Time to go and see what else is gonna happen before the big annoying issue with the lady who is being judgey and also see how Lincoln and Luna are along with Jordan and the twins, the dog show is close after all, oh and it's almost February. Enjoy reading folks.

Chapter 170: Calm before the next storms.

(Royal Woods Hospital.)

Lincoln walks into the room, and he sees Luna and Michelle are all dressed and ready to go, even though they have some bandaging on them. They're cleared to leave, but Lori isn't.

"Hey mom." Lincoln goes over and he hugs Luna.

Luna smiles and she hugs him back. "Hey there, sport. Glad to see me and Michelle back on our feet?"

"Yeah. We're all feeling better and no other problems" replied Lincoln. He then looks to his left arm. "Oh, well maybe this is still here. But, I am gonna have it off on the day after tomorrow."

Michelle goes over. "At least you have that cast on, it'll heal soon and then you can move with the good old arm again."

But they all look to Lori who smiles at them. "Don't worry about me guys. Once my five days of being here are done, then I'm going back to juvie, I'm not a free person yet."

Lincoln goes over to her. "How are you feeling Lori?"

Lori smirks. "Doing alright. A bit sore way down below, but at least I'm alive and well. What matters is that you're alright, along with Luna and Michelle. We already got the family split up, I don't want you to lose more family, especially in the new life you guys have."

"Is it okay if I hug you?" asked Lincoln nervously.

Lori smiles. "I might be sore, but I'm down for a hug."

Lincoln smiles. He goes over and gives Lori a hug, but not too tight or she might get sore again. Lori hugs Lincoln, and she kisses his cheek. "We're fine Lincoln, all of us. The trouble is gone and nothing else bad is gonna happen. Be grateful we're alive."

Luna and Michelle can tell that after all that has happened. It kinda brought some bad memories and made Lincoln feel sad or worst, afraid to lose those he loves and cares about, and there's nothing more that he cares about than the family he has, let them be in Royal Woods, or far away.

Lori and Lincoln depart from the hug. "You feeling better, Linky?"

Lincoln nods and he wipes away his tears. "I didn't want you and mom and Michelle to get hurt, or worse, and that woman was gonna try and go after the others too. Like Lily."

The thought of that maniac woman going after Lily was something Luna and Lori did not wanna imagine, and same if she went after Lucy, Lola, Lana and Lisa, and then she'd go after the rest of the louds.

"Lincoln, what we did. We did it to keep you and the others safe" said Lori as she hugs him once more.

"She's right" replied Michelle. "We weren't going to let some insane escaped lunatic just go around the town or around Michigan and begin harming everyone we know and love, and those who are family. She went too far in trying to harm us and then try bring the hurt to the others."

"We were not gonna let that woman or anyone do bad things to us" said Lori. "We might not be family anymore, but we'll always have each other's back. Especially yours, since you have been through so much and that so much is something I will always regret."

Luna then sits on the bed and she looks to her son. "Lincoln, I promised I'd keep you safe and that I would do whatever it takes to make sure we don't get into any trouble and that you would remain unharmed and I did my part and I'm still gonna keep doing it."

"I'm your mom, Lincoln. I gotta do what I gotta do to retain the role I was given and I'd be damned before I let anyone hurt you. I will keep protecting you, keeping you healthy and making sure this family stays together, for as long as I live and breathe."

Hearing that was making Lincoln uneasy and then he hugs his mom and uses his right arm to hold onto her. He sheds a few tears and cries into her chest, and Luna does what she can to comfort him.

Michelle places a hand on his back and so does Lori. They can tell he's now troubled in losing his family and he does not wanna lose them, heck he doesn't wanna lose Lori either.

Luna kisses his forehead and sighs. 'Lincoln, I don't want you to get hurt and it's gonna be rough for us this year. I know it, but we'll get through it, together.'

Then someone comes into the room, it was Sam and Lucy. They both see what's going on and they go over and also comfort Lincoln.

Harriet also walks in and sees this happening. 'Looks like his nerves aren't looking too good. We're gonna need to raise our roles in keeping the trouble away. I wonder if the Guardian will let me borrow some of his books. They are useful and they might have some information that could help.'

(Rosato Mansion.)

At the Rosato mansion, Ms. Johnson drops off Lola and Lana. "Alright girls, I'll be back to pick you two later in the afternoon. I need to go and finish grading the tests from the other day. Be good and don't be rude, okay?"

"We will mom." They watch as they're mom drives off back home. They then go to the front door and knock.

The door opens and they're greeted by Jordan. "Hi girls, glad you came. Come on in, also incoming."

This confuses the twins. "What?" Then out of nowhere, Ajax comes and tackles Lana and begins to lick her and this makes her laugh and she holds the dog. "Okay, okay. Hey there buddy, man you look adorable!"

Lola goes over and she too pets the dog and Ajax goes to the pink twin and licks her and this makes Lola giggle and hug the dog.

Seeing this makes Jordan smile. "Well, now that you two are here. We should go to the backyard now. We gotta get this little baby of mine some training if he's to win this year's annual dog show."

They let go of Ajax and all of them go into the mansion and Lola and Lana are amazed by the size of the place. "Whoa! This is one big house" said Lana as she looks in awe and everything. "Wow!"

"Technically this is a mansion, girls" replied Jordan. They pass by the dining room and then to the kitchen. "Lincoln and Luna have been here a few times and I have been having some parties and most are pool parties."

"Oh yeah. I heard from some kids back in the school about some big Pool Party you're gonna have" said Lola. "When is the party anyway?"

"Somewhere around the end of February" replied Jordan. "Possibly February 20, but I can't guarantee you two are gonna be invited. The party is gonna be just for those in the 6th grade."

"It's okay, we just wanted to know." Lola continues to look around. "Dang. This sure is one nice mansion, kinda makes me feel like I'm in a palace, or a castle and really fancy looking castle."

They make it to the kitchen and then to the backyard and the twins see the pool and the water slide. "Whoa! This is so cool!" Lana then snaps out of it. "Nope, not that. We're here to train your dog."

Jordan smiles. "Glad you two are in the focus zone. Now, the thing is, Ajax knows how to be a sophisticated and fancy dog. He did compete last year, and even though he didn't win. He still proved to be quite the good and well-trained dog."

Jordan picks up Ajax and hugs him. "Isn't that right my baby, who's a god dog?" Ajax barks and licks her face. Jordan giggles and she puts her dog down. "We weren't in it to win, we were there to have fun and give it our all."

Lola smiles. "Well, we still gotta train him if we're gonna beat Lacey and her dog."

Jordan nods. "Then let's see what my little baby can do!" Jordan then shows them the obstacle course she set up and Lola and Lana are amazed. It looked exactly like the same one from the actual dog show.

"What the heck?" Lana checks out the tunnel. "Jordan, when did you have time to make this?"

Jordan smirks. "Well, I guess you can say that Ajax and I had this with us since last year. My dad helped me set this up and this is the original training grounds we used to help him from last year's dog show, so might as well use it again for this year."

Lola then looks at the obstacle course for the dog to climb on. "Jordan, this looks like the one from the actual dog show. How on earth did you know how to make this setup?"

Jordan then recalls. "Truth be told. I didn't know the dog show would look like this. My dad and I just went random and left some of the things around for the training and Ajax here is a natural at it."

Lana then goes to the Austrian Shepard. "Then what the heck are we waiting for?" She then picks up the dog. "Are you ready to train and win it against Lacey and her dog?"

Ajax barks and nods. He then gets off of Lana and he races through the obstacle course.

Lola and Lana just watch as the dog goes through all the obstacle courses and with no issue of any kind. They don't know how he does this, or how fast he does this.

Jordan smirks and she stands next to Lola and Lana. "See? He knows what to do, and after one year of doing so many things with running, I say he's got some speed in him now. You think we can beat Lacey this year?"

Lola and Lana smile. "Yes! Definitely!"

Jordan smirks, she then has a coach's hat, and a whistles. "Then let the training begin! Let's do this Ajax!"

(Allied Outpost.)

All the troops and the commander of the base are all looking and listening to the woman who's there talking with Martin McKenzie. The head of FutureTech got the call from Officer D. Pingrey and now here he is listening to this woman who's named, Selena Williams and Martin is both confused and annoyed.

Officer Tristen is there looking back and forth between Selena and Martin.

Martin just hears everything this crazy, and rude lady has to say and it involves the many things in the town. From the parks, arcades, the children, the schools, the teenagers, the cars, the police, the businesses, the mall, the pets, the parents, the rules and everything else.

Martin looks to Officer Tristen and the cop has no clue what else to say.

Martin then looks back to this ranting wild lady. "Madame, I don't know what else to do or even comprehend on what the hell is wrong with you!"

Selena is confused. "What is wrong with me? What's wrong with me? There's nothing wrong with me. The only thing wrong here is the town and everything else around it, there have to be some changes and I suggest making sure everything I just said is dealt with."

Martin is so confused. "Lady, I got one thing to say." He then backs up. "Get the hell away from our base and don't even think about coming back."

Two Apocalypse Tanks come in and point their large guns to the woman.

Selena looks at everyone, and all the troops are ready to give this lady one hell of a free-for-all fire assault. They have had enough of her words and all of it was damn right mean, and/or confusing.

"Fine!" Selena returns to her car, then she opens the window and yells at them. "I am going to report this to the mayor and then I'm suing all of you!" She then drives off.

Martin looks to Officer Tristen. "What the hell is her problem?"

Officer Tristen sighs. "I don't know sir. She's been like this since she came into town. We don't know what he deal is, but we are going through some files and it turns out, she's been kicked out of many towns she's been living in and this makes Royal Woods number 9 on her list."

They all watch as her car drives off. "That lady is delusional all over and I doubt she's done with her ranting" replied Martin.

"So, what are you gonna do sir?" asked Officer Tristen.

Martin then has an idea. "Heavy duty surveillance. We're gonna have to keep track of her every movement and if she does something stupid, then we sue her. How many tickets have you given her?"

"None yet, but if she does something else again, then she's getting a ticket and it might be her first offensive" said Officer Tristen. "But I think she's already in the system from her past in other towns."

Martin can already tell. This is gonna be one unexpected and stressful moment. 'Looks like I'll be making a shit load of visits to this world.'
