Chapter 96: Heal more wounds.
(The Loud House.)
Luna's car comes back and coming out of course is Luna at the passenger's seat, she's still sore and bandaged up on her left shoulder after what had happened yesterday. The one who was driving was Sam Sharp, Luna's girlfriend and Lincoln's other mother figure.
Yeah, Sam has a driver's license now, because she's now 16 and she did pass her driver's test after her birthday and the license was the gift her parents got her. She's patient with getting her own wheels.
Luna and Sam then see the welcome home sign from everyone at the front of the Loud House, and Lincoln rushes to his mom and hugs her. "Welcome back mom! I'm so, so happy to have you back here!" He has some tears on him and Luna knows why.
Luna hugs Lincoln. "Shhh, its okay kiddo. I'm here now, I'm fine. I may look a bit banged up, but I'm still standing and breathing little dude."
Soon, everyone else goes to her and welcomes her back home. But then someone hugs her tightly, and that someone is none other than Michelle Lewis and like Lincoln she has tears after what had happened to Luna.
Luna can tell this is also hurting her, and so she hugs her back. "Easy on the hug Michelle. Still kinda sore here and I don't want anything bad to sprain or something."
Michelle then breaks from the hug. "Sorry, sorry. I'm just….. Just so happy to see you back and on your feet again Luna, and thank you for saving me from my old friend."
Luna smiles. "No problem, you're family too and we don't abandon each other to become hurt by someone else. I did what I had to and I knew that I might get hurt, but I wanted to make sure you were fine and that the men who did this are sent to justice."
Michelle and Lincoln were worried about those words from Luna, they didn't make them feel comforted. Then Officer Tristen along with officer Schoffner go towards them.
"We have some good news, Doug Rockwell is now gonna be sent to a prison located somewhere in New Mexico and after what he did, he'll be enjoying the rest of his life after the crimes he committed and the thugs who were with him did not survive" replied Officer Tristen D. Pingrey.
Then Officer Schoffner speaks. "Those goons were conmen like Doug Rockwell and they're been wanted in ten states around the country and now we can rest easy with all of them dead, well, except for the one we interacted who was trying to leave town. He took a tank turret to the face, literally."
Luna sighs in relief. "Thanks for the information officers, but did they at least sing about where they're ally is? Did they say anything about where Flip is?"
"They refused to speak, and because of that they're being sentenced to the life in jail punishment, unless they speak where Flip is, then they won't be getting out for a long, long time" replied Tristen.
Luna didn't like this and neither did Lincoln and Michelle. It only meant that flip and his conmen crew are still out there and plotting another scheme to get back to Lincoln and Luna, and possibly to Michelle Lewis as well.
"That doesn't matter now" said Luna. "Even though they're still out there. We can be able to be prepared for the next time, we can all be set and ready for when they come back and try something else wrong and horrible. We can take them down, together."
They all felt motivated and confident about her words and Lincoln and Michelle smirks. 'And I thought I made very motivating speeches.'
Luna looks to everyone. "Now, I know we're all celebrating for my return, but let's also celebrate that we got justice and have dealt with one threat and that Michelle Lewis is back, safe and sound."
They all smile hearing this and they all head to the back of the house, because that's where they setup everything for the party to celebrate the return of Luna. But now this is more than just Luna, and Luna is shocked to see the large chocolate cake, courtesy of Clyde and Chloe.
They all enjoy this party and talk to Luna as she tells them how hard and dangerous it was for her when she did what she had to and it kinda made her feel like she was doing more than just protecting her kid and Michelle, she was feeling like the whole town was looking to her to deliver justice.
Lincoln then sits next to Michelle, even though they are happy with Luna being back, they both felt worried about the next time this happens again and it made them both very scared about what could happen next.
Great Grandma Harriet notices this and she knows what they're feeling. 'Things are not going well anymore. We may have vanquished one threat, but another one will come. We must be ready and prepared, and even with Luna and that speech she made, I think it might not be enough.'
She then looks to the sky. 'Guardian, wherever you are. Please come back and help us, bring forth the allies you have and help us end this madness, once and for all.'
She then goes over and she talks with Luna. Luna notices Lincoln and Michelle being a bit uneasy, Jordan goes over and comforts both of them.
Luna knows where this is going, which means after the party. She has two people to talk to, two people to calm down and two people to provide comfort. 'Looks like I gotta stand up and be the comforting person once more, a comforting mother to Lincoln and a reassuring friend to Michelle.'
(Hours later.)
The morning has past and the party is over. All the guests have left and Sam and Jordan along with Rick and Jesse remain to help clean the place. There is some left over cake and they place it in the fridge, they did give some cake to the others to take home, but there was still a lot of leftover food and Ajax can't eat everything because he's past out on the lawn after eating way too many burgers.
Luna helps move the leftover chips into the fridge, but then Jordan stops her. "Go and talk to them, now."
Luna knows what she mans. "Okay." She hands her the bowl of chips and she looks to the stairs and she climbs up them.
Jordan then takes some chips and eats them and she sits on the chair in the kitchen and she's soon joined by her parents, Sam and Harriet.
"Things are not gonna be easy for anyone in town now" said Jordan. "Everyone will be endanger from Flip and his conmen crew. We need to try and make sure everyone is safe and that no one can cause trouble."
"Jordan has a point" replied Sam. "Does anyone here have a plan on how we can make this madness end before it gets out of hand?"
They all look to Harriet who has remained silent, almost like she's thinking of something. "Harriet, something on your mind?" asked Rick.
Harriet then looks to all of them. "The cloaked man, Gyro. There is something you must all know about him, and FutureTech. Usually I would also tell Lincoln and Luna about this. But after what has transpired, I think our closest of friends and loved ones should know, where they truly come from."
Harriet is ready to tell Sam, Jordan, Rick and Jesse, all she knows about Gyro, Guardian of the Realms.
(Upstairs.)
Luna walks into her room that she shares with Lincoln and there she sees her son, showing Michelle an album of the fun things Lincoln and Luna did back when they were siblings and the fun things they have done as mother and son, Michelle smiles to some of these and so does Lincoln.
Seeing this makes Luna smile and she goes over to them. "Hey guys, what's going on here?"
Lincoln and Michelle look to Luna. "Oh, I was just showing Michelle some stuff that we did long before. The good times, not the bad ones and the moments that made us feel like we were more than siblings, and here we are now, as a mother and son" replied Lincoln.
Luna smiles hearing those words and so she goes over and sits between them and she too looks to the photos. "Yeah, those were good times and I have to remind you still, that we have to go and meet up with Lori this weekend, if you're up to it."
Lincoln smiles. "Of course I am, and we have to bring Lucy and Carol as well. They need to talk to her and see how she's doing."
They then look to Michelle. "You're welcome to come with us as well. We know you didn't get the chance to come with us to see Leni, so why not tag along with us to see Lori" replied Luna.
Michelle smiles. "Yeah, I'd like that. Thanks."
Luna then speaks something else. "Guys the reason I came here, is because I wanna know how you two have been…" She gets interrupted when Michelle hugs her. "Michelle?"
The brown haired woman sheds some tears as she hugs the teen mother and she tries to speak, but she can't. Lincoln also feels emotional seeing this and he too joins in the hug.
Luna can see how messed up they are. Lincoln: Because he nearly lost his mom and didn't do anything to help her, even though he listened to her to stay away and be safe. He feels as if he failed to have her back.
Michelle: After the abuse and assault she went through and that she watched Luna get shot and that she risked her life to save her from a terrible danger that could've gotten her killed and Lincoln to become an orphan.
Luna then hugs them back, she knows she can't talk to them yet. Not while they're still broken up after what had transpired yesterday. Luna lets them cry, she does her best to reassure them everything was fine and that they're safe, for now.
Soon, Lincoln and Michelle calm down and Luna waits for one of them to speak. "Luna, thank you for saving me. If you hadn't come to get me out of there, I would've been given far worse things than what they did to me. They… They were so many and….. And they….. They." Michelle then cries into her hands.
Luna rubs her back and Lincoln places his hand on her shoulder to keep her comforted.
Michelle then stops and Lincoln asks. "Are you gonna g-get pregnant?" He was afraid of what she'll say next.
"N-No" replied Michelle. "I may have been raped by those….. Those monsters!" She wipes away some of her tears. "B-But they can't be able to get m-me pregnant. The doctor found that i… I c-can't." The way she said it sounded painful, almost like it hurt to know she can't bear children and yet she is also relieved it wasn't from Doug and his goons.
Luna can tell it's hurting her. "Michelle, it's okay. I mean I know it is hard to think that you….. Can't have a future one day, starting a family and all, but be lucky that Doug and his hoodlums didn't do anything within you. We'd hate to see you go through so much turmoil facing something made by those monsters."
Michelle sighs. "I really thought that one day, maybe one day I could have a family. But when the doctor said I can't, that hurt me more than being abused and raped to the point of pain and… And pleasure. I didn't wanna enjoy it, and yet I did." She then cries into her hands once again.
Lincoln then gets off the bed and he goes over and hugs her, Luna also embraces the crying woman. Everything inside of her is hurt, everything. Physically and mentally.
This is also a reason why Mrs. Carmichael is giving her a week off, to calm her mind and nerves and get over what has happened to her, but Fiona and Miguel promised to come over and see if she's doing alright.
Lincoln then feels her sobs begin to calm down. "Michelle, even though nearly losing my mom was something I couldn't imagine, seeing you break down and going through all of that reminds me of myself. I went through the start of summer in hell and you were tormented in hell in one day."
"I know how you feel and ever since you told us who you were and the family you once had. We know it hurts the most knowing there might not be a future to even have a family, or even a good ending to the end of the madness. But….. We can be you're family, we can be the ones you can see as family. As a loud."
Michelle then stops her crying and she looks to Lincoln and Luna. "W-What are you t-talking about?"
Luna smiles and she and Lincoln wipe away her tears. "Michelle, do you wanna be an auntie to us? Do you wanna be a loud?"
Michelle is shocked to hear this, she had only stayed with them for one month and now they're asking her something she never thought they'd ever ask. "W-What?"
"We don't want you to feel alone, sure you enjoy being here in our home and hanging out with us and helping with everything in the house, and property. But we don't want you to feel like a housemate anymore, we want you to feel like family" replied Lincoln.
"We wanna be the family you can look to when you need help and comfort, we wanna be the ones who can give you a reason to fight and a reason to live and a darn good reason to see a bright and happy future" replied Luna. "We want you to be a part of our family."
Michelle then has tears, and then she hugs them both. "Yes! Yes! I will, I will be part of this family! Thank you, thank you. Thank you!"
Luna and Lincoln smile and they embrace Michelle and they too shed tears. "You're welcome and welcome to the family, Michelle Lewis Loud."
That is one name Michelle will never forget and she will be honored about this offer that she was given, an offer she cannot turn away and will never betray.
(Downstairs.)
Jordan, Sam, Rick and Jesse are shocked out of they're minds. "So, the Guardian is a powerful man of magic whose' been around for more than a thousand freaking years?" asked Sam.
"A man who made and leas a powerful interdimensional council and alliance to ensure the safety of all worlds and when they need to face a threat? That is just unbelievable. That explains the FutureTech stuff" said Rick.
"In a world like ours, but went down differently with the same outcome of how it started" replied Jesse.
Harriet nods. "Everything I speak is the truth and these heroes are real and they have been through a world that has not faced the Bad Luck incident, but instead was halted before it got worse. These heroes however, they're destiny has been shaped from the bad luck fiasco and made them who they are now."
"They know about the existence of our worlds and dozens others who have also faced the same conflicts of the no such luck thing. They haven't yet to meet with this world, but I do believe they will soon. But with everything that has happened, we could use their help and hunt down those who wanted us harmed, before they do more damage and do something worse to Lincoln and Luna."
Jesse looks to Sam and Jordan. "You two okay?" Rick and Harriet also look to the blank expressions from Sam and Jordan and they know both of them are processing everything Harriet had just said.
Jordan. 'My hero version rides a dinosaur, is a major to an army of troops and also pilots a mech and has the DNA of a limitless alien army? What the heck? I sound awesome and also scary, but awesome!'
Sam. 'Electric powers, and my mom and Simon died and now Simon is back with the hero Sam and she has an awesome ghost woman as a mom figure and has more siblings and Luna is an ice and demon born heroine?! Whoa! I don't even know what's going on anymore.'
They then snap out of it and look to Harriet. "Harriet, we decided that you have to get the Guardian to get those heroes here now" said Jordan. "Sure Luna can be prepared and junk, but Luna is not strong enough to take on some group of conmen who might end up kidnapping Lincoln."
"Jordan's right" replied Sam. "I am not planning to watch Luna and Lincoln get hurt or worse. We need some serious back up here."
Harriet sees that they're all on the same page, but they have to make sure Luna, Lincoln and Michelle don't know yet. Best tell them when the time is right.
"I'll see if I can contact the Guardian and see what he has to say about this."
A/N: They'll need some time to get over what has happened but they can get over it as a family together, all three of them, and Harriet has to make contact with Gyro once more to bring forth the heroes who could help turn the tide of this issue, but they don't know how busy these heroes are when it comes to the security of other realms.
