Diana, Sue and Nancy are having a good day at the zoo. They have been taking care of some animals as a matter of fact. They wanted to help the zookeeper of course. They are about to go home by the way. They better keep an eye snowstorm as it may come any minute. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will be heading home before the snowstorm comes.

"Good day at the zoo, Di." said Sue.

"It sure is, girls." said Diana. "In fact, we have been taken care of the animals."

"It was nice that the zookeeper wanted us to keep the animals warm." said Nancy.

"Yes, it was, girls." said Diana. "Time to go home now."

"Okay, Di." said Sue.

Diana and her friends are leaving the zoo and heading back home.

"We better walk faster, Di." said Nancy.

"How come, girls?" Diana asked.

"Because a snowstorm is about to come." said Nancy.

"Let's walk faster." said Diana.

"Sounds like a good idea, Di." said Sue.

Diana and her friends went to go walk faster until they made it in time.

"We are home, girls." said Diana. "Let's go inside."

Diana and her friends went inside.

"We are back, mom." said Diana.

"How was your day at the zoo with your friends, Di?" Mrs. Evans asked.

"It was good, mom." said Diana.

"That is good." said Mrs. Evans.

"We made it home just in time." said Diana.

"I know, Di." said Mrs. Evans. "The snowstorm is bad."

"I'm glad that we didn't get stuck in the snowstorm." said Sue.

"Me too, girls." said Diana.

"I'll be right back, girls." said Mrs. Evans. "I am about to give you something to drink."

Mrs. Evans went to the kitchen.

"I wonder what your mom is making." said Nancy.

"You'll see, girls." said Diana.

Mrs. Evans came back from the kitchen as she brings hot chocolate for Diana and her friends.

"I made you some hot chocolate, girls." said Mrs. Evans. "I hope you'll like it."

Diana and her friends are now drinking some hot chocolate. See what happens in the next chapter of this long story.
