It's that day once again this February and we are spreading the love in the air, with Valentine's Day, and then follows by the Royal Woods Elementary official Sadie Hawkins Dance, so we're gonna be focused on that and not the High School prom. Enjoy reading this guys.
Family of Two.
Chapter 184: Our February the 14th.
(February 14, Ketcham Park.)
As of my last two stories, love is in the air and everyone is feeling the good vibes of being there with those they call the ones they love the most, mostly couples and married folks and some starting relationships.
But for now, we see Lincoln and his mom, Luna, and also with them is Michelle Lewis and all three of them walk around the park and take in the peace and serenity of the park and enjoy the good people just having fun and being happy for what the day has for them.
"This sure is nice" replied Lincoln. He takes in a deep breath of the air. "Sure smells great with the whole park filled with a lot of good and happy folks, and I see some familiar faces too."
They see many of their friends from High School and Grade school and some familiar preteens from Middle School, and they're all couples are enjoying their own company.
They even see Lucy talking to Rocky and she gives him her Valentine's Day gift, which is an action figure of a vampire super hero and this makes Rocky smile and kiss her cheek and then he shows her something they can share together, a black forest chocolate cake, but not the big kind of cake.
Lola is talking to Winston and both are happy with the cards they gave each other, and then there's Lana whose enjoying this Valentine's Day with Skippy, and both are happy with the Lego mechanics shop playset they got each other.
Mrs. Johnson is there, and she's having a lovely conversation with Norm he Janitor and they look onto Lola and Lana who are happy with their crushes.
"Well, this does make the park the biggest hotspot for some romance in the air and I am proud of how cute they all are, especially the Middle School kids" replied Michelle.
"A shame Sam couldn't join us, but she said she's gonna spend a day with her little bro, but I'll get some romance time when she and I meet at tonight's High School prom" replied Luna. "And sure to heck, tonight is gonna be rockin' and a rollin'!"
Lincoln smiles hearing this and seeing his mom all happy for what tonight has for her. "Yeah, and the same goes with me. This might not be my first ever Sadie Hawkins Dance, but it is my first time with Jordan Rosato and the first time we're a couple and sparking our own relationship thing."
Luna ruffles his hair and kisses his forehead. "Oh, my little boy and his first Sadie Hawkins Dance with a girl he sees as his special lady. I don't know how else tonight is gonna go so well, Lincoln."
Michelle kisses his forehead too. "Sure to heck, I got something good for you to wear tonight and you're gonna look so good in it, that Jordan will see that you are one cool kid."
Lincoln chuckles. "Thanks Auntie, Michelle and I look forward to seeing the… Oh boy." They all look to what direction he's looking at and they see that annoying woman, Selena Williams trying to go into the park and place some posters, but a peacekeeper tells her to leave.
The woman starts arguing with the officer, and he tells her that she's gonna be one major annoyance should she come into the park and so with no other choice and with everyone looking at her sternly, Selena Williams leaves and drives off.
Luna sighs in relief. "Thank goodness that lady's not gonna be here, otherwise things would get a whole lot worse and she's be nothing more than some hoodlum who wants to be the killjoy in everyone's fun and romantic times."
Lincoln and Michelle agree and they see the tree on the hill and enjoy the moment together.
They just sit there and watch as everyone else is enjoying their time at the park.
Lincoln looks to Luna and Michelle, and he hands the two women a box of chocolates and this surprises them. "What the? Lincoln…"
Lincoln smiles. "This is… Well, my way to say that there is no other kind of gals in my life to truly call family, than the best mom I have ever gotten and to kindest and most well-earned Auntie I could have ever asked for."
"I may not have been born from you mom and sure you didn't raise me fully as you went through life as a young girl, but every good moment with you is the best moments I have ever had and would never, ever forget and I would treasure it all for as long as our lives have."
Luna is touched by what he son said. Then the snow-haired boy looks towards Michelle.
"I may have had a lot of doubts when you came and talked to us, but knowing how much hurt you have been through even before you met us, it means that you're not the same person as before and that you truly deserve a family that you can look to as the ones you can care about, and be there for, and even though you're not related to us, it's a dang good life to have you with us, by our side."
Michelle sheds some tears and she hugs the snow-haired boy. "Oh Linc, I just wish we had something for you in return."
Lincoln hugs them both. "It's okay mom, Michelle. What matters is that we have each other and are here enjoying this time, and that's all that I want for this Valentine's Day… next to spending some time with Jordan tonight of course."
Luna and Michelle chuckle hearing this and they kiss Lincolns cheeks and then his forehead and they pull him close and enjoy this family loving moment together, a mother, a son and their auntie.
Lincoln then recalls. "A shame Great Grandma Harriet couldn't be here to enjoy this."
Michelle does recall that one. "Well, she did say she had to visit someone this year… Someone she lost long ago and wants to say how much she feels about him."
They know what she means, Harriet Willard went to see the grave of her deceased husband and to tell him all that has happened, and how much she truly misses him.
But at least she's here in the world of the living and doing her part to be there for the family she loves.
(Royal Woods Elementary School.)
The purple Ferrari of Luna Loud arrives, and the engine turns off and coming out is Lincoln and his mom, Luna Loud, and both of them are dressed for the night, though Lincoln seems like he's dressed as he usually is.
Lincoln Loud – a light blue shirt inside of an orange hoodie jacket with the logo of a rabbit on the shoulder, dark blue jeans and orange and white sneakers.
Luna Loud – purple blouse and knee length skirt, her purple bracelets and musical note-shaped earrings, along with purple heeled shoes, and she has some makeup on.
Luna smirks looking at her kid. "Gotta admit, Michelle was right. You look cool in that and I know your special lady is gonna like you in It." she goes over and adjusts his hair and this makes Lincoln chuckle.
"Thanks mom, and you look lovely too. I know Sam is gonna love this night with you."
Luna hugs her son and he hugs her back. "Thanks kiddo, I hope you and Jordan have an awesome time, but who am I kidding. I know that the two of you are gonna make this night the best you two have ever had and possibly better than last year."
Lincoln recalls that one. "Mom, don't be like that. When you got me hooked with Tabby, it was a better sign when she met Liam, you may have gotten someone for me, but in truth you helped Tabby meet someone better."
Luna smiles at this. "Thanks and I guess you're right." Then she notices someone coming to them. "Linc, special lady incoming."
Lincoln turns around and sees Jordan. "Lincoln, you came!" They both look at what she was wearing and this seems like a normal clothing she would wear on a Friday.
Jordan Rosato – a light blue jacket with a yellow shirt inside, light blue mini-skirt with black leggings underneath, white socks and her signature brown shoes, and of course the same kind of hair-style she always has.
Seeing Jordan makes Lincoln smiles and he walks towards her and the duo share a nice hug. "Good to see you here, Linc. Didn't think you would come, and yet you did."
Lincoln chuckles. "I wasn't gonna leave you to be on your own." they depart from the hug and look to each other. "You're the one girl I wanna spend this night with, and this is the first time we're going to the Sadie Hawkins Dance, together and as a couple. A Sparking Relationship of our own."
Jordan giggles. "Nice words for tonight, I can't wait to enjoy this night with you, Linc."
They then look to Luna who has a camera and they know what this means, so they both get in position and let Luna take a picture of them. Lincoln looks to Jordan. "Did your parents do the same thing?"
Jordan giggles. "Pretty much. They wanted to take a pic of me in this, but they do wish they can take a pic of me and you together."
Luna then stops. "Then I'll be sure to give them a copy of the pic." This makes them all chuckle.
Luna then goes over and she hugs them both. She then departs from the hug and looks to the two kids. "This is just… The best moment for a mother like me, to see my little boy go on his dance with the girl he can call that true special someone. I don't know how else this is gonna get better."
"But I know you two will have fun and that no matter what's gonna happen, you both know how to watch each other's backs and go against the odds. As Linc and I have always done."
Lincoln smiles and he hugs his mom again. "Thanks for the words mom, they mean a lot to the two of us."
"He's right." Jordan hugs her too. "And everything will be okay, Lunes. We'll be here and we'll be having fun and we'll meet you later when this is all over, or you might come and pick us up."
Luna smiles and she hugs them both. "I know how to show my love, even to someone who is gonna be family too." They depart from the hug and Luna looks to her son. "Linc, if I'm not here yet, you have to either call Michelle to pick you up…"
Jordan then has an idea. "Or he could hitch a ride with me once my mom comes to pick me up."
Luna smiles hearing that. "Smart girl, that's a good idea, little Rosato." She then looks to the time. "Well, I should get going." She places a kiss on Lincoln's forehead and then to Jordan's. "Sorry, Jordan. I kinda see you as family and you kinda deserve it."
Jordan giggles. "No, no. It's cool, I liked it."
Lincoln kisses his mom's cheek and hugs her once more. "See you soon mom, you and Sam have an awesome time tonight." Luna hugs her son one more time and then they depart from the hug.
Lincoln and Jordan watch as Luna goes back to her car and she waves goodbye to them and she drives off to the Royal Woods High School for her prom night with her special Sharp lady.
Lincoln and Jordan look to each other and feel kinda nervous and they both grab something from their pockets and Lincoln shows her a lovely bouquet of roses, and Jordan has a box of heart shaped chocolates for him.
Lincoln and Jordan look at what they have for each other and the two kids blush and chuckle a bit. "Wow. Looks like we did came prepared for today and tonight" replied Jordan. "The roses look pretty."
Lincoln smirks. "Not as pretty as you, my darling." He then holds her hand. "You ready to enjoy our first Sadie Hawkins Dance together?"
Jordan intertwines her fingers with his. "As ready as I'll ever be." the duo then walk towards the school and head to the gym, and when they go through the main doors of the gym they are amazed at what they see.

Lincoln smirks. "Wow. This place sure is looking into the hearts and romance thing, good for Clyde and Chloe to make this place look so dang into the Valentine's Day spirit."
Jordan kisses Lincolns cheek which makes him blush. "And I can't wait to see what else is in store as we let the night take us on some romantic fun."
The duo walk to the others and they begin to enjoy the night that has in store for them, but they'll know what Luna and Sam did when the following day comes.
But for now, let the Sadie Hawkins dance for Lincoln and Jordan go forward with the love they have for each other.
