This time we have a new chapter of The Digital Hero.

Chapter 39.
The battle begins.
Deika City. Outskirts.
- "Here we are... Deika city."- Shigaraki said while nearby the city could be seen, the rest of the league was lined up behind him, Stain, Toga, Dabi, Twice, Mr. Compress, Magne and Spinner were ready to fight.
- "I like the environment."- Twice said.
- "Tomura Shigaraki... are you sure that just us will be enough?"- Mr. Compress asked. – "According to our spies, the entire city is made up of members of the meta liberation army. Wouldn't it be better to bring the Digimon to help us?"-
- "No... this idiot dared to disrespect me... this is personal, besides... it's more fun this way."- An excited Shigaraki said. – "We are going to kill them all and at the same time show that they are just a small pebble in our path."-
- "Someone is coming!"- Toga said as he realized that someone was approaching at full speed.
They all prepare to fight but are surprised to see that the one approaching is a hero. – "stop! I was sent as your guide!"- The hero said.
Said hero is an exceptionally tall, well-built man, possessing defined muscles and wide shoulders. He has small black eyes, a circular nose, and a prominently large, square jaw, with the lower jaw protruding outwards, and his mouth is notably high up on his face as a result.
His hero costume consists of a purple, skin-tight bodysuit with black arrow-like markings across his chest, around his waist, and down the center of his thighs. His knee-high boots share this theme, as they have arrow-shaped cavities down their shafts, and he also wears a matching black mask over the top of his head and eyes. On his hands, he wears elbow-length green gloves with golden scale patterns around the edges, and he also sports a short green scarf-like cape around his neck, a golden disc on the left of it to connect two aiguillettes around his torso. He completes his outfit with a thick black belt with a large buckle, five green circles and a golden rectangle set into the center of it.
- "The professional hero Slidin' Go…"- Shigaraki said. – "Just like the spies said... they also have heroes within their army."-
- "If you wish to speak with the leaders of the army... please come with me!"- Slidin' Go said.
The league of villains decided to follow the hero.

Villains Hideout. Secret Room.
Dr. Garaki is watching everything, he has all the security cameras in the city hacked to see the battle, he knows perfectly well that Shigaraki is going to win, he just wants to see how he is going to do it.
Suddenly, his mobile phone rings, the doctor answers it. – "Hello…"-
- *Oh what a dry hello...*- The person on the other end of the line said.
- "Kishibe… What do you want?"- said.
- * Can't I call my favorite partner? * - Rie said.
- "Not while I'm working here, you're lucky I'm alone now."- Garaki said.
- *Well never mind, I have good news! * - Rie hangs up the phone. – "I have the information you need."- Rie says as she appears behind Garaki.
- "It was about time... I couldn't delay the plan any longer."- Dr. Garaki said getting up from the chair at the same time showing his appearance.
Kyudai is a fairly old man of a portly and short stature. He is completely bald and has a very large and bushy mustache. As a villain, he wears a rather peculiar set of goggles that are shaped somewhat like gears, along with a white, buttoned-up labcoat and a watch.
- "You're still in your disguise... what do you call yourself now... Kyudai Garaki?"- Rie said. – "Why don't you show me your true appearance... the one I like so much."-
Garaki is silent for a few seconds, then he turns the ring on his watch and his appearance begins to change, thus revealing his true identity.
His real appearance is a lanky, older man who tends to have a hunched stature. He has silver, middle-part, bowl cut hair that is shorter in the back than in the front. Suedou has small, violet irises, pencil-thin brows, and is usually seen with a rather venomous, curled smirk. Under his black trench coat, he wears a lavender suit with a white collared-shirt and white tie tucked under. He is always seen wearing black, wrist-length gloves that match his trench coat as well as a purple scarf.
- "That's much better... Akemi Suedou."- Rie said revealing the real name of the doctor.
- "I only do it because we are alone."- Suedou said as he put his camouflage back on as Dr. Garaki. – "Now give me the information."-
Rie hands Garaki a briefcase. - "It's all there... even the other information."-
Hearing that, a smile appears on Garaki's face. – "Good job, Kishibe."- Garaki returns to his seat to continue observing the conflict in Deika.
- "Isn't that the city of Deika?"- Rie asked.
- "That's right, Tomura Shigaraki is about to face the meta liberation army."- Garaki said.
- "Those crazy people... Can I stay and watch? After all, Tomura-kun knows that I'm working with you, so my presence won't raise any suspicions."- Rie said.
- "Fine… Just because you fulfilled your part of the plan."- Garaki said.

Deika City. Center.
The league of villains arrives at the meeting place with the leaders of the army, the most remarkable thing is that the city seems to be a ghost town, however Shigaraki knows what they are really up to. – "This smells like an ambush..."- Signaling to the rest of the league members, they all prepare to fight.
The league is greeted by Trumpet and Curious. – "Welcome to the city of Deika... league of villains."- Trumpet said. – "Without further ado, let's begin... the festival of resurrection!"- Once Trumpet says that hundreds of civilians come out of hiding to attack the league.
- "Let the carnage begin..."- Shigaraki said before using his quirk to disintegrate three people who tried to attack him. – "Spread out and kill them all! But don't forget... Re-Destro is mine!"-
Upon Shigaraki's order, the league members split up and begin killing everyone they meet.
- "Let's have some fun! But first it's my turn!"- Toga said, but suddenly at the moment of stepping on the ground it explodes in the place where she stepped.
- "The criminal who has perpetuated the most death by blood loss."- Curious said as she approached Toga. – "Himiko Toga! The schoolgirl who fell into dementia!"-
As Curious speaks to Toga, she begins to surround dozens of civilians, ready to attack her. Suddenly a knife kills the person who was next to Curious, he gets distracted for a second and when she turns to see she can't see Toga anywhere. – "She disappeared... so that's the reason why they haven't been able to capture her..."- Curious thought. – "Where..."-
Before finishing her train of thought, Toga appears on top of Curious ready to stab her, but her attack is blocked by the civilians who attack the girl, with the combined strength of all the civilians they are able to push Toga through the glass of a building.
- "Be careful girl! You don't know where you can be stepping!"- Curious says and the moment Toga steps on the floor... an explosion occurs, knocking Toga down.
Chitose Kizuki aka Curious.
Meta Ability: Landmine.
Chitose's Meta Ability allowed her to bestow explosive properties on anything she touched, be it an object or a living being. A single landmine was not strong enough to be lethal, but she was capable of creating numerous landmines to make up for this weakness.
- "Now please... attack."- After the words of one of their leaders, the civilians charge against Toga who is recovering from the explosion.
Before the civilians get close enough, Toga launches her syringes at them, and begins to suck the civilians' blood, while putting on her mask. – "With this mask I can directly ingest the blood that my syringes suck without having to store it first."- After this Toga begins to ingest the blood of civilians.
- "It is true! Your quirk allows you to transform into the people whose blood you have ingested! It would be a shame if someone did something with the blood of those people."- The moment Curious said that Toga can feel how all the blood she ingested from the civilians explodes inside her.
- "The blood exploded?!" - It was the only thing Toga could think of as all the civilians inside the building with her exploded too, just like a kamikaze.
- "Our soldiers have selflessly volunteered to transform into bombs, so we could specifically corner you and your abilities!"- Curious said. Toga barely manages to get out of the explosion, but her body was badly injured. – "I have a question for you Toga-chan... how does it feel to fight for the wrong side?!"- Just as Curious says that the rest of the explosive blood explodes inside Toga's body, who falls to the ground unconscious.
The civilians approach Toga's unconscious body to finish the job, but Toga's body suddenly jumps and lands on the roof of a nearby house, Toga looks up and on her bloody face you can see an expression of fury. – "You hurt Toga-chan... I will never forgive you for that"- Ranamon said while using Toga's body.
- "Her voice changed…"- Curious thought surprised by Toga's sudden change.
Suddenly from the sewers the water begins to swirl above Toga who was being surrounded by black mud, once all the water is united in a single whirlpool above Toga, the mud disappears to show, instead of Toga, Ranamon completely furious. – "You will pay with your life for what you did to Toga!"-
- "What...!?"- Curious thought at the moment in which Ranamon launched the whirlwind of water against the horde of civilians, managed to get them all flying and some crashing against the walls of various buildings and with others dying when they crashed to the ground.
Ranamon jumps off the roof and lands in front of Curious, two civilians try to attack her from behind, but with a movement of her fingers she launches a jet of water under pressure and fine enough to cut off the heads of both civilians. – "Lord Tomura-kun wants us to kill all of you, so unlike the camp invasion... I don't have to hold back!"-
Curious uses her bracelet which transforms into a large metal fist and attacks Ranamon, however, Ranamon dodges the attack which, when hitting the wall, creates an explosion.
Ranamon counters with a kick causing Curious to crash into the wall of a building. – "You feel very powerful, with your powers and those gadgets... let me show you what true power is."- Ranamon says to later be surrounded by data. – "Ranamon slide digivolve to… Calamaramon."- Once the data disappears instead of Ranamon there was Calamaramon, the water beast spirit.
Calmaramon's body is divided into two parts: from the waist down, its body is shaped like an inverted giant squid with multiple eyes. The rest of her body is humanoid in shape resembling a sea witch. Her skin tone is mauve, and her hair is purple. On her head she has a triangular hat that highlights her appearance as a witch.
Curious and his small army, or at least those who survived Ranamon's attack, can do nothing but stand still in fear, some of them try to escape but are crushed by Calamaramon's tentacles. – "Your name is Curious, right?"- Calamaramon said while preparing an attack to finish off Curious and her soldiers. – "Let's see if after this you can still be curious. Acid Ink!"- Calamaramon screamed at the moment of shooting acid ink from her mouth which completely dissolved Curious and all her soldiers, killing them all instantly.

In the tower, Re-Destro is watching the entire battle, surprised by the appearance of Calamaramon, but still willing to do everything to destroy the league of villains.
Suddenly Skeptic enters the room. – "Re-Destroy! We have a problem! Curious has been killed!"-
Re-Destro remains calm, a treacherous tear falls from his eye. - "I see... let's not let her sacrifice and that of her soldiers be in vain!"- Re-Destro turns at Skeptic. – "Prepare to use the plan against Twice, according to the information his mental problems will be of great advantage to us."-
- "Yes Sir!"-

Elsewhere on the battlefield, Stain, Spinner, and Mr. Compress are fighting off the approaching hordes of civilians.
- "It doesn't matter how many we defeat! More keep popping up!" – Stain said.
– "Look, over there!"- Mr. Compress said pointing to where Calamaramon was. – "It seems that Toga got bored."-
- "Or maybe something has happened to Toga so that Ranamon has been forced to appear and even worse... digivolve."- Stain said while killing a few civilians. – "By the way, where is Twice? He is supposed to be with us!"-
- "I don't know, after the last horde he separated from us, I couldn't see where he went."- said.
- "Well... it doesn't matter, if things get complicated, he has Arbormon to help him."-
Suddenly a vehicle appears in the middle of the battlefield. - "Everyone! Listen!"- Trumpet said from the top of the vehicle. – "I have to give you the bad news that Miss Curious has been defeated!"-
- "It can't be!"- Civilians said in sorrow.
- "However... our supreme leader does not want her sacrifice to have been in vain!"- Trumpet said.
These words made the civilians excited again. – "Yes!"-
- "More than an army... they look like a cult!"- Mr. Compress said.
Suddenly more than a dozen civilians charge Shigaraki, who has his back to the horde. – "Shigaraki!"-
Hearing this Shigaraki turns around; however, his look seems to be bored. – "How boring... I thought this would be more exciting."- In that, a wheel of dark data appears in the right hand of Shiagaraki, who takes the corrupted D-Scan and makes it come into contact with said data. – "Let's get this over with! Evolution!"- The data surrounds Shigaraki and several seconds later, when the data disappears, Duskmon appears in his place. – "Duskmon!"- And with a swing of his two swords, Shigaraki slashed the entire horde of civilians in half.

In another part of the city, Dabi is burning anyone he comes across when suddenly two giant fists of ice fall in front of him cutting off one of his attacks, on top of both fists of ice was Geten.
Geten is clad in a thick, light-blue parka that reaches down below his knees, done up in the center with seven brown buttons, with a fur-lined hood that covers his face from view. He also sports black baggy pants and a pair of lace-up winter boots, his face is completely hidden under his hood.
- "Ice..."- Dabi said. – "I see that you are strong huh…"-
- "The bearer of blue flames... Dabi, the only one in the league with the ability to do area attacks."- Geten said. – "Why don't you use your fire right away? Do you expect something? Or is something wrong with your quirk?"- After these words Geten attacks with a powerful ice attack.
Geten.
Meta Ability: Ice Manipulation.
Geten's Meta Ability allows him to freely manipulate any and all nearby ice. He can freely gather, move, attack with, and defend with the ice he manipulates. The range of this power extends to roughly the size of a whole town.
These words seemed to bother Dabi somewhat. – "I see you failed basic science... The ice melts!"- Dabi said before attacking with a blast of fire managing to melt Geten's attack.
Seeing this, Geten creates two ice pillars with which he propels himself into the sky to avoid Dabi's attack. – "Well... this sucks."- Geten said, Suddenly, all the ice in the city, ice cubes in freezers and stores, etc., starts to gather on Geten's side. – "My ability gives me the power to manipulate ice. I've spent years perfecting my special ability!"- At the moment of saying that two giant dragons, made of ice, appear on both sides of Geten, who is kept in the air thanks to an ice platform on his feet. – "Instead of going to school I have been training more than any hero! Don't think that your little flames can melt my ice!"-
- "Your life sounds like a very good one... meanwhile I... I can't remember mine!"- Dabi said at the moment of expelling a gigantic flare which equaled the power of Geten's attack, both attacks collided creating a gigantic gust of wind, which was felt through the entire city.
- "Dabi is having fun, don't you think?"- Magne said as she smashed an enemy's skull with her weapon while Spinner was slashing people with his swords.

On another side of the city, Twice was alone as he had been swept away by a horde of people, but he was currently alone.
- "Where are the people?"- Twice asked to himself.
- "Don't worry."- A voice catches Twice's attention, the voice belongs to Skeptic, who is sitting on the roof of what appears to be a warehouse. – "Twice, without a doubt the most troublesome member of the league... if it wasn't for one small detail."- The doors of the warehouse open and several people who resemble Twice, his civilian self, come out of it. – "The trauma that was caused by abusing his own quirk!"-
All the "Jin" rush at Twice while he is motionless, he is playing Skeptic's game. – "Ah!"- Twice yells in fake fear.
Tomoyasu Chikazoku aka Skeptic.
Meta Ability: Anthropomorph.
Skeptic's Meta Ability allows him to take a human-sized object, such as a desk or refrigerator, and turn it into an extremely lifelike lookalike of any given person which he can control like a puppet. He can use several puppets at a time, and also has the ability to make more than one of the same person at a time.
When all the "Jin" manage to catch Twice they begin to remove his mask, hoping to mentally destroy him, However, when one of them managed to remove the mask, Skeptic was surprised to see that Twice was smiling instead of being scared. – "You fell for it…"- Suddenly several clones of Twice appear and start attacking the "Jin".
- "What?! It's impossible, you shouldn't be able to clone yourself!"- Skeptic said in fear.
Little by little the fake "Jin" fell one by one while the real Twice menacingly approached Skeptic. - "Apparently your information was wrong!"- Twice takes out a knife and attacks Skeptic, luckily for him, one of the fake Jin gets him out of the way, preventing him from being hurt by Twice.
Twice positions himself in front of Skeptic who is lying on the ground. – "Do you want to know how I healed?"- Suddenly black mud begins to surround Twice. – "Let me show you…"- The mud disappears to show, instead of Twice, Arbormon. - "Hello… human."- Arbormon said.
Skeptic was so scared he couldn't move. - "W-What the hell are you?"- He said in fear.
- "Nobody in special..."- Arbormon said before extending his arms and destroying all the false Jin in the place. – "I'm just your worst nightmare!"-
Skeptic grabs all the courage he can and starts running as fast as he can.
- "Run as much as you can! You won't be able to hide from me... Arbormon slide digivolve to... Petaldramon!"- Arbormon transforms into Petaldramon and inserts his tail into the ground, so that where Skeptic was, several vines would appear and trap Skeptic. – "It's time to finish you off!"- It was the last thing Skeptic heard as Petaldramon pierced him with several roots that grew from his tail.

Back in Dabi's fight against Geten, Dabi manages to melt the last of Geten's ice and then manage to hit him with a blast of fire. – "So much for the ice… your quirk is ice manipulation... but there is no more ice to manipulate, I win."-
Dabi attacks one last time with another flare, but to his surprise Geten creates ice and blocks Dabi's attack. - "Don't think that's all I can do... I can also manipulate the temperature of the ice, if I throw some ice into the sewers, all the water in the city will freeze and it will be my domain... also your friend did me a favor by taking the water out of the sewers, now I have control on the ground."- Geten said at the time that columns of soil combined with ice emerge from below the ground, completely modifying the battlefield. – "In short, I am the strongest here!"-
- "How annoying..."- It was the only thing Dabi said before preparing to continue the fight.
- "Dabi! Change with me! Your body can't go on like this!"- Grumblemon said from inside Dabi's mind. – "No… This is my battle and I'm going to win it!"- Dabi responded to his tenant, ready to continue fighting.

We move forward with the battle of the league of villains against the meta liberation army.
Little by little the leaders of the meta liberation army are falling.
Curious and Skeptic have already fallen, Geten, Trumpet and Re-Destro remain.
We have the debut of Calamaramon.
After quite some time, Arbormon and Petaldramon also reappear.
Now we are in the middle of Dabi's fight against Geten, now Dabi finds himself with the terrain at a disadvantage in addition to the effects of his quirk against his body... will he be able to defeat Geten by himself or will Grumblemon have to intervene?
In the next chapter we will explore a little more in Dabi's past.
I'm writing this arc slowly as I feel like the last two arcs have been a bit fast paced and lacking in content, so I'm taking my time writing this arc.
