Time for a nice bonding moment between Lincoln, Luna and Sam. We have seen this whole thing unfold from some of the recent chapters that involved some bonding moments between Lincoln and Luna, or from Lincoln and Sam and here it is, hope some of you like this. Enjoy reading guys.
Family of Two.
Chapter 147: Friday night trio bonding.
( Nighttime. The Loud House.)
Harriet and Michelle both play some Monopoly, alongside Detective Merris and both look to each other and then they see Harriet look at the others nervous. This makes her smile. " What's wrong ladies? Afraid of a ghost winning this?"
Merris sighs. "Harriet, you've lived for a long time before we did and we know that you know a thing or two about economy smarts."
Michelle nods. "She's not wrong, at this point we're gonna be bankrupt with you owning this game like some kind of heavy duty corporate boss, and I can see a smug look on your face."
Harriet grins. " What smug look?" She knows she's gonna win, she bought all the streets and the electric, water and train stations and Michelle has been sent to jail in the game five times!
"This is not gonna end well for either of us" said Merris. They then hear the sound of some footsteps coming down from the stairs and they see Lincoln and Luna, and both are dressed for the night.
Lincoln Loud– White shirt inside of an orange long-sleeved hoodie jacket with the logo of SMOOCH on the right shoulder, dark blue jeans and a brown belt, and black shoes with purple streaks on them and he has fingerless gloves.
Luna Loud – Black and red striped top, which shows her belly and a purple long-sleeved jacket with the logo of SMOOCH on the right shoulder. Gray knee ripped jeans, purple and black boots with white straps, a white belt with a skull buckle and fingerless gloves and she also has musical note-shaped earrings.
Even if the snow has faded, and it's not gonna be snowing until then. They're both gonna be wearing some jackets and scarfs just in case. The air is gonna be chilly.
"Whoa!" said Michelle with amazement. "You guys look like you're locked and loaded for one heck of a tour, and it's not even summer yet!"
Lincoln chuckles. "Thanks for the compliment Michelle, mom helped me pick this out and I like it a lot. Some part of me thinks I should wear this more often along with the usual clothing I wear."
Luna ruffles his hair. "I do know how to dress to impress when it comes to awesome rock and roll concerts and I want this kiddo to be dressed and ready for one heck of a night, and with Sam along for the ride too."
Lincoln smiles. "Yeah, tonight is gonna be so, Rockin'! We're gonna be jammin' it up and seeing my favorite band, again. A shame Jordan couldn't come, but I understand her plans tonight."
Merris smiles. "Well, have fun you two and try not to get into any trouble as well."
"We'll be fine Merris, what you should be worried about is to the fact Harriet is gonna clean your clocks with her moves and smarts" said Luna.
Michelle groans. "Oh good lord almighty, we know! She's draining us clean! At this point she'll make the cash rain on her!"
Harriet snickers. " What makes you think I would do that kind of move as a victory?"
Merris and Michelle are not pleased by this. "Please don't"
Lincoln and Luna chuckle, they then walk out of the house, with some scarfs around their necks and head to the car, they already had dinner earlier and all they need to do now is rock n' roll with the band they know and love.
They get into Luna's car. "You ready for tonight, Linc?"
Lincoln nods. "Heck yeah I am! So, let's rock and roll, mom!"
Luna starts the engine and they drive off to the concert.
( Royal Woods Theater.)
Luna's Ferrari arrives, and she does park it nicely somewhere that isn't illegal to park, she does see a red car get towed away for parking near a fire hydrant.
Lincoln and Luna then come out and they look to theater. "This is it kiddo, this is where we get to see the band you know and love once again and right at this grand stage of them all in town" said Luna.
"Yeah, this is so exciting. Now, where the heck is Sam at?" Lincoln looks around. "There she is mom!"
Sam Sharp – White shirt with the logo of SMOOCH, a dark blue jacket with black flame streaks at the back and also has the logo of SMOOCH, black bracelets and fingerless gloves, purple knee ripped jeans and dark blue boots with black laces, and red flame shaped earrings.
Luna and Lincoln go over and are impressed. "Dang. Dig the attire babe." Luna goes over and she gives Sam a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks, I picked the right outfit for the night, though the boots I had to improvise and I would've let Simon tag along but he had other plans tonight" replied Sam. "Now, where's my little buddy at?"
Lincoln goes over and hugs Sam. "Glad to see you hang out with us, Sam and I dig the outfit too. You're so ready to rock n' roll with us, well watch the band as they rock n' roll."
Sam chuckles. "Ah, thanks Linc. You two look good yourselves." They then depart from the hug and she looks towards Luna. "You got the tickets babe?"
"Sure do, now let's go and see SMOOCH rock out live once again." Luna, Lincoln and Sam walk to the theater building and Luna hands the tickets to the counter, they then go to the auditorium and see a lot of folks are already there.
"Whoa! This place is almost packed!" said Lincoln. "They all came way before we did. So, how the heck do we get to the front now? Same thing last time, mom?"
Luna thinks about this. "Not sure if that would work again kiddo, this crowd seems way bigger than the crowd back them at your first concert at the mall."
Then the show begins, and they see the band known as, SMOOCH perform their opening song and then everyone rocks out and dances to the jamming beat.
Sam then has an idea. "Luna, recall that when you let Lincoln and Clyde crowd surf to get to the front?"
"Yeah, why?" Luna then realizes. "Oh, right. I got ya babe."
Lincoln is confused. "What? What's going on?" He's then guided by Luna and Sam and they sneak around the crowd, and they all pretend to rock and dance to the beat, Lincoln then recalls how Luna got to the front so fast. She danced her way through!
They continue to do so, and then they make it to the front. They were now up front and seeing the band as they rock n' roll to the crowd.
"Wow! This is awesome!" said Lincoln.
Luna smiles. "We knew it would work, and it still does. Sam and I have done that before, long time ago."
"The trick that helps us get to see the concert way in the front" chuckled Sam.
"Thanks guys! Thank you!" Lincoln hugs Luna and Sam. The two teens hug him back, they then depart from the hug and they rock it out to the beat of the awesome band on stage.
( Bangers n' Mosh.)
The concert being done, it's late at night and this place is still open and this is where they get something to eat. All of them ordered some hot wings, and some sodas and chips.
"Dang. That was one heck of a concert, and we even got to go on the stage and rock with them! That was pretty sick and awesome, and I thought we rocked on stage at our gigs!" said Sam.
Luna chuckles. "They even let me take the axe and rock it solo with the main guitar dude, I guess they know who I am and what I can do!"
"They even let Sam give it a go too!" Lincoln then drinks his soda. "This night, has been the best ever! I got to see another SMOOCH concert, and I even got to be on the stage and see my mom and Sam rock it out together with the band! And they let me take the keyboard too!"
Sam chuckles. "Looks like someone has some adrenaline in his system. Take it easy there, kiddo."
Luna also chuckles at her son's excitement. "We don't want you overloading there Linc, not tonight."
Lincoln calms down. "Sorry, sorry. Just….. This is one heck of a night, and it is getting late and we still don't even feel like snoozing. Thanks Luna, Sam for this night. I loved it, and I loved hanging out with you guys."
Luna and Sam smile hearing this. "You're welcome Lincoln, and I did want all three of us to spend some time together and so we have and even though I don't have anything else planned for us tonight, I knew you'd like it anyway" said Luna.
"We all deserve some time to bond, and it is the new month of the year. So, why not spend this awesome Friday night with just the three of us" said Sam.
Lincoln then goes over and he hugs Luna and Sam. They hug him back, they knew he would enjoy this night, though Luna was the one who knew this would make both Lincoln and Sam happy.
They then depart from the hug. "Now, let's get to eating and then we can see what else we can do for tonight" said Luna. They go back to eating their food, then Sam asks Lincoln something.
"Hey Linc, you plan to send that comic you plan to make soon?"
Lincoln smiles. "Already did that today, now I gotta wait for when Bill Buck calls to tell me how he liked it, and I hope he does like it."
Luna ruffles her son's hair and smiles. "One thing I know, Linc, is that the comics you make are just as cool as the comics you read them, and I know the creator will like it."
Lincoln chuckles. "Thanks mom."
( The Loud House.)
The time is now past 11:50 pm and Luna's Ferrari is at the driveway and the house seems dark, except for the hallway lights. They're still on. Michelle is fast asleep and Merris is back at her home, and Harriet is going through some books and rearranging some she has.
Luna and Sam open the door of the bedroom, and Sam has Lincoln asleep in her arms. They had an awesome night, but why the heck did he fall asleep?
After their small night time snacking at Bangers n' Mosh, they went to enjoy a nice nighttime stroll around Ketcham Park, where they talk about the big plan about next week's Saturday and what might happen at Michelle's family reunion and the whole one week vacation at Honolulu, Hawaii.
They end up skipping some stones and sharing a few jokes to pass the time and even watch the stars in the night sky, and that's when they noticed the white-haired boy fast asleep and snuggling close to Sam.
So, they had to go back home, and here they are now.
Luna watches as Sam let's Lincoln down onto his bed, she removes his jacket, gloves and his shoes and leaves him with his jeans, shirt and socks and she puts the clothing away.
Luna goes over and she watches with Sam as the white haired kid is asleep with a smile on his face, and this makes them smile.
"You know Lunes, I recall you showing me a photo album of when Linc was very young, like toddler or infant young, and he was so adorable to look at. Right now, I feel like he's still the cute little boy from the album" said Sam.
Luna smirks. "You have no idea babe, I have that feeling too. Whenever I watch my kid sleep, I always imagine he's just a little boy in bed, and I'm a proud mom keeping an eye on him."
Sam then looks to Luna. "Did you have this weird dream?"
Luna knows. "A dream where we're both grownups and we're taking care of this baby, who we named Lincoln? Yeah, I did. Months ago, and it still lingers in my noggin'."
Sam strokes Lincoln's white hair. "It's still in my head too, and I loved that dream. So, so much."
"Same" replied Luna. "Just me and you, a married couple and taking care of this white haired baby, who makes our hearts melt when he smiles and snuggles with us in bed. I don't even know why we have those dreams, but they feel dang right."
Sam then looks to her phone and smiles. "Well, looks like my 'rents are cool with me sleeping over, if you don't mind that."
Luna smiles. "Not at all, babe. In fact, I think I got an idea." Luna then gets up and she takes off her jacket and she grabs the large mattress from the walk-in closet and she places it onto the middle of the floor.
Seeing this, Sam knows what the idea is and she helps place the sheets on the mattress and then she helps place some pillows on the mattress. "There, now all we need it…" Luna is shocked to see Lincoln in front of them and he has the briefcase and he opens it.
"We need…… We need this." Lincoln sleepily grabs the large Presidential Seal, the very same one he was in when he was born.
Luna and Sam smile and they take the large cloth. Lincoln then goes to the mattress and he lays down onto one of the pillows and has his Polar Bear plush.
Luna and Sam take off their jackets and shoes, and gloves and they also lay down. They look to Lincoln, he looks to Sam and smiles, and then he looks to Luna and smiles.
Luna pulls him close to hug her and he snuggles close and he slowly closes his eyes. "G-Goodnight….. Mom. Good-Goodnight, Sam. I love you."
Sam goes over and joins in the snuggle and both teens respond. "We love you too Linc." They kiss his forehead and they join him in slumber.
Luna however looks to her white-haired son, the boy she's now assigned as his mom, and she kisses his cheek and whispers. " Goodnight, Linky. Mommy loves you, always my child."
Luna closes her eyes, and she begins to dream. A dream that might not be a dream.
She then opens her eyes and she sees she's a grownup. Wearing a large purple shirt and black panties and she sees her wife Sam asleep on the bed with her and snuggling close to her wife.
Luna then sees the three-month old infant in the middle of their snuggling and he's fast asleep and smiling.
Luna smiles at this sight, and she kisses her infant son and whispers. " Mommy loves you Lincoln, and I will always be there to protect you, always." She closes her eyes and hugs her son close to her, as to never ever let go.
( Real world.)
As they're asleep, they don't know that a raven is watching them and is wide eyed at the dream Luna has, and Sam has the same dream too. The raven is the Guardian, Gyro. " Shit. Looks like our world is close to colliding, with another."
He then flies off through a portal in the sky.
