It's only been 24 hours, and now this is gonna be happening. Lincoln will get over the fear, and perhaps he will accept the talk with the twins. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 144: Small steps now.
( The Loud House.)
Lincoln is waiting inside the purple Ferrari for his mom to come and drive him to school, Luna is inside, but then she walks out and she looks to her phone, and sees a notification.
" This Friday night, SMOOCH is coming into town for the first awesome concert this year for Royal Woods. Preorder now before tickets go out! "
Luna smile seeing this. ' Maybe some time with Linc can help us both feel okay this year, and maybe I can ask Sam if she has any plans this Friday and if possible, see if Jordan has any plans as well. Then it can be an awesome concert double date.'
She then gets her keys and she opens the door to the car and she sees her son, Lincoln all buckled up. "You ready for school, kiddo?"
Lincoln nods. "As ready as I'll ever be mom."
Luna then asks. "Before we go, I wanna know if Jordan has any plans this Friday."
Lincoln then recalls. "She does have something to do this Friday, she's gonna be hanging out with her parents at a movie night. Why do you ask?"
Luna is a bit disappointed at that, but she understands. "No reason, it's just that I got something big planned for us this Friday, and since she won't be there to chill with us, I guess it could be just you, me and Sam. How's that sound?"
Lincoln smiles. "That's' fine mom, and to be honest I got a date to setup for Saturday night, me and Jordan."
Luna then ruffles her son's hair and kisses his cheek. "My little man, making big plans to make his special lady happy. I'm proud of you, Linc."
Lincoln chuckles. "Thanks mom."
They then drive away from the house, and head on to school, all while Harriet is waving goodbye to them.
She then walks out of the house and sees a snow flake fall from the sky. ' Hmm, looks like the weather man with the weird name was right, snow storm is inbound, but not until tonight. We'd best be careful.'
( Royal Woods elementary School.)
Lincoln's friends are all talking about when Lincoln arrives, and with them is Lisa and Lucy. They then meet up with Jordan. "So, same as yesterday, right?"
They all nod. "We make sure Lincoln doesn't run into or interact with Lola and Lana Johnson" said Chloe.
"We ensure that the twins are redirected off course to someplace else and same with Lincoln" said Lisa.
"We watch over them, and make sure they don't make any form of trouble or have Lincoln fall apart" said Lucy.
"And when the day is done, we got for some pizza!" said Rusty. They all look towards him confused. "What? Come on, I can't be the only one who wants pizza."
They all think about it, and they kinda agree with him. They could use some pizza when the day is done.
"Guys, here they come!" said Clyde. They all spot the purple Ferrari arrive and coming out is none other than Lincoln, he then says goodbye to Luna and he watches as she drives off to her school. Lincoln then walks over to her friends.
"Hey guys, I could only guess we're doing the same thing as yesterday, right?"
They all nod. Jordan goes towards him. "Are you feeling okay, Lincoln?"
Lincoln smiles. "Sort of, no nightmares, but I was kinda nervous last night and so I bunked with my mom to keep me from losing my cool."
"Good for you Lincoln, the one person in your life is the one person to keep you feeling comforted and not losing the emotions within" replied Haiku.
"That was deep." clapped Lucy.
Lincoln sighs. "Well, here we go guys, day two of being back in school." They all walk into the school and keep an eye out for the twins of Mrs. Johnson, but they didn't know the twins were underneath a tree and spotted them.
Lana looks down with sadness. "Sure wish we could talk to him, this bites it Lola."
Lola places a hand on her sister's shoulder. "Lana, I feel the same way too, but we cannot go anywhere near him and risk being in deep trouble."
"I know, we should go into the school now, before the bell rings" replied Lana. The twins then walk into the school and they even meet up with Meli Ramos.
But they're unaware of a family van that arrives and a girl walks out and is very familiar to the twins, and she does spot Lola and Lana walk into the school. ' Well, well. The day I come back from my long vacation and those two also come back, time to see what those runts are up to.'
She is unaware of the cameras looking at her. They all spot the rich girl and continue to follow her movement, because she's been trouble since last year.
( Royal Woods High School.)
Luna walks down the halls of the High School, greets the Principal and then looks for her blonde haired girlfriend, and she spots her. "Sam!"
The blonde Sharp teen sees Luna and goes towards her. "Hey Lunes, what's up?"
Luan then shows her the notification and this makes Sam smile. "You got a plan to bond with your kid?"
Luna smirks. "You know me too well babe, but I do gotta ask. You got any plans this Friday?"
Sam then closes her locker and they both walk together. "No, why?"
"Well, I had this other plan, where it could be just me, Linc and you in for the whole concert. We can this big bonding moment, just the three of us" said Luna. "What do you say to that plan, Sammy?"
Sam smiles and thinks about this. "Wow. That does sound awesome…. Oh heck, sure I'll be part of it. I'll tell my 'rents and Simon, and I know they'll be cool with it. If I recall, I kinda see Lincoln as my kid too."
Luna smiles and kisses Sam's cheek. "You're the best babe, and Lincoln is gonna be so stocked about this." Luna then gets her phone out and she clicks preorder and now the tickets are on their way to the Loud House. "This Friday is gonna be rockin'!"
Even Sam seems excited for this, then she asks. "How's Linc doing?"
Luna's smile is now a concerned look. "Well, he's doing better than he was yesterday. But when the night comes a shining, then he needs some comfort, he doesn't wanna have the nightmare again and he fears it'll come back, but worse."
"He needs his mom, you know that and you're doing great at it" said Sam. "Which is why I try to be as good as you are when he's hanging out with me."
Luna smiles hearing that. "You don't have to be like me, Sam. Lincoln looks up to you as well, as a mom too. I just wish I could help him out more, be there for him when he needs me the most, I know deep down he's still shaken from the aftermath of the whole bad luck thing."
"At least he doesn't have a fear of baseball" said Sam. "Is he still avoiding the twins?"
Luna nods. "We have to ensure he does not break down, or even lose his cool. Otherwise it won't end well on Lincoln's end and on the twins end, and if the twins get affected, then so does Mrs. J, and I do recall when I had the parent teacher meeting, she said she has till the end of this school year and she…… She's gonna be out of the job."
"Dang. I guess those records from what you said have been caught up, does this have something to do with the school board?" asked Sam.
"Obviously, I mean the detectives showed them the actions of Coach P and Mrs. J, back when Lincoln was in the 5th grade and going through some rough times, let it be from dangerous obstacle courses, the student business project and that ding dang keep green assignment thing" said Luna.
Sam recalls that one. "And she had the nerve to call the baby polar bear after her? What the heck is up with her in that head of hers?"
Luna sighs. "No clue Sammy, but at least things aren't gonna be so bad." They then walk off to their first class of the day, but deep down Luna has a bad feeling that something is gonna happen to her son at his school later.
( Back to the elementary School.)
The school day is done and Lincoln walks out of the school first, since he heard from his friends that Lola and Lana are not in the school at the moment and probably left early.
Lincoln then sees his mom hasn't arrived, and so he decides to wait by the back of the school because he has some things to think about.
' What the heck am I gonna do? I mean, I don't seem skittish anymore, even if the twins might be around, but the fear of an alligator is all that haunts me. I gotta find some way to get over this issue and then things won't be so stressful anymore. I need a plan, but what kind of plan and how would it work.'
He then recalls that the twins could be regretful and wish to talk to him, but deep down, he's not ready to talk to them.
As he makes his way to the back of the school, he overhears some talking and he goes to check it out and he's shocked to see Lana, and she's being insulted by this girl who he seems to see as someone familiar.
"Leave me alone! Don't you have anything else better to do?!" said Lana as she sits on the bench and looks away from the girl.
The girl smirks. "I don't have anything else to do, but to see what the runt has to say. The girl with no big family, must be sad to have no one else trust you anymore, much like that dang dog you once had, which isn't here anymore."
Who is this girl?
Lacey St. Clair – she is 7 years old, which means her birthday is on the late of January. Dark-skinned little girl with long brunette hair, buckteeth and two pairs of eye lashes. She wears a pink bow, a vanilla colored long-sleeved dress, with a white collar and cuffs along with a white band around her waist, completed with white socks and black Mary Jane shoes.
Lincoln recalls what Lola said to her long ago about this girl, and that she is trouble. The boy watches and sees what's going on.
"What's wrong Lana? You're twin ditch you or something?" said Lacey.
"No! She went to find our friend, Meli. Someone who needs help making friends" said Lana.
Lacey smirks. "That girl is a nervous wreck and I doubt she can make friends, like you and the former pageant queen."
"Leave me alone Lacey!" said Lana as she gets up to walk away. "I don't have time to deal with you."
Lacey then grabs her hat. "Hey! Give me back my hat you bully!"
Lacey then raises it above her and uses her foot to hold Lana away. "Reach for it, like a dog would do, because that's what you always were. A dog, and not even the good kinds either. Now reach and beg for it, mutt!"
Lana begins to shed some tears and try to attack the girl. "Give me back my hat you freak!"
Lacey then kicks her away and Lana lands in the mud. "I am not a freak, you're the freak and someone like you doesn't even deserve to be back in town. The place was better off if you and Lola were never here! You should just leave and never, ever come back! Besides, you don't have family, not anymore!"
"Hey!" They all see who was calling out to her, and Lana is shocked at who it is.
"L-Lincoln?"
Lincoln slowly walks towards the fancy girl. "Leave her alone, and give me the hat."
Lacey scoffs. "And why should i? She's not even worth anything to you, Loud. Why don't you go back with your mom and enjoy your own life, while I settle mine."
Lincoln is now angry. "I'm not asking again Lacey St. Claire! Give me back the hat, and leave Lola and Lana alone!"
His yelling was now scaring her, but she tries to hold her own. "Y-Yeah? What are you gonna do about it?"
Lincoln then looks to the camera and Lacey sees it looking towards her. "I think someone forgot about the whole bullying rules that were applied, and to the fact the cameras are all leading back to the school board and I know right now, Huggins is watching this."
Lacey is shocked to hear this, she forgot about the rule and surveillance. Then she sees Lincoln is in front of her, and he does not look like he's in the mood for any bullies. "The hat, now!"
Lacey nods and she gives him back the hat and runs off. Lincoln sighs and he goes over towards Lana. Lana sees him offer his hand. "Come on Lans. Let's go find Lola."
Lana is confused by this, but she takes his hand and he helps her up. Lincoln then places her hat on and he holds her hand again and leads her to the front of the school.
As Lana looks up to Lincoln, she recalls a memory of the past, when she would be guided by Lincoln as they walked through the park together, and this makes her smile.
( Meanwhile.)
Luna waits by the front of the school, and she looks around. "Where the heck is he?" She then spots Lola and Meli talking to Mrs. Johnson and she asks where Lana is, then Luna realizes. "Shit."
Then they all see someone walking towards the front of the school and this shocks everyone. Lincoln Loud, is holding the hand of Lana Johnson and then she sees her mom and sister and she goes over and they check on her, and so does Luna.
"Lincoln! Are you okay?"
Lincoln nods. "I'm fine mom, everything's alright."
"Lana, I'm sorry I forgot about you, I was so caught up in looking for Meli" said Lola.
Lana hugs her. "It's okay Lola, I understand and I wasn't alone when someone tried to pick on me." they then depart from the hug and Lola sees she has mud. "Oh, sorry."
Agnes then sees Lana covered in mud. "Lana, what happened to you?"
Lincoln then steps forward and points to someone. "She did." They all see the girl known as Lacey St. Claire trying to sneak away. "She was picking on Lana, and then she grabbed her hat and pushed her into the mud and she called her a mutt."
Everyone, and Mrs. Johnson and the teacher of Lana and Lola look to her in anger. "I….. I didn't do anything! You can't…."
"We have the footage" said Principal Huggins. "You, my office now and your mother is behind you."
Lacey then sees her mom and she is cross at this. She is in deep trouble. They both go into the school to see what the cameras have spotted.
Lincoln and Luna then walk back to the car, but then Lincoln turns around and sees Lola and Lana looking at him. "Stay out of trouble girls, I don't want you two getting hurt."
They are shocked he spoke to them, and the others are also surprised and so is Luna, but she smiles knowing that he stood up to the fear and emotional pressure. Why? Because good memories can triumph and fix what is broken.
Lincoln and Luna then walk back to the car, and they drive off.
Lola and Lana smile at this, and they follow Mrs. Johnson into the school to see what Lacey did to Lana earlier.
Everyone else can now see, that Lincoln is back and no longer a mess.
Jordan sighs in relief. "Well, now we can stop with the plan guys, Lincoln Loud is back."
Lisa smiles as well. ' Now I can focus on trying to figure out how to speak with him and Luna.'
They were all happy that Lincoln was back. Rusty looks to the others. "So, pizza?"
