Diana and her friends are still falling asleep on their seats. They are coming back home from Phoenix as a matter of fact. They have already said goodbye Brianna before they leave of course. They will wake up when they look at the window by the way. They have been falling asleep after they left Phoenix. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will be arriving back home.
"Are you awake?" Sue asked.
"Yes, I am, Sue." said Diana.
"Did you have a good nap, Di?" Nancy asked.
"I sure did, girls." said Diana. "In fact, we have been falling asleep after we left Phoenix."
"We can look at the window." said Sue.
"That sounds like a good idea, girls." said Diana.
They looked at the window and saw that they are almost home.
"We are almost home, girls." said Diana. "Make sure that we put our seatbelts on."
Diana and her friends have put their seatbelts on, and the plane has arrived at the airport.
"We are here, girls." said Diana.
"I hope you enjoy the rest of your day, girls." said the flight attendant.
"We sure will, ma'am." said Diana. "See you later."
Diana and her friends are now leaving the plane.
"We better go to the baggage claim, Di." said Sue.
Diana and her friends are now heading to the baggage claim.
"I can see your mom." said Nancy.
"Hi, girls." said Mrs. Evans. "How was your trip to Phoenix?"
"It was good, mom." said Diana. "We just saw the groundbreaking ceremony of the new bathhouse."
"That is good." said Mrs. Evans. "Did you stay at Brianna's?"
"We did, mom." said Diana. "I see our suitcases."
Diana and her friends have got their suitcases.
"I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Phoenix." said Mrs. Evans.
"Brianna told me to say hi." said Diana.
"That is nice of her." said Mrs. Evans. "Are you ready to go home?"
"We sure are, mom." said Diana.
"Let's go, girls." said Mrs. Evans.
Diana and her friends went to the car and left the airport. See what happens in the next chapter of this long story.
