This time we have a new chapter of The Digital Hero.

Chapter 45.
Interlude.
It's been a few weeks since the chosen ones went to the digital world and helped defeat Belphemon, during those weeks the winter holidays passed, however the work of the hero course did not stop.
Although there were no classes, the hero work studies were still taking place.
Izuku and Melissa continue to work with Ryukyu, going on patrols and catching the occasional criminal from time to time. They also occasionally ran into Kaminari, who is still working with Fat Gum.
Todoroki works alongside his father; with this he has managed to increase the power of his ice.
Lastly Shinso is working with Edgeshot, usually patrolling, and helping with the capture of villains.
As for advances in fusion spirits, well, there are none, so far only Izuku and Shinso have managed to unlock their respective fusion spirits.
However, these weeks there has been no trace of the league of villains, normally this would be good news, but for those who know the truth it means that Shigaraki is planning something, especially after hearing the news of All for One's death. Meaning that something is happening with the league of villains.
Anyway, winter break is over, which means classes have resumed.

Aizawa is in a car with his partner and friend Hizashi Yamada, also known as Present Mic. Hizashi, is driving while Aizawa is in the passenger seat looking distraught and worried. – "Can't you go faster?"- Aizawa said.
- "Relax a little Eraser."- Hizashi said in an attempt to reassure his friend, but he too was visually worried.

After driving for a while longer, the heroes reach their destination, the Tartarus prison. Upon arrival they are greeted by Gran Torino and Detective Tsukauchi.

Tsukauchi, Gran Torino, Aizawa and Hizashi are crossing the corridors of the prison. – "We've been investigating Kurogiri ever since we captured him, we want to know more about him and his connection to the league of villains but... we didn't find anything, it's like he appeared out of nowhere."- Tsukauchi said. – "That's why we decided to do some DNA tests, you know to check some kind of connection or..."-
- "Forgive my rudeness, Detective, but I had to leave my class to come here... so please, get to the point."- Aizawa said interrupting Tsukauchi.
- "We ran the necessary DNA tests and found a match in the UA database, a correlation, the DNA belongs to a student who was long presumed dead, Oboro Shirakumo." - Tsukauchi said causing Aizawa and Hizashi's face to change into one of sadness and anger. – "However now he is part of the league of villains, we think that if we can get him to talk... maybe he can reveal things about the league, like his current whereabouts or why they have been so quiet these last few weeks."-
- "Oboro Shirakumo lost his life when we were just young interns..."- Aizawa said. – "Hizashi, he and I were planning to start an agency together. The incident happened right after that. He got stuck under a collapsing building... and died at a very young age."- In front of them is Kurogiri tied to a chair.
- "They used to call us the three fools from class A..."- Hizashi said.
- "Normally it would be something strange since his body was cremated... but the analyzes were very precise, this is Oboro Shirakumo, we believe that he may be under a tranze or mental control, that is why we believe that if someone very close to him talks to him, he would be able to free him from that control."- Tsukauchi said.
- "You're saying that all this depends on some kind of miracle thanks to the power of friendship... as if it were a Shonen..."- Aizawa said.
- "We have no other options, it's our only chance to get ahead of the league of villains for once."- Tsukauchi said. – "So please... Eraserhead, Present Mic, try to talk to him."-
After these words, Aizawa and Hizashi sit in front of Kurogiri, with bulletproof glass in between. Aizawa activates his quirk to prevent Kurogiri from escaping.
Kurogiri opens his eyes. – "Oh, so I have visitors, how interesting."-
- "The mist doesn't disappear even if Eraser points his quirk at him... that means his body is made of it." –
- "He was always an interesting boy... he would always go out of his way without hesitation... he would do it to help a cat get down from a tree..."- Aizawa said, tears threatening to well up in his eyes.
- "You are losing your mind."- Kurogiri said.
- "I was always the type of boy who doubted... but still you always helped me to move forward... you were one of my best friends... I wanted there to be heroes who push others forward, just like you!"- Aizawa said. – "Shirakumo! If by chance you're in there... let's all be heroes together!"-
- "Please, I want to save you the trouble, stop."- Kurogiri said. – "I know what you're trying to do, Shota Aizawa. You want to call him, you want to call your friend, you want to talk to Oboro Shirakumo."-
Kurogiri's words surprise everyone. - "You know... you know who you are…" -
- "I didn't say that... I just know what the reason for this is and I'm telling you it will never work, Oboro Shirakumo is dead."- Kurogiri said.
- "What the hell are you then?!"- Hizashi said.
- "I have seen his memories; I have seen everything he went through."- Kurogiri said. – "But I'm not him."-

- "Of course the results are accurate."- Kurogiri said, in that the purple mist begins to disappear, revealing the true face of the villain, a face that Aizawa and Hizashi recognized.

Beneath the purple mist there is tall boy of average stature with light blue, wavy hair that was swept back to flow upwards above his head, two shorter, ear-length tufts left hanging downwards to frame his face. – "After all, this body belongs to Oboro Shirakumo."- Kurogiri said with a smirk on his face.
- "How is this possible?! This is clearly Oboro Shirakumo, but he himself denies being Shirakumo, yet claims to have seen his memories. This makes less and less sense."- Gran Torino said.
Aizawa and Hizashi are speechless. - "What's up Shota, Hizashi, the mouse ate your tongue?"- Kurogiri said.
Aizawa slams the glass furiously. – "Who the hell are you?! How do you look like that?!"-
- "You will never know; it isn't something that simple humans can understand!"- Kurigiri said. – "I controlled this body! I live in its mind!"-
Unbeknownst to him, these words remind Aizawa of a certain meeting.

Mercurymon in Stain, Ranamon in Toga, Grumblemon in Dabi, and Arbormon in Twice."- Izuku said. – "It is as if they both share the same body, but the body is controlled by the mind of the human who can let out the spirit within his mind, thus becoming the warrior in question."-
- "Interesting... There must be some reason why Lucemon decided to do this with them and not do it the same way as with Tomura."- Bokomon said.
- "That we have no way of knowing... but if there is something we want to add."- Shinso said.
- "Apparently the digital spirit is capable of controlling the human body of its host, but for that the human must fall unconscious, that way nothing can prevent the digital spirit from controlling the body without the need to transform."- Izuku explained.

- "As if I'm going to tell you!"- Kurogiri said.

- "You asked for it!"- After this, from Shirakumo's body various data emerges taking the form of a beast-like Digimon with a black full body suit, it has four red eyes, the front claws are red and the back claws are black, finally four black wings. This Digimon is a Devidramon.
Devidramon breaks the glass that separates him from Aizawa, but before he could reach him. – "Mic…"- Aizawa said as Hizashi appeared at Devidramon's side.
- "YEAH!"- Using his Quirk, Hizashi knocks down Devidramon who is quickly caught by Aizawa's capture weapon.
- "Damn you! You set me up... all this time you knew about me."- Devidramon said.
- "At first I didn't know, but your words gave you away."- Aizawa said.
- "That means you know about us."-
- "Of course, you forget who my students are?"-
Devidramon widens his eyes in surprise. – "The chosen ones!"-
- "Now you're trapped, so speak up! What is Tomura Shigaraki planning? What is HE really planning?"- Aizawa said.
- "As if I was going to tell you! I would never betray Lord Tomura! My loyalty is with him and with Lord Lucemon! The only thing you need to know is that he will be back soon! Lord Lucemon's return is closer than you think!" - After this Devidramon releases one of his arms and with his claws proceeds to pierce his own chest, exploding in data a few seconds later.
- "What the hell was that?!"- Hizashi asked.
- "I don't have the slightest idea."- Aizawa said.
- "But you told him you knew about him."- Hizashi said.
- "I lied. I thought that way I would get more information."- Aizawa said. – "I'm sorry Hizashi... but I can't tell you anything."-
Aizawa approaches Shirakumo's limp body. – "What are you doing?"- Hizashi asked.
- "Making sure our friend can finally rest in peace."- Aziawa said as he closed Shirakumo's eyes with his right hand.

- "Apparently we couldn't get any information from him, sorry."- Aizawa said.
- "You don't have to apologize, maybe we didn't get important information, but we did get some information."- Tsukauchi said.
- "First there is that creature, most likely the same type as the ones that attacked the USJ and Hosu."- Gran Torino said. – "Probably an unknown member of the league who can create those creatures."-
- "The second thing is a name, Lucemon, although I've never heard of it before."- Tsukauchi said.
- "Perhaps All for One's real name."- Hizashi said.
- "It could be, but All for One is dead, it is impossible for him to come back, as that creature said."- Tsukauchi said.

Suddenly the television in the common room turns on and starts transmitting static.

Televisions across the country were going through the same event.
But it wasn't just televisions, mobile phones, screens in cities, any technological device that could transmit image and audio went through the same thing. Surprising civilians, villains, vigilantes, and heroes alike.
After several seconds the static dies and in its place Tomura Shigaraki appears. – "Hello, my name is Tomura Shigaraki, and I am a villain. First of all do not try to trace the video signal, the signal is bouncing through all the communication relays, making it untraceable. Now you may wonder... What is a villain doing on screens around the country? Simple, I'm here to make an announcement. Within a month my army will attack the country in these coordinates."- Shigaraki says as some coordinates appear on the screen.
These words surprise everyone and frighten many.
- "And if you think that with a small handful of heroes you will be able to stop me... then you will only know death, I suppose you already know what happened in the city of Deika, well let me tell you that this is only a fragment of all the power of my army, my army is composed of more than one hundred thousand soldiers. So you better get ready. Bring all your heroes, students or anyone who wants to help, you will need it."- Shigaraki says as an image of Deika's remains appears on the screen.
- "Now you may wonder... why did I warn you, why do I give you the opportunity to prepare?"- Shigaraki laughs a little. – "I want to see your futile attempts to stop me! But do not worry, I will not be part of the attack, at least initially. Currently I am in a process to obtain a power, greater than you can imagine. The war arc begins.
Before the good stuff we have a rather quiet chapter but no less important.
We have the revelation of what actually is Kurogiri, as in the canon Kurogiri is a Nomu made with Shirakumo's body, here it is Shirakumo's body controlled by a Digimon, Lucemon's first experiment to transfer his mind to another body.
Now with that out of the question we have the prelude before the war.
The war is about to begin, Shigaraki declares war on all the heroes, but this time he has a more powerful army than in the canon.
What did you think of the change that now it is Shigaraki who directly tells the heroes that he is preparing for a war? Since this time they couldn't get information through Kurogiri...
