Diana, Sue and Nancy are now getting ready to go back home. They are about to have a winter break as a matter of fact. They won't go to school until the new year comes of course. They are about to have a good holiday break by the way. They are going to celebrate the holidays with their family. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will be heading back home from school.
"Good day at school for us, Di." said Sue.
"It sure is, girls." said Diana. "In fact, we did a good job on our assignments."
"We got a good grade on that." said Nancy.
"I know, girls." said Diana. "Let's wait for the bell."
"Okay, DI." said Sue.
Later, the bell has rung, and the students are leaving the classroom.
"Have a good holiday, students." said Mrs. Jean. "I will see you in a few weeks."
"We sure will, ma'am." said Diana. "See you later."
The students are now leaving the school building.
"Another day at school has come to an end." said Sue.
"That is true, girls." said Diana. "It is cold outside."
"I am aware of that, Di." said Nancy. "We are about to go home."
"How come?" Diana asked.
"Because our parents are waiting for us." said Sue.
"I get it now." said Diana. "I guess I will see you tomorrow."
"See you later, Di." said Sue.
Diana has come back home from school.
"I am home." said Diana.
"Welcome home, Di." said Mrs. Evans. "How was your day at school?"
"It was good, mom." said Diana.
"That is good." said Mrs. Evans. "Your siblings had a rehearsal for the play tonight."
"I didn't know that." said Diana.
"Now you remember." said Mrs. Evans. "Do you want to go the play tonight?"
"Sure, mom." said Diana. "My friends can come too."
"That sounds like a good idea, Di." said Mrs. Evans. "It is a Christmas play."
"I can't wait to see it." said Diana. "I won't go to school until the new year arrives."
Diana and her friends will be having a good winter break. See what happens in the next chapter of this long story.
