Chapter 21.
The awakening of Thunder.
- "All right, we're here. Get down everyone."- Aizawa said. Class A gets off the bus. – "The exam will be here, at the Takoba National Stadium."-
- "So, it will be in Takoba... This will be complicated."- Izuku said.
- "If you manage to pass and obtain your provisional licenses you will be able to train to become semi-professionals."- Aizawa said. – "So, try hard."-
- "We are more than ready, right?!" – Kirishima said. – "Let's do it! Plus..."-
- "ULTRA!" - The class was unable to finish the motto as they were interrupted by another person. Said person is a very tall and well-built young man with buzzed, dark brown hair and black eyes.
- "Hey Inasa, it's not right for you to get involved in other people's business."- Another guy said.
- "Right!"- The boy, now identified as Inasa said. Suddenly the boy bows, however it was so exaggerated that his forehead hit the ground. – "My biggest apologies!"-
- "W-Who's that excited person?"- Kaminari asked.
- "It's like we combined Iida and Krishima."- Sero said.
- "Wait a minute, those uniforms, they're Shiketsu students!"- Izuku said.
- "Of all the hero schools, the only one that compares to UA is Shiketsu High School!"- Shinso said.
At that, Inasa gets up. - "I just wanted to say it! Plus Ultra! I also really like the UA. It is an honor to compete against UA students. A pleasure!" –
- "It's time to go."- Another Shiketsu student said. Said students is covered entirely by light brown hair, with no distinct features besides his eyes. After this, The Shiketsu's students enter the stadium.
- "Inasa Yoarashi…"- Aizawa said.
- "Do you know him, sensei?"- Hagakure asked.
- "Inasa Yoarashi, a recommended student of for the UA. He took the recommendation exam the same year as Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, despite getting the highest score... he refused admission for some reason."- Aizawa explained.
- "He is also a first year."- Izuku said. – "Do you recognize him, Todoroki-kun?"-
Todoroki watches the boy for several seconds before shrugging his shoulders. - "No, no idea who he is."-
- "I-I see… Even so, he just said that he likes the UA very much. I don't understand why I refuse admission."-
- "Indeed, that's weird."- Iida said.
- "He's weird, but he's skilled, be careful with him."- Aizawa said.
- "Eraser!? Is that you Eraser?!"- A female voice interrupted Aizawa, he recognized that voice and his expression changed to one of terror. – "I saw you on television recently, but I haven't seen you in person for a long time!"-
That person is a young woman of a strong athletic build with noticeably muscular arms. She has sea-green hair that reaches just past her shoulders, and short fringe with splayed ends which is usually obscured by her bandanna. She has dark green eyes with bright pupils, but by far her most prominent feature is her unwavering joyous smile.
Her hero costume consists of a sleeveless navy-blue shirt with a high collar that's buttoned up all the way to her chin, puffed shorts with a green and orange pinstripe design, and a corset adorned with yellow smiley-face pins, dipping down in a shallow "U" in the center. Below this, she wears a white V-shaped belt, and on her hands, she has padded yellow gloves with golden plates over her knuckles and lower fingers, which extend in orange-striped tubes down her lower arms, with thick metal cylinders acting as wrist-guards over the top. She also wears an orange bandanna.
- "She is the smiling heroine, Ms Joke!"- Izuku said.
- "Let's get married!"- The heroine said.
- "No."- Aizawa quickly answered.
- "If you marry me, we can form a family full of laughter and joy."-
- "Your definition of joy scares me."-
- "They seem to get along very well."- Tsuyu said.
- "Our offices were close, we helped each other, and we were dating!"- Ms. Joke said.
- "That's not true."- Aizawa quickly answered. – "Joke, if you're here, that means your high school will also participate."-
- "That's right, hey guys! Look it's the UA!"- Ms. Joke said, at that, four people approach class A. – "This group is the second year of the Ketsubutsu academy. I'm in charge of this class."-
In that, a black-haired boy approaches Izuku. - "My name is Shindo. A pleasure!"-
- "Huh?"-
- "You guys are only in your first year, right? That is incredible!"- Shindo said with excitement.
- "Midoriya-kun, can I have your autograph? You were amazing at the sports festival."- A blonde girl from Ketsubutsu said.
These words of the girl caught Shinso's attention, who took Izuku by the shoulder and dragged him towards him. – "I'm sorry, but we have to go now, we have to prepare for the exam, right? Class President."- Shinso said.
Izuku didn't understand but seeing Shinso's serious look he knew something was up. - "Yes. You're right, class A, it's time to go."- Class A starts following their president. – "Shinso-kun, what was that?"-
- "No, not here. We need to go somewhere more private."- Shinso said.
Once in a place away from everyone. - "Very well, now will you explain to us what happened?"- Izuku asked.
- "That girl... what she said, that lets me know that she saw the sports festival and I can bet that all the participants in this exam saw it."- Shinso said.
- "So what? The sports festival is quite famous, it is obvious that they would have seen it."- Sero said.
- "You don't get it, do you? That everyone here has seen the sports festival puts us at a disadvantage."-
- "How so?"-
- "That means everyone here knows our quirks and we don't know anything about them."- Shinso explained, this makes everyone tense.

We will conduct an exercise to reduce the number of applicants who will take the exam."- The man yawns. – "Only the first hundred participants who complete the exercise will pass."-
- "What?! We are 1540 people! It's not even 50%!"-
- "Consider it bad luck."- Mera said. – "The requirements to pass are the following. Participants will take three of these targets and stick them on, they can stick them anywhere on the body as long as they are visible. We will also give you six of these spheres, when a sphere hits a target, it will glow. If all three of your targets glow you will be eliminated. The person who lights up a participant's third objective will be the one to eliminate them. To pass they need to eliminate two participants. Like I said, only the first 100 will get through."-
- "It's like the UA entrance exam, only this time we will face other people instead of robots."- Izuku thought.
- "Once the expansion is finished, we will deliver your objectives and spheres."- Mera said. – "The exam will start one minute later."-
- "Expansion?"- In that, the room begins to fall, once it falls you can see that everyone is in the middle of the stadium and around it there are several different scenarios, there is a city, a power plant, a bridge, mountains, and a rocky area.
- "You must find the scenario that suits you the best, these are the scenarios."- Mera said.
Meanwhile, Aizawa is sitting on the bleachers, next to him is Ms. Joke. – "I just realized something, Eraser. Aren't there supposed to be 19 in your class? Now it turns out there are 20."- Ms. Joke said. – "Did they lie to us at the UA, and you never actually expelled anyone?"-
- "You're wrong, I did expel someone, the position was only filled by someone sometime later. The blonde girl you see there, her name is Melissa Shield, she joined sometime after the sports festival."- Aizawa said, this surprises Ms. Joke.
Back with the students.
- "Only the first hundred will pass."- Izuku said. – "We don't have to attack each other. It will be better to think of a strategy to defeat our rivals together. We have to fight together!"-
- "Bullsh*t! We are not here to play!"- Bakugo said as he walked away from the group.
- "Wait you idiot!"- Kirishima yelled as he and Kaminari followed Bakugo.
- "Dammit! We have to go to a clear place!"- Shinso said while Izuku leads the rest of the class.
- "You know something Eraser, you should have told your students..."- Ms. Joke said as class A began to be surrounded by various test participants. – "about the tradition of destroying the UA." –
Shindo, in his hero outfit, is among the participants. – "Be careful with the green-haired boy and the purple-haired boy, if they transform, they will be a problem."- All the participants launch the spheres against class A.
- "There was no reason to tell them about the destruction of the UA. Nothing would have changed."- Aizawa said while at the stadium, the chosen four transform. – "They can overcome any obstacles that are in their way."- As Aizawa says that, all of class A, using their abilities, manage to protect themselves and prevent the spheres from hitting the targets.
- "Looks like they dodged us."- A Ketsubutsu student said.
- "Not only that, but it also seems that there are more students with the ability to transform."- Shindo said. – "We'll have to separate them."- In that he puts his hands on the ground. – "Maximum power! Quaking Earth!"- In that, the entire ground begins to destroy, the entire class A is scattered throughout the place.
In another place of the stadium.
Several participants are distracted by the tremor that happened. – "What was that? An earthquake? Or a quirk?"-
Suddenly all the spheres begin to be carried by the wind. – "You all are fighting well! You are on fire! I like when things are in fire!"- Turns out it's Inasa, his quirk allows him to manipulate the wind.

Inasa's Quirk grants him the ability to freely manipulate the air around him over a very wide area.
- "Let me participate in this fiery fight!"- Hastily Inasa throws all the spheres against the participants in that place, eliminating them all.
- "Finally, we have the first approved..."- Mera said as he reviewed the results, what he saw surprised him. – "What?! A single person eliminated 120 participants!"-
Izuku, in his Agunimon form, emerges from the rubble that was triggered by Shindo's quirk. – "120? It must be someone with an impressive quirk."- Thanks to his enhanced reflexes, Izuku manages to dodge several spheres that were aimed at him. In that he can see several participants going after him. – "Fire Darts!"- Izuku shoots the ground to raise a smokescreen and hide in a nearby cave, that cave was created after the field had been destroyed.
- "Everyone seems to be against us."- Izuku thought, in that someone touches his back. Surprised, Izuku quickly turned around and pointed his fists at whoever was behind him, to his surprise it turned out to be Melissa/Kazemon.
- "Wait! It's me, Izuku!"- Melissa said.
- "Melissa! Are you okay?!"- Izuku asked.
- "Yeah, don't worry, it looks like they managed to separate us all."- Melissa said.
- "It's okay. I firmly believe that everyone will make it through. The important thing now is to focus on us."- At that, Izuku manages to think of a strategy. – "I got it! Melissa come with me; I have a plan!"- Melissa and Izuku come out of the cave where they were. Izuku begins to tell Melissa about the plan, not realizing that a contestant was stalking them and was about to eliminate them both. Suddenly said participant is caught by tapes and falls to the ground. – "I knew it! Thank you Sero!" –
In that Sero lands next to them. – "No problem, bro!"- In that Sero looks at the participant. – "Can I?"-
- "Sure."- Izuku says and Sero proceeds to eliminate the participant he caught. – "Perfect, with you here I also have the perfect plan for the three of us to pass."- Izuku said and starts to explain the plan to Sero and Melissa.
Meanwhile, on another side of the stadium.
Four participants throw their spheres into the sky, the reason being that they are trying to hit Todoroki, who is in his Paledramon form in the air, easily dodging the thrown spheres.
- "Dammit! Aren't they supposed to be just two UA students who could transform?! Now it turns out there are four!" - In that he tries to take another sphere, however... – "I ran out of spheres…"- Apparently the four who were trying to eliminate Todoroki ran out of spheres.
- "Just in time... Ice Age!"- Todoroki takes advantage of this to freeze the participants' bottoms.
However, one of them lights his arm on fire. – "I do not think so! It's time to melt..."- He couldn't finish because someone hit him in the stomach leaving him unconscious. That someone was Shinso.
- "Need a hand?"- Shinso asked.
- "Thanks, but I already had it under control."- Todoroki said as he landed. – "But you're in luck. I only need two to get through and there are four here, so... you're welcome."-
- "Sure, thanks"- After this conversation both eliminate two participants respectively and their targets light up green. – "Cool. Let's go, I think there's a waiting room while this is over."- Both boys return to their human form and head to the waiting room.

Five participants, probably from the same school, are looking for other participants to eliminate. Suddenly, Izuku/Agunimon and Melissa/Kazemon appear behind them.
Combining their attacks, they create a tornado of fire that surrounds the five participants. – "What's going on?!"- One of the participants caught in the tornado wonders.
Without anyone realizing it, a small window opens in the tornado, from which Sero enters and catches them with his tape. – "Sorry guys, but we also need to approve."-
The tornado disappears and Izuku and Melissa land. – "Very well, with them it will be enough to pass, we have to eliminate them quickly before more people arrive."- Melissa said.
- "Wait! You are freshmen, right? Please, let us go, we need those licenses at all costs!"- One of the contestants said; however, these words fell on deaf ears as the trio began to eliminate them.
- "I'm sorry... but so are we."- Izuku said.

Izuku, Melissa and Sero arrive at the entrance of the waiting room, where they meet Shinso and Todoroki.
- "Guys! You also passed!"- Sero said.
- "Yeah, we just got here."- Shinso said.
- "Cool! Let's go inside I heard there's food and I'm starving!"- Sero said as everyone enters the room, upon entering they realize that there are already several participants who have passed by.
While looking for a place to eat Todoroki sees that Inasa is there too, in that Shiketsu's boy when seeing Todoroki his expression changes to one of hatred, which confuses the boy.

Bridge area.
- "Dammit!"- Kaminari said. – "I should have gone with Midoriya and the others!"-
- "Then go!"- Bakugo said.
- "I can't leave! And less if he turned Kirishima into that thing!"- Kaminari said while Shiketsu's student Seiji Shishikura holds in his hand a lump of meat in the likeness of Kirishima.
Seiji Shishikura.
Quirk: Meatball.
Seiji's Quirk gives him the ability to manipulate raw flesh. He can knead other people's bodies into disfigured balls of flesh, leaving them incapacitated. His own flesh is more versatile; it can be detached, expanded, and remotely controlled for offensive and defensive purposes.
- "Now you can see the difference in power between us."- Seiji said.
- "Don't be so arrogant!"- Bakugo yells as he charges at Seiji. Shiketsu's student uses his flesh to try to catch Bakugo, however Bakugo uses his AP Shot to avoid it. – "With those simple tactics you won't catch me!"- Bakugo yelled.
Seiji smiles. – "I know…"- Suddenly, some flesh catches Bakugo from behind. – "That was just a distraction."-
After a few seconds Bakugo is turned into a disfigured piece of meat, just like Kirishima and other people who already suffered the same fate, however before being turned into that, Bakugo throws something at Kaminari, who is terrified.
- "Only you are left!"- Seiji screamed at Kaminari, The frightened boy throws the object that Bakugo gave him, which turned out to be a small grenade, which disorients Seiji. When Shiketsu's boy regains his orientation, he can see that Kaminari has escaped. – "He escaped... how pathetic."-
Kaminari is running away from the place; however, a memory makes him stop.
– "I genuinely believe that you are capable of being a great hero. You just need the moment to show who you really are."-
These words echo in Kaminari's head. – "Dammit!"- Kaminari turns around and heads back to where he is needed.
Seiji was thinking about who to eliminate to pass. – "I will eliminate those from the UA, they are already too arrogant for my liking."- However, he couldn't do anything as a disk fell behind him.
- "Sorry for what happened before, but I'm back."- Kaminari said pointing his finger at Seiji. Quickly shooting an electric beam at Seiji, but the Shiketsu boy managed to cover himself with his flesh from the attack. When the attack ends, a bit of flesh manages to capture Kaminari. – "Shit!"- Kaminari quickly releases electricity to avoid being turned into a piece of meat. At the moment it was working but it will need more power. – "Shit! Three million volts!"- Following this, Kaminari manages to release enough electricity to break free of Seiji's flesh.
- "Not bad. You are the first to break free from my quirk."- Seiji said as Kaminari fought with everything he has, not to go into his idiot mode. - "Once I pass, I will tell your UA colleagues that you fought with honor."- From behind another piece of flesh captures Kaminari. However, the process was taking a long time. – "What's going on?"- Suddenly, a force within the flesh releases Kaminari as the boy screams.
Kaminari opens his eyes, he feels fine, and his brain seems to have recovered. - "What just happened?"- The boy wondered, suddenly a light appears in front of him, in that light there is a device, Kaminari recognizes it instantly. – "That is..."- In front of Kaminari is a D-Scan, only this one is dark blue with yellow. Kaminari smiles and takes the D-Scan. – "Seiji, right?"- Kaminari asks. – "Don't worry about telling my friends how I fought with honor."- The boy extends his left hand. – "I'll tell them myself." - In his left hand a data wheel appears. Remembering how Izuku and the others transform, he decides to do the same. – "Execute!"- The D-Scan makes contact with the data. – "Spirit Evolution!"- Data surrounds Kaminari.

Inside the Data.
Kaminari's clothes were stored inside the D-Scan, in that several screens appeared around Kaminari.
Each screen shows what appears to be a piece of dark blue and yellow armor. Soon each screen joins to form two screens, one behind Kaminari and one in front, each screen showing the full armor, the front on the front screen and the back on the back screen
In that, both screens begin to approach Izuku, once they make contact with him, Kaminari begins to change.
Several seconds later, the transformation is complete.

The data disappeared and instead of Izuku there was... – "Beetlemon!"- Beetlemon is a large humanoid Digimon who has a large horn on its head. It is covered in a blue and yellow armor-like exoskeleton.
- "W-what? What the hell happened to you?!"- They were the only words Seiji could say.
- "Oh nothing. I just got an upgrade!"- Kaminari said as he charged at Seiji. The Shiketsu boy sends his flesh against Kaminari, however… - "Thunder Fist!" – Kaminari claps his hands and with a thunder swing he destroys the flesh. – "Lightning Blitz"- Kaminari emits a powerful stream of lightning from his horn, which hits Seiji and leaves him unconscious.
This causes everyone captured by Seiji to break free. – "What the… Kaminari?!"- Kirishima asked seeing Kamianri in his Beetlemon form.
- "Yes, it's me bro!"-
- "Hey you idiots! We have an exam to pass, then you can admire each other!"- Bakugo said seeing the rest of the participants released from Seiji's quirk.
- "Right! / Right!" – Both boys said as they prepare to fight.

In the waiting room.
All the approved of the UA are eating together, suddenly the door opens suddenly and Kaminari, still transformed into Beetlemon, enters the room very excited.
- "Oh yeah!"- Kaminari yells excitedly. All the approved are surprised by the sudden appearance.
However, four other people are more surprised than the rest. – "Izuku… do you think it is...?"- Melissa asked.
- "It has to be! But the question is, who is he?"- Izuku answered.
Kaminari watches and in the distance, he can see the four chosen ones. – "Hey guys!"- He quickly approaches them, once in front of them, he returns to his human form. – "Look! I also managed to evolve my quirk!"- The boy said as he showed them his D-Scan.
The chosen ones did not know what to do, the truth is that they did not expect this to happen at this moment. Izuku quickly answers. - "T-That's great, Kaminari-kun. Um... could you join us for a second? you know, stuff from people with evolved quirks."-
- "Sure!"- Kaminari said following the chosen ones to somewhere more private.

Without a doubt, Kaminari's spirits lowered greatly after hearing the truth of his new power. – "You are telling me... that this new power is actually the power of an ancient creature called a Digimon and that it chose me to bear its power."-
The chosen ones nod.
- "And that behind the league of villains, who have Digimon under their power, there is an evil Digimon named Lucemon who wants to destroy our world."-
The chosen ones nod.
- "In addition, the other five heirs of these legendary warriors are under the orders of Lucemon and Shigaraki."-
The chosen ones nod.
- "Aizawa knows this and that Nezu is actually a Digimon in disguise."-
The chosen ones nod.
- "Finally, we must face this Lucemon in the future and we have to defeat him to save our world from destruction."-
The chosen ones nod.
- "Please tell me there is some way to return this power."- Kaminari said.
- "Kaminari-kun!"- Izuku yelled.
- "I know, I know, I'm sorry. I guess if that AncientBeetlemon thing chose me, it's for something, right?"- Kaminari said.
- "Yes, I know this is difficult to assimilate, but we will need your help to face this future threat."- Izuku said.
Kaminari sighs heavily. - "Alright! Let's do it!"- He said.
- "Remember, you can't tell anyone about Digimon, the only ones who know are Aizawa and Nezu."- Shinso said.
- "I know, if anyone asks, my quirk evolved."-
- "Luckily, we can still use that excuse, your quirk was related to electricity and your power is now the power of thunder. Looks like we got lucky."- Todoroki said.
- "We'd better get back; the others must be worried about us."- Melissa said.
- "Right! Let's go."- Izuku said, after this, the chosen five return to the waiting room.
