Chapter 47.
The first defeat.
Garaki is watching the progress of the transfer. 95%
- "Almost there... the Digimon from the hospital will keep the heroes busy long enough for the transfer to finish."- He thought.
In that the wall behind him breaks and Mirko comes out of it, who destroyed the wall with a kick. – "Finally! I found you!"- Mirko said.
Dr. Garaki gets scared when he sees the hero. – "Oh no…"-
- "It's time to end this!"- Mirko said as she attacks Garaki with a kick.
Rumi Usagiyama. Aka Mirko.
Quirk: Rabbit.
Rumi's Quirk gives her the attributes and abilities of a rabbit. This grants her incredible leg strength, allowing her to jump and kick with extreme force; she can even destroy large chunks of the ground by thumping her foot. She also has excellent hearing thanks to her rabbit-like ears and possesses animal instincts that alert her to nearby danger.
Before the kick hits Garaki, a Digimon blocks the attack, hitting Mirko in the stomach to knock her back.

In that, two other Digimon appear, attacking Mirko and causing her to crash into the wall.
Coming out of the wall, Mirko spits up some blood. – "Not bad... they're stronger than the creature I faced in Hosu... this makes it more exciting!"- Mirko says at the moment of jumping against the Digimon.

Doing a cartwheel in the air with her legs outstretched, Mirko punches all three Digimon in the face, managing to knock all three of them down. - "Lunar Ring!"-
The three Digimon quickly get up and charge at Mirko, however she manages to dodge the attacks. – "Lunar Arc!"- Raising her leg, Mirko hits one of the Digimon in the jaw, sending it crashing into the ceiling and destroying it in the process. – "One less, two left!"-

Dodging another attack Mirko stands on top of one of the Digimon. - "Lunar Fall!"- Swinging her leg down, she manages to slam the Digimon into the wall, crushing its skull in the process and exploding it into data. – "Only one left!"- Mirko said as she mounts onto her opponent's head and grips them tightly with her legs. – "Let's get this over with! Lunar Scissors!"- Mirko twists her body and pulls with all of her superhuman leg strength to rip her opponent's head cleanly off and then smashing it into the ground.

The Digimon falls to the ground before exploding into data.
- "There is only one more thing left!"- Mirko says at the moment in which with a kick she destroys the wall that separates the room where she was, with the room where Tomura is.
- "No!"- Garaki said.
- "I'm sorry, but this ends here! Lunar Fall"- Mirko says at the moment of destroying the tube where Tomura was... without noticing that the villain opened his eyes before this happened.
- "No!"- Garaki screams desperately, however something catches his attention, when he sees the screen he sees something that makes him smile.
100% Transfer completed without errors.
Mirko is confused, she destroyed the tank, but something has her by the leg, the bad thing is that she cannot see what is happening, since the destruction of the tube raised dust and debris blocking her view. – "Not bad... hero. For a moment I got worried... But in the end you were late."- When the dust disappears the one holding Mirko by her leg is Tomura, but he looks different, his eyes are no longer red, now they are green, meaning that now the one who controls the body is not Tomura, but Lucemon, although it is not something that Mirko knows. – "Still... you have my respect for making me worry."- Lucemonn says as he grabs Mirko's leg with both hands. – "Disappear!"- Throwing her with all his might, making her go through several walls where the hero came from.
(AN: From now on I will refer to the body of Shigaraki controlled by Lucemon as Lucemon, even though, for now, it is still Shigaraki's body.)
Lucemon removes all the devices and tubes connected to Tomura's body and turns to see Garaki. – "Dr. Garaki, I guess everything is up and running."-
Garaki approaches Lucemon. – "That's right, Lord Lucemon, the war has already begun, we are just waiting for your appearance in it."-
- "Good... now bring him to me."- Lucemon said.
- "Yes, my lord."- Garaki said as he gave Lucemon some clothes. – "By the way Lord Lucemon, these clothes are for you, you will be more comfortable if you don't fight only in underwear."-
Lucemon takes the clothes. – "You humans have very strange traditions... I'll never get used to them."- Lucemon said as he started to put on the clothes and Garaki went to get something.
Lucemon now wears black pants, a pair of red boots, and a black leather jacket with gold buttons. The jacket is open, revealing Lucemon's bare torso.
At that moment Garaki returns, with a bundle in his hands, throwing it to the ground, the bundle turns out to be Kai Chisaki, in a very emaciated state due to the lack of food and water. – "So this is the human named Overhaul... he looks pathetic."- Lucemon says as he grabs Chisaki by the face.
(AN: If you're wondering why Lucemon isn't disintegrating anyone, that's because if you remember from Tomura's flashback, Lucemon taught him how to control his quirk, being able to choose whether to disintegrate or not.)
- "Kill… me…"- Chisaki said.
- "Don't worry, I will, only first I'll take something from you... that quirk you have is very strong, but in the hands of someone like you... it's being wasted."- Lucemon said as he took Chisaki's Quirk, Overhaul, with the All for One. After taking what he needed, Lucemon activated Decay and started disintegrating Chisaki.
At that moment, Mirko returns, but this time she is accompanied by the rest of the heroes that came with her. – "Give up now! You have the numerical disadvantage!"-
- "Lord Lucemon, you'd better call some Digimon to help you..."- Garaki said but was interrupted by Lucemon.
- "It won't be necessary... I want to test my power with a body that can withstand it!" - Lucemon said as he approached the heroes at a slow pace. – "Besides... it's more fun this way."-
- "Let's go!"- The heroes charge at Mirko's command.
- "Dr. Garaki, you'd better get out of here, you don't want to get caught in the middle of the battle!"- Lucemon said as he got on all fours with his hands on the ground. – "Let's see what they are capable of, heroes!"- Activating the Overhaul quirk, Lucemon begins to destroy the entire hospital, keeping Garaki safe, while launching the heroes through the skies.
Lucemon (Shigaraki's body).
Quirk: Overhaul.
Lucemon's Quirk grants him the ability to disassemble anything he touches, as well as reassemble it in any configuration he desires, effectively giving him full control over matter.
Quirk stolen from Kai Chisaki.
Jaku's hospital is completely destroyed, falling after what Lucemon did, where concrete and metal pillars emerge from where the hospital was.
The six heroes go flying through the air. – "That quirk is Kai Chisaki's!"- X-Less said.
- "That's why they kidnapped the Yakuza... to take his quirk!"- Kamui said.
- "No matter! We have to..."- Yoroi Musha tried to say, but before he could finish his sentence he was hit in the chest by Lucemon, who dealt a blow so strong that it destroyed the hero's heart, killing him in the process and despite the great armor that the hero was wearing.
- "Musha!"- Tiger said.
- "D*mn it! Lacquered Chain Prison!"- Kamui quickly shoots the wood from one of his arms, but instead of using it against Lucemon, he uses it to trap the other heroes, avoiding a fatal fall.
- "Interesting... but wood can break!"- Lucemon said at the moment of appearing next to Kamui Wood and with a blow he will destroy the hero's left arm, which is the arm with which he used his technique.
- "ARGH!" - The hero screams in pain.
The rest of the heroes fall to the ground, but thanks to Kamui Woods the fall does not hurt them, the only one who falls resoundingly is Kamui Woods himself, luckily he is still alive.
X-Less approaches Yoroi's body, touching his neck to feel his pulse, unfortunately there is none. – "Damn it! He is dead!"- He said shocking the rest of the heroes.
- "Wow... what a shame, I thought they would send someone stronger... but actually they sent weaklings."- Lucemon said making fun of the hero's death.
- "Shut up son of a b*tch!"- X-Less said as he shot a red beam from his right eye.
X-Less.
Quirk: Laser.
This Quirk allows X-Less to fire energy beams from his right eye.
Lucemon stands motionless in the air, only raising his right arm with his hand opened. Suddenly, X-Less's attack seems to hit an invisible wall.
Lucemon (Shigaraki's body).
Quirk: Forcefield.
This quirk allows Lucemon to create force fields. However, only one can be created at a time and the force field can only block from one direction.
The strength of the force field depends on the strength of the user.
Quirk stolen from an unknown person.
Taking advantage of the fact that Lucemon is distracted, Mirko and Tiger jump, using the pillars, placing themselves on Lucemon's left flank, ready to attack him. However Lucemon manages to see them and raising his right arm, with his open hand, shoots a gust of wind that sends the two heroes flying.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Air Cannon.
Air Cannon allows Lucemon to release an air shockwave from the arms.

- "He's strong…"- Kamui Woods said. – "Crust, X-Less, come on!"- The three heroes charge at Lucemon, who again uses Air Cannon to attack, however Crust gets in front of her and uses her Quirk to block the attack.
Crust.
Quirk: Shield.
Crust's Quirk allows him to grow stone-like hexagon-shaped shields from his body. He uses these shields to protect himself and others. He can expand these shields to a large size and in different directions. The edges of the shields can also cut through obstacles as an offensive attack, and pieces of it can be detached and thrown for the same purpose.
X-Less takes advantage of this to use a pillar to position himself to Lucemon's right and attack with his laser beam, this time the attack manages to hit Lucemon, making him fall to the ground.
Mirko and Tiger take advantage of this to charge Lucemon again, however Lucemon shoots lightning at them.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Stun Gun.
Lucemon can generate electricity from his hands, however the electricity is only capable of paralyzing the target.

In that Kamui Woods gets in the way and uses his right arm, the only one he has left, to create wood which blocks Lucemon's attack, luckily being wood it is not conductive, and the attack does not affect Kamui Woods.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Mirko and Tiger manage to hit Lucemon with their attacks. – "Lunar Fall! / Neko Punch!"- Combining attacks they manage to make Lucemon crash into one of the pillars. – "X-Less!"- Mirko indicates.
- "On it! Ultimate move: Cyclops Laser!"- Firing a laser, more powerful than the previous ones, it manages to hit Lucemon, destroying the pillar in the process.
The heroes stand for a few seconds, then sigh in relief when Lucemon doesn't get up. – "We did it..."- Tiger said.
- "Hardly..."- Kamui Woods said.
- "Although we lost a hero in the process."- Crust said referring to Yoroi Musha.
- "At least he didn't die in vain..."- X-Less said.
- "Now we have to go help the rest of the heroes!"- Mirko said, however she notices that the ground under X-Less is cracking a bit, heeding her instincts, Mirko pushes X-Less with her right arm. – "Watch Out!"-
Beneath X-Less, Lucemon emerges, what appears to be a sword in hand. To X-Less's luck, Mirko managed to push him away before Lucemon could hurt him, however the hero didn't have the same fate as her right arm was severed from her body.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Iron generation.
This Quirk allows the user to use the iron in their blood to create metal objects. Prolonged use of this quirk can cause anemia to the user due to the lack of iron in the body.
Quirk stolen from an unknown person.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Supplements.
Supplements gives the user the ability to supply any element that their body needs, without affecting their health.
Using Supplements in conjunction with Iron Generation allows the user to not feel the side effects of a lack of iron in the blood.
- "Mirko!"- X-Less said.
- "It doesn't matter!"- Mirko said as she tears off a piece of her clothing to use as a tourniquet to prevent further bleeding from her wound. – "First let's defeat this guy!"-
- "You have guts! I respect you for that!"- Lucemon said as he placed his hand on the ground. – "But this ends here!"- Lucemon places his hand on the ground, but this time he doesn't activate Overhaul, this time he activates Decay.
The ground begins to disintegrate, the heroes jump to avoid being hit by the Quirk, however, Crust jumps late and the effect of the Quirk reaches his right leg, starting to slowly disintegrate. Acting quickly, the hero uses his shields to amputate his leg to prevent further disintegration.
- "What a good idea..."- Lucemon said appearing next to the hero. – "Unfortunately it won't do you any good!"- Lucemon said at the time of activating Overhaul and running his hand over the hero's face. A few seconds later the entire upper part of the hero explodes, leaving a large trail of blood around it.
- "D*mn it, now Crust..."- Kamui said.
- "You motherf*cker!"- Mirko says as she attacks Lucemon with a kick.
Lucemon quickly blocks the attack with his arm, quickly using Air Cannon to send Mirko flying. – "Come on heroes... don't let me down now."- Lucemon said. The heroes stand still before the villain. – "Very well... if you don't come, I'll come to you!"- Lucemon said before charging the heroes.
- "Here it comes!"- X-Less said as the heroes prepare for combat.
Lucemon appears between them, kicking X-Less in the face, making him instead of shooting at Lucemon, he shoots into the sky. Lucemon tries to hit Tiger, but Tiger, thanks to his Quirk, manages to dodge the attack and hit Lucemon in the face, making him take a few steps back.
Yawara Chatora. Aka Tiger.
Quirk: Pliabody.
Yawara's Quirk allows him to stretch, flatten, and bend his body in ways that would normally be impossible.
Quickly recovering from the blow, Lucemon dodges several branches which Kamui uses to attack him. However, Mirko appears on top of him and manages to hit him with one of her kicks. Lucemon falls to the ground, but quickly flips on the ground to recover, placing both hands on the ground, he activates Overhaul.
Again the heroes are thrown into the air thanks to the ground changing again, suddenly the four feel that something hits them in the stomach, to their surprise Lucemon appears behind them, being the one who hits them.
– "What the hell?! I didn't see him move!"- Mirko thought.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Overclock.
Overclock allows the user to accelerate to extreme speeds, to the point that to the user, it looks like nothing is moving.
Quirk stolen from the former pro hero O'clock.
- "I got this!"- X-Less said as he fired a laser from his eye.
The laser is about to hit Lucemon, but Lucemon just smiles. – "Let's try this combination..."- Lucemon extends his right hand and catches X-Less's laser with it. After this, from the hand of Lucemon, this same laser is fired, only that when it is fired it multiplies, creating multiple lasers instead of one.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Reflect.
Reflect allows the user to copy any attack they are hit with and recreate the same attack themselves at the same strength.
Quirk stolen from an unknown person.
Quirk: Scatter.
Scatter allows the user to split up and multiply projectiles before firing them, increasing the strength and radius of long-range attacks.

- "Using Reflect and Scatter, I can return the attack multiple times at the same time."- Lucemon thought.
The lasers hit the heroes and the ground, destroying everything in its path. The heroes fall back to the ground, getting up with difficulty preparing for the moment when Lucemon attacks again.
Lucemon suddenly appears between the four heroes, grabbing X-Less by the head and using Decay on him, completely disintegrating him. – "Ranged attackers are always the most annoying! It would be better to get rid of that."-
- "D*mn you…"- Kamui said.
- "It is the third one that he murders. And we have hardly been able to harm him."- Tiger said.
- "Bastard!"- Mirko said.
- "Mirko! Don't act rashly!"- Kamui said. – "We have to..."-
Kamui didn't finish speaking as he was pierced by Lucemon's hair, which was sharp.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Slice.
Slice allows the user to move, harden, and sharpen their own hair. They are able to use their hair as blades, as well as fire off individual strands of it like needles.

After attacking Kamui, Lucemon uses his hair to attack the rest of the heroes, who dodge the attacks. Meanwhile Lucemon approaches Kamui, who is quite injured. Quickly creating a metal sword, Lucemon pierces through the hero's heart. – "Only two left... I'll get this over with quickly, I'm late enough."- Lucemon said as he makes his hair return to normal, charging at the two remaining heroes.
Mirko and Tiger attack Lucemon, but Lucemon easily dodges all the attacks they throw at him.
- "Damn it! Die at once!"- Mirko screams in despair. In that, Lucemon hits her in the stomach, and then hits her in the face to send her flying and crashing against one of the pillars.
- "Don't worry, I'm almost done here."- Lucemon said while dodging Tiger's attacks. Stopping a punch from Tiger with his hand, Lucemon rises into the air, taking Tiger with him.
However, Tiger doesn't wait to see what happens, and uses his Quirk to catch Lucemon, preventing him from moving. – "Mirko!"- Tiger said.
Mirko attacks Lucemon with a kick, taking advantage of the fact that he was trapped by Tiger. However, his kick hits a force field, courtesy of Lucemon's Forcefield Quirk. Taking advantage of this, Lucemon gets out of Tiger's grip and grabs him by the leg and then slams him against Mirko. Both heroes fall to the ground, again, while Lucemon stays in the air. – "I'm getting bored, it's time to end this."- Lucemon says as he suddenly appears behind Tiger and pierces his chest with a sword made from the iron in his blood. After this, Tiger falls to the ground dead. – "Only you remain."- Lucemon said while looking at Mirko.
- "I will be enough to defeat you, bastard!"- Mirko said as she attacks Lucemon with a kick.
Lucemon covers himself from the attack with his left arm, however Mirko's attack is strong enough that Lucemon feels his arm break. – "It seems that negative feelings also make humans stronger..."- Lucemon said as she attacked Mirko with a right punch, however the hero dodged the attack, managing to land another kick to Lucemon's stomach, making him spit blood.
The impact was so strong that it made Lucemon fly and collide with one of the pillars created by the Overhaul quirk. – "This is for the ones you killed!"- Mirko says at the moment of attacking again with a kick, the kick is so strong that it makes the pillar fall completely, crushing both of them and raising a lot of dust.
When the dust clears you can see a quite injured Mirko, but alive. – "How about that... bastard…"- Mirko said as he struggled to stay on her feet.
- "It wasn't bad at all."- A voice behind Mirko said, suddenly a sword pierces Mirko from behind. To the hero's surprise, Lucemon is behind her. – "You are strong, I give you that... but that won't be enough to defeat me."-
Mirko turns to see Lucemon and to her surprise, Lucemon seems to be healed from his injuries. – "How…"-
- "It's always good to have a regeneration ability."- Lucemon said.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Super Regeneration.
Super Regeneration has the ability to regenerate any sort of injuries on the user's body, such as missing limbs, at incredible speeds.
Quirk stolen from an unknown person.
- "Wh... what the hell are you?"- Mirko said.
- "I am the one who will destroy this world... I am Lucemon."- After these words, Lucemon takes the sword out of Mirko's chest, the hero falls to the ground. Lucemon sighs to relax after the match. – "Garaki... are you still alive?"-
- "Yes Lord Lucemon."- Garaki said appearing behind Lucemon.
- "Good, I've come too far to lose my most loyal follower."- Lucemon said. – "I have already checked the abilities of my new body; it will do while I recover my power. That reminds me... do you know who has my power?"- Lucemon asked.
- "Yes, he is a boy from the UA, his name is Togata Mirio, Hero name: Lemillion."- Garaki said as he hands a picture of Mirio, in his hero outfit, to Lucemon. – "This is the boy, he is located in the same location as the chosen ones of fire, light and ice."-
- "Good work."- Lucemon said while taking Mirio's picture. – "Now that I have a body capable of withstanding my power, I am once again capable of accurately locating the presences of the warriors and their chosen ones."- Lucemon starts to fly. – "The time has come... for my return!"- After this, Lucemon flies out in the direction of the front line.
Garaki stares at the direction where Lucemon left before sighing in relief. Deactivating his disguise, Garaki reverts to Akemi Suedou. – "So the time has come... I wonder how this will turn out."- Suedou said as he picked up a briefcase from the rubble, then walked away from the ruins of the hospital where he would meet Rie Kishibe, the woman in the passenger's seat of a pink car.
- "Why did you take so long?"- Rie said.
- "I had to make sure things went well."- Suedou said while getting into the driver's seat.
- "Do you have what we needed?"- Rie asked.
- "Of course! With the information gathered from my time working with Lucemon, I have managed to gather the information we needed! Of course, it all depends on who wins this conflict."- Suedou said as he hands Kishibe the briefcase.
Rie opens the briefcase, seeing its contents, the woman smiles. – "Perfect. Now please take us to a safe place, okay?"-
- "Let's go then."- Suedou said as he started the car and drove away from the place.

Things have gotten complicated.
Lucemon has managed to transfer his consciousness to Tomura's body, now his next step will be to try to recover his power, the One for All.
I told you that no one will be safe in this war. Lucemon just took down to six heroes, four of which were in the top 10.
Now Lucemon heads to the battlefield, will the chosen ones be ready for him? and even more important, will they manage to prevent him from regaining his power?
Well, that will be answered in the future.
