Family of Two Chapter 113: Gigs and Merriness!, a loud house fanfic

The Luna-Tics are back! This is their first gig since they reunited months ago and it nearly went down real fast! We're also gonna see Lincoln and Luna perform a duet for everyone, enjoy reading this folks!

Family of Two.

Chapter 113: Gigs and Merriness.

(The Loud House.)

Lincoln, Luna, Harriet and Michelle Lewis walk out of the house and they have with them the things that they need for the park musical performance they will be performing.

"Okay, so Chunk called me and said that he and the rest of the band are there and the gear has been setup and they're ready to rock and roll." Luna then locks the door and she turns on the security.

"We have the hot chocolate and some cookies in case some folks wanna have something good to eat while waiting a bit." Michelle places them into her car.

"Thankfully, the weather today is not gonna be like from last time. There won't be any snow storm so we're all safe. For now, chances a snow storm will come soon later in the month and let's hope it won't be on Christmas day" Harriet goes over with Michelle and she helps keep the three basket of cookies and five thermoses of Hot cocoa from spilling out.

"We got our own gear right here mom, we're ready to rev up and rock it out with the band and show everyone in town some Christmas cheer and that the Luna-Tics are back in action once more" replied Lincoln as he places his acoustic guitar and his mom's Axe into the purple Ferrari.

Luna smiles. "Alright, we got what we need and from what Chunk told me, it's one big crowd and so we're gonna be giving it our all to show everyone that we can rock it and be as merry as Baby Jesus himself."

"Okay, now I know Christ would be merry, but as an infant he didn't know joy yet or even his birthday. Just being honest here" replied Great Grandma Harriet.

"Well, let's head off and make some musical magic folks, and with a dash of good old Christmas magic too" replied Michelle Lewis. She then looks to Harriet. "You can do that right?"

"Christmas magic is just a word to show everyone that there can be true and pure happiness to all, it's also something someone made up long ago to make everyone feel good. Christmas magic is from the hearts of folks, not from magical beings" replied Harriet. She goes into the red Ferrari alongside Michelle.

Luna gets into her purple Ferrari alongside Lincoln, they fasten they're seat belts and get ready to drive off. Both vehicles activate chains on their tires and drive through the snowy road.

"Wait, where the heck is Mr. Grouse? I saw him at his home earlier and now it seems empty" said Lincoln.

"No clue kiddo." Luna continues to lead on with Michelle following them, and some allied vehicles also follow them. "Looks like we got ourselves some escorting company, awesome."

(Ketcham Park.)

They arrive to the park and see that there are a lot of folks there. From the Detectives, their school friends, some cops and allied troops, Pop-pop and Gran-gran, their friends from Elementary school and High School, and some folks from the Middle School, as well as lots of teachers and pretty much a lot of folks they know and love.

"Wow! You weren't kidding about the crowd being big, I hope we got enough for everybody here" said Michelle.

"I think we do and we're not alone in this as well." Harriet sees Howard and Harold handing out some hot chocolate and some warm cookies to everyone, it's not part of their community service, just them being nice and handing out some treats to those who wants a snack, and all made by Clyde and Chloe too.

"Well, we got some backup and that stage looks fine as a Christmas party" said Luna. Lincoln is also amazed.

The stage is pretty large and has a red curtain covering it all, and has some lights and neon Christmas signs on it. "Did the mayor go all-out for this? How the heck was this made possible?" asked Lincoln.

Luna smirks. "Chunk said he could make this work and so he did, thank you Chunk, my man."

They then split up and move out. Harriet and Michelle help hand out some hot chocolate and cookies alongside Harold and Howard, though they seem nervous that they're helping the ghost that they have yet to apologize, but they know she's not in the mood to talk to the both of them.

Lincoln and Luna walk to the back of the stage and he waves to Jordan who also waves back. She and her parents along with her friends are all there to see this big comeback gig.

They soon make it to the back and Lincoln and Luna see the rest of the band setting up and getting ready and some of them look through the lyrics again. "Well, looks like we're looking cool and ready" said Luna.

They all go towards their band leader. "We have all the amps set up and the gear, and all thanks to Chunk. We're doing some last checks on the gear to see if they work, we just need you to check them out" said Mazzy.

"We've gone through the lyrics more than ten times and we know what to do now, and all the songs are so wicked awesome" said Sully. "Rocking and rolling like Christmas on the axe. Nice one Luna and Sam."

"Well, this is our comeback for the rockingest rock bad in town and what better way than to show them that we got Christmas spirit and cheer alongside our rock n' roll spitfire souls" said Sam. She then looks to Lincoln. "You ready for the finale later kiddo?"

Lincoln nods. "Sure am and I love the song mom made, really does make it feel like a whole new kind of Christmas."

Sam chuckles and she ruffles his hair. "Good to know, looks like we're all looking and feeling like the great Saint Nick is ready to rock his own way."

Luna then goes over and she double checks the gear and goes through the lyric sheets. Lincoln smiles seeing this.

'Man, mom sure looks happy. The way she goes around and checks on everything makes it feel like she's tending to me as well. I know she can control her old urges of the rock n' roll dream, I know she can still be the mom I know and love, and I know she won't give in to the old loud ways.'

Lincoln then goes over and sees what he can do to help out.

With all the gear checked and done, and all the songs they have set and ready, the folks waiting then see the lights on the stage glow and the curtains unveil the band; Luna, Sam, Mazzy and Sully – The Luna-Tics! And all of them are wearing Santa hats and are in red clothing.

Luna looks to her axe and she sees the necklace that Lincoln gave her is attached and she smiles, she even looks to her son who is watching her from the sides alongside Chunk who is managing the lights.

Luna takes a deep breath and she looks to her band. "You guys ready for this thing?"

Sam amps up her bass. "We got the rock and roll vibe babe."

Sully cracks his knuckles as he has his keytar ready. "Let's show them some rockin' Christmas spirit."

Mazzy readies her drumsticks. "Beat to the sound of the marching drums girl."

Luna then looks to the crowd and she can see Michelle Lewis with a tablet, well tablets and each one has Leni and Lori watching, the whole thing is live stream for the two former siblings to watch as well.

Luna is happy to see this and she even sees Lisa is amongst the crowd with Darcy and the D. Pingrey's along with Lily are there as well. This puts a smile on her face and she goes to the microphone.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are the Luna-Tics and we are back in it baby!"

Everyone cheers hearing this.

"Are you all ready to rock and roll to some awesome Christmas cheer?" They all cheer and clap. "Then let's jungle this jam people!"

They then begin with their first song and they give it their all to show them that the Christmas Spirit has just went up to eleven!

(Three songs later.)

With the three rocking songs for Christmas spirit done, the crowd cheers from this and Luna takes a second to catch her breath, same with the band and they take the time to rest their hands as well.

She can feel a major rush in her, but she calms down and she looks to the necklace on her axe and she smiles. She then looks to her son Lincoln and she motions him to come to the stage.

Lincoln knows what this means, he grabs his acoustic and he joins her on stage. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we're about to do one more song and this one is with my kid, Lincoln Loud!"

Everyone cheers as they see the white-haired boy walk on stage and he waves to them and sees Jordan and his friends all cheering for him. Everyone recalls what he did at the Royal Woods Elementary School talent show and now they all get the chance to see him perform once again and this time with his mom and her band.

Lincoln then feels happy when he sees the tablet and he sees Lori and Leni waving at them and he sees Lucy waving and then Lily with her family waving, then he sees Lisa in the crowd, smiling and she too waves, but she's nervous when she does this.

Lincoln feels as if the family is back together, not all of them, but at least some that he still knows and loves. Luna places a hand on his shoulder. "You ready to do this kiddo?"

Lincoln gets his guitar ready. "As ready as you are mom." Luna smiles and she looks to Sully.

"Hit it!"

Sully hits the keys and it sounds like a grand piano playing the first beat, and soon matches with Lincoln on his acoustic followed by Sam on her bass. Soon, the rest of the beat follows with the rest of the band as a gentle start.

Lincoln: Build a snowman, with the wind at his back.
Got the day planned and presents to wrap.
Fight the wind chill with all of my friends.

Going downtown, and spreading the cheer.
Handing gloves out when we volunteer.
For the children, grinning from ear to ear.

Luna: And everybody's like ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho.
Four-wheel driving through the snow.
Fighting the cold with some hot cocoa.
Grabbing grandma, to the mall we go.

And there's a man outside with a bucket and a bell.
Wants to go home with a story to tell.
And he's reminding us.
That it's Christmas got nothing to do.
With living for himself.

Everyone cheers at this song, and they even helped sing through it all as well.

Lincoln and Luna smile to each other and watch as everyone there cheers for the lovely and merry performance. Lucy and the rest of their friends shed some tears and clap at the amazing performance they made.

They even see the tablet screens from Michelle, where Leni and Lori are watching and they can see Leni and Lori have tears and are also clapping.

Also with Lori and Leni are the guards, inmates, staff and patients who all cheer and clap as well. They wanted to share what Lincoln and Luna had planned to make this Christmas feel festive and fun for all.

Luna looks to Lincoln. "Wanna do an encore?"

Lincoln has his acoustic. "Let's make it as merry as it was when we sang it mom."

They look to the band who all nod and agree and so they do the song one more time! This is truly a good start for the upcoming holiday and spreading early Christmas Cheer to all of the good folks of Royal Woods.
