Chapter 42.
The last mission.
Very late at night, at this time everyone is sleeping, when there is no one in the streets, a car drives in the dark, inside that car are the chosen five, being taken to their destination by a very tired Aizawa. – "Every day that passes I regret even more knowing about Digimon."- Aizawa said.
- "We are tired too."- Shinso, from the back seat, said.
- "Why did there have to be an emergency so late?"- A sleepy Kaminari said.
- "It is our duty as the chosen ones to help the digital world, as well as our world, the villains can attack at any time, we have to be alert at all times."- Izuku said.
- "That doesn't change the fact that we're tired."- Melissa said.
- "We have arrived, don't waste time and finish this quickly, so we can go back to sleep."- Aizawa said stopping the car.
- "Don't worry Aizawa-sensei, we'll be back before you notice."- Izuku said as he and his friends got out of the car and entered the building.
- "This is very troublesome..."- Aizawa muttered as he pulled out his sleeping bag from the glove compartment, taking advantage of the situation to get some sleep.

The chosen ones enter the building and are greeted by Yuuko, who looks tired and irritated at the same time.
- "Sorry Yuuko-san, we weren't expecting an emergency at this time of night either."- Izuku said.
- "No, it's not because of that, my work has doubled since Rie Kishibe went to who knows where. Not only that, apparently we have been robbed of information about the digital world and Digimon... if this information reaches the public..."- Yuuko said. – "Anyway, leave that to me... please take the elevator, they're waiting for you."-
After this the chosen ones enter the elevator and go to the underground, once they arrive they are surprised to see Trailmon already waiting for them.
- "It's good to see you again, chosen ones."- Trailmon said. – "Especially seeing all five of you again."-
- "It's good to see you again Trailmon."- Izuku said while as he enters the wagon.
The portal to the Digital World opens. - "All right, it's time to go."- Trailmon said as he entered the portal.

Trailmon crosses the portal and successfully reaches the Digital World. – "We have arrived, next stop Folder Continent."- Trailmon said.
- "Oh... there again."- Izuku said.
- "Do you already know that place?"- Todoroki asked.
- "Yes, when I was... on sabbatical in the digital world I was in the folder continent."- Izuku said.
- "So you know where we're going."- Kaminari said.
- "No... my situation was different, I didn't see anyone from the resistance during my stay here... although I did come across one of the demon lords, Leviamon the demon lord of envy."- Izuku said.
- "And what happened?"- Shinso asked.
- "He escaped."- Izuku said.
- "They may have found him again and that's why they're calling us."- Melissa suggested.

When leaving Trailmon, the chosen ones are greeted by a somewhat peculiar Digimon.
Said Digimon is basically a pink fur ball with feet and hands, a pair of wings and a spear in its hands. – "Welcome, chosen ones."- The Digimon said.
- "Hello... I suppose you are from the resistance and will take us to the meeting place."- Izuku said.
- "It is correct, I am Piximon, one of the leaders of the resistance, please follow me, on the way I will give you the details."- Piximon said as he leads the chosen ones. – "I assume you know the reason for the call."-
- "Yes, it is not the first time that we have been asked for help to face a demon lord."- Shinso said.
- "Yes, I am aware that they have already helped in the defeat of two, Beelzeemon and Barbamon."- Piximon said.
- "Who are we facing now?"- Todoroki asked.
- "To the demon lord of sloth, Belphemon Rage Mode."- Piximon said.
- "I see... something else we should know."- Izuku said.
- "There are several things you need to know, but first there are some who want to see you."- Piximon said the moment they arrive at the camp.
When all the Volteans arrive, when they check the place, the chosen ones can see several familiar faces, faces that greet them.
- "Chosen ones! It's good to see you again."- One of the familiar faces, Crescemon, said.

In the distance, those mentioned greet the chosen ones.
- "And what happened to Leomon?"- Shinso asked.
- "Oh, okay, he went to do a ground survey, but he's coming back."- Crescemon said.
- "I'm back, rather."- A voice behind them said, when they turned around there it was, Leomon, but something changed.
Leomon is still a humanoid lion but now he is styled after the modern Banchō, a particular type of juvenile delinquent.
- "Leomon... Did you..."- Izuku said.
- "That's right, I've Digivolved, now I'm BanchoLeomon!"- The now BanchoLeomon said. – "But that's not all... during my countless battles I've met other Digimon just like me, inspired by you I've formed my own team... Chosen Ones! Let me introduce my colleagues!"-
As BanchoLeomon said this, four figures appeared behind him.
The first figure is a black stone golem, wearing some clothes similar to that of BanchoLeomon.- "I am BanchoGolemon!"-
The second one is a fairy Digimon styled after the modern Banchō, a particular type of juvenile delinquent. It has a black flower with a yellow stamen and a cross-shaped scar on its head, and its hair is made from vines. It wears a sailor fuku top, black leather skirt, black boots, and black finger-less gloves on its hands as well as pink bandages on its forearms. It has four purple leaf-like wings on its back under its red Tokkō-fuku. – "I am BanchoLillymon!"-
The third one is a small, ball-like Digimon who have been styled after the modern Banchō, a particular type of juvenile delinquent. It has red eyes, a fang, and a scar on the left side of its face. It wears a black cap with a golden Mamemon badge, a GAKU-RAN, and black shoes. – "I am BanchoMamemon!"-
The fourth is a red insectoid Digimon, it carries the same Bancho outfit as the rest of its colleagues. – "I am BanchoStingmon!"-
- "And I am BanchoLeomon and together we are, BAN-TYO!"- BanchoLeomon said.
- "Cool!"- Izuku said. – "You are like a group of heroes!"-
- "You could say that… Anyway, we have to continue!"- BanchoLeomon said. – "We just need one more..."-
In that, a large Digimon lands on the spot, Izuku recognizes it. – "ShineGreymon!"- Izuku said with a smile.
ShineGreymon recognizes his old partner. - "Izuku! Good to see you again!"- ShineGreymon said as he gave Izuku a fist bump.
- "ShineGreymon, inform!" – BanchoLeomon said.
- "Yes sir!"- ShineGreymon said while everyone gathers. – "The suspicions are true, Belphemon and his army have completely taken over the mine. The only way to get in will be by force."-
- "I see..."- BanchoLeomon said.
- "Eh... we're a bit lost here..."- Izuku said.
- "Oh yeah... right, you don't know everything."- BanchoLeomon said while pointing at the distance.
In the distance, a place resembling a mine could be seen, the place was being guarded by various Digimon.
- "It's a mine... I guess that's where Belphemon is hiding."- Shinso said.
- "Right, but this is not just any mine, this is a special mine where we get the Chrome Digizoid, a metal from which practically all the metallic materials in the Digital World are made."- BanchoLeomon said. – "Belphemon raided the mine a week ago and seized it, that's why we know he's here... but he hasn't been out for a long time."-
- "To do that... Belphemon must be very strong."- Todoroki said.
- "Indeed, in fact out of all the demon lords still alive... he is the third strongest."-
- "What if we count them all?"-
- "He would be the fourth strongest."-
- "And what is the order of strength?"- Melissa asked.
- "From the weakest to the strongest... Lilithmon is the weakest, followed by Beelzemon, Barbamon, Belphemon, Daemon, Leviamon and the strongest of all is Lucemon."- BanchoLeomon explained. – "In fact, Lucemon is so strong that he could take on the three weakest demon lords at the same time... and win."-
- "He is so strong..."- Kaminari said.
- "And that's not the worst... Lucemon is the only one of the seven great demon lords who is not a demon type... he is still a fallen angel."- BanchoLeomon said.
- "What do you mean by demon and fallen angel?"- Izuku asked.
- "There was a time when the seven great demon lords were not demons, before that they were Digimon angels, who served under the orders of the three great angels, however Lucemon, when it was still only Lucemon, urged them to rebel against the three great angels, which he achieved and all of them became fallen angels."-
- "That means that Lucemon used to be someone good..."- Shinso said.
- "That's right, in fact the Lucemon that all of you have heard about, its full name is Lucemon Falldown Mode."- BanchoLeomon said. – "As I was telling them, after Lucemon urged them and they all became fallen angels, what everyone knows as the rebellion of the angels began, a war between the forces of the fallen angels against the forces of the angels. Little by little all the fallen angels were changing until they became the demons we know now... except Lucemon, who never became a demon and even so became the leader of the seven great demon lords, those strongest demon between all, adopting an emblem each, representing one of the seven deadly sins each."-
- "And how were they defeated?"- Melissa asked.
- "It was with the help of the ten legendary warriors, in fact it was thanks to that that they obtained that title. In the end, the demons were banished to the dark area, a place where only darkness and evil exist, ruled by the seven great demon lords, it was quite some time after that Lucemon managed to escape and go to your world... you already know the rest."-
- "Wow... that's quite a lot to process..."- Izuku said. – "But if they used to be good before... do you think there is a way for them to redeem themselves?"-
- "No... none of them can redeem themselves, it's been tried before... even Lucemon who is still a fallen angel is even more evil than the rest of the demon lords."-
- "I see... it's a shame... but I guess we have things to do, right?"- Izuku said.
- "It is true! Continuing with the attack plans... it's very simple, as ShineGreymon said, the only way to enter the mine is through a frontal attack."- BanchoLeomon said.
- "I guess this time we'll be part of the attack..."- Shinso said.
- "Something like that... you will go with us, but your priority is to go in and look for Belphemon, but don't worry, the BAN-TYO will go with you!"-
- "Cool!"- Izuku said.
- "All right everyone, get ready! We attack in five!" – BanchoLeomon said. – "Now if you'll excuse me... I have some last-minute orders to give."-
As BanchoLeomon left to give orders, Izuku turns to see his friends. – "Are you ready?"- He asked with a smile.
- "Yes!"- All four replied with smiles.
- "Let's defeat this guy."- Izuku said.
- "Evolution!"- The five said in unison, transforming into their human spirits,

Nearby the Mine.
The resistance battalion is near the mine, this time the chosen ones are with them. BanchoLeomon is at the head of the battalion. – "Alright comrades... the time to face our enemy has arrived. These guys have been causing terror in our world, despite all the chaos of our history, despite the failures and discord, despite the pain and suffering, throughout the ages there has been something that has fueled our spirit and has raised us, our courage!"- BanchoLeomon turns to see the battalion.- "Don't give up, this suffering will soon end, we have already finished off other demon lords in the past and if we defeat this one it will be one less to worry about."- BanchoLeomon takes his sword and turns back to the mine. - "Let's show this guy what we're capable of! One step closer to a world without darkness!"-
- "What a good speech."-
- "Yeah."-
BanchoLeomon smiles. - "It's the moment! Let's go!"- Upon this, the entire battalion let out a battle cry/roar and charged the mine.
Astamon is a humanoid Digimon with the appearance of a 'mobster' from the 1960s. As can be seen, it is dressed in what appears to be a purple cotton suit with vertical white stripes on both the vest and pants. On his left leg he seems to be wearing a kind of bandage that covers part of his thigh, it is unknown if it is for decoration or because under these he has some kind of wound. Over his jacket he also wears a kind of grayish trench coat with several red embroideries in some parts of it. Around his neck he wears what appears to be a kind of red scarf or cloak that he drops in front of his suit. His hands seem to be covered by white gloves and his boots, black, seem to have a kind of blades on the tip of them as a weapon. As for his head, say that it is partially covered by what appears to be the skin of another Digimon. To finish, say that he has a long white mane that falls down his back and a pair of wings on it.
Astamon is one of the mine guards, while he is on guard he can see how the entire resistance battalion is approaching. – "Damn it! Attention everyone! Enemies are coming! Devimon, inform the troops! The rest, attack!"- Astamon starts shooting while the rest of the evil digimon attack the battalion. – "Lord Belphemon is not ready for combat yet."-
Both groups collide and the battle begins.
Izuku is with the rest of the chosen ones, running through the battlefield to reach the mine, behind the chosen ones the BAN-TYO follow them. His steps are stopped by several enemy Digimon. – "We have to keep moving forward! Pyro Punch!"- Izuku said as he punched an enemy with his fist covered in fire.
Shinso connects his two swords and starts spinning his weapon. – "Two Victors!"- Starting to slash at various enemies in his path, but quickly stops when he sees one charging at him. – "Howling Laser!"- Shooting a beam of light from the weapon on his left wrist, he manages to knock down the enemy.
In the air several enemies charge against the resistance, but suddenly – "Ice Age!"- they are attacked and frozen by an attack from Todoroki, while the enemies fall Todoroki covers his claws with ice. – "Ice Claws!"- With an attack of his frozen claws he manages to defeat the enemies in the air.
- "Flowery Gust!"- Melissa knocks down an enemy with a couple of kicks, around her she can see how several Digimon approach to attack her, she quickly stands on her hands. – "Tempest Twist!"- Unleashing a whirlwind kick Melissa defeats her attackers.
Kaminari attacks an enemy with an electric punch. – "Thunder Fist!"- Quickly defeating it, but several more Digimon pounce on it. – "That's a bad idea! Punishment Shock!"- Kaminari quickly releases a large amount of electricity, managing to get rid of his enemies.
Izuku dodges an enemy's attack, quickly doing a backflip, as he lands he points his hands at a bunch of charging enemies. – "Fire Darts!"- Shooting multiple fireballs from his gauntlets at the enemies. The enemies are defeated but two of them manage to avoid the attack and charge at Izuku. Dodging the attack of one Izuku prepares to fight back. – "Pyro Punch!"- Izuku defeats one of the enemies in one hit. – "Salaman Rider Kick!"- And with a fire kick he defeats the other.
- "Gather!"- Izuku indicates his team, and they all gather to continue advancing. As the five approach the main entrance of the mine, they are stopped by gunshots.
Astamon is the cause of the shots, this Digimon stands in front of the chosen ones stopping their advance. - "I can't let you keep going!"- Astamon said as he continues to shoot, the chosen ones move to dodge the shots. Astamon is about to hit Izuku, but someone stands between him and the shots, that someone is BanchoGolemon, who is not affected by the shots. – "Do you want to die first?! For me perfect!"- Astamon said as he continued to fire at BanchoGolemon, who took no damage from the shots.
Suddenly a yo-yo made of a thorny plant wraps around Astamon's weapon. – "I'm sorry, but I think I'd better take that off you."- BanchoLillymon said, who is the owner of said yo-yo. Quickly pulling on the yo-yo, BanchoLillymon strips Astamon of his weapon.
The rest of the BAN-TYO appear and BanchoLeomon gives the indication. - "It's time for the BAN-TYO combination!"- Following BanchoLeomon's indication, the first to attack is BanchoStingmon, who uses the drills in his hands to attack Astamon. After three consecutive attacks from the BanchoLillymon drills, Astamon gets entangled with his yo-yo and then picks him up and smashes him to the ground. After this BanchoGolemon attacks Astamon with an uppercut lifting him into the air. Taking advantage of this, BanchoMamemon attacks Astamon with his weapons, stamping him back to the ground. Finally, Astamon struggles to get up, only to see BanchoLeomon in front of him. – "And with this we finish! Flash Bancho Punch!"- Releasing a fist packed with fighting spirit honed to its utmost limit, BanchoLeomon destroys Astamon.
- "Let's go! We have to keep moving forward!"- Izuku said.
Everyone keeps moving forward, but just before they reach the entrance to the mine, the ground in front of them breaks and a Digimon bigger than the rest comes out.
Said Digimon is a large green Digimon, around its body several skulls of enemies that it has faced can be observed. He carries a sword made with the head of a SkullGreymon. The Digimon attacks with its sword, luckily the attack is dodged by the resistance, however this attack creates a hole.
- "What is that?!"- Kaminari asked.
- "It's a Titamon!"- BanchoLeomon said. – "Be careful!"- BanchoLeomon warns when he sees that Titamon prepares another attack.
Titamon attacks with his sword again, but this time the attack is stopped by another sword, the GeoGrey sword wielded by ShineGreymon. – "Keep going, I'll take care of this enemy!"- ShineGreymon said as he made Titamon take a few steps back.
The sword fight continues, in which BanchoLeomon appears and attacks Titamon with a Flash Bancho Punch, knocking down the enemy. – "BAN-TYO go with the chosen ones! I will help ShineGreymon!"- BanchoLeomon ordered.
Upon hearing the orders, the rest of the BAN-TYO follow the chosen ones into the mine.

Inside the mine.
The chosen ones along with the rest of the BAN-TYO continue their way inside the mine, in search of Belphemon. However, someone stands between them and stops their progress by attacking them.
The attack kicks up dust and once it dissipates the attacker can be seen. The attacking Digimon is a blue cyborg digimon with yellow and red details, equipped with the Gigastick Lance on its right arm.
- "Darkdramon…"- BanchoStingmon said. – "What are you doing here?"-
- "I found out that you would be part of this attack, so I joined Belphemon's troops to finally be able to eliminate you... BAN-TYO!"- Darkdramon said as he charged the group. – "Demon Stab"- Darkdramon attacks with his weapon, luckily the resistance group manages to dodge the attack.
- "Who is that?! Sounds like he already knows you guys."- Izuku said.
- "It's Darkdramon, a dark digimon that has been hunting us for a while." – BanchoLillymon said. – "Chosen ones! Go ahead, we'll take care of this guy!"-
- "Roger that! Good luck!"- Izuku said as he motioned for the rest of his friends to continue. Izuku said as he motioned for the rest of his friends to continue.
The chosen ones continue advancing, but Darkdramon seeing this decides to attack. – "Don't think you can get away from me! Dark Roar!"- Quickly shooting a beam of dark energy directly towards the chosen ones.
The attack hits just below the chosen ones, creating an explosion, luckily Izuku, Melissa, Todoroki and Kaminari are propelled forward by the explosion, however Shinso was not so lucky, although the attack did not hit him directly, it destroyed the ground and caused him to fall several meters down.
- "Shinso-kun!" – Izuku said. – "Shinso-kun! Are you okay?! Can you hear me?!"
- "I'm fine!"- Shinso says from below. – "I don't think I can go up though. You guys go ahead, I'll find a way to you!"-
- "Ok! Let's continue!"-
Meanwhile Darkdramon is somewhat annoyed at having missed the attack. – "Damn it!"- In that he turns to see the BAN-TYO. – "Well, never mind, I can still destroy you!"-
- "We'll see!"- BanchoLillymon said.
After these words both sides charge against the other, Darkdramon against the BAN-TYO minus BanchoLeomon.
