Chapter 165: The Exterminator guy.
(January 26. The Loud House.)
Just a peaceful time in the Loud House. Luna is at her bedroom and is going through her books to study on, since there has been declared a day off for students to finish up on some projects and remaining school work and then study for Friday.
Lincoln on the other hand is at the park, with Jordan and both of them are studying together with some of their friends.
Michelle is at home with Luna and she helps tend to the laundry. Reiningers is closed for the day, since Mrs. Carmichael plans to redesign the place for the New Year, so it could be a while before Fiona and Miguel can work there.
Harriet is nowhere to be seen, so who knows where she could be.
Michelle continues to put the laundry into the washing machine, while also listening on her headphones on some songs she heard from online and she is grooving to the beat of K-Pop.
But as she places her own laundry into the washing machine, she then looks at what was in her laundry basket and screams.
This scream catches the attention of Luna and she comes down the stairs, past the dining room and kitchen and makes it to the basement. "Michelle, what the heck is going on?!"
Luna then sees this very large rat, it's black and very freaky looking. Sharp teeth and yellow eyes, the rat hisses and growls as it runs across the room and tries to evade Michelle.
She then sees Michelle with a broom and she tries to knock the rat away. "Stupid little pest!"
Luna ducks from the rat incoming at her and it races up to the kitchen. "No!" They both get to the kitchen and look around, the rat was nowhere to be seen.
"Well, this is bad. This is very bad!" said Michelle, she holds the broom tightly and closes the door behind her. "That rat is in here and we have to get rid of it! Who knows what that thing is gonna do!"
Luna sighs and she recalls. 'Did Lana bring that rat here long ago? Did we miss all the animals she brought home?' she then recalls the time Lana came back home and she said she has a new companion for her mouse and she named it, Bitey.
"Oh heck no. This rat has been here before and has been hiding too!" said Luna.
Michelle's pupils shrink and she is now afraid. "What the heck do we do Lunes? Lincoln will be home, and that thing could hurt him!" she grabs Luna and shakes her. "What the heck do we do?!"
Luna grabs Michelle to stop her. "Whoa! Easy there, Michelle! Calm down." she then let's go of her auntie and explains her plan. "Look, I have a plan, and it might not be a good one."
"Okay, how is it not a good one?" asked Michelle.
Luna goes over to the drawers and she rummages through the numbers that have been kept there, numbers for emergencies. She then sees the number she's looking for and she is not happy about it.
Luna goes to the landline phone and she begins to dial the number. "I'm calling….. The exterminator."
Michelle is still confused. 'I don't get it. What the heck does this have to do with the exterminator being the bad plan? What the heck is going on?' She then uses her phone to send a text to Lincoln.
Michelle – Lincoln, a very big and very ugly black rat is in the house, and we have to get rid of it. If you're coming back home, please be careful. We don't know where that little monster might be hiding.
Michelle then puts her phone away and she sees the rat in front of her, she screams and then tries to chase it away with the broom. All while Luna is calling the exterminator guy and deep down, she really doesn't like to do this.
Luna then finishes the call and she hangs up. She turns around and sees Michele trying to kill the rat, but it escapes through the vents. "Oh come on!"
Luna sighs at this. 'This is gonna be one big and messed up cluster.'
(Hours later.)
Luna and Michelle wait outside the house for the exterminator to arrive and then they see his vehicle.
The man comes out and looks at the place. "Well, well. Didn't think I'd come back to this dump again." He then looks to the duo who called him. "Ugh. You again."
Luna scoffs. "Dude, I called you here to deal with the rat, are you gonna do it or not?"
The exterminator looks to the house. "Alright, let me do my job. Now where was it last seen?"
Michelle answers that one. "Went into the vents when I was chasing it away. It's big, black, yellow eyes, sharp teeth and pretty much as big as a common puppy."
The exterminator readies his spray. "This thing is all mine!" He then charges in there. Michelle and Luna put on some gas masks and they follow him.
Luna really didn't like this guy. 'Glad Lincoln isn't gonna be here to confront him.'
(Later.)
The exterminator comes out of the house and has the dead rat in the cage, Michelle is in the house and is opening up all the windows to let the gas out, and thankfully he didn't have to use much.
But Michelle still needs to clear out all the bad smelling gas that was in the house.
He found it cornered at the back of what used to be the trophy case and he took it down, the rat is dead and the deed is done. Luna follows the man out of the house.
"Alright kid, pay up. I did my job, now where's my compensation?" said the exterminator as he hands her the bill.
Luna looks to the bill and sees that it wasn't that much. "Alright, alright." She pays the man up front with the cash of 550 dollars. "There, now you can leave."
But then Lincoln shows up and he lets his bike sit on the front yard. "Mom. Mom! I heard what happened, are you okay?" But then he sees the Exterminator guy again.
The exterminator guy looks to Lincoln. "You again? I didn't think I'd run into that damned spider-hugger like you! You were a real annoying pest to me and I hate pests!" He then aims his spray towards Lincoln and he begins to spray the poor kid.
Luna reacts and goes to her son. "Lincoln, no!" she manages to tackle Lincoln and get him out of there, both of them stand away from the man. "What the heck is wrong with you?! Get out of here already!"
Lincoln is a little shell-shocked at what just happened.
"No way lady!" replied the exterminator. "Not until I deal with all the pests and that old man-haired kid is a pest!" He tries to spray them again, but Luna grabs Lincoln and they take cover behind her car.
"Dude! You are insane!" Luna then has her gun ready, she packed it with her just in case and she readies her sleep rounds. "Last chance, brah! Get the heck away from us and leave!"
Lincoln is still shocked at what happened and has no clue what the hell is going on. 'This was supposed to be getting rid of a rat, why the heck am I getting into this? What did I do?' Then he recalls. 'Right, Frank the Tarantula.'
"You better come out and give me that kid, or I'll get rid of you too!" the exterminator continues to spray at the car. Luna then has an idea, she has a gas mask and she hands it to Lincoln and she puts on her own gas mask.
Luna then motions Lincoln to head to the backyard and he does so. The exterminator sees the boy making a run for it. "Oh no you don't. Time to get rid of the biggest pest in town!" He then goes after the boy and continues to spray and he readies his new weapon, a bug bomb grenade.
Luna comes out of hiding and she shoots the man in the leg, but the shot was not hers and the man is on the ground and his leg is bleeding. "Ow! What the heck? What the hell is wrong with you?!"
Luna looks to her gun. "That was not me."
"You're days are done, Fred!" They turn around and see Detective Sandra Merris. "Finally got you, now Beaverton's folks will get their justice for what you did!"
Luna is confused and Merris comes out with a shovel, she saw the whole thing and needed a weapon.
Lincoln runs to his mom and hugs her. "Mom. I heard the shot. What happened?"
"You pests! You're all pests and I'm gonna wipe you all out! Because that's my job!" The exterminator tries to reach for his bug bomb, but Lincoln kicks it away and he stomps on the man's head and he's knocked out.
"Leave us alone! You Bully!" Lincoln then kicks him again, but Luna pulls him away.
"Lincoln, it's over now. Stop!" Luna manages to calm down Lincoln and they both hug each other. "It's over now."
Cop cars soon arrive and Merris picks up the man and cuffs him, but he has to be treated for the wound on his leg.
Michelle then drops the shovel and she hugs Lincoln and Luna. The man was apprehended and taken down.
Merris then goes to them and they depart from the hug. "Dude. What the heck was that about?" asked Luna. "I know he's delusional and tried to hurt Linc, but what's with the shot dude?"
Merris sighs. "That man's name is Fred Bugihater and he once lived in Beaverton. He's on the most wanted list for a number of despicable acts of animal cruelty."
"W-What do you mean? What did he do?" asked Lincoln.
"The man didn't like animals and from his past, he was not the kind of kid or teen who liked any sort of animal and so he began his horrid acts in hurting any kinds. Let them be farm animals or pets. He snuck into a school at Beaverton and he killed off the hamsters and the school mascot, which was a ferret."
"He vandalized the Beaver statue and started leaving poison gas traps to locals who were animal lovers and worst of all, he broke into people's homes and killed their pets, including the mayor's pet beaver."
This shocks them and also angers them. "That man is a monster! What the hell is wrong with him" said Michelle.
Merris then readies to tell them the big one. "But, he is also responsible for murder to a family. He tossed in one of his animal killing bombs to get rid of the dogs inside. But he did not know the family was still there."
"He killed the parents, the grandparents, the three kids and one of them was only 3 months old, along with the two dogs with their 6 pups, the cats and parrot. The man went into hiding and fled from the town, and now that we have him in custody, he'll be sent to Beaverton to face these charges."
This made them fearful and Lincoln holds his mom's hand. They watch as the exterminator is hauled into an ambulance to be treated of his wound and then he'll be sent to Beaverton to face the charges on what he did to the locals and they will demand his head for what he did.
Luna kneels down and hugs Lincoln. "It's okay bud, it's okay now. The man is not gonna bother us anymore, we're gonna be fine now."
Then Harriet appears and sees everything. "I leave to go and check on some old friends and this is what happens? What the heck did I miss and is that the Exterminator guy?"
They had a lot to tell her and she won't like it one bit.
A/N: Now, "Marvelomac1010" his original concept seemed like the same one from "A Sparking Relationship" but I decided not to copy it and go with something else. So, I hope this was okay and thanks to my pal who gave me the idea on the Exterminator guy. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
