Chapter 159: Hawaii 3, some new friends.
( Sunrise Hotel and Resort.)
The elevator door opens and coming out of it are none other than Lincoln, Luna, Sam, Michelle, Jordan and her parents and their dog, Ajax and they all decide to have a nice breakfast outside, they do meet with the man who runs the place, Shane O'MacMarvel and of course his cockatoo, Nigel.
"Aloha and good morning, how are you all doing today?"
"Were doing fine sir, well fine as we were yesterday" replied Luna.
Shane sighs. "Yes, i was told about this incident and do not worry. Jeffrey has been dealt with, and his parents have grounded him into the room and he won't be allowed to go anywhere unless his parents are by his side, because the last thing they want, is getting banned from this place."
Jordan sighs in relief. "Thank you sir, you have no idea how much that means to us and we did not want that moron to ruin the rest of our stay here."
"You're welcome, but the ones who told me are the girls waiting for the two of you by the breakfast bar" replied Shane. "They also paid for the breakfast you'll all be having."
The man then walks off and his parrot squawks. "Paid breakfast. Paid breakfast. Runaway bag!" A bag with wheels rolls past him and he goes after it. How in the heck?!
The crew then make it to the breakfast bar and see the two rich girls from the other day. "Hi guys, over here!" They didn't know what to make of this, but they weren't going to let this opportunity pass them and so they go over and eat with them.
"Hey everyone, my name is Hope Pertland and this is my bestie, Gretchen Warwick."
"Nice to see the legendary Royal Woods folks who have been through a lot and yes we know and heard about that. News reaches to Tuscola faster than to the rest of Michigan" replied Gretchen.
"Wow. Umm, thanks, and thanks for the breakfast too" said Lincoln.
"I just wanna thank you girls for chasing away that idiot, Jeffrey. Glad he's not gonna be around and ruin our awesome and fun time together, until we have to leave back to Royal Woods" said Jordan.
"Nothing to it, we knew he might be back and we needed to be sure he was not up to his schemes again" said Gretchen. "That kid has been a nuisance since March when we came here and then he showed up and started thinking he runs the place."
"We come here to make sure that he isn't doing anything stupid" said Hope. "That and we needed a break from school work and thank goodness our school has a one week seminar."
"Huh, we're kinda having the same thing with us back in Royal Woods" said Lincoln. "Also, why does your last names sound so familiar?"
Rick then realizes. "Okay, no I recall. You're dad owns the largest IT industry and your dad runs a lot of power plants around Michigan, right?"
Hope chuckles. "Right you are sir, Pertland power plants and Warwick's IT Technicals and systems. Our family last name is greater than the Silver last name."
"We like how our lives are, and we're not like any other rich mean girl around the country" said Gretchen. "We were both raised properly with manners and our parents are good friends with each other, heck they got married in this hotel."
This amazes them as they eat their breakfast. "Whoa! That sounds sick, you guys sure are the nice bunch and we're glad we met you two" said Sam. "We don't know what would've happened if that kid started a fight with Lincoln over here."
Hope sighs. "Yeah, we already fought him a couple of times when he…… Tried to touch us."
This makes Jordan and Michelle shocked. "Wait, what?!"
Gretchen sighs. "Yup, that moron is responsible for so many acts of perverted stuff when he first showed up last year. We were his first victims and we were just 11 at that point too, and he had the nerve to do that to us? What a maniac."
"Wow. I am so sorry for you girls" said Michelle. "Did he do the same to others?"
Hope scoffs. "Worse, he tried to follow the women to the changing room and spy on them, tried to touch a lady who was sun bathing and then almost snuck into someone room to touch them in their sleep, and it turns out that lady was a guy."
"Oh!" goes Lincoln and Rick. "Sick and twisted burn, he's not gonna wash that off his brain for sure" said Rick.
"But through everything we did to stop him, he still hasn't learned to stop" said Hope. "Heck, he even tried to…… Do something to someone…… Who was, asleep on the beach and no one was looking."
That makes the sound of glass shattering in the heads of Sam, Luna, Michelle and Jesse. "What?"
Gretchen sighs. "He's insane and stupid and we give them warning after warning and nothing gets into his head, and we're trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with his parents too."
"Some part of me can think they're ignorant and stupid" said Hope.
Lincoln sighs. "Bad parenting, here we go again." He looks down and is ticked off at that thought.
Luna looks to her son and she rubs his back and Jordan holds his hand. Hope and Gretchen realizes what they said. "Oh, sorry for making you mention that. We totally forgot that you guys have been through, well worse" replied Hope.
"We know about everything you guys have been through with the…… Old family and stuff" replied Gretchen. "Sorry Lincoln.
Lincoln sighs. "It's all good. I know you didn't mean for those words to come out, it's just….. What the heck is wrong with his parents? Don't they see how badly this is making their kid into something horrible?"
Hope then thinks. "Maybe we can settle that case for next time." They then looks to the group. "Right now we wanna say congrats on winning the Legends of the Hidden Temple last month and now you guys are here."
Luna smiles. "We did our best and had fun. We just won because of those two stinkers, they were the ones in the wrong the whole dang time."
Gretchen chuckles. "No kidding, we did not like those guys at all."
Jordan then asks. "So, what do you guys do back home? Any friends? Loved ones?"
Hope and Gretchen decide to tell them as they all continue to enjoy the food. "Well, we came here for some rest and relaxation from the hustle and hustle of 6th grade and all" said Gretchen. "And also because, Hope and I put someone in juvie."
All of them are shocked to hear this. "Wait what?"
Hope nods. "It's true, oh it's dang true. Her name is Leslie Silver, and I think she might be disowned along with her posse, Karen, Regina and Chastity. They were responsible for the death of three students and tried to bribe their way saying they didn't do anything."
"Whoa! Now that sounds horrible!" said Jesse. "How did she got sent away though?"
"We did" replied Gretchen. "They didn't think we were there and were witnesses to their crimes and then we told the cops and the whole thing was made real and it turns out there were some security cameras that saw the whole thing."
"So goodbye Leslie and hello non-mean rich girls in Tuscola" replied Hope. "It's never felt better in a long, long time. School is gonna be peaceful, but at the cost of some good three students."
Luna is shocked about this incident. "Bullies, they never know when to quit and this is what they get for going way too far." Deep down, it sounded like what happened at the Bad Luck fiasco.
"Dang. I sure do feel sad about them, but at least their deaths were avenged right?" said Lincoln.
"Yeah, the whole town was happy it was all over and we managed to help keep the peace with so many awesome ideas to help the school, and even to the Middle School and High School" replied Gretchen.
"We were not going to let some more bullies ruin the good name of Parkinsville, Tuscola anymore" said Hope. "No one is gonna be messing with our friends and families and all the good folks there."
Rick claps. "Glad to see some good to honest rich folks standing up for the others."
"We do the same too" replied Jesse. "We do not let other people from the outside mess with our good friends and families."
"Which does seem like something Royal Woods and Parkinsville seems to have in common" said Jordan. "Glad we met with you girls and glad we're getting to know you two."
Gretchen smiles. "We're must glad you guys are alright after what happened yesterday."
"And if you guys need some moments to bond, then we got your backs" said Hope. "One thing we know, is that Jeffrey can be crafty and chances he might bail on his grounding."
Sam scoffs. "He's gonna get a beating if he thinks he can try something."
Gretchen then asks. "You guys wanna check out the birds around the resort, you might catch a glimpse of the rare Sphinx Macaws."
"Wow. I heard about them, those guys are endangered" said Jordan. "You guys have them here?"
Hope nods. "This isn't just a resort and hotel guys, this whole place is also a wildlife sanctuary in keeping rare and endangered species of birds alive, from those who lost their homes from deforestation and poachers."
"And we're doing our part and helping stop the whole issue, well we're trying" replied Gretchen.
They all continue to talk about anything else they should know from each other, and are now making good friends with the two rich girls, Hope and Gretchen.
They failed to notice the Collinsworth family overheard this and are walking away from the breakfast bar, they felt ashamed and are thinking that the folks were right. They are bad parents and haven't been there to stop or even help Jeffrey and his dark deeds.
Jeffrey on the other hand is angered by this. ' The nerve of them! Calling me trouble, I'm just having a good time, so why won't they let me? And why did they mention that other issue of me and that dude?! God, I hate them! I fucking hate them!'
He then has an idea. ' I am not letting them get away with this and should they begin to leave, I'm gonna make sure I land my mark on one of them.' He then eyes Michelle who is laughing with the others. ' And I know just the lady to target, this is gonna be dang good!'
( Later.)
After some nice breakfast, they all walk towards the jungle area of the resort which surrounds the whole place and they begin to explore the place.
"Watch your step guys, and be careful where you might trip" said Hope. She and Gretchen lead the group and they stumble upon and large area with a small waterfall and a lot of tropical birds.
The group is amazed by this, so many colorful birds of different species and all of them protected and to be restored to stop them from being endangered.
"Oh man! The Changs at Great Lakes City are gonna be blown away from this!" Michelle then takes some pics and some of the birds sit on her shoulders. "Hey there fellas."
Ajax goes around and sniffs the parrots and they sniff at him and fly around and he playfully chases them, Rick and Jesse also let the birds sit on them.
Luna looks to the parrots and has one on her shoulder. "These guys look way better than the one at the Casagrandes." She then pets the parrots head. "How're you holding up there Sam? Sam?"
They all see Sam with so many parrots, parakeets and four Sphinx macaws on her. "Yup, I am good with the animals!" The light shining with the birds flying for some reason made her look like a saint.
"Okay, where the heck did that lighting come from?" asked Rick.
"Good enough to take a pic though" said Michelle with her camera. "Smile for your 'rent's back home!"
They all chuckle seeing this.
Lincoln and Jordan then looks to Gretchen and Hope. "Thanks for letting us have this fun moment, we're happy to have made some new friends" said Lincoln.
"Sure is nice to have some friendly company, and the best kind of company who know how to be there for others and face trouble head on" said Jordan.
Hope and Gretchen smiles. "The pleasure was all ours."
They all enjoy the rest of this moment with all the amazing and colorful birds, they are definitely going to treasure this moment, for sure and along with their new gal pals, Hope Pertland and Gretchen Warwick.
Day 3, to the 5 Day stay in Honolulu, Hawaii.
