Now, time to see what the rest of the louds are up to, as they go forth with the New Year ahead of them, and also Lincoln and Luna handle something from an episode we have all seen. Enjoy guys.

Chapter 145: A New Year for the Louds.

( The Loud House.)

Luna checks the mailbox and she sees the mail and some letters are inside, she smiles and sees one letter is from the tickets she ordered for the big SMOOCH concert for herself, Lincoln and Sam this Friday night.

"Tonight is gonna be…. Rockin'?" Luna sees the McBride family van go towards the house and coming out is Clyde. "Hey Clyde, what's going on?"

"Okay, so Luna, we had just fumigated the house when we found out there were termites hiding there and at the same time we need to go to a McBride family reunion, and our cat sitter is on vacation. So, can you and Lincoln keep an eye on Cleopawtra and Nepurrtiti?"

Luna blinks. "Umm, sure. I guess. Just as long as they don't cause any trouble."

Clyde then hands her a book. "This will help you and Linc keep an eye on our fur babies." The cats come out and they go towards Luna and purr by her feet.

Luna sees the book. "Dude, why is this thing huge?"

"Oh, well the cats need to be treated well and we know you guys might need some help with their daily needs and schedules. I hope this isn't an issue" said Clyde.

Luna is about to say something, but then Lincoln comes out. "Hey Clyde, and don't worry. We got this." He goes over towards them. "Even though the book is gonna help, I think we can manage the kitties even without the guidelines, at least they're not black."

Clyde and Luna know why, a black cat is a reminder of Cliff, the cat that was once they're pet and he doesn't wanna recall that cat ever again.

"Well, if you say so Lincoln. Take care guys, we need to get going before my dad's casserole comes back to haunt him." Clyde then goes back into the family car and they drive off.

"You're fur babies are in good hands" said Lincoln as he waves goodbye to Clyde. He then looks to the cats and he picks them up and pets them. He then looks to Luna. "What's wrong, mom?"

"I'm a little confused as to why you wanna help in taking care of them" said Luna. "I mean, this book is dang huge and gonna be hard to keep track of."

Lincoln smiles. "Mom, I know what to do. Back when I visited Clyde, I recalled the daily things he and his dad's did with Cleopawtra and Nepurrtiti and I know I can handle them, heck I know they need massages and what time they need to eat and thank goodness there's no classes today."

Luna smiles hearing this, her kid is acting responsible and is back to being Lincoln Loud.

"Alright then Linc, let's take care of these fur babies." They then walk back to the house, Harriet sees this and is confused.

" Why are the McBride cats here and what the heck is with that super book?"

( Royal Woods Juvenile Detention Hall.)

Lori goes about her usual day, she wakes up, goes to the showers and she gets changed into some fresh clothes. She goes and gets something to eat and meets up with her cellmate, Kendall.

She then checks her schedule for the day and she goes to see the Warden and attend, her last class on Anger Management, because she has become a progress in calming down and not letting her anger get out of hand.

Lori then makes her way out of anger management class since it was done for the day, she has passed and she is ready to go, to normal classes and she meets up with her cellmate there.

Lori then looks to the notes in her notebook and smiles. ' A lot of things to do for this new year for me, I hope that when the time comes, then I can go back home from this place and see what I can do with my life. Because I know one thing, and that college won't be something of an easy breeze for me.'

Lori did have this dream to go to Fairway University, but after all she has done during the whole court scenario, she can tell that it might not happen and she doesn't even know if she still has the skills in golf to even show that she could get a scholarship.

But she'll figure it out, soon. She also then recalls something. ' When I do go free, I need to make a last name for myself. The loud name is gone, and I don't think I even wanna be in whatever family Lynnard and Rita have planned.'

She then continues to walk to her classroom, ready for the day ahead of her, and for when Lincoln and Luna come over to visit.

( Medical treatment and rehabilitation facility, Bay City.)

Leni also does a routine as she normally does almost all the time there. She wakes up, though she accidently dropped her alarm clock and she goes to the bathroom to get cleaned and then change into some fresh clothes.

She goes to the makeshift kitchen in her room and she makes herself some coffee, and she checks on the clipboard on who she can help with their mental issues.

She then sees the calendar and smiles, her big test is coming up on Friday and she couldn't wait to pass it and continue with her studies.

Leni finishes getting ready for the day and she begins to walk out of her room, she waves and greets to her fellow friends at the place, and even to the patients. But then she sees a new comer has come.

A man in his late 50's and standing at 6'8, Caucasian male, black hair and a beard and he's wearing a white shirt and looks confused. She recalls someone new did come to the place, and his name is Franklin Coleson.

Leni goes over to him. "Hey, are you lost?" The man just looks towards Leni with nothing to say. "Well, judging by the sound of your stomach, I know you need food. Come on, I can show you where the cafeteria is."

The man nods and she follows Leni who leads the way, but the man keeps looking at Leni, with an intent that no one there knows about.

Leni checks on the letters in her notebook and she sees one of them is from Luna and Lincoln, she then checks on it and just as the man is going to hug her, she turns to the right and he slips and falls down some stairs and lands onto one of the guards.

Leni sees this and goes over to help. "Are you two okay?"

The guard then sees the man. "Wait. How the heck did he get out of his room?!"

Leni is confused. "Wait what?" She then sees a yellow tag under the man's shirt, which means he's supposed to remain locked in his room, and dubbed dangerously unstable.

The guard tries to attack the man to get him restrained, but Franklin manages to counter, but he gets shocked and falls to the ground. Leni holds a taser and is wide eyed.

Soon, some staff come and apprehend the man and they take him away, but as they take him away he just stares at Leni, and deep down, Leni knows that this man might not be done. Now, she has to be cautious in the place she works.

( Traverse City Juvenile Detention Center.)

Lynn Jr wakes up, and feels darn right happy with herself. She then gets off her top bunk and sees her cellmate, Annabelle McCann still asleep.

This makes her smile and she goes over and kisses her cheek. "Sleep tight Annie, I'll wake you up later." She then leaves the cell and makes her way to the showers.

Lynn greets her fellow juvie inmates and she even high fives them, she then sees some of her friends piled up and looking to the warning sign at the showers. "Hey, what the heck's going on?"

One of the inmates responds. "Sorry Lynn, looks like we're gonna be hosing ourselves in the private back quarters for the next two weeks. The showers have been damaged from some kind of problem in the pipes, weird."

"Yeah, weird" said Lynn. She follows some of her friends to the back quarters of the place to get showered up, but Lynn can't help but feel like something is wrong, like someone within made this happen to plan something big.

Lynn then sees Annie walk towards her, the very sight of her cellmate was enough to make her day feel worth looking forward too, but she still feels like something is terribly wrong.

She's not wrong, one of the inmates comes back from her tunnel and she covers it up with her poster and she pretends she's still asleep, with tons of pipes underneath her bed.

Her name? Jill Barbrow, and she has a plan to escape soon.

( State Michigan Correctional Facility, Lansing City. Lansing.)

Lynn Sr opens his eyes and he gets up, he then walks out of his cell and has his eyes closed. He then heads for the showers. "Hang on!" He then goes back to his cell to get his towel, and he sees Gerald slowly beginning to roll off his top bunk!

And he lands onto Lynn Sr. "Gerald, please get off."

Gerald wakes up and sees this. "Oh jeez!" He gets off and helps him up. "Sorry Lynn, you okay?"

Lynn Sr gets up and feels his back. "Well, the good news is my back is doing better, the bad news, the soap is flat now." They both see the soap looks like paper.

"Well, at least it's not crushed. We got a spare right?" asked Gerald.

"Yes, yes we do." Lynn Sr then grabs the soap and he heads out of the cell, while Gerald begins on his morning sit-ups.

With Rita; she finished changing and walks out of her cell, she greets some of her fellow inmates, though they are some who don't like her, such as the big shot lady who thinks she runs the place.

Cassidy Callieman – a foot taller than Rita, a bit muscular and has many tattoos on her arms and legs, born from Lansing City and is there for murder and bank robberies. She literally hates Rita, but she knows not to do anything to get into trouble, not after what happened last month at the main meeting area of the whole compound.

Rita then walks down the halls and she greets two guards, and she sees that one of the inmates have been injured, she doesn't know what happened but it looks like it was from last night.

Rita then sees her husband Lynn and both of them walk down the same halls, holding hands.

"So, ready for another lesson in good parenting?" asked Rita.

"You know it, but I fear it might be the potato sack baby lesson" said Lynn Sr.

Rita chuckles. "Whatever the lessons, I know we can get through them, together and then we can walk out of here and rebuild our lives."

As they walk down the halls, the inmate Cassidy looks to them in anger, this is the reason why she hates Rita, she has someone in her life and they plan to remain together and Cassidy hates couples who stay together.

( Crotus Penn Mental Hospital, Marquette.)

Luan opens her eyes and she gets out of bed, she then gets herself cleaned up. She has a lot of tests to go through, and I don't mean school tests. She may seem calm and stable, but they have to check on her mental state if she is as good as they think she is.

Luan then walks out of her room, unknown to her something ethereal is stalking her through the halls, but she's unfazed by the presence of this apparition and she's used to this spirit being around her now, she's already been scarred so many times to not even bother and stay sane.

Luan then sees Dr. Himmler walk towards her. "Are you ready for today?" Luan nods, and she follows the man down the halls.

But on the way there she spots one of the patients trying to move her wheel chair, but it won't budge. Luan goes over and she helps fix the problem and the wheel chair is now mobile again.

"Thank you, dear."

Luan smiles. "No problem." She then walks back to the doctor who saw the whole thing, she smiles and Dr. Himmler claps, then he's shocked to see something.

"No!"

They turn around and as it turns out, this lady was committing suicide and she needed her wheel chair to move and she's racing out the large window.

Luan sees this and tries to go after her, but it's too late and the woman falls out the window and they hear a painful thud. Luan and Dr. Himmler race to the window with some other staff members and they see the woman lying dead in a pool of her own blood.

Seeing this breaks Luan's heart and she goes down to her knees and cries.

The doctor comforts her and she cries. "Luan, it's okay. You didn't know what she was planning." He didn't even think that was going to happen, and he questions who the hell left that large window open!

Luan helped someone, only for that someone to kill herself. The apparition of the Nurse sees this and then looks to Luan crying. Maybe this will show Luan, that sometimes you need to do whatever it takes, to be your sane self again, or end up down a dark and unstable path to your demise.

( The Loud House.)

The day is nearly done and Michelle Lewis makes it back home, she is a bit exhausted and all because of another big sale at Reiningers. "Dang, this day just got…."

Michelle is surprised to see Luna and Lincoln, both of them fast asleep and in their arms are the two cats from the McBride's; Nepurrtiti and Cleopawtra. Luna's acoustic is near her and she pulls her son close to her as she snoozes away.

Michelle goes over and she places a blanket around the sleeping louds and cats, she then turns around and is startled by Harriet. "Oh what the heck?"

" Sorry, but I came to tell you that the mail came."

Michelle checks the letters and sees one addressed to her. She sighs and she opens it and sees it was a letter from the rest of the Lewis family, she then reads it and is shocked. The Lewis family reunion, is to see who gets the fortune from the eldest in the family.
