Chapter 10.
Darkness at Hosu.
Endeavor's agency.
Todoroki creates a wall of ice to defend against a fire attack. After that, he covers his body with ice and charges at his rival, Endeavor. Todoroki attacks with a punch of fire, however Todoroki's ice armor resists the attack, and he punches his father in the face.
Endeavor doesn't flinch from the attack and ignites his flames causing Shoto to back up. – "Okay, that's enough."- Endeavor said as he reduced his flames to their normal state. Shoto melts the ice from his body. – "Well done, Shoto, you've improved a lot, you managed to create a countermeasure for your weakness, fire."- Endeavor said in a somewhat proud tone.
- "T-Thanks…"- Shoto said with some nerves, he still can't get used to the change his father had these last days. He still remembers the day he came to his father's agency.

Flashback.
One day before.
Shoto entered his father's office. – "I see you decided to do your internship here."-
- "You are the one who knows my quirk best, besides, I want to see if what you said is true, if you will really change or stay the same."- Shoto said.
- "I see, training for you and a test for me. Very well."-
- "Now what?"- Shoto asked.
- "I will help you train your quirk, as well as take you on some patrols with me so you can gain experience in the field."- Endeavor gets up from his chair. – "Come on Shoto."-
- "I'm your intern right now, so call me by the proper name."- Shoto said.

Izuku, transformed into Agunimon, attacks Nejire with a punch, which is dodged by the girl. Nejire tries to attack with one of her waves, but the attack is also dodged by Izuku.
In that, Ryukyu arrives. – "Alright, that's enough for today."- Both students stop, Izuku returns to his human form. – "Take a break, take a shower and get ready, in two hours we leave for Hosu."-
- "Hosu?"- Both students asked.
- "That's right, rumors say that Stain is in that city."-
- "Wait, Stain?! Like, Stain, the Hero Killer?!"- Izuku asked.
- "Right, Stain is someone very dangerous and we must stop him, several heroes will go, Mirko, Fat Gum, I think Endeavor will be there too. We'll patrol the city for Stain. You will help."-
- "A-Are you sure?"- Izuku asked. He's faced villains before, but not someone of Stain's caliber.
- "Don't worry, I'm not asking you to face him alone, if you run into him, use this."- Ryukyu said as he gave Izuku and Nejire a device. – "It is a tracker, if you find Stain, activate it and we will go to your position."-

- "Correct, also have this."- Ryukyu hands Izuku a piece of paper. – "It is a permission for you to use your quirk in case it is necessary, so you can defend yourself from Stain while the reinforcements arrive. Nejire does not need one as she already has her provisional license."-

Atop a water tower, Stain emerged from a portal.
- "Hosu, it seems more prosperous than I imagined."- Said Shigaraki, who also emerged from the portal.
- "I must purify this city. And I still need more sacrifices to achieve it."- Said Stain.
- "Good luck. Remember, if you need help, don't hesitate to call us. We will be waiting."- Shigaraki said.
- "Until the world realizes the mistake it has made, I will keep popping up to correct it."- Said Stain while jumping away, living Shigaraki and Kurogiri in the tower.
- "He really is a fool; he can't see that we are using him. It doesn't matter, his influence is what we need from him. But if we want our little experiment to work..."- In that, behind Shigaraki several digital portals opened and several Digimon appeared behind him. – "We need to keep the heroes from getting in our business."- Shigaraki turns to see the Digimon. There were four in total. One is another Chrysalimon.
Another one is a humanoid Digimon. It draws inspiration from the mythological Devil and evil in general. It has completely black clothing, fingers elongated into claws, devil's horns, tattered wings, and skulls on its shoulder and knee. It has the deep red Mark of Evil on its chest and on its left boot. It also wears belts around its lower torso, left leg, right upper arm and left forearm, gauze bandages around its right forearm and left hand, and a skin-tight balaclava that only reveals its mouth and red eyes. That Digimon is Devimon.
The other is a bipedal Tyrannosaurus rex-like Digimon with blue eyes, two fingers on each hand, three toes on each foot, and a pair or teeth so large they pop out of the mouth. It has black skin on its body, white skin on its belly, and red stripes on its head, tail, arms, and legs. The tip of its tail appears to be sewed to the rest of it, and it has green torn spikes on its back. It has white claws on its fingers and dark grey toenails on its toes, wears metal ornaments on its upper claws, and multiple brown belts on its wrists. That Digimon is DarkTyrannomon.
The last one is a bipedal Digimon with four arms. Its head is eyeless with black markings and a pair of long mandibles. It has a pair of large wings and a pair of elytra on its upper back. It is red in coloration with black muscle in the torso, arms, and legs. That Digimon is Kuwagamon.
Shigaraki addresses his subordinate Digimon. – "You already know what to do, cause chaos and keep the heroes away from Stain and me."-
The four Digimon just nodded, in the case of Kuwagamon and DarkTyrannomon they roared, and headed to different parts of the city to cause chaos.
- "Let's go Kurogiri, take me to Dr. Garaki."- Shigaraki was surrounded by Kurogiri's mist and then disappeared.

Hosu city.
Train.
Izuku Nejire and Ryukyu were about to reach Hosu station. However, the train was attacked by something, and it began to derail and fall off the tracks. Ryukyu quickly jumps out of the train window and transforms into her dragon form to take the train from crashing to the ground, quickly bringing the train safely to the ground and allowing its occupants to escape the place safely.
Nejire flies out of the train with his quirk and Izuku comes out already transformed into Flamemon.
- "What's going on?!"-
- "Over there!"- Nejire pointed to the sky. Turning to see Ryukyu and Izuku they are amazed and scared at the same time.
- "W-What is that thing?!"- Ryukyu asked, they were seeing Kuwagamon in the sky.
- "That thing... I feel something familiar about it... don't tell me it's... a Digimon! That means Shigaraki and the league are close."- Izuku thought. – "Ryukyu-san! That thing is similar to the ones that attacked the USJ!"-
- "In that case it means that this Villain League is here."- Nejire added.
- "Probably."-
- "But what are they doing here? Don't tell me Stain is part of the league."- Ryukyu said. – "Damn it! Nejire-chan, Agni, get these people to a safe place, I'll take care of this thing."- Ryukyu said before charging against Kuwagamon. The Digimon let out a roar and started to face Ryukyu. While in the air, she could see in the distance FatGum facing Chrysalimon, Mirko facing DarkTyrannomon and Endeavor facing Devimon. – "Damn it, there are more of these things."-

Dark Alley.
Stain had the Native hero against the wall. But he couldn't concentrate because of all the chaos that was happening. In that he received a message, taking out the cell phone that Shigaraki gave him, he was able to read a message from the latter.

- "That idiot, well, it doesn't matter, as long as I can do my job I don't mind."- He thought while pulling his Katana. He was about to kill Native but then he felt a presence behind him. He used his katana to block the attack and make his aggressor fall to the floor.
The aggressor turned out to be Iida who had lost his helmet after receiving Stain's attack.
- "You're just a kid in a hero suit. Who are you?"-
- "Blood-colored bandages. Equipped with knives everywhere. Without a doubt, you are Stain, The Hero Killer! I've been looking for you. But I did not imagine that I would find you so soon!"-
- "In your eyes the flame of revenge burns. You better watch your words, being a brat won't save you from becoming my prey."- Said Stain while pointing his Katana towards Iida.
- "Your prey? Are you telling me that you don't consider attacking me? You better listen to me criminal! I am the brother of one of the heroes you attacked."- Said Iida while standing up. – "The brother of one of the greatest and most notable heroes! So, I'll be the one to finish you off! Engrave my name for the rest of your life! INGENIUM!"-
- "I see ... Then die!"- Iida tried to hit Stain with one of his kicks. However, Stain avoided the attack, using one of his boots, which had spikes in them, managed to wound Iida's right arm and then slammed it on the ground. – "So, Ingenium's brother? I let that garbage live to spread the rumors and I will do that with you."- After these words Stain stabbed his Katana into Iida's left shoulder. – "You are just as weak as your brother"-
- "Be quiet! My brother has a fractured spine and half of his body is immobilized! He could no longer be a hero. There was no reason for you to hurt him! I'll kill you!"-
- "You should have saved him first."- Stain said while pointing at Native. – "You shouldn't have thought of yourself. But in helping others. Letting yourself be consumed by hatred only made you selfish. Without a doubt, you are far from being a hero. Now, die."- Stain said while licking his Katana with Iida's blood. Suddenly Iida couldn't move. – "You will be one more offering to correct this society."-
He was about to kill Iida but… - "Flame Toss!"- a ball of fire made him move away from Iida.
The attacker turned out to be Izuku. - "I came to save you, Iida-kun!"- He said.
- "What the heck is that thing? Perhaps another kid because he knows the other."- Stain thought.
- "Just as I read. Most of the hero killer's victims were found in hidden alleys in sparsely populated neighborhoods. It was only necessary to search where there are not many heroes to find you."- Izuku said. – "Iida-kun, can you get up? We need to get out of here, heroes need help."-
- "No. I can't move my body since he cut me. Maybe because of his quirk. Still, that doesn't matter, don't interfere in this Midoriya. You have nothing to do with this."-
- "So, you are friends, huh? Did you come to help him? I must inform you that I intend to kill him and you too if you get in the way. So, what will you do?"- Interrupted Stain.
- "I must have brought a professional with me. But that doesn't matter anymore, I must protect Iida and Native until reinforcements arrive."- Izuku thought as he activates the tracker that Ryukyu gave him.
- "Midoriya-san. Get out of here! This has nothing to do with you!"- Screamed Iida.
- "Even if you tell me that. A hero cannot listen to those words! The essence of a hero lies in getting where they don't call him!"- Izuku said while preparing to fight. Unknowingly, his words earned him a smile from Stain.
Both charged against the other, Stain was preparing a cut, however, Izuku expected this. Quickly ducking under Stain's legs to avoid the Katana's slash, then propelling himself above the villain. – "Flame Tail!"- To finally deliver an attack with his tail. After hitting Stain, Izuku fell back to a safe distance. However, Stain licks his Katana and Izuku is paralyzed. – "My body! He cut me?"- Yet he realized something. – "Wait… It's not the cut, it's the blood!"-
(AN: Can Digimon bleed? I don't think so, but for the sake of the story let's say that they do bleed.)
- "Your power is not enough. I noticed that you were looking to get out of my field of vision and deal a blow at me. Good plan, but still not enough against me. There are many talkers who deserve to die. But you ... it's worth letting you live."- Stain said as he approached Iida. – "But not these guys."- He was about to kill Iida but then, a blast of ice drove him back...again. The attacker turned out to be Todoroki. – "Damn it, they don't stop coming."-
- "I see I'm just in time, Midoriya, don't worry reinforcements are on the way, we just have to hold out until they arrive."- Todoroki said.

Flashback.
A few minutes ago.
Endeavor launched a blast of fire at Devimon. In that he receives indications from the tracker. – "Someone found Stain, but these things won't let us go..."- He thought, in that he turns to see his son who was evacuating some people. – "I don't want to do this, but there is no other alternative."- He quickly turns to his son. – "Shot… I mean, Frost! Head to this place!"- He said as he handed the tracker to Shoto.
- "What does this mean?"-
- "Someone found Stain, but he can't do it alone, go help him contain Stain, I'll send reinforcements as soon as we finish this thing."-
- "Are you sure?"-
- "Yes, by the way, you have permission to use your quirk, now go!"-
- "All right!"- Shoto goes to the place indicated by the tracker.
- "Good luck son... please come back alive."- Those were Endeavor's last thoughts before continuing to face Devimon.

Todoroki quickly launches another ice blast at Stain. Satin easily dodges it by jumping, however Izuku appears on his back. – "Flame Tail!"- Hitting Stain without him noticing.
- "What the hell? Even if he was type O, it's too soon."- Stain thought.
- "Midoriya, you can move!"- Todoroki said.
- "Yes, that means that there is some kind of rule in his quirk. I was the last to be paralyzed so it's not a time limit, maybe it's because of the blood type or the amount ingested or that it becomes less effective the more people he paralyzes."-
- "It's the blood type. Even though you have type O, it was too fast the time you were paralyzed. What did you do?"-
- "Nothing, I just could move again."- Izuku said. – "I really don't know what happened, if he says that I should have been paralyzed even longer, my blood is type O... wait, my blood, Izuku's blood, but now I'm Flamemon, maybe it's because my blood is digital that I was able to move much earlier, his quirk worked but I was able to move quickly because his quirk didn't know how to act with my digital blood."-
Hero Killer, Stain.

If he drinks your blood, he will paralyze you. The limit is according to blood types.

Ryukyu vs Kuwagamon.
Kuwagamon uses his giant claws to try to cut Ryukyu, but the hero's skin is quite tough, although it manages to damage her a little. Ryukyu quickly counterattacks with her own claws. Without a doubt, this battle is the largest in terms of proportions, both are the size of a house.
Kuwagamon catches Ryukyu in his pincers and smashes him into a large building, which is destroyed at the spot where Ryukyu was smashed. However, this doesn't stop Ryukyu, quickly pummeling Kuwagamon with both of her fists causing him to let go of her. However, Kuwagamon attacks again, this time using his claws to attack, Ryukyu quickly covers himself from the attack, however this time the attack does hurt him, his left arm received a deep cut.
Ignoring the pain, this time it would be Ryukyu who plunged his right claws into Kuwagamon's stomach, causing a lot of damage. – "According to information from the USJ, these things are not technically alive, they are the product of a villain's quirk, therefore nothing happens if we destroy them."- Taking advantage of Kuwagamon being immobilized by the pain, Ryukyu cuts him in half with her claws, causing Kuwagamon to explode in data.
The hero falls to the ground after the battle, returning to her human form. – "I'm sorry Agni, but I think someone else should help you against Stain, I'm too weak, this fight was very difficult."- After this, she falls completely to the ground.
- "Ryukyu!"- Nejire quickly goes to help the hero. – "Are you okay?!"-
- "Yes, I just need to rest a little bit. But I won't be able to help Agni."-
- "Don't worry, I heard Endeavor sent someone to help."-
- "Perfect, we better check how the other heroes are."-
- "Fatgum and Mirko managed to defeat their respective creature. Endeavor is facing the last one, but it seems to be stronger than the rest. The others are on their way to help him." –
- "Then we better regroup with him and help him out. So, we can all go for the Hero Killer."

Endeavor vs Devimon.
- "Deadly nail"- Devimon said before trying to damage Endeavor with his nails. Endeavor barely manages to avoid the attack. – "Is useless, hero. Lord Shigaraki doesn't want you to interfere with his plans."-
- "Shigaraki? What does that bastard have planned?"-
- "That's none of your business, hero. What matters is that you won't be alive when that happens because I will kill you in the name of Lord Shigaraki! Laser Wing!"- From his wings, a pair of lasers shot out, the lasers were fast enough that Endeavor couldn't dodge them and hit him squarely. Quickly recovering, endeavor launches a flame against Devimon, which of a movement of his hands manages to destroy. – "That's the best you got?"-
Endeavor smiles. - "No, I'm just distracting you."-
Suddenly Mirko appears behind Devimon's back. – "Lunar Arc!"- The hero said and then managed to deliver a strong kick to Devimon's back.
However, this does not end here, before Devimon hit the ground, Fat Gum appears and with a blow charged with the fat absorbed from his quirk, causing him to be reverted to his skinny form, he hits Devimon who flies out again, this time towards Endeavor, who was waiting for him.
- "Disappear! Flashfire Fist!"- With a gigantic flare Endeavor hits Devimon who can do nothing but receive the powerful attack and explode in data after it. After the flare ends Endeavor lands on the ground, the rest of the heroes join him. - "Looks like we're done with the creatures."-
- "Of course, that damn dinosaur didn't stand a chance against me."- Mirko said.
- "It is not yet time to celebrate, there is still an issue. Stain."- Ryukyu said showin the tracker.
- "Fat Gum, you and your intern take care of evacuating people, Mirko, Ryukyu come with me, we're going to capture Stain, Ryukyu's intern you too also come with us."- Endeavor said.
While Fat Gum and Amajiki start evacuating people, Endeavor, Mirko, Ryukyu and Nejire headed to the place indicated by the tracker.

Izuku and Shoto vs Stain.
The fight has dragged on too long, but neither side seems to be giving up.
"Stop, I ..." – Iida tried to say.
- "If you want us to stop ... GET UP! Set your goal on what you want to become!"- Screamed Todoroki while Izuku charged against Stain.
In that Stain manages to cut Izuku and paralyze him, even if it's only for a few seconds... He quickly approaches Todoroki and manages to throw a knife into Todoroki's right shoulder, before trying to attack him with his Katana. However, the cut is interrupted by Iida, who, after getting rid of the paralysis, with a kick destroys Stain's Katana. Izuku takes advantage of this to attack Stain and push him back.
- "Sorry guys. I got carried away by my fury and made a mistake, he is right, I am not fit to be a hero. However, I can still do the right thing. Let's go! Together we will be able to defeat him."- Said Iida.
Quickly Izuku and Iida charge at Stain, who is still stunned by Izuku's attack. Iida manages to deliver a kick to Stain's stomach, managing to raise him in the air. – "Baby Salamander!"- Izuku yells before using Flamemon's strongest technique. Finally, Todoroki using his ice to reach Stain hits the latter with an ice fist making him fall to the ground in a forceful way.
After several seconds of silence, the atmosphere calmed down, Stain is unconscious. But the calm didn't last, a series of applause began to be heard.
On top of a closed dumpster, Shigaraki was clapping his hands at them. – "Incredible, I can't believe you defeated Stain! Now what can I do?!"- Shigaraki said mocking the trio of students.
- "Shigaraki! Flamemon digivolve to… Agunimon! Pyro Punch!"- Izuku yelled to transform into Agunimon and try to attack Shiagaraki with a fire fist. However, in front of him a Digimon appears and blocks the attack.
The Digimon resembles a green ogre with long, unkempt white hair, pointed ears adored by earrings, two horns on its head and spikes jutting from its shoulders. It wears a black loincloth with a belt, a bracer on its right arm, red bandages on both its left arm and right leg and black belts on its left leg. It carries a large, spiked femur bone as a bludgeon weapon. It has skull and crossbones on its left arm below its shoulder spikes, metal studs on the knuckles of its left hand, and a scar on the back of its right hand.
- "Thanks, Ogremon, now make sure they don't interrupt me."-
- "What are you planning? Shigaraki!"-
- "If you want to know that much, I'll show you."- Shigaraki said as he points his D-Scan at the unconscious Stain. – "Stain, get ready to get an incredible power!"- As he said this, dark rays began to come out of Shigaraki's D-Scan, when these rays touched Stain, he seems to regain consciousness and start screaming in pain.
- "AAAAH!"-
Shigaraki started laughing like a maniac while Ogremon stops the trio of students from doing anything.
Suddenly, Stain gets up and a type of black mud begins to sprout from his body, covering him completely, a few seconds later the screams stop, and the mud begins to disappear. Once all the slime is gone, instead of Stain a different creature was in its place.
The creature is a vaguely mechanical-looking Digimon, with a dark green and black metallic humanoid body, with red and yellow details. It lacks a neck, as its head is attached to its shoulders; likewise, the head is conical in shape, and extends upwards. A round mirror replaces his face, in which the only feature is a schematic drawing of the mouth capable of moving like real lips, and which is always smiling devilishly. The Digimon carries two large circular shields whose surfaces are two other mirrors, in addition to having another rectangular mirror located on the chest and another identical one in the same place on the back.
- "Welcome to the fight, Mercurymon!"- Shigaraki said.
- "What? Where am I?"- Mercurymon asked.
- "That doesn't matter, what do you think if you help me with something."- Shigaraki said as he pointed at the trio of students, Izuku to be more specific.
Seeing Izuku, in his Agunimon form, Mercurymon laughs. - "With pleasure, Lord Tomura." - After these words, Mercurymon charges at Izuku. – "Agunimon!"- Quickly tackling Izuku, he manages to separate him from the rest of his friends.
- "What?! How do you know this form?! You're obviously a Digimon, but it seems this is more personal."- Izuku asks as he lands.
- "Wow, you are stupid, I know you because I am also the successor of one of the ten legendary warriors. AncientWisemon to be more exact."-
This revelation greatly surprises Izuku. - "So, Stain was also chosen!"-
- "Of course not, this human only serves to store my consciousness. I am my own being. From what you say you must be a human with the power of AncientGreymon."-
- "If you are a successor of one of the legendary warriors, why are you siding with Tomura?!"-
- "Fool! Not all the succesors are good at heart, we only inherit the powers of the legendary warriors, but that does not mean that we share their ideals."- In that of one of its mirrors a shine appears. – "Enough talk, it's time to fight." - From the mirror a beam comes out in the direction of Izuku, he quickly uses a Pyro Punch to stop the attack.

- "Midoriya!"- Shoto screamed.
- "Ogremon, make sure these two don't interfere."- Shigaraki said while disappearing in a mist portal.
- "Die!"- Ogremon yelled as he charged at Todoroki and Iida.

Izuku vs Mercurymon.
- "Crimson Knuckle!"- Izuku attacks Mercurymon with a punch, however Mercurymon covers himself with one of his mirrors.
Before the punch hits Mercurymon exclaims the following words. – "Offset Reflector"- Izuku's punch is absorbed by the mirror, in that Mercurymon points the other mirror in Izuku's direction. – "Generous Mirror"- Suddenly, from that mirror came the reflection of Izuku's fist, hitting Izuku's face and sending him flying.
- "He used my own attack against me!"-
- "Pathetic, you always fall for that, it's the oldest trick in the book and you still fall for it."- Mercurymon scoffed.
Izuku attacks Mercurymon again, he tried to do the same, but this time Izuku stopped before hitting the mirror and jumped behind Mercurymon and managed to hit him. However, the punch didn't do almost any damage to Mercurymon who simply counterattacked with a kick to Izuku's face.
- "It seems that you have little energy left, this will be easier than it seems."-

With Iida and Shoto.
The boys dodged an attack from Ogremon's club. Without the Digimon noticing, Shoto reached the right side of the Digimon's chest and managed to completely freeze it.
- "Iida, now!"-
- "Torque Over! Recipro Burst!"- Iida screamed and then destroyed the ice and therefore Ogremon, which exploded into data. – "We made it, now we have to help Midoriya-kun!" – Iida said. In that Izuku hits the wall next to them.
- "Midoriya! / Midoriya-kun!"- Both boys screamed. Mercurymon lands in front of Izuku.
- "How boring, I expected more fight from you, Agunimon, well it doesn't matter, getting rid of you will make things easier in the future."- Mercurymon attacked Izuku with his fingers, which are very sharp!
Blood falls to the ground and splatters on Izuku's face. In front of him, receiving Mercurymon's attack, Shoto Todoroki, sacrificing himself to save his friend's life.
- "Todoroki-kun…"-
- "I won't let you kill Midoriya..."- Gradually Todoroki loses consciousness. – "I won't let you kill my friend…"- Those were his last words, Mercurymon takes Todoroki's body and throws it to the ground as if it was nothing.
Izuku stares at Todoroki's death body. – "Todoroki-kun!"-
Shoto Todoroki is dead…
