too sweet child of mine, goodnight Linky." She then walks out of the room and she lets Lincoln sleep.
Outside, Luna sighs and she goes to the bathroom and she looks at herself in the mirror. "Hey there Lunes, not easy being a mom? Heh, I get that, but it's all worth it. Just to see him smile and be happy and healthy."
Then Luna thinks. "When he gets patched up, we should celebrate, but how?" She then gets a notification from her phone, but her phone isn't ringing.
Then she sees she has Lincoln's phone in her pocket and she checks the message.
Clyde – Lincoln, the amazing Brailster is having a super-secret pop up magic show! It says that you can bring a friend and it begins on the 12th of November. I'd love to go, but there's this big marathon of Antique wars and I cannot miss it, maybe you can invite Jordan or some of our other friends.
Luna smiles seeing this. "Bingo."
