Family of Two.
Chapter 182: Visiting Lori, once again.
(Royal Woods Juvenile Hall.)
Lori, the former older sister to the loud family, currently done with classes and is ready to see the family who has come to check on her, well former family.
Lori walks down the halls and she waves hello to many of her fellow inmates, then she looks to one of the holding cells and smiles. 'This is where Delilah was, I hope she's doing fine now that she's freed from her crimes and sins of the past. I really did help her find some redemption and glad she confessed the real criminal to the crime she didn't commit.'
Lori then walks down the halls once more and she high fives her cellmate, Kendall. Kendall is taking a special class where she can learn the basics on being a cop, well junior officer and she intends to use what knowledge she has learned once she's out of this place.
Lori passes by more of her fellow inmates, and some of the new ones who are doing their hardest to show that they have changed.
Lori goes down the main halls and she spots the main doors to the visiting area and she opens them and she smiles when she sees who're sitting at the table. "Lincoln, Lun, Lucy! Thank goodness you three…" She stops when she sees two other figures there.
Getting up from their chairs, Lincoln and Lucy let the twins, Lola and Lana come out and show themselves to Lori. The blonde 17 year old is wide eyed and almost speechless. "L-Lola? Lana?"
The twins back up a bit, scared of what she might do. But then Lincoln looks to them and reassures them that everything is okay. "Lola, Lana. Go and see her, Lori has changed and for the better to. You know you can trust me."
The twins were hesitant at first, but then they see the tears form from Lori's eyes. "Lola? Lana?"
Seeing this, the twins shed some tears of their own and they run over and hug Lori. Lori returns the hug and cries as she's overjoyed to see her former little sisters, the twins that she knew her whole life since they were born.
"Oh gosh. Lola, Lana. You're both here!" Lori kisses their foreheads and then she looks to their tearful faces and she wipes away their tears and hugs them again. "I didn't think I'd see you two again."
The twins just continue to hug Lori and cry. "We missed you so much Lori."
Lori just let's her tears fall as she smiles and chuckles at this moment of joy. "I missed you two little girls as well. So, so much." She just keeps hugging them, something she hasn't done to the twins in a long, long time.
Lincoln, Luna and Lucy smile seeing this and they also shed some tears at this beautiful moment of a reunited shattered family. Even the guards are shedding some tears at this sight, and some of the few inmates who are mopping around the place.
They depart from the hug and the twins look to Lori. "We have so much to tell you Lori!"
Lori chuckles hearing this. "I know, and I got a lot of stuff to talk about too." She gets up and she lets the twins guide her to the others.
Lincoln goes over and hugs Lori and so does Lucy. Lori hugs them back. She really did feel happy to see almost all of her little siblings here to see her. "So glad you two came."
They then depart from the hug. "The twins are right, we have a lot to talk about" replied Lucy.
"I know." Lori then looks to Luna. "Good to see you Lunes."
Luna smirks. "Same here, Lori." They all take their seats and talk about what's been happening. Luna then grabs some sodas. "Got these just in case."
Lincoln grabs a box and places it onto the table. "Clyde and Chloe made some cookies for us to try. They made a lot of them and they want us to try these one."
This makes the twins excited and they check out the cookies and all of them are chocolate chip cookies, while others are different shapes and have sprinkles and nuts.
Lori then asks. "So, Lola and Lana Johnson huh? Adopted by Agnes Johnson?"
The twins nods. "She's a really nice person, even if she is a teacher, she's compassionate and so caring" replied Lola. "She always has time to spend with us when we need something or some quality time."
"She's understanding and helps teach us some things to improve ourselves and she even helped me with my issue and dumpster diving and eating from the trash too" replied Lana.
Lori smiles hearing this. She recalls from what Lincoln and Luna told her, that the twins lives with a couple somewhere far from Royal Woods and Saginaw and have been doing their best to become better little girls and for whatever future they have.
She's amazed at how far they have come.
From Lola and her aggressive pageantry ways and her constant blackmailing. All the way to Lana, with her muddy ways, and eating out of the trash and also keeping more than one pet, even reptiles.
"Glad you two have changed and I'm proud at how much you two have changed. This is a true and good improvement and I can't wait to know more on how you two have changed" replied Lori.
This makes the twins smile, they then continue to eat some cookies. Lucy also brought some milk boxes for them just in case.
Luna then asks. "So, how have you been doing with….. Sasha?"
Lori was wondering when one of them would ask, though Lola and Lana don't know what they're talking about. So, she tells them what had happened. "Okay, so it didn't go well when we talked."
This makes them concerned. "Lori, what happened between you and Sasha?" asked Lucy.
Lori then recalls. "Well, we met up at her maximum lockdown room, since they don't trust her to be put into another room, because she might do something. So, I went in and I wanted to tell her what I wanted to do, and that was to help her change into a better person and see past her mistakes."
"At first she laughed and just made fun of me for being there, she was restrained and she can't do anything and so I started to try and help her by asking what her issues are and how she can improve and she just... mocked me and told me she wanted to do so much worse to me and… to the rest of you."
Hearing that was not making Lincoln comfortable, and sure to hell making Luna pissed off. Lucy didn't like this either, but the twins don't know what happened with this Sasha person. They let Lori continue.
"Even though she kept insulting and making me feel bad about myself. I stood my ground and made sure that whatever she says is something I can shrug off. So I kept going and going and did not stop asking her about stuff and also telling her about how she can show she's changed."
"I even told her that 4 of her former friends from the attack months ago have been released for good behavior and they really did show tons of change when they were done taking lessons on becoming better people. This kinda made Sasha really, really angry."
Lincoln, Luna and Lucy didn't like this. They know that what she says next, might not be so good."
"Then she tried to attack me." They all remain silent. "But, she was restrained and when she thought she could come after me, I took the self-defense tactics and pushed her back. She just ended up yelling and cursing away at me, and I knew that my session with her was done, for the day."
"But I did tell her that I will come and check on her again and help her with her issues." But Lori leaves out one thing, the last words Sasha said to her before she left the first time she talked to her for change.
"You better watch your ass Lori. The next time you fucking come back here, I am gonna tame you, I'll own you and you will heel to me bitch! I'm gonna break you and make you and that fucking family of yours pay! Do you fucking hear me?! Lori!"
Lori brushes off those words from the crazed inmate. "So, yeah, that's what happened and I will try this again and hopefully she can be less aggressive and be more cooperative."
Lincoln and Luna felt relieved that the madness from what happened did not go too far or worse. "So, when do you plan to see her again?" asked Lucy.
"Two hours from now" replied Lori. "She has been less insulting towards me and all she has been doing is ignoring me and being silent and also a few mean glares." She leaves out the part where Sasha glares at Lori's body. That part is very uncomfortable for her to describe.
"Sh even stopped trying to attack me. Because the third time she tried, she got way more doses of taser from the attempt and she couldn't walk for the next two days until she got the feeling back in her legs. Those heavy duty tasers are just dang powerful and scary."
"This whole thing you're doing to change Sasha is too dangerous" replied Luna. "Are you sure you're gonna keep this up?"
Lori nods. "I know she can be changed, even though she seems lost and unstable, I know that deep down she's insecure and needs help and I wanna help her. I know you two are concerned about me and what might happen, but I can do this. I can handle this and nothing bad will happen."
Lincoln then asks. "Do you promise?"
Lori is surprised to hear that, and she can see the concern in the eyes of her former brother. "Linc, I can't make a promise that might not be held for too long, but I will try. Trust me, I can handle this and perhaps end what madness Sasha inflicted onto us last year."
Lincoln didn't think it could work, but knowing Lori, she's the type not to give up when it comes to this new change. She did help the 4 others change. "Alright, Lori. I guess we can trust you for doing this."
Luna on the other hand has doubts, she knows folks can be given second chances, but someone like Sasha is the same as that damned man who helped maintain that dumb fake ghost show ARGGH! "Alright, fine. But, don't let her get the drop on ya. Otherwise it's not gonna go as good as it did the last time."
Lori nods. "I got this Luna, Lincoln, Lucy. I can handle Sasha and she can't do anything to me, I know she'll listen and I know she can change."
Lincoln then has an idea. "How about this? I can ask Clyde about how he managed to get over some of the issues he had, and if he does have an answer. Then I can tell you and you can use those methods to handle Sasha and help her change."
Lori smiles to the idea, she recalls that Clyde had help from this Dr. Lopez person. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Lori then looks to the cookie she's eating, the one made by a kid she knew and sorta, hated once. "How is little nose bleeder anyway?"
"Over his crush from you" replied Lincoln. "He has his eyes on someone else and that someone is his cooking and baking partner Chloe Curda, and they're both pretty cool and awesome with their baking skills."
The teen smiles hearing this. "Good for him, glad he found someone who has the same likings as he does." Lori looks around. "Carol didn't come?"
"As much as Carol wants to come and visit you, she's busy with something else" replied Luna. "At this time, Carol is left in charge to setup the whole High School Prom, this Valentine's Day, night time."
Lori realizes this, a part of her feels upset that she won't be part of it, but she knows it's for the best. "Good for her." then she looks towards Lincoln. "So, you and Jordan going to the Sadie Hawkins Dance soon?"
Lincoln chuckles and blushes and this makes them all laugh a bit. They continue to talk and share what they have been doing, and of course, Lola and Lana tell them about the incident, with Lacey St. Clair.
Lori missed this, the times when she would listen to the stories her siblings have to share and how they're days have been doing.
Deep down, she couldn't wait to leave and make her mark of change for the future she'll have, with or without those she once called family. Because she wants to regain all that has been lost, let it be the trust or the forgiveness or both, one way or another.
But right now she has one obstacle to handle, and that obstacle is Sasha Alabaman. 'And I will help you with your problem.'
