This chapter is an idea from my good pal "marvelomac101" We're gonna see some unexpected guests go to the local Auntie to Lincoln and Luna. This should be interesting. Enjoy reading guys and gals.

Chapter 120: Family, from another.
(Royal Woods Mall.)
The mall is busy for this week's next round in the December sale and soon would be the Christmas sale. Right now, Michelle Lewis Loud is busy with the work she has.
Alongside her co-workers Fiona and Miguel, they have been helping out tons of customers with what they need, even from the hardest of customers, Scoots. She found the right scarf and winter hat and she rates the service as A-Okay.
The whole mall is seemingly non-stop since tons of patrons come in and out, and most are official tourists who have come for the local mall and some are new comers to town, there is a ton of stuff to do here now! Oh good god!
Michelle Lewis is busy at the register and she sighs. "Whew, what a day!" said Michelle.
"Guys, this day is almost as intense as the other days. Didn't think the seniors were let here early than usual" replied Miguel.
"That was a lot to fold, and I don't think my hands will hold, they need ice, a bucket of ice" replied Fiona.
Mrs. Carmichael goes to her employees. "Good job to all of you. I think after today's epic sale and since we sold off tons of items here." They see that a lot of racks are empty and some areas need to be reloaded. "You three have earned a break. So, go ahead and take a three hour break, you all earned it."
Fiona and Miguel smile. "Yes! Next stop, the new pizza place" said Miguel. "You tagging along Michelle?"
Michelle smirks. "No thanks, I think I'll be here and help keep an eye on the place."
"Michelle, I think you need a break. You earned it after a long day of work" said Mrs. Carmichael.
"Sorry Mrs. C, but I spent a whole day in bed after getting hurt bad, and right now I think I need a day to give back for not being around" said Michelle. "Also, I think the register is shaking and shuttering."
They all look to the register and fear is in their eyes. "Here we go." Fiona has the bucket ready, and then Michelle opens the register and tons of cash come out and all hit the bucket. "Prepared this time!"
They see that what's left in the register are twenty dollar bills. While the big cash is in the bucket and is almost full. "Wow. We must've gotten tons of customers to get this kind of cash" said Mrs. Carmichael.
"There were tons of tourists and not the ones who were brought here by conmen, the tourists who came here under legal agencies and they seem to be the rich kind too" replied Michelle. She then grabs the bucket and looks at all the money. "This is gonna be a while to sort out, and like I said, I don't need a break, and I'm okay here right now."
"Okay then, we're still bringing you back something to eat" said Miguel. "See you later Michelle." Miguel and Fiona then walk away from Reiningers to go to the new pizza place in the mall, while Mrs. Carmichael makes some calls for anything on new product for the store.
Michelle then puts on a hat worn from gambling and she begins to sort out all the cash from the register and she shuffles it all like cards and keeps track on what would be used for paycheck and what would be used to pay for the whole store and cash for payment to new merchandise.
"Hey Michelle!" The woman smiles and she sees the two family members she knows and loves, Lincoln and Luna. She then puts the cash away.
"Hey guys, what bring you here to Reiningers? Well, besides the shopping, but I doubt there would be anything for you guys to purchase" replied Michelle.
Lincoln and Luna see tons of merchandise is gone. "We can see that. Dang, looks like a stampede came and took everything to go" said Luna.
Michelle chuckles. "Darn right they did, thank goodness you guys left, the tourists were so interested in the clothing and most seem French. So, what are you guys here for anyway? Shouldn't you two be getting ready for tomorrow?"
"We got that all sorted out dude, we just wanted to know if you're ready for tomorrow" said Lincoln.
Michelle chuckles. "The manager of the Luna-Tics. Dang, must be one epic thing for me to do, I mean the offer was from months ago and I'm still not much of a manager since you guys got Luna for that one."
"True, true. But we need someone who has lawyer smarts and knows her ways through contracts and swindling dorks" replied Luna. "You fit the whole bill and the job too."
Michelle smiles. "Well, after talking with my colleagues and boss, they said that it was fine, since the store will be closed on Saturday. Something about a funeral for Mrs. Carmichael's mom."
This shocks Lincoln and Luna. "Oh dang. We're so sorry for that one, not gonna be easy for her kid to get over" replied Lincoln.
"Yeah, but they have to move on and chances the place could be closed till Tuesday, due to some mourning and some getting used to having no grandma around the world of the living" replied Michelle. "Now, about tomorrow. We know we have everything ready, even the gear, and we have to keep an ever watchful for any signs of trouble, okay?"
They all nod. "Chunk has the gear ready and FutureTech is gonna be the ones to escort us to Georgia with some top notch transportation" said Luna.
"Sully, Mazzy and Sam are locked, stocked and ready to perform the national anthem when the whole thing begins" replied Lincoln. "But we have to be careful of the one woman whose gonna be there."
They all sigh in annoyance. "Katie Crest." They all don't like that name and they don't like her.
"The very same lady I knew back in Hollywood and is as notorious as Doug, and let's just say those two got intimate once and then broke it off" replied Michelle.
That one they did not know. "Whoa. Major trivia fact there dude, she hates you for thinking you and Doug are lovers?" asked Luna.
Michelle scoffs. "I did have a small liking for Doug, but we remained friends and that was it. But Katie seemed to be jealous of me and how I pair up with Doug as managers and co-workers. We just need to be careful for what might happen tomorrow and on the Summer Musical tour next year."
"We made the rules, we have the plan and the contract have been signed" said Lincoln. "There is no way she can be able to make us do what she wants and no way can she change our course of actions."
"Then all we gotta do now, is wait for tomorrow to hit" said Luna.
They then high five, then Lincoln recalls something. "Oh right." He then grabs something in his bag, and he hands it to Michelle. "Here, this is something Jordan wants you to enjoy, it's from her mom's restaurant and we know how much you like this."
Michelle opens it and smiles. "Wow. Chocolate and mocha cookies, the way they make it at that restaurant always has me wanting more of this." She then looks to Lincoln. "The next time Jordan comes by, I'll be sure to thank her and thank you for bringing them here. Where is she anyway?"
"Jordan had to go home and check on the new FutureTech upgrades to her home, can't believe tons of houses around town wants a FutureTech upgrade, and I can't blame them" replied Luna. "So much stuff has happened and they all wanna keep their eyes and ears up for when new trouble comes and then we beat the crud out of it and send it running back crying home."
"Even my friend Liam, he said that his mom and dad and memaw are now having some new harvesters and some new way to get electricity without paying bills" replied Lincoln.
"So much is changing and all for the better. Royal Woods has changed since the whole court thing" said Michelle.
"But the real change was when you came and helped bring in some indiscriminate justice to the town after some fake ghost hunters and idiot tourists with con artists" replied Luna. "If it wasn't for you, then none of this FutureTech upgrades would even exist."
They fail to see two customers come in and check out some winter jackets, but they're not here for the jackets.
"True, I am recognized and people still call me a hero, sort of" replied Michelle Lewis. "But I don't wanna be treated like a hero, I just wanna be like everyone else. A normal lady who's trying to look for a good living away from the dark past of being a show biz woman."
"And we're all dang proud at who you've become now" said Lincoln. Michelle is touched by this, she then walks away from the register and she hugs Lincoln and he returns the hug as well.
Luna smiles seeing this. 'When the big party on December 24th hits, then we're all gonna have a lot of fun being one big happy Family. I should also setup get us ready for when we have to see….. Junior soon.'
The two figures then go towards Michelle who departs from the hug. "Oh, hello and welcome to Reiningers. You two ready to check out what you have purchased?"
"You don't recognize us do you?"
Michelle is confused. "What?" Seeing this as a first warning, Luna has her FutureTech pistol ready and Lincoln goes behind Michelle and she places her hand on his head to keep him calm.
The two figures then remove their hoodies and Michelle is wide eyed at who she sees. "Oscar? Emily?"
Oscar S. Lewis – in his early 40's. Long brunette tied into a ponytail, but the front of the bangs looks like Michelle's style and he has a goatee. Wearing a red shirt, brown hoodie jacket and dark gray jeans with black boots.
Emily J. Lewis – in here late 30's. Long brunette hair and is flopped to one side, but the style in the back of the hair looks like Michelle's. She's wearing a yellow shirt, dark brown hoodie with the logo of a bull, blue jeans and brown winter boots.
Both of them are siblings and the cousins of Michelle Lewis.
"Good to see you again Michelle" said Oscar. "Been a long, long time."
"So, the rumors are true. Someone last named Lewis is here and has made a living fir herself" said Emily.
Michelle felt nervous. "W-What the heck are you two doing here?"
"We came to see if the rumors were true and they seem like they are, also we'd like to tell you something important is gonna come up next year." Oscar hands her a letter.
Michelle sees the letter and she opens it and she reads it.
"The Lewis Family reunion is set to be held back home at Fresno California, on January 16 2021. All members of the family are to attend for a big celebration – yours truly; Bernard Jameson Lewis Sr."
Michelle is wide eyed, but then she looks to her cousins confused. "What is this? Why are you giving this to me?"
"Because, you are a Lewis and all Lewis's must attend the reunion, it is tradition" replied Emily sternly.
But Michelle is pissed off. "Tradition? Wow. Well, where was the same god damn invitation for me last year? I checked the mail and there was nothing."
"That's because we didn't give a damn about you back then, but after hearing what had happened. The whole family, especially Papa Bernard wishes for you to come and confront the family" replied Oscar.
Michelle then sees the whole picture and she has a deadly shotgun glare, similar to Luna.
"Oh, I see where this is going. After all the times I said I was gonna come and celebrate the reunion, and now you guys want me to come and not kick me out. Funny, I thought I wasn't even a Lewis. That was the time when I went to my parents funeral and all of you said that I wasn't family anymore! You never even let me explain what I was gonna say!"
"Yes, we all said that. But that was before and now we all wish to see you once again Michelle, all of us" said Oscar.
"They wish to speak to you about what has been happening" said Emily.
Michelle crosses her arms. "Because I became the woman who took down an entire organization of con artists alongside these two, who I call family?" Lincoln and Luna stand with her and look to the two Lewis siblings sternly.
Oscar and Emily can see that the tensions are going to rise. "Yes, I guess that makes sense. We all wanna see the one Lewis her made a big mark and the family name proud" said Oscar.
"You led a court scenario to end an illegal system, and then led them to rally against a heinous act of crime" said Emily. "Everyone wishes to come and speak to you, we're all proud of you."
Michelle is not amused. "My parents would be proud. They would be proud at the woman I have become and how much I have changed and earned the redemption and forgiveness to the folks I wronged, the folks of Royal Woods Michigan."
"What would mom and dad say to those who were once family? What would they say after you casted me out of their own funeral, when I had so much stuff to tell them on how sorry I was?! What kind of family doesn't even let the distant member become part of something worth going to?!"
Lincoln then speaks. "The kind of family I once was and when I look at it, the family Michelle was once part of, kinda puts back the old family of the Louds. The ones who almost got me killed, kinda make sense that Michelle and I have so much in common when it comes to the past and mistakes."
This makes Oscar and Emily shocked. He compared the Lewis family to the family who was called the worst act of Child Neglect and Abuse in America. "How dare you? We are nothing like them" said Oscar.
"We are not like the fools who did this life to you" said Emily. "And you do not get to speak to us."
"He has the rights to dorks, and that's my son you're talking too! Michelle's nephew!" said Luna.
Oscar and Emily are shocked. "What?"
Michelle smirks. "Read the name tags, twiddle dee and twiddle dumb." They then see her name tag and the name on it. "Hi, my name is: Michelle Lewis Loud."
This shocks them. "You….. You have been brought into another family? Why?!" asked Emily.
"Because she was outcasted by her family, and my kid and I know what that's like" replied Luna. "So we let he be part of the loud name and be part of our family and home. She's our auntie and also a good friend and when you mess with her, you mess with all of us."
Oscar and Emily are shocked to hear this. "And us too!" They then see the some of the staff and folks of the mall are outside, they all heard what had happened. "And me as well, her boss." Mrs. Carmichael comes out and she has her phone. "I contacted every staff member in the mall, the ones who are friends with Michelle Lewis since she moved into town, into the mall as an employee and gained everyone's trust."
Oscar and Emily then looks to Michelle. "What have you done?" asked Oscar.
"I didn't do anything, you guys came here and did this to yourselves" said Michelle. "Coming back to my life and deciding to take me back just because I made a great name for myself." She then has an idea and she smirks, she then looks to Lincoln and Luna and they whisper something to each other.
Oscar and Emily did not like this. Michelle then looks to her cousins.
"You know what? I'll go to this reunion, just to see how much everyone there is only happy for what I did now and see just how shameful the family has been since my parents passing."
This upsets Oscar and Emily. "Fine!"
"But… Lincoln and Luna are coming with me" said Michelle.
"What?!" said Oscar. "Why?!"
"Because they're family too, my family and the same goes with the resident ghost of the town, Harriet Willard and also Albert Willard and his sweet heart Myrtle and let's not forget Lucy Shapiro and two others who have earned our trust and forgiveness" replied Michelle.
Oscar and Emily didn't like this, Michelle was intending to bring some folks who aren't in the Lewis name into the reunion. But they both cannot go back home with bad news, so they have no choice. "Alright! Alright!" said Oscar.
"Fine, you can bring other folks to the reunion. Just….. Be sure to be there as well."
"We'll inform the rest of the family, we shall see you soon cousin" said Emily.
Michelle chuckles. "Oh, believe me we will, but when the Reunion is over, we won't see each other ever again, and you can count on it."
Oscar and Emily walk away and are ticked off, they pass by the people of the mall and leave the place. They all cheer at how she handled that.
Michelle looks to Mrs. Carmichael. "Thank you Mrs. Carmichael, thanks for letting everyone know."
"Well, I wasn't gonna let one of my staff get into a fight with some rude customers. Everyone in the mall is family, even though we can be quite competitive when it comes to sale" replied Mrs. Carmichael.
Michelle then looks to Lincoln and Luna. "Guys, we have a lot to talk about, about the reunion and we need to make a plan for what might happen."
Lincoln and Luna nod. They know that things could go wrong, they then hug Michelle and she hugs them too.
Looks like they have a Lewis Family reunion to attend next year, but before that happens. They must handle what comes tomorrow.
