Family of Two.
Chapter 171: 1st day of the 2nd month.
(Royal Woods Elementary School.)
The school bell rings and Lincoln walks out of the school and he has a smile on his face. Probably because he gets rid of the dang cast tomorrow, but that's not the only case.
Lincoln sees Jordan and he hugs her. "See you later, handsome and I can't wait to see you back to your normal self with your left arm again."
Lincoln chuckles. "Same, and good luck with the twins. I know you guys can win the Dog show and sure as heck, I am so gonna be there!"
Jordan giggles. "See you around Lincoln." Jordan goes to her mom's car and the twins follow her into the car as well. Lola and Lana asked they're mom and Ms. Johnson said it was okay, she was glad her twins are spending time with someone and helping that person with a competition.
Agnes hopes they don't go way in over their heads.
Lincoln then waves to his friends, they're all going back home to tell their parents the good news, and thank goodness Rusty passed, otherwise he'd be in serious trouble.
Lincoln wave's goodbye to Lucy and Haiku, as it turns out the funeral for Ricky the Rooster has been changed. They had some mishaps with the plans and because they had a party to say farewell to Bartholomew and so the funeral for the rooster is on February 3 instead.
Huggins and Clyde are okay with this, it gives them enough time to make a speech about how much they'll miss him.
Lincoln then sees his mom waving at him and he goes over and hugs her. "Hey mom, glad you made it!"
Luna chuckles. "Let me guess, you passed the grade?"
Lincoln departs from the hug and nods. "I did, and I tied it with Clyde! I got 98 percent on the grades and top 1 on the score board!"
Luna smiles and she hugs her son. "I'm so proud of you Lincoln. The others are gonna be proud of you too! We are so gonna be celebrating this whole thing."
Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah, I know and I can't wait to tell Michelle and Great Grandma Harriet." Then he asks. "What about you mom? Did you make the grade, and Sam too? The rest of the band?"
They depart from the hug. "I made second place, I'm not that smart when it comes to things Linc. Sam is tied with me and Mazzy is in third, can't say much about Sully. Even though we studied hard, he fell in fifth place. Better than last time when he was 7th."
"Oh wow. Well, at least you guys tried and maybe you can hit the big score next time, right?" said Lincoln.
Luna smiles. "Sure thing kiddo, sure thing." They then get into the car, and then Luna recalls something to tell him. "How about tomorrow, after school when we get the cast off of you. We have a nice afternoon with our ladies?"
Lincoln smiles. "That sounds like an awesome idea, mom." He then begins to send the message to Jordan and they drive back to the Loud House.
(Royal Woods Hospital.)
Lori is still on the hospital bed and going through the channels. 'Oh god! This is so boring, juvie TV is better than this.' She then sees the Dreamboat, and she watches it, even if it is just a rerun from something she watched before.
She then thinks about what might be going on with Lincoln and Luna, but then her door opens and she sees whose coming. "Oh, oh wow. I didn't think you guys would be here."
It was Lori's old friends from High School. Carol, Dana, Becky, Whitney and Roy. I guess you can say, the group from the Royal Woods High School Varsity Golf Team. "Hi Lori."
"Hey guys." Lori seems less happy to see them, and she's not angry. "What are you guys doing here?"
"We came here to check on you Lori. Luna and Sam told us you'd be here and that you won't be back on your feet until Wednesday" said Roy.
"How are you feeling?" asked Carol.
Lori sighs. "Like I've been through worse. But, what the heck are you guys even doing here? I mean, I know Carol would come and see me, but why you guys?"
The teens understood what she means. "Lori, we know that you made a whole lot of wrongs and that you did bad things that literally made us go against you, and all because of luck" said Becky.
Lori looks down in sadness. "Well, thanks for sugarcoating that one."
Dana then continues. "But then we heard about the things you've been trying to do to earn back the forgiveness and trust from your former brother and sister. We heard how you have been trying to stop the mean girl from what she did to Lincoln and to you."
"What you did was brave and awesome and truly heartwarming and shows that deep down, you still care about your siblings and you regret what you did to Lincoln from your family's actions" said Whitney.
"Even after so many wrong things you did, it got us thinking that we can forgive you Lori" said Roy.
Hearing this makes Lori look to her former High School colleagues. "W-What? But, why?"
"Because Lincoln forgives you, and that also means he's giving you a shot to redeem yourself even further and earn back his trust" said Carol. "And if he can forgive you, then so can we and we'll give you the shot to try and earn back our trust too."
Lori is surprised by this and she sheds some tears. "Wow. Thanks you guys. I don't know what to say."
The group go over and hug Lori. She's not that sore and a kind hug is enough to make her forget about the pain.
They then depart from the hug. "So, you wanna hear what's been happing at school?" asked Dana.
Lori smiles. "Like old times." They all begin to chat and gossip to Lori about what's been happening. They even tell them that they passed their test and are looking forward to their final grades when the final test arrives.
Carol smiles seeing this. 'Kinda brings back a lot of good memories of when we were all friends and starting up High School.' She then realizes something. 'We're all High School seniors and soon when we graduate, we won't be here. What of Lori and her future?'
That was something Carol cannot be able to find out, something that Lori has planned.
(Ketcham Park.)
Currently at the park, we see two men busy tending to the flower gardens and removing some of the weeds there. They are none other than Howard and Harold McBride, the fathers of Clyde McBride, and they're still serving their community service.
"And there, that's the last of the weeds" said Howard. "So glad we got this place looking good as new and also got rid of those nasty worms."
Harold then finishes putting down some fertilizer. "I know Howie, and pretty soon, once spring hits the place the flowers will be even more beautiful and then comes the bees. Which we need to make sure Clyde has his allergy pills and shots for pollen and chances of bee stings."
Howard gets up and carries the bag of weeds. "That is correct, and speaking of Clyde." He checks his phone and sees a message from him. They both check the text message from their son.
Clyde – Hey dad, guess what? I did it! I made the grade and I am on a roll. Number one on the lead board and tied with Lincoln too, we should celebrate this. Chloe and I are gonna go to my place and her family is coming over and we're gonna make a cake!
Howard and Harold smile seeing this. "Well, that's our Clyde. The best in his class, again" said Howard.
"And tied with Lincoln too, I bet Luna is proud of her son for his grades" said Harold. "They have both been putting so much effort into making sure they pass, and I'm sure Luna passed her test too."
Howard then sheds some tears. "Oh, our little angel is growing up. To think, we've been holding him back and always making these rules about what not to do, when all we needed to do was let him e himself and be there when he needs help."
Harold nods. "It's been so far since it all came down to this and I am truly proud at our little angel. I can already see a bright future for Clyde and Chloe. But, we just have to be patient, he still has Middle School and High School to get through."
Howard nods. "Yes, yes. Of course. They grow up so fast." He has a few tears again, but he wipes them away.
They both begin to walk away from the flower garden with the buckets filled with weeds and the other empty of fertilizer. "Hey! What the heck are you two doing?!" Howard and Harold stop and see this woman walk up to them.
The woman is Selena Williams, again. But Howard and Harold are unaware of the woman, they heard about this mean woman, but they don't know what she looks like. "Is there a problem miss?" asked Harold.
"You two. What were you two doing at that garden here in the park?" asked Selena.
Howard and Harold had no clue what he deal was, the tone in her voice was kinda annoying. "We were tending to the place. Getting the weeds off and then giving them fertilizer, the groundskeeper told us to do so" replied Howard.
Selena crosses her arms. "And why on earth would you two be doing that for?"
"Because it's all part of our community service" replied Harold.
This raises some red flags inside of Selena. "Community service? That sounds like something given to wrong doers. What crime did you two commit?!"
"Whoa. Whoa easy now, we're not causing any trouble. We're just trying to finish our long community service and we're okay doing it" said Harold. He doesn't wanna make things worse and this lady is already making things worse.
"Not until you two tell me what you two did to deserve this!" said Selena. "Now, answer the question, and how can we know you two aren't gonna do this again?!"
Howard is confused and annoyed by her. "Hare bear, I think this lady has lost it."
Selena then looks to the two men. "Oh good lord! No, you two are gay aren't you?! I knew something was wrong. You two shouldn't be in this town, you hoodlums!"
Howard and Harold were ready to talk back to her for being rude, but then someone else goes to intervene. "So, this is the Selena Williams Officer Tristen told me about." It was Officer Schoffner. "I should've know that the disturbance was from you."
Selena smiles seeing the cop, well she's happy to see a different cop. "Good, officer, arrest these two!"
Officer Schoffner is unfazed by this. "For what?"
"What? For being together! This shouldn't be allowed in this town and they must be removed, immediately!" said Selena.
Officer Schoffner sighs. "Oh good grief." She then looks to the woman. "Ms. Williams. Please leave them alone and leave the good folks of this town alone, everyone here is just trying to do what they normally do and these two are just going through with the community service from the crime they did last year."
"And for the record. They have been together for a long time and since they're son Clyde was a few months old. Everyone knows who they are and they are doing what they can to regain the trust of everyone."
Selena is shocked. "What?! This town knows about them?! What is going on?! This is anarchy and I will not be…" The cop gives her a paper. "What is this?!"
"A ticket, this has been your third warning and you're ruining the peace" said Officer Schoffner.
Selena is outraged by this. "No! You can't do this to me!" She rips apart the ticket and walks off in anger, but she looks back. "I will be reporting about this!" She then leaves.
Howard looks to the cop. "She's gonna be troublesome isn't she?"
Officer Schoffner sighs. "Pretty much, and it's gonna get on everyone's nerves at this point. Heck, even the mayor is irritated by her dumb reports."
Harold and Howard were now worried. 'Oh no! Lincoln and Luna!'
With Selena, she goes through her clipboard and is angered. "Stupid cops. Stupid gay couple. Stupid rules and no common sense to what is right and wrong!" She then looks through her notes.
"Soon, I will report this and the mayor will have to listen to me and make everything as right as they should be!" She then stops at a red light, and she takes the time to check her clipboard.
"Alright, let's see what else is wrong in this absurd town." Selena sees the name she wrote on the next list. "Hmm, Louds. That sounds like a last name or some kind of bad band name. Whatever, I'll check on them tomorrow."
The light turns green and she drives off, she then sees someone walking their dog. "Hey you! What do you think you're doing?!"
Here we go again.
A/N: It seems things are turning to good for everyone, but it looks like someone is gonna cause some trouble and this cannot be good for them, so watch out Lincoln and Luna, here comes Selena Williams. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
