One day he is attacked by a villain, when he is on the verge of death an ancient creature chooses him to wield a power greater than any quirk. With this he will become the greatest hero. 43. Chapter 43: Light in the Darkness

Well, Hello there again.

This time we have a new chapter of The Digital Hero.

Nothing more to say let's dive right in.

Chapter 43.

Light in the Darkness.

– "Don't think you can get away from me! Dark Roar!"- Darkdramon screamed while shooting a beam of dark energy directly towards the chosen ones.

Shinso just listens to him and then an explosion occurs, he can see how his friends are pushed by it, however he falls through the hole that said explosion creates. Shinso recovers from the fall, the place is dark, probably an unexplored place in the mine, in that Izuku's voice is heard from above. – "Shinso-kun! Are you okay?! Can you hear me?!"-

- "I'm fine!"- Shinso answered. – "I don't think I can go up though. You guys go ahead, I'll find a way to you!"- He said as he looked around him. – "That is, if I can find a way to you..."-

- "Ok! Let's continue!"- Izuku said from above, after this Shinso hears the footsteps of his friends walking away.

Shinso creates a sphere of light to illuminate the place, apparently the only way is to go straight. – "Here we go..."- Shinso said to himself as he starts to walk.

With Izuku and the others.

The now chosen four continue to advance through the mine in search of the main room, where Balphemon should be. – "Izuku, are you sure we leave Shinso behind?"- Melissa asked.

- "I trust him... I'm completely sure he'll find a way to get to us."- Izuku said. - "For now, we have to keep moving forward."-

BAN-TYO vs Darkdramon.

- "Gigastick Lance!"- Darkdramon attacks the BAN-TYO with a blow using the Gigastick Lance. Luckily the BAN-TYO dodge the attack. - "Come om! Don't dodge! That's not fun!"-

- "Nightmare Assemble!"- BanchoLillymon attacks Darkdramon with her yo-yo, however Darkdramon deflects Lillymon's attack with his Lance.

BanchoStingmon now attacks Darkdramon with his wrist drills. – "Bloody Finish!"- BanchoStingmon and Darkdramon begin to exchange attacks with their respective weapons, until Darkdramon deflects BanchoStingmon's attack and grabs BanchoStingmon by the neck and throws it at BanchoLillymon, who was charging at Darkdramon, knocking both of them down.

- "World Claw Drill! / Golden Rush!"- BanchoGolemon and BanchoMamemon attack Darkdramon together. BanchoGolemon attacks with the excavator on his left arm while BanchoMamemon attacks with his weapons.

- "Gigastick Lance!"- Darkdramon blocks both attacks, using his Lance to parry BanchoGolemon's attack and his left arm blocking BanchoMamemon's attack. – "You'll need more than that to defeat me!"- Darkdramon said as he began to load dark energy into his weapon. – "Dark Roar!"- Shooting the energy from his weapon, causing BanchoGolemon to fly out and crash into the wall. BanchoMamenon takes a few steps back after seeing what happened with his partner, however… – "Demon Stab!"- Darkdramon appears in front of him and attacks him multiple times with his weapon causing him to crash into the wall.

Suddenly BanchoLillymon's yo-yo gets entangled in Darkdramon's weapon. Taking advantage of this, BanchoLillymon pushes himself to get closer to Darkdramon. – "Twin Petal!"- Managing to hit Darkdramon with a couple of kicks to the body and making him take a couple of steps back.

But the attack doesn't end here, as BanchoStingmon appears on top of Darkdramon along with various insects around him. – "Bakuraiten!"- The insects are directed against Darkdramon, when they reach Darkdramon's side the insects self-destruct.

After this attack BanchoGolemon and BanchoMamemon recover and stand next to their teammates. When the smoke from the explosions disperses, a slightly damaged Darkdramon can be seen, but undeterred by the injuries. – "Not bad... come on! We have to keep fighting! Let's see who survives, you or me!" –

With Izuku and the others.

After traveling a long way, Izuku and the rest of the chosen ones, except Shinso, arrive at the main room. The chosen four arrive ready to meet Belphemon and start a fight, but to their surprise, the place is quiet. – "The place is... quiet."- Kaminari said.

- "Stay sharp! There is something wrong here..."- Izuku said.

- "Look there!"- Melissa said while pointing at something.

When looking at what Melissa is pointing at they can see a creature, said creature has the form of a small creature bound with chains on its body. It has a pair of horns on its head and some teeth near its horns. He also has wings which allow him to float, and he has an alarm clock chained to his body.

- "What is that?"- Todoroki asked.

- "That can't be Belphemon... can it?"- Kaminari said.

- "I don't see anyone else..."- Melissa said.

- "He hasn't even noticed our presence..."- Todoroki said.

- "I have a bad feeling about this..."- Izuku said.

As they talk they don't realize that the Digimon slightly opens its eyes.

With Shinso.

After walking for a long time, Shinso arrives at a room bigger than the rest. Even so, the place is still dark and a slight feeling of being watched surrounds Shinso, in that Shinso notices a slight light at the back of the room. As he gets closer he can see a crystal sphere, inside the sphere there is energy moving inside and apparently there is something else inside. Looking better, Shinso notices that there is a Digimon inside said sphere.

Said Digimon is an archetypal armored knight. Its body is encased all over in white armor with red parts on its pauldrons, poleyns, end of its vambraces and the ankle plate of its sabatons as well as gold trimming. It wears a huge, flowing, red cape. Its helmet contains Guilmon's face as a crest. It wields a circular shield called the Aegis and a huge lance called Gram.

- "What the…"- Shinso said to himself, however a noise catches his attention. Turning around he can see a pair of eyes looking directly at him from the darkness of the ceiling.

- "So you found him..."- The figure said as it came down from the ceiling and let itself be seen by Shinso. – "Still I don't think you can do anything about it."- The Digimon said.

Said Digimon design is derived from the Y2K Bug, and so its body resembles a spindly spider. Its face resembles a traditional Hannya mask, with the intricate eye markings characteristic of its family. It bears long, green-gray limbs capable of stretching, with large red claws on its hands and feet. The exoskeleton covering its upper torso resembles a heavy blue armor with a row of red spikes along the spine, and a large green cannon muzzle on its chest.

- "What the hell? Who are you? Who is that over there?"- Shinso said.

- "I am Diaboromon. I am allied with Belphemon to guard him."- Diaboromon said referring to the trapped digimon.

- "What's so special about him?"- Shinso asked.

- "Very simple, he is Dukemon, one of the royal knights."- Diaboromon said.

- "Royal Knights… The on that is missing!"- Shinso said.

- "Exactly. As long as Belphemon keeps feeding me... I'll keep guarding this place."- Diaboromon said.

- "Feeding you…"-

- "Unlike many Digimon... I feed on other Digimon's data in order to evolve."- Diaboromon laughs. – "He usually brings me some of his subordinates to feed me, other times some enemies... but this time I'll feed on one of the descendants of the legendary warriors!"-

After saying this Diaboromon charges at Shinso, attacking with its claws. Shinso barely manages to dodge the attack, said attack when it hits the ground destroys a part of it. – "Howling Laser!"- Shinso fires a beam of light at Daborimon, however Daborimon easily destroys the attack. – "Sh*t" Two Victors!"- Shinso connects his swords and attacks Diaboromon, who defends himself with his claws.

With Izuku and the others.

- "All right, we can safely say that that Digimon over there is Belphemon."- Izuku said as he pointed at the strange Digimon. - "As harmless as it looks... we have to be careful."-

- "You're right, he's one of the seven great demon lords for a reason."- Todoroki said.

- "What do we do?"- Kaminari asked.

- "We all have to attack together!"- Melissa said.

- "Good idea. Get ready, you have to attack at the same time!"-

The four of them stand in front of Blelphemon and prepare to attack. – "Now!"- Izuku indicates.

- "Fire Darts! / Ice Age! / Hurricane Wave! / Lightning Blitz!"- The four use their respective ranged attacks to attack Belphemon, upon hitting the target an explosion occurs and smoke is created.

- "Huh? Someone has interrupted my sleep..."- The enemy Digimon said, once the smoke clears, the enemy Digimon can be seen unaffected by the attacks. – "I see... so it was those famous chosen ones…"- When he finishes saying that, his eyes suddenly open, showing his blood red eyes, suddenly the alarm clock separates from the chains and they, along with the alarm clock, fall to the ground. Just as that happens, a large amount of energy is expelled from the Digimon's body, causing it to start changing. Once the energy stops being expelled, Belphemon's new appearance can be seen.

Belphemon is a large beast much like a demonic bear. It has six wings, a very muscular body surrounded by various chains, and carries a paw with four huge claws on each hand and two huge horns on its head.

- "Nobody has managed to interrupt my dream and come out alive after doing it... and you will not be the exception!"- A furious Belphemon said. – "Now die!"- Belphemon from one second to another appears among the chosen ones and attacks, an attack that the chosen ones barely manage to dodge, however Belphemon's attack does not end here, taking the chain from his body he continues with his attack. – "Lamprathus!"- Surrounding his chains of black fire he attacks the chosen ones, knocking down all four.

Izuku is the first to get up, quickly charging at Belphemon with a fire fist. – "Pyro Punch!"- However, with a simple movement of his hands, Belphemon destroys Izuku's attack and grabs him by the arm, to later use it as a weapon against Kaminari who was charging at Belphemon, crashing Izuku into Kaminari.

From behind Todoroki and Melissa attack Belphemon, but Belphemon doesn't flinch and quickly dodges both attacks thanks to his speed and appears behind them both, quickly attacking them with his claws and knocking them down.

Belphemon prepares to attack again, but before he can attack his blows they are stopped by Izuku, who is now transformed into BurningGreymon. However Izuku points both of his "Rudriya Darpaṇa" at Belphemon. – "Corona Blaster!"- And he shoots several lasers against his enemy, which cause Belphemon to stop using force and cover himself from the attacks, not because they are doing a lot of damage, but because they are being annoying.

Once the attack ends Belphemon attacks Izuku again, this time with a punch to the stomach making Izuku spit out some saliva from the blow and fall to his knees, Before Belphemon can attack Izuku again, Kaminari, now transformed into MetalKabutaerimon, appears to punch Belphemon in the face, knocking him back a few steps and giving Izuku time to get back on his feet.

Quickly recovering, Belphemon prepares to attack again, but a shower of sharp feathers stops him, The cause was Melissa who, transformed into Zephyrmon, used her "Hurricane Gale" attack to stop Belphemon, although she really just made him angrier.

Belphemon charges against the Chosen again, but this time Todoroki, in his CrysPaledramon form, appears in front of him and manages to stop him momentarily, an opportunity that the rest of the Chosen take advantage of to attack.

– "Crimson Fanger!"- Izuku attacks with his claws engulfed in fire.

- "Gigantic Impact!"- Kaminari attacks directly by tackling with his entire body.

- "Gilgamesh Upper!"- And Melissa attacks strongly with a hook.

The combination of the three attacks makes Belphemon stagger slightly, so that later... – "Frozen Claw!"- Todoroki attacks him with his ice claws, effectively sending him flying and crashing into one of the mine walls.

- "I don't think that beat him..."- Todoroki said.

- "Me neither... get ready!"- Izuku said.

At that moment, a furious Belphemon emerges from the rubble of the wall. – "Let's stop playing games..."- After saying this, green fire surrounds his claws, increasing them in size. – "Gift of Darkness!"- Belphemon charges against his four opponents with a fairly high speed, so fast that the chosen ones had no time to react and were hit by Belphemon's attack, causing the four to crash into the wall, destroying it completely.

The chosen four with difficulty get up, Izuku who took most of the damage falls to his knees and returns to his human form. – "D*mn it… I think there is no other option..."- He said.

- "Izuku... what are you planning to do?"- Melissa asks with concern.

- "I'm gonna use Aldamon..."- Izuku said.

- "What?! Are you crazy? We don't know if you can resist it!"- Todoroki said.

- "I'll have to take the risk... it's either that or be defeated..."- Izuku said before facing Belphemon. – "Hey Belphemon! I'm still standing!"- These words were enough to get Belphemon's attention, who quickly charges at Izuku. Seeing this, Izuku takes his D-Scan and prepares to transform. – "Fusion Evolution!"- Before Belphemon manages to hit Izuku, a pair of hands stops his attacks dead in their tracks. These hands are those of Izuku, transformed into Aldamon. – "Aizawa-sensei said that this transformation is a last resort...because this seems to me a situation to use it."- Izuku and Belphemon begin to struggle, this is used by the rest of the chosen ones to attack Belphemon and make him take a few steps back.

- "How are you doing Midoriya?"- Todoroki asked.

- "At the moment everything is fine, but we have to worry about that later, for now we have to concentrate on the combat."- Izuku said.

- "Got it boss!"- Kaminari said.

- "Izuku... why do you have to be so reckless? I just hope that you are ready to use the transformation."- Melissa thought. – "He's right though, have to defeat this guy first, and then I'll scold him for being so reckless."-

Belphemon recovers without problems and lets out a roar before charging at the chosen ones.

Izuku charges at Belphmon, with a fire punch ready to hit.

- "Pyro Punch! / Gift of Darkness!"- Both attacks collide and create an explosion.

Shinso vs Diaboromon.

Shinso jumps back to avoid another attack from Diaboromon, trying to attack with his swords after dodging the blow, however Diaboromon easily dodges Shinso's attempts.

Diaboromon sat back and forth, making it hard for Shinso to hit it thanks to Diaboromon's speed. – "He's too fast... hitting him will be hard."- Shinso said while trying to follow Diaboromon with his eyes.

- "What's going on? Is it too fast for you?"- Diaboromon taunts Shinso as he appears in front of him and punches him in the stomach. This action is repeated several times, with Diaboromon hitting Shinso several times while Shinso tried to defend himself, with unsuccessful results. – "Come on... I'm sure you can do more!"- Diaboromon said as he hit Shinso again, but this time he noticed that he couldn't jump again, something was holding him.

Apparently Shinso had him by the arm, at the moment of hitting him, Shinso managed to grab him by the arm, thus preventing him from jumping away again. – "You won't run away again."- Shinso said as he pointed his wrist gun at Diaboromon. – "Howling Laser!"- Firing a beam of light, Shinso lands a direct hit on Diaboromon's face, taking it by surprise. Taking advantage of Diaboromon being dizzy from the attack, Shinso takes his swords and starts attacking Diaboromon several times. – "Lobo Kendo! Light Victor: Alpha! Beta!"- Managing to land two slashes against Diaboromon, Shinso prepares the third one. – "Light Victor: Upsilon!"-

However, before he can land the third attack, Diaboromon stops it with his hand. – "Not bad... you managed to take me by surprise, but that won't be enough!"- Diaboromon points his chest cannon at Shinso. – "Catastrophe Cannon!"- Diaboromon fires three shots at point-blank range at Shisno, who flies off and crashes into the wall and then falls to the ground, heavily damaged by Diaboromon's attack.

Getting up with great difficulty Shinso spits up some blood. - "Damn... that attack is too strong, I could barely resist it... I'll need to level up."- Shinso charged Diaboromon again, but this time... – "Lobomon slide digivolve to… KendoGarurumon!"- Shinso transforms into KendoGarurumon, gaining a speed boost which allows him to appear at Diaboromon's side. – "Lupine Laser!"- Shooting a beam of light from its mouth, more powerful than the previous one, and directly impacting Diabormomon's torso.

Quickly recovering, Diaboromon extends his arms to attack Shinso. – "Cable Crusher."-

Using his speed, Shinso dodges the attack and charges against Diaboromon again. – "Howling Star!"- Using his Claymore wings, Shinso makes several cuts on Diaboromon's body.

Diaboromon growls at the attack, but quickly recovers and manages to grab Shinso with one of his arms. – "Tentacle Bug!"- Using his free hand, Diaboromon stabs Shinso with his claws.

Shinso lets out a grunt of pain, quickly biting Diaboromon's arm to free himself, however as he falls to the ground he is greeted by another "Catastrophe Cannon" from Diaboromon. -"Damn... it's too strong."- Shinso thought as he fell to the ground after receiving the attack, returning to his human form in the process. – "Damn... even with the beast spirit I can't stand up to this Digimon..."- In that, Shinso turns to see the crystal sphere, being more specific, Dukemon inside it. – "But he can."- Shinso struggled to stand up again.

- "Do you really want to keep fighting? Your power is not enough to defeat me!"- Diaboromon said.

- "It's time to try that... I hope I don't end up like Midoriya."- Shinso thought as he took his D-Scan. – "I'm not done yet!"- On Shino's left hand several data wheels appear. – "Execute!"- The D-Scan makes contact with the data. – "Fusion Evolution!"- Data surrounds Shinso.

Inside the Data.

Shinso lets out a roar as light begins to surround him.

Both spirits, the human and the beast appear at his sides.

They both begin to pass in front of him multiple times as each hands him a respective piece of armor.

After passing several times, both spirits merge into one and Shinso lets out one last roar before finishing his transformation.

The data disappeared and instead of Shinso there was... – "BeoWolfmon!"- BeoWolfmon is a bipedal Digimon, it has the body of Lobomon, with the armor of KendoGarurumon, It has a double-edged sword made of KendoGarurumon's wing blades called Trinitat and on the left it has the light missiles originally belonging to Lobomon but more powerful. – "It's time for round two!"-

The battle continues and this time I will not make the same mistake as last time and add some more fights apart from the main one.

We have the debut of Diaboromon, who is under the service of Belphemon.

We also have the appearance of BeoWolfmon, the second fusion spirit.

Belphemon is facing Izuku, Todoroki, Melissa and Kaminari and is winning, that and that he has not used the power of his crest.
