Chapter 56.
Heroes' return.
The environment was quiet, the noise of the war is heard in the distance, however Lucemon stands up, sighs, and looks at the body lying in front of him. Izuku Midoriya, the chosen by AncientGreymon and the last of the chosen ones, lies dead before his feet, but not without a fight. – "I must admit... that was an incredible fight."- He said to Izuku, although he didn't listen (for obvious reasons), Lucemon looks around, the entire field is destroyed, some parts burning, others frozen and others flooded by the lake.
Releasing one last breath, Lucemon takes flight back to the front line, what Lucemon didn't realize was the new presence that landed at the place just as he left.

Front Line.
Heroes vs Machinedramon.
Machinedramon lets out a roar as he defends himself, with his only remaining arm, from the five heroes' combined attacks.
- "Lunar Arc!"- Mirko attacks Machinedramon with a kick, but he covers himself with his only remaining arm.- "Damn piece of tin!"- Machinedramon manages to hit Mirko and sends her flying, crashing several meters away.
Ryukyu quickly attacks Machinedramon with her claws who tries to defend himself as best he can, Endeavor quickly starts shooting fire from his left arm to support Ryukyu.
Meanwhile Hawks and Fat Gum are one meter away from Machinedramon. – "Are you alright Fat Gum?"- Hawks asked.
- "Yes... I've just run out of fat..."- a thin Fat Gum said.
- "I understand you; I'm running out of feathers... this war is already taking too long."- Hawks said.
- "Crust, Kamui Wood and Yoroi Musha, three in the top ten."- Fat Gum said. – "There will be several changes after all this..."-
In that Ryukyu falls to the ground and returns to her human form due to exhaustion.
For his part, Endeavor continues to attack Machinedramon with various fire attacks, however Machinedramon continues to hold on and counterattacks Endeavor with a blow that knocks him down, but even so Endeavor does not give up. – "I'm not beaten yet!"- Endeavor launches at Machinedramon again but he again blocks the attack with his arm and knocks Endeavor down again.
- "DiE hUmaN!"- Machinedramon attacks Endeavor, who is still in a daze, however something saves Endeavor before he is hit.
- "You're acting very impulsively, Endeavor."- The person who saved Endeavor said, that's Best Jeanist, who used his quirk to get Endeavor out of danger. – "Get some air and relax, this is not the time to act impulsively, we have to make sure we don't lose any other heroes."-
- "Let's go over there and finish off that piece of tin!"- Mirko, who came along with Best Jeanist, said.
- "We have to make sure that the next blow he receives is the final one... Mirko, help me distract him, Endevor, attack him with everything you have."- Best Jeanist said.
- "All right...let's get this over with."- Endeavor said as he stands up and reignites his flames.
Machinedramon, seeing this, lets out a roar and charges at the three.
- "Let's go!"- Endeavor says and Mirko quickly charges at Machinedramon, he tries to attack the hero, but, thanks to Best Jeanist, Mirko avoids Machinedramon's attack and manages to kick him in the face, cracking it more.
- "Endeavor!"- Best Jeanist said and suddenly Endeavor appears in front of Machinedramon.
- "It's time to end this! Prominence Burn!"- Endeavor quickly throws a massive amount of fire at Machinedramon, it creates a gigantic explosion of fire, thanks to Best Jeanist, Mirko is pulled away from the explosion.
Endeavor lands next to Best Jeanist and Mirko, quite tired. – "We did it?"- Best Jeanist asked.
- "I don't know…"- Endeavor said. – "This thing is very strong... we have to be alert."- To the surprise of the three, when the smoke begins to dissolve Machinedramon can be seen still standing. – "Damn it... we haven't beaten him yet…"-
However, to everyone's surprise, when the smoke completely dissolves, someone who got between Endeavor and Machinedramon's attack can be seen. – "Not bad... you managed to get me a little dirty."- A voice said, this voice belongs to Lucemon, seeing the evil Digimon everyone is surprised and worried.
- "Lucemon…" - Endeavor said.
- "What's going on? Are you surprised that I'm back?"- Lucemon said.
- "If you are here... that means..."- Endeavor said.
- "That's right... I won. The chosen ones are dead!"- Lucemon said.
- "Chosen Ones? What the f*ck is he talking about?! And who the hell is he?!"- Mirko asks Endeavor.
However, Endeavor was so shocked by the news that he did not respond, thus Best Jeanist responded instead. - "It's a long explanation, but what you should know is that he is the mastermind behind everything, his name is Lucemon."-
- "Lucemon... never heard that name before."- Mirko said.
- "We'll explain it to you later, the important thing now is to make sure we win this war."- Best Jeanist said.
- "You lie… they are not dead!"- Endeavor said to Lucemon.
- "Really? So why am I here?"- Lucemon said. – "The only ones who could defeat me have died, now all you can do is ask for my mercy." –
- "Shut up! We never give up!"- Endeavor said.
- "As you wish…"- Lucemon said and in that he turns around to see Machinedramon. – "Machinedramon, retreat and receive repairs, I'll take care of the rest."-
- "Lord Lucemon, I can still fight!"- Machinedramon said.
- "I know, but I need you for what will come next; besides, I've come too far to lose my best subordinate."- Lucemon said.
- "If that is your wish... very well, I will retire for now."- Machinedramon said, but before he could leave.
- "Take everyone with you."- Lucemon said.
- "Lord Lucemon... are you sure?" – Machinedramon asked.
- "With the chosen ones dead there is no one who can interfere with my plans; besides, I will need all the remaining troops for what will come next."- Lucemon said.
- "Very well… your wish is my command!"- Machinedramon said before letting out a powerful roar that was heard throughout the battlefield.
Upon hearing this, all the Digimon stopped fighting, which surprised the heroes, and to the surprise of the heroes, the Digimon begin to withdraw from the battlefield using digital portals.
Machinedramon also does the same, a data portal appears behind him. – "Good luck Lord Lucemon, we will be waiting for your call."- Machinedramon said before entering the portal.
- "You withdraw your troops... what do you mean by that?"- Endeavor said.
- "It means, human, that I already won. There is no one who can meddle in my plans anymore! You are nothing compared to my power! So I'll tell you one more time... give up and start begging for my mercy and maybe I'll let you live as my slaves."- Lucemon said.
- "Never!"- Endeavor said. – "Precisely in the darkest hours is when you most feel that there is someone by your side. Listen to this and don't forget it. A true hero will never give up, no matter how much they hit us, no matter how much they hurt us... we will never give up!"- After these words all the heroes that were present stand next to Endeavor, facing Lucemon.
At that, Lucemon just claps at what Endeavor said, obviously mocking. - "Very well... if that's what you want..."- Lucemon stops clapping and just smiles evilly.

The place is silent, six lifeless bodies are scattered in the place, however, something disturbs the silence of the place, a figure lands on the place.
That something turns out to be a Digimon, said Digimon has a female humanoid form, with eight wings of white feathers, wears a stylized white suit fitted with black ribbons and a single leg, as well as a pink band around the body and falling to the sides, as a halo or shawl and has a sacred ring, in addition, he wears high-heeled boots of different shapes: the right one is short and decorated with feathers, and the left one is part of the suit and has two small clamps; finally, he wears a characteristic helmet of metal with a cross-shaped rivet that hides the upper part of her face, although more polished and with two small white wings on the sides, the helmet lets her blonde hair fall down her back.
This Digimon is Angewomon.
However, Angewomon is not alone, the Digimon is carrying Eri with her, although the girl looked different from normal, her face was serious, and her eyes shine white. – "We arrived."- Angewomon said.
"Eri" comes down from Angewomon's arms. - "Thank you Angewomon." – "Eri" looks around and notices the six bodies. – "So what I felt was true, they were defeated."-
- "What are you going to do, Homeostasis?" - Angewomon asked, remembering how they got to this point.

Gatomon is resting in the UA teachers' residence while Eri is watching the television, however Eri suddenly stands up, surprising Gatomon. – "Eri? What's going on? You need something?"- Gatomon asked.
However, when Eri turns to see Gatomon, she is surprised to see her face, her expression was serious, and her eyes shine white. – "Gatomon… I'll need your help."- "Eri" said.
- "Homeostasis…"- Gatomon said. – "What do you need?"-
- "I need you to take me to the battlefield."- Homeostasis said. – "If what I felt is true... then we lost."-
- "What happened?"- Gatomon asked.
- "The chosen ones... have died at the hands of Lucemon."- Homeostasis said.
- "What?! It can't be..."- Gatomon said.
- "That's why I need to go, I have to do something."- Homeostasis said while going outside.
- "And how can I help?"- Gatomon asked.
- "That's very simple."- Homeostasis said while taking Eri's Digivice, at that moment the Digivice starts glowing and Gatomon digivolves to Angewomon. – "I need you to take me where I tell you."-
Angewomon looks at herself for a moment then looks at Homeostasis. - "Where do you want to go?"-

- "I shouldn't interfere in things like this, but I can't help it."- Homeostasis said. – "Angewomon, gather the bodies please."-
Angewomon quickly gathers the six bodies, placing them side by side. – "What are you planning to do?"-
- "I will use this girl's quirk to bring them back to life."- Homeostasis said. – "This girl can rewind someone to before they were born, so she can also rewind a dead person to a point before their death, or at least that's my theory, I hope it works..."- In that the horn of Eri's body begins to emanate energy and Homeostasis begins to spread the energy towards the six bodies.
Little by little the wounds on the bodies begin to disappear and after several seconds the six bodies are intact, as if they had never fought against Lucemon.
- "Did it work?"- Angewomon asked.
- "I don't know, for now I just rewound their bodies, we have to wait and see if it works."- Homesotasis said.
After several seconds, Izuku's eyes snap open and he takes a deep breath as he goes from lying down to sitting up.
Izuku quickly touches his chest and notes that he is completely healed, then looks at his hands and finally turns to see Homeostasis. – "Eri-chan… what's going on?"-
- "I understand that you are confused, chosen of fire, let me explain, my name is Homeostasis, and I used this human's Quirk to bring you back to life."- Homeostasis said.
- "Homeostasis… You're the one who helped me when I faced Chisaki!"- Izuku said.
- "That's right, and now I've come to do the same."- Homeostasis said.
- "Wait! What about the others?!"- Izuku quickly turns to see and can see the rest of the chosen ones next to him, still without waking up.
- "Don't worry, they'll be fine, if you managed to come back to life they would have done it too, they just haven't woken up yet."- Homeostasis said.
- "I see… Thank you."- Izuku said. – "Still... what can we do?"-
- "What do you mean?"- Homeostasis said.
- "We lost! He beat us! Even if we try to fight him again... the result will be the same, we already faced him with the maximum of our powers... and even so he defeated us... there is nothing we can do anymore."- Izuku said.
- "You're wrong."- Homeostasis said. – "There is still something you can do."-
- "What do you mean?"- Izuku asked.
- "If you'll excuse me, I'd rather wait for the others to wake up, so I won't have to explain things twice."- Homeostasis said.
Izuku nods and at that moment Melissa wakes up. – "Melissa-san!"- Without thinking twice Izuku hugs Melissa, who, despite being surprised at first, hugs him back.
Little by little each one woke up until finally the six chosen ones returned to life and Izuku quickly brought them up to date. – "Alright Homeostasis, you said something about there being a chance to beat Lucemon, what were you talking about?"- Izuku asked.
- "You have reached the maximum power that you can reach individually."- Homeostasis said. – "But... they can still access more power if they combine their powers, and no, I don't mean doing combo attacks."-
- "So what are you talking about?"- Shinso asked.
- "I mean to combine the digital spirits."- Homeostasis said.
- "Is that possible?"- Shoto asked.
- "Yes, the level above the Fusion Spirits, the Transcendent Spirits." – Homeostasis said. - "KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon!"-
- "KaiserGreymon…"- Izuku said.
- "MagnaGarurumon…"- Shinso said.
- "That's right, if you combine the spirit of fire and the spirit of light with four other spirits each... you'll get KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon respectively."-Homeostasis said.
- "And how can we achieve that?"- Toya asked.
- "You will need help... Izuku Midoriya, Hitoshi Shinso, give me your D-Scans."- Homeostasis said and then Izuku and Shinso hand him their D-Scans. – "I will upgrade your D-Scans so that you can access the other digital spirits."- After this the D-Scans start to glow while energy starts to surround them, after several seconds both D-Scans have been upgraded.
Izuku's D-Scan is now black with red details and a red handle, while Shinso's is now white with blue details and a navy-blue handle.
Homeostasis hands their respective D-Scans to Izuku and Shinso. – "With these improvements you will be able to access the rest of the digital spirits, both those of your teammates and those that you have recovered."- Homeostasis said.
- "And how do we transform into these transcendent warriors?"- Izuku asked.
- "In the same way that you normally do, however... you won't be able to do it on your own."- Homeostasis said.
- "I don't understand…"- Kaminari said. – "You give them the way to do it but they can't do it..."-
- "In the same way that you needed to be ready for the fusion spirits you should be ready for the transcendent, the mental load of five spirits is worse than that of the fusion, if you do it alone... you will die from the mental load."- Homeostasis said.
- "So how can they do it?"- Melissa said.
- "You will help. When, for example, Izuku transforms into KaiserGreymon, two of you will join him in the transformation, Izuku will be the one to control the transformation, while the other two will function as a way to bear the mental load of the five spirits."- Homeostasis said.
- "What you're saying is that Denki, Shoto, Toya and I will function as extra minds for the transformation."- Melissa asked.
- "In a certain way, yes. Do not be confused, you will be aware of what will be happening, but you will not be able to do anything, Izuku and Shinso will be in charge of controlling the transformation."- Homeostasis said.
- "And what will happen when we detransform?"- Shinso asked.
- "Don't worry, each of you will return to your human form separately."- Homeostasis said.
- "I see... in that case, I think it's worth a try!"- Izuku said, but in that he turns to see Melissa, Shoto, Kaminari and Toya. – "If you agree."-
- "Are you kidding? Let's do it!"- Kaminari said.
- "It's the only way to beat Lucemon, so we have to do it." – Shoto said.

- "We'll be fine Izuku, don't worry."- Melissa said.

- "I'll go with Izuku."- Melissa said while holding Izuku's hand.
- "Me too."- Shoto said.
- "In that case, Toya and I will go with Shinso, that's fine with me."- Kaminari said.
- "Alright, I agree."- Toya said.
- "And what about the other four?"- Shinso asked.
- "I'll take the wood and earth ones, if you don't mind."- Izuku said.
- "So I'll take the water and steel ones."- Shinso said.
- "Very well, if you are ready, Melissa and Shoto stand behind Izuku and put your hands on his back, Denki and Toya do the same but with Hitoshi."- Homeostasis said.
Melissa, Shoto, Kaminari and Toya do as indicated, while doing so Izuku and Shinso's D-Scans start to glow slightly.
- "Now, Izuku, Hitoshi, try to access the other spirits."- Homeostasis said.
By doing as indicated, a digital circle appears at the feet of each boy, suddenly Arbormon and Grumblemon appear in front of Izuku, but apparently they are not ethereal, they are just spirits, both proceed to extend their hands pointing towards Izuku with their hands open, the same thing happens with Shinso, onlythat Ranamon and Mercurymon appear in front of him.
- "You're ready... now digivolve!"- Homeostasis said.
Izuku and Shinso turn to see each other and nod with a smile on their faces, as they do this a data wheel appears in their hands. – "Execute!"- They both say in unison and proceed to connect their D-Scans to the data. – "Hyper Spirit Evolution!"-
Melissa, Shoto, Arbormon, and Grumblemon merge with Izuku while Toya, Kaminari, Ranamon, and Mercurymon merge with Shinso and both are surrounded by data.

Izuku and Shinso let out a roar as they prepare to transform.
The digital spirits (human and beast) appear in front of them and begin to fuse with Izuku and Shinso, Wind, Ice, Earth and Wood for Izuku and Thunder, Darkness, Water and Steel for Shinso.
As this happens, Izuku begins to cover himself with fire while Shinso begins to cover himself with light.
Then the main spirits of Izuku and Shinso merge with them, Fire for Izuku and Light for Shinso.
Finally the fire and light that covered them vanish and the transformation is complete.

The data disappeared and instead of Izuku there was... – "KaiserGreymon!"- KaiserGreymon is a humanoid-shaped Digimon whose body is fully covered in armor forged by a dark garnet-red Metal Chrome Digiozoid. His helmet or helmet is similar to Agunimon's, only now it covers his entire face and takes on a more orange color. Both its shoulders and its dolls and legs seem to have a shield in the shape of an animal or some unknown Digimon. He has a sword on his back, which is divided into several segments and is the one he uses to carry out most of his attacks.
And instead of Shinso there was… - "MagnaGarurumon!"- MagnaGarurumon is a humanoid Digimon in the shape of a wolf and whose body is covered in its entirety by an armor forged by Metal Chrome Digizoid Blue, which gives it more movement and speed. His entire body appears to be packed with an arsenal of weapons, carrying a sniper gun in his right hand and a light gun in his left hand. It can also launch missiles from its wings. Also add, that he is capable of shedding his armor at will in order to gain even more speed at the time of combat or when it is useless for having spent all his ammunition. To finish, also say that it has a hidden saber in each arm, and these are stored in a compartment of it.
- "They did it..."- Angewomon said.
- "I feel… weird."- MGarurumon said.
(AN: I'm going to call KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon with their Digimon names, since technically they are made up of three people so to avoid confusion I will call them by their Digimon names, but abbreviated since they are too long to write, KGreymon for KaiserGreymon and MGarurumon for MagnaGarurumon .)
- "Me too... but this is not the time for that, we have a demon lord to defeat!"- KGreymon said and then turn to see Homeostasis. – "Thanks for this second chance."-
- "You don't have to thank me, Lucemon being defeated is enough."- Homeostasis said.
KGreymon nods and then looks at MGarurumon. - "Let's go."- After this they both fly away in the direction of the front line.
Homeostasis stays looking in the direction in which they went. - "Angewomon…"-
- "Yes?"- Angewomon asked.
- "Take this girl home."- Homeostasis said.

Front Line.
Back in the front line, all the heroes are on the ground, although strangely none are dead (apart from those who already died), the only ones still standing are Endeavor, Mirko, Best Jeanists, Hawks, among others, above all of them is Lucemon in the air. – "Now that you've learned your place, it's time to finish you off." -Lucemon extends his hand up and begins to generate a large sphere of dark energy. – "When I eliminate all of you, no one will want to challenge me, and thus my plan will finally be completed!"- Lucemon said excitedly, however in his head different thoughts occurred. – "When will you show up? I didn't do all this for nothing... If she doesn't show up, my plan would have been for nothing!"-
However, before Lucemon can launch the energy sphere, a shot destroys the sphere.
Lucemon, somewhat surprised, turns to see who destroyed his attack, seeing who it was about, his surprise increased. – "You! Impossible... you should be dead!"-
In the air above Lucemon, MagnaGarurmon and KaiserGreymon are floating, MagnaGarurumon reloads his gun, since he was the one who fired. – "As you can see, we can still fight!"- KGreymon said.
- "This time you won't beat us!"- MGarurumon said.
With rage flooding his body, Lucemon surrounds himself with an aura of light and dark. - "I don't care how many times they come back! I won't let them interrupt my plans! This time I'll make sure not to leave anything of you!"-
- "You're wrong!"- KGreymon said while drawing his sword, at the same time MGGarurumon prepares his guns. – "This time we will be the ones who will win!"-
- "Die!"- Lucemon charges at KGreymon and MGarurumon.
For his part, KGreymon charges against Lucemon while MGarurumon fires several missiles at Lucemon.
The final battle of the war has begun.

Well, at last I'm back and with a new chapter finished and... They're alive!
Our beloved protagonists are still alive! Well, rather they have been revived...
Did they really believe that I would kill the protagonists? I think it was pretty obvious that something was going to happen and that somehow they would revive.

Speaking of other things, the transcendental warriors have debuted, KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon (Yes, I know that in the English dub he was called EmperorGreymon, but I knew him as KaiserGreymon, and that is his original name, so I hope you don't get upset with me.)

Now... speaking of why it took me so long to publish this chapter...
As you must know, I fell ill and felt quite bad, now I feel much better, but I'm not fully recovered... unfortunately I got Covid, but don't worry, I have the vaccine, so it didn't affect me at all to my health, or at least I don't feel bad, so what remains is to wait for it to come out negative.
So yes... probably the next chapter will also take time to come out, since I'm still in recovery.
