Chapter 33.
Festival Preparations.
1-A Classroom.
More than a week before Izuku wakes up.
Almost all of class A is sitting in their seats, only one person was missing, that is Izuku, who is in a coma. The current spirits of the class are low as they have just lost someone very important to the class.
At that moment, Aizawa enters the room, somewhat surprised by his low spirits, however he understands. – "Good day. I guess everyone is up to date with Midoriya's current situation."- Aizawa said. – "However, we cannot be late with the program. That brings me to my next point, we will have a cultural festival."-
This announcement raised the spirits of the class a little. – "A normal school activity!"-
- "Unlike other years, the cultural festival will take place only inside the school. Each class must choose what they are going to do at the festival. Today we will dedicate ourselves to that."- Aizawa said before looking at Yaoyorozu. – "Yaoyorozu, as class vice president, while Midoriya is absent you will be in charge of the class."-
After that, Aizawa got into his sleeping bag and Yaoyorozu walked to the front of the class. – "Alright, first we need some ideas, so it would be best to see if any of us have any ideas for the festival."-
- "An arm-wrestling tournament!" – Kirishima said.
- "A center of crepes!"- Sato said.
- "A dance!"- Mina said.

- "My brilliant show."- Aoyama said.
- "A short game or something."- Jirou said, this caught Kaminari's attention, he thought that the girl would propose something more musical.

Classes are over and now everyone is in the dorms, most of the class was in the common room to decide what they are going to do.

- "Don't worry…"- Jirou said. – "We will be the best!"-
- "In that case... we're going to impress everyone at the UA!"- Bakugo said.
- "Alright, we have the drummer, I'll be on bass, we need more members..."- Jirou said.
- "I can play the piano, if that's useful..."- Momo said.

Today is Saturday, it is the UA students' day off, but class A decided to use this day to prepare for the cultural festival.
The group in charge of the music has already finished choosing their song and now they are practicing. – "Our music has been chosen! It's time to practice until dead!"-
The dance group was practicing with Mina in the lead helping everyone line up. – "No, it's not like that, you must move your arms like this!"-
The staging team is discussing how everything is set up. – "No, if we do it this way, we won't have enough people."-
As the dance team practices outside the dorms, a figure inadvertently approaches. – "It seems that no one has noticed us... it's time to prepare our masterful entrance!"- The figure said as he jumped in front of everyone. – "We are here!"- The figure turned out to be Mirio, but he is not alone, with him are Eri, Gatomon and Aizawa.
- "Mirio!?"- Everyone present is surprised.
Mirio was in his casual clothes, while Eri was wearing a white dress shirt with a frilled collar and a plain red pinafore with two large, golden buttons on either side of her chest. Under this, she wears gray tights and a large set of tan boots, and a small dark red messenger bag with the strap sitting over her right shoulder, and a little floral pattern decorating one of its sides. Her hair also looks to be better cared, Gatomon is the same as always.
- "Eri and Gatomon are here too..."- Melissa said. – "What are they doing here?"-
- "It was an authorization from the principal."- Aizawa said. – "As I will be very busy these days, Mirio offers to take care of her while she is here."-
Eri shyly approaches Melissa. - "Y-You are the fairy lady…"-
Melissa crouches down to Eri's height and smiles at her. – "Yes, that's me."- Melissa wanted to pat Eri's head, but refrained, not knowing how the girl would react.
In that, the group in charge of the music, except Bakugou, leaves the dorms. – "Hey, how are you doing?"- Jirou said, but stopped when she saw Eri. – "Who is the girl?"-
Kaminari, who came with Jirou, recognizes her. – "It's Eri-chan!"-
- "Do you know her?"- Jirou asked.
- "Yes, it's the girl we rescued."- Kanninari said before approaching Eri. – "Eri-chan, do you remember me?"-
Eri nods nervously. – "Electric guy..."-
Kaminari smiles at this. – "She remembers me..."- He thought proudly.
- "Agni-san isn't here…"- Eri said slightly sadly. These words made everyone nervous, how do they explain to her?
Melissa is the one who answers. – "Izuku is not in good health right now, that's why he can't be with us."-
- "Oh…"- Eri said.
- "Well, it's nice to see you, but I want to show Eri the rest of the place, if you'll excuse us."- Mirio said but before he left, he could feel Eri pulling on his pants. Mirio turns to see the girl. – "What's up Eri-chan?
- "Can the fairy lady come with us?"- Eri asked while pointing at Melissa.
- "For me there is no problem, but I don't know she can."- Mirio said turning to see Melissa.
- "I'd love to go, but..."- Melissa started to say but was interrupted by Mina.
- "Don't worry, go. Eri asks you to go, so don't let her down!"- Mina said.
- "I guess I can go with you."- Melissa said.

- "It seems that classes are canceled due to preparations for the festival."- Mirio said as he, Eri, Gatomon and Melissa tour the UA facility. Around him all the students are preparing their own activities that they will do.
As the four walk through the place, a dragon's head stands in their way. – "Excuse me... hey it's the new girl from class A."- Tetsutetsu said as he and a few others from class B carried the dragon's head.
- "Wait, what? She is killing time in this place? She surely has a lot of free time!"- Monoma said. – "You will do a live show, right? I think it's not bad at all, but I'll tell you once... class B will be the best! Romeo and Juliet: Prisoner of Azkaban and the Return of the King! A work of fantasy exclusive to class B! You better get ready; we'll leave you crying! I'll save you a box of tissues for when that happens! Hahahaha!" –
When Monoma was done with his... weird stuff, he realized that the whole time he was ignored, Melissa and the rest were already heading elsewhere. – "What else do you want to see Eri-chan?"- Melissa asked Eri as they walked away from Monoma.
- "Why don't we go see Nejire? She is participating in a beauty pageant!"- Mirio said.
- "Beauty pageant? What is that?"- Eri asked.
- "It is a contest where several people compete to see who is the most beautiful, although the UA adds talent exhibitions as well."- Mirio explained.
- "Usually it is us, the girls, who compete in these types of contests."- Melissa said.
- "I don't see the point of this kind of things."- Gatomon said.
- "It's more for entertainment than anything else."- Melissa said. – "Although there are people who take it very seriously…"-
- "Let's not waste any more time, let's see."- Mirio said.

- "I see that Eri is fine."- Someone said approaching.
- "Principal Nezu?"- Mirio said. – "What are you doing here?"-
- "Taking a little walk after finishing with the paperwork."- Nezu said. – "By the way Melissa. When the festival is over, I'm going to need you guys for something."-
- "You mean..."- Melissa asked, Nezu nodded. – "And what about..."-
- "Hopefully Midoriya can join us by then, for now we'll settle for the four of you."- Nezu said. – "Well, if you'll excuse me, there are matters I must attend to."- Nezu said before leaving, but not before exchanging glances and friendly smiles with Gatomon.
- "Fairy lady… What are you going to do?"- Eri said.
- "You can call me Melissa if you want, Eri."- Melissa said. – "But to answer your question, we are going to do a live music show. I will be dancing."-
- "I want to be there... I want to see it."- Eri said with a slight twinkle in her eyes.
- "Don't worry Eri, I'll make sure you can see him, I'll be with you."- Mirio said.
- "Well, I think it's time for me to get back to my class."- Melissa said as she got up from her chair. – "I can't wait to see you at the festival, Eri!"-

- "Feeling nervous and embarrassed is normal, but we must strive to give our best."- Jirou said.
- "Aren't you the most nervous of all of us?"- Kaminari said.
- "I'm nervous, but that doesn't mean I don't do my best, besides, it's also important to have fun, right?"- Jirou said.
- "That's the spirit!"- Kaminari said giving a thumbs up.
- "We have a problem."- Todoroki said. – "The rope that we will use to lift Aoyama is very worn and we will not be able to use it."-
- "Don't worry, I can go tomorrow and buy another one."- Melissa said. – "There's a store that opens at 8 that's 15 minutes from here, I'll be back before my absence is noticed."-

They all start to leave, but Kaminari notices that Jirou was still in the common room, he decides to stay. – "Aren't you going to sleep?"- Kamianri asked.
- "Yeah, I just need to finish checking a few things."-
- "Something bothers you, right?"- Kaminari said.
Jirou remains silent. - "My parents introduced me to music when I was very young... I feel that I am going to disappoint them, music has been something very important in my family."-
- "Hey come on! Don't you think you're being too hard on yourself?"- Kaminari said. – "I think you'll do great. You managed to teach us all to play instruments in record time while you practiced on your own, if you ask me that's pretty cool."-
- "Do you really believe that?"-
- "Yeah! Also, this is not a competition, maybe some see it that way, but you don't have to see it that way, you said it yourself, let's have fun!"- Kaminari said.

Jirou's blush grows, out of embarrassment she stabs Kaminari with her jacks. – "S-Shut up…"-
- "All right, okay, sorry. But it's true, everything I said, I really meant it."- Kaminari said as she recovered from the damage. – "I guess it's better to go to sleep."-
- "Wait! Before that."- Jirou stops Kaminari and approaches him. Hesitating a bit, Jirou proceeds to give Kaminari a quick peck on the cheek. This leaves Kaminari petrified and blushing, Jirou was also blushing. – "You... also look good to me."-
- "I…"- Kaminari tried to say but is interrupted by Jirou.
- "I'll give you a chance, if you want."- Jirou said.
- "Y-Yes... I would like that."- Kaminari said.
- "Well, for now let's focus on the show. I'll see you tomorrow."- Jirou quickly goes to her room, her blush still present on her face.
Kaminari stares at the place where Jirou left when a smile appears on his face. – "So this is what Midoriya and Melissa do..."-

- "So the UA is preparing its cultural festival."- A person said. That person is a man with a refined appearance. He has a slicked-back hairdo with a curl at the front and sports a handlebar mustache along with a well-kept, medium-sized beard. He has thick black lines around his eyes resembling eyeliner which he applied himself with a marker. His clothes are also quite extravagant, featuring a dark purple jacket with enlarged collars and coattails, a pair of loose, pinstriped pants, and two belts. He also wears a pair of cuffs, and purple gloves along with a woolly scarf of the same color. He is seen using a cane to walk. – "I wonder what would happen if someone invaded it at that time."-
This person is Gentle Criminal.

Another chapter finished.
This time a more relaxed chapter, but no less important.
As you know, this is happening before Izuku wakes up, that's why he's not here.
As Izuku is not here and therefore cannot walk with Eri, so I needed someone to replace him, for obvious reasons it had to be someone involved in Eri's rescue, I think Melissa is fine.
I think it's obvious because of the title of the next chapter, but Melissa will be the one to face Gentle Criminal.
We also have some KamiJirou at the end, what do you think?
I plan to give a partner to all the chosen ones on the side of the good guys, Izuku is already with Melissa and as you saw Kaminari paired him with Jirou.
I have already chosen the one for Shinso, but not for Todoroki.
I don't want to do TodoMomo because I feel that it is a very common ship, so I ask you to give me suggestions for who to pair with Todoroki.
This idea of all the chosen ones paired with someone was a suggestion from someone who told me about it by PM and I thought it was an interesting idea.
One last thing, I need suggestions for Melissa's hero name, the reason why I haven't given her a name yet is because I can't think of good names, so give me suggestions, I'll choose the one I like the most.
PS: If it has some kind of meaning in any culture… that will be better, then the name has an even greater meaning.
