We're close to seeing her, we're close. But now, let's see how Leni is feeling and tell her more about what happened and not just about what Lincoln had to go through. Enjoy reading folks.

Chapter 125: Into comforting arms.
(Bay City Medical Treatment facility.)
Leni Lauren waits at the stairs of the place, she waits in the cold winter but she's warm with the clothing she has and she straightens her glasses and adjusts her ponytail. 'Where the heck are they? They said they'd be here by now.'
She didn't have to wait long, soon a purple Ferrari shows up and parks nearby and coming out is Luna. Leni goes over to greet her, but then she sees Luna get something from the trunk and it looks like a wheel chair.
This makes Leni wide eyed and cover her mouth. "No."
Luna places the wheel chair down and she helps Lincoln out of the backseat and Leni is shocked to see Lincoln, he has casts on his legs and then he's placed onto the wheel chair. Lincoln sets it to hover mode and he goes towards Leni. "Hi Leni."
Leni then goes towards him and she hugs him and sheds some tears. "Oh Linky, I saw everything, I heard everything! I am so, so sorry!"
Lincoln hugs her back and he sheds some tears. "It's okay Leni, everything is okay now. I'm fine, and soon I'll be back on my feet."
Luna opens the other door and Lucy comes out, but with a new look. She is wearing black and gray winter gear, but her right eye is now visible since she made her hair into a ponytail. So, everyone can see her light blue right eye.
Lucy goes over and she hugs Leni as well. Luna goes over and joins in on this. "We have a lot to talk about."
The patients and staff at the rehabilitation center see this through the windows and all of them are shocked to see the boy from the racing incident on a wheel chair. They'd be shocked to see this hover wheel chair, but they're heartbroken to see him not be able to walk, and have deep anger for the boy who did this to him.
They then depart from the hug. "Wait, I thought Jackie, Mandee, Fiona and Miguel would be here. Also, where is Harriet and Michelle Lewis?"
"Sorry dude, but Michelle along with Miguel and Fiona have to get ready for the incoming last days of sale for next week and also Jackie and Mandee have to be ready for some relatives coming to spend the holidays with them as well" said Luna. "Sorry they couldn't come."
"Harriet wants to stay at the house and help keep an eye on things, just to be safe" replied Lincoln.
Leni nods. "It's alright. I understand, now come on. We can talk in my room." They all walk towards the facility to talk about what has happened lately.
(Later.)
Lincoln, Luna, Lucy and Leni are now in her room. Which seems kinda different. "Leni, what the heck? This is your room now?" asked Luna.
"Sure is" replied Leni. "They said I deserved more space, since I have changed so much and classified as a volunteer and patient to the facility."
The room looks like something of a doctors old study room. There is a large bed and a desk that is large enough for her to put tons of books and a desk lamp. There is an AC unit, a closet for her clothing and a personal bathroom. But not just that, there's also a small kitchen for her to make some food and she has her own refrigerator there.
"Nice upgrade and is that a makeshift kitchen?" asked Lincoln.
Leni nods. She goes over and she begins to make some Hot Chocolate. "I still recall how you guys like you're hot chocolate." She then grabs the thermos of hot water.
"Luna likes hers with bits of chocolate chip, Linky prefers four marshmallows and some whipped cream and Lucy would want hers to have some black chocolate syrup and made in a swirl shape."
She then goes back and hands them their drinks. "Enjoy guys."
They are amazed by this. "Wow. Leni, still has the ways of memory on what we like. Thanks" said Lucy.
"No problem, and I see you chose to change your look. It's nice to see you show some visual of the eyes you've been hiding" said Leni as she sits next to Lincoln near the bed.
"I thought it would be a good idea, I am growing up after all and I wanna change and show that I'm not just all doom and gloom. Also, I thought maybe the world is ready to see my eyes, just not both of them. One step at a time" said Lucy.
Lincoln smiles. "Good for you Luce." He drinks his hot chocolate. "Leni, how are you even able to afford this food and stuff?"
Leni smiles. "They pay me."
They stop drinking and look to Leni. "What?"
Leni smiles. "You heard me, they actually paid me." She then shows them her lockbox and then she shows them what's inside and they see some dollar bills and coins. "The lady in charge of the place decided that the rest of my education is doing so well, that I have been dubbed clinically cleared and said that I can leave whenever I want."
"But you chose not to?" asked Luna.
Leni nods. "I knew I wouldn't be able to start a new life in Royal Woods yet and so I wanna earn some cash first then make it back home. So, the manager hired me and now I work and live here. Rent free of course."
Lincoln smiles. "Wow. That's great, you have been cleared and now you're enjoying this small job to earn some cash. Nice one Leni, but you could just come and live with us back home."
"I know that" replied Leni. "But, I wanna continue to help the folks here so they can have their lives back too. But, I promise that I will be back when summer hits, okay so somewhere around summer and that's when I come back to Royal Woods."
"That's a choice and path you made Leni, and I support that" said Lucy. "Also, how are things here when they heard about what happened?"
Leni sighs. "Well, you can say everyone hated what happened and were worried about you. I kinda broke down crying and they had to comfort me, but I was back to my normal self when I heard that you were gonna make it, but it hurts for me to see you like this Linky."
Leni goes closer and she hugs Lincoln. "Oh Lincoln, I wish I could've been there to stop it! You went through that pain, and nearly died. I don't know what I'd do if you ended up gone."
Lincoln hugs her as well. "Easy there Leni, take it easy. I'm fine now and the doctor said that I'll be back on my feet on Saturday, which is when I get the casts off."
They then depart from the hug and Leni looks to them. "That's good to know. As long as you're still alive and well, then I'm happy." She then kisses his forehead and then looks to Luna. "When's the court hearing?"
Luna was wondering when she'd ask that. "Friday, Royal Woods Court house of law and we got the best judge that you and Lori and the others know and it won't be that kid who gets slammed by the law book."
Leni knows who she means. "The other guy who works as the new guy in Bobbie Fletcher's pit crew?"
"The very same one" said Lucy. "Also, do you know who Bobbie Fletcher is?"
Leni nods. "With my brain no longer the same dumb self. I recalled Lana talk about her, Lana was a big fan of Bobbie Fletcher that she would beg to go to her race when it was nearby Royal Woods. Something Lynn Sr and Rita were so weak into not able to say no. Lola begs for things she wants that is for her and Lana begs for things she thinks is right for her."
"Speaking of which, Leni do you wanna go back to Royal Woods and be there for the whole court thing?" asked Lincoln.
Leni is shocked and then nervous. "Umm, i….."
Luna can tell something was up and Lincoln and Lucy can see it as well. "Leni, it's okay. We understand, we know it's hard for you since the whole court hearing sounds like the past that we all went through."
Leni wipes away some tears. "Sorry guys, I wanna be there to support you all and see that idiot get sent to jail with his friend, but the whole thing is gonna make me feel bad and possibly go through some mental break down. It brings back to many bad memories and mistakes."
Lincoln and Lucy hug her and Luna places her hand onto her shoulder.
"We understand Leni, it's alright. You can stay here and we can setup a radio so you can hear the whole thing. How about that?"
Leni smiles and she hugs the two kids. "Yeah, I'd like that." They then depart from the hug. "So, how did it go with Lori?"
"Well, we didn't go and see her. But she heard and she's angry and so are the guards, inmates and the warden" said Lincoln. "Lori said that… That she's coming to the court hearing."
Leni is shocked to hear this, but then she nods. "I understand what she has to do. She wants to be there to see it all go down and to make sure that the kid and his friend don't ever come back out. At least she's changing for the better, sure wish I could see her again soon."
"Chances you will dude, recall the letter I sent you about the plan for December 24?" asked Luna.
"Oh, well I got it today. But I didn't open it yet." Leni looks to the letter on her desk. "I'll read it later when we're done here. Now, I need to know if you guys did it. Did you guys go and talk to Luan?"
The whole room goes silent and this confuses and concerns Leni. "Guys, what's going on?"
Lincoln looks away. "Linky? Linky are you okay?"
Lincoln moves his hovering wheelchair to look out the window and Lucy joins him.
Leni looks to Luna, "What happened?"
Luna sighs. "We did it, we went to see Luan. We went to see her and it went down bad real fast."
Leni is confused. "Luna, what happened?"
Luna then tells Leni about what happened, but they whisper it to each other so Lincoln and Lucy don't have to hear anything, it hurts Lincoln to even recall how demented and vile Luan has become.
Leni is wide eyed and shocked to hear this. Luan, has lost it, she has become something else worse than her pranking self. Luan has turned into a maniac, with a split personality and the thrill of seeing someone get hurt and then laughing at their suffering.
"Luna, I'm sorry. I didn't know it turned out like that" said Leni.
Luna sighs. "It's okay Leni, what happened….. Happened. Chances we won't go back and see her, but the Doc there said he'll keep me informed on what's her current condition and if she got worse, but I need to make sure Linc doesn't know."
"Luan said words that were too much and too dark even for Lincoln to hear and it shook him to the core. After we went to see her, we both ended up with blood curdling nightmares that made sleeping not an easy task. We weren't ourselves after that whole thing, but it was only for one night for the both of us to feel this sense of caution and fear, then we were back to normal."
"Is he still shaken up?" asked Leni. They both look to Lincoln and Lucy who are now hugging each other.
"Sorta, but he'll manage just as I did. Lucy is trying to do the same and the same goes with Maggie, but we're not telling anyone else. Not even the clown friends Luan once knew" said Luna.
Leni then goes over and she kneels down to Lincoln's level. She can see some tears in his eyes and he hugs her. Leni also hugs him back and she does what she can to calm him down, and then she looks to Lucy. "Come here Luce."
The little Goth girl wipes way some tears and she goes into the arms of her former big sister and cries into her shirt alongside Lincoln. "There, there you two. Everything is gonna be okay now, it's not gonna happen again."
Luna also joins in this hug. But as they hug each other, Leni has something in her thoughts.
'Somewhere, somewhere in there is Luan. Luan is in there and she's trapped. She needs help, she needs someone to make her feel like her old self again, but not the pranking girl she was once before'
Leni looks to the photograph of herself and all the patients who came to thank her for helping them recover and then she has an idea.
'If I can help my friends of this place return to the lives they can go back to, then maybe I can help Luan as well. I just need to make sure Lincoln doesn't know about this, but should I tell Luna?'
That will be for another time. Leni continues to soothe and clam down the crying kids, with the help from Luna.
Leni then looks to the letter she did not open. The letter from Luna, and her plan for December 24.
But among the letters, there is one from Lori, another from Lynn Sr, one from Rita and a letter from her friends and one from….. Lynn Jr.
