Time to see how things have been since the attack of Tetherby and how Lincoln and Luna are doing, this seems kinda familiar with most of my chapters involving Lincoln getting into harm's way, and an OC from one of my stories is there to help check on them and end up talking to someone too.

Family of Two.
Chapter 187: Emotional Turmoil.
(Royal Woods General Hospital.)
At the hospital, Luna slowly opens her eyes and her vision adjusts to the light in the room. She then slowly sits up, but feels this pain on her waist. "What the… Ow." She then uncovers the blanket and her hospital gown and she notices this patched up area to her right side of her waist.
"What the heck?? Wait, Lincoln!"
Sam wakes up and goes towards Luna. "Oh god. Luna, calm down. It's okay now, it's over."
Luna has tears in her eyes as she looks to her girlfriend. "Sam… Lincoln, he was… And then…"
Sam hugs her. "Lunes, calm down. Please. We don't want you moving around too much… Also, Linc is here." She turns to her left, while Luna looks to her right side and she sees another bed neighboring her.
There he is, her son Lincoln Loud unconscious and in bed with some bandages in his bruises and looking like a mess, almost. His black eye is healing.
Luna begins to shed some tears seeing him like this, bringing back bad memories and making her realize something. "Sam… It, It h-happened again… He got h-hurt and I didn't… Didn't even know, and n-now here he is… Again."
Sam looks towards Lincoln, she too feels the pain and she knows how Luna feels. But she has to make sure Luna is fine. "Lunes, look at me…" The pixie-cut hair style teen looks to the blonde.
"Luna, do not say that this was your fault. It never was, what happened was something… Something that was out of our control and now, he's safe again. Remember what you said to him, that you two would be facing some tough and hard times and that those times might cause trouble and harm either of you."
"Because no matter what bad thing happens, you and Linc find a way to get through it and go back to the life you guys have now. There's nothing to blame yourself for, this was not your fault and it never was Lunes. He's okay now." They both look to Lincoln, who is still unconscious. "He'll wake up, soon."
But Luna still felt bad for not doing something sooner. "B-But… He got hurt, and I wasn't…"
"Don't say it Luna." They both see Michelle Lewis walk into the room and close the door behind you. "We saw the footage of how it went down, and don't say your weren't fast enough, because no one and I mean no one is even fast enough to stop what could've happened."
Michelle sits next to Sam and looks to her niece, and holds Luna's hand. "He may have been hurt in the hands of someone cruel, but at least you came for him, and saved him before it got worse."
"She's right." The trio then look to the girl sitting by Lincoln's side and holding his hand. It was Jordan Rosato. Luna was surprised that she didn't even notice her there.
She has a few bruises sure, but at least she's looking alright. Jordan wipes away a few of her tears. "We didn't know this would happen and we both got into some trouble that… That we both didn't see coming, and we both got caught into the mix and got hurt."
"Lincoln, he… He took the hits for me, he took the beating for me while I was…. Doing nothing, just there and not even… Gosh, I should've tried to fight back, but I didn't. What the hell? I should've done something and he got… Got hurt."
Luna could tell that Jordan is feeling the same pain as she is. "Jordan… Come here, please."
Jordan gets up from her seat and she goes over to Luna, and climbs on the bed and the duo embrace each other.
"I get it, Jordan. I know how you feel… I was far from the two of you and I couldn't do anything to stop what was going on, and I couldn't even be there to end the madness and now… We're both hurt, and Linc is down, but not out."
Sam then mentions. "You did something, Jordan. You got rid of that bastard, Tetherby. Because he's long gone now, and sure to hell he ain't gonna come back anytime soon."
Jordan just cries into Luna's shoulder. "I just… We could've been… And we nearly, why did this happen Luna? Why did this happen to us, to you and to Lincoln?"
Luna sighs and she rubs the girls back. "I don't know, Jordan. I don't know. But what matters is that you and Linc are okay now, you're okay and he'll be recovering and back to being himself again. Don't go doing this to yourself, what you did was brave and taking down that fool took a lot of courage…"
"And loyalty." Lori enters the room and she goes over and hugs them both. "Don't be like this you two. Luna, you came up with the plan to rescue them and Jordan, you came in to end that monster before he could've done worse."
"You two are heroes, and be grateful for that…"
Luna and Jordan smile and they continue this embrace, with Lori.
Not knowing that more company have shown up. Albert, Myrtle, Great Grandma Harriet, Lincoln and Luna's friends from school, The Rosato parents, Lola and Lana, Lucy and Lisa, StoneHeart, Merris, and of course, Dr. Kendrick shows up.
The Doctor sighs in relief. 'At least she's awake now. I can tell her the condition she's in now.' The man goes towards them and Luna notices the doctor.
They depart from the hug and look to the man. "Give it to me straight doc. What's the issue?"
The Doctor then explains. "Alright, so I'm gonna tell you about what damage you got, which didn't seem much and be glad that no vital organs were hit, and the folks at the dropship helped stop the bleeding, you'll be able to recover after the day after tomorrow."
Luna smiles hearing that. "And, what about, Lincoln?"
"Alright, so thankfully he wasn't hit in the spine, but his lungs took a hit and we had to perform surgery on him to patch up the wound and because of his injury he nearly went critical due to intense internal bleeding, and so we managed to patch him up and get some blood flowing through his veins thanks to you."
Luna is confused, and so are the others. "What do you mean?"
The Doctor needed to explain to her what happened. "After we patched you up, you asked me about your kid and that he's going to surgery. Then you said you wanted to donate some blood to him should he need it and so we went with your plan… You don't recall, do you?"
Luna is surprised. "I… I said that?"
Lisa then sees the conclusion in this. It appears whatever injury Luna has suffered from may have also caused some trauma and shock to her head, obviously from getting shot and therefore she was able to remain conscious to know what was happening, but once she healed up she lost memory of what had happened after she was healed."
"She has a point." They all step aside as one of FutureTech's representatives arrives. "Hello, Ms. Loud." It's Jack Cyber. "Glad to see you're alright and I should tell you that after the whole outcome of the attack and rescue onto Tetherby's mansion, there was something we did not see coming."
They all didn't know how to say this, and Luna is confused. "What? What happened?"
Albert decides to tell her. "Yeah… The mansion blew up."
Luna is surprised by this. "What?! How?! Why?!"
Jack Cyber raised his hand. "That one was on me. As you could recall I was at the outpost when you needed help and so I came with the Mastodon you needed and helped you charge into the fight and light them up."
"But, after you had left and we were all searching for stragglers of the goons in the mansion, I accidently pushed the button on the mech, and I released 25 high-explosive photon grenades and we all had to scatter out of there. We managed to race out of the mansion and it blew up."
"Though, Tetherby was alive still, before the whole place went boom. So, I technically killed him, and the Mastodon was destroyed through the whole thing, so… I am in deep shit trouble when I get back to my world. Also, what's left of the mansion is a large smoldering crater of nothing… We don't know what to do with that place at this point."
Then Lucy speaks. "Word from the mayor is that she'll put that ruined land to good use, obviously for some other project the town needed."
Luna did not see this coming, but she cared little for that fat rich old fool and whatever happened to him, what matters is that her son, Lincoln is alright and soon to wake up.
Luna looks to her son. "Leave us, I wanna be here and look at my boy."
They all nod and take their leave, but Jordan hugs Luna. "Thank you for saving us, Luna." She then kisses the teens cheek.
Luna smiles from this gesture and she returns the hug and kisses her cheek. "I did what I had to, Jordan. For you, and for Lincoln. Always."
They depart from the hug and Jordan leaves the room, but she goes to Lincoln's unconscious form and she kisses his cheek and whispers. "Please be okay, Lincoln. We're all praying for you to be alright, and doing fine."
She then takes her leave, Luna smiles seeing at the loyal and cute gesture the girl did for her son, and she looks to her son and sighs. "Linc… What happened back there, I don't know how It could've gone fro bad to worse, and I felt like I couldn't do what I was tasked to do."
Luna then looks to her hands. Not knowing something has changed in the room.
"So much has passed, from the day it all began and it hasn't even been a year yet and all hell has come down so fast onto us. We're a family, the two of us and to those who we also see family. We became a mother and son, but that feeling was around even before this happened to us."
Luna begins to shed some tears as she covers her eyes with her hands.
"I said I would keep you safe, but how can I when we face dangers that want us dead? There's just too much trouble going on, and we're getting caught in the eye of the storm… But I can only do little to ease the pain and comfort your sorrows. Lincoln… I'm…"
Then someone hugs her. Luna turns to her right and sees her son is out of bed and hugging her. "L-Lincoln?"
Lincoln tiredly opens her eyes and looks to his mother. "Mom… Thank you, and please… This isn't your fault… Don't be sorry, please."
Luna begins to shed some tears and she hugs him back. "Lincoln… My son, you're okay."
Lincoln slowly snuggles close to her, even with the sore pain to his back it didn't matter. He couldn't care less, to the fact that all he could feel was the comforting embrace from his mother.
"I love you mom… Than you, for saving us."
Luna sheds some tears and she kisses his forehead, and she looks to his face and smiles. "I love you too Linc, and I will do whatever I can to keep you safe and alive. No matter what happens."
Luna begins to kiss his cheeks, his nose and pretty much his whole face which makes Lincoln smile. They return to the hug once more and calm down, they may be sore, but the love they share is keeping that pain numb.
The mother and son stay in this embrace, for as long as they recover.
