Finish the fight.
Endeavor opens his eyes. – "How much have I slept?"- Endeavor sits on the bed in the hospital room he was in, Endeavor sits on the bed in the hospital room he was in and runs his left hand over where his right arm used to be, now missing from Machinedramon's attack.

- "And Toya?"- Endeavor asked.

Meanwhile KGreymon and MGarurumon are watching Lucemon. – "I'll go first."- KGreymon said to quickly lunge at Lucemon and punch him in the stomach.
From the blow, Lucemon is thrown backwards. – "Damn... It took me by surprise."-
However KGreymon does not stop and from his sword a dragon of Gaia digital energy emerges. – "Kuzuryūjin!"- The dragon launches at Lucemon and hits him, dragging him several meters backwards and then creating an explosion when he hits the ground.
KGreymon smiles slightly when seeing the result of his attack, MGarurumon arrives and stands next to him. – "We better fight together... it's time to fight seriously."- MGarurumon said while pointing to the sky.
KGreymon looks up at the sky and can see the crest of pride shining in the sky.
Suddenly, at the place where Lucemon crashed the dust abruptly disappears and an angry Lucemon surrounded by light and dark energy appears. – "This time I'm not going to hold back anymore! I made a mistake in underestimating all of you!"- A furious Lucemon said. - "You want to fight me at my full power?! Fine! I will not leave any of you alive! And this time I'll make sure no one saves your lives again!"-
- "You're wrong! This time we will be the ones who will win!"- KGreymon said.
- "One of them awakened the power of Gaia..."- Lucemon thought as he looked at KGreymon, then his gaze landed on MGarurumon. – "The other one obtained great firepower... the two of them together are now stronger than the ten legendary warriors together..."- Lucemon gets into fighting stance. – "The moment has arrived! This will be the last fight! Your power against mine! Let's see who is superior once and for all!"- After saying this, Lucemon expels a large amount of blue fire from his hands against KGreymon and MGarurumon.
Lucemon.
Quirk: Blueflame.
Lucemon's quirk grants him the ability to generate and control highly destructive blue flames from his body.
This quirk is a copy of Toya Todoroki's former quirk.
KGreymon quickly creates another Gaia digital energy dragon and manages to protect himself and MGarurumon from Lucemon's attack.
Taking advantage of this, MGarurumon shoots several missiles at Lucemon from the weapon on his left arm.
Lucemon quickly creates a barrier to protect himself from the attack, however KGreymon appears behind him and manages to hit him with his sword, although he fails to inflict any cut on Lucemon, who only falls to the ground on his feet. – "Their powers are interesting..."- At that moment KGreymon and MGarurumon appear on either side of Lucemon. – "They both possess great powers... if I had found them instead of Shigaraki... they would have been more powerful pawns than him..."-
While Lucemon was thinking that, MGarurumon points the gun on his left arm at Lucemon. – "MagnaCannon!"- And shoots a big beam of light.
- "Enjin!"- For his part, KGreymon charges against Lucemon with his sword covered in Gaia digital energy.
Lucemon, seeing this, just smiles and uses Overhaul to create two earthen walls on both sides to protect himself from the attacks. When the attacks collide with the ground barriers they create a large explosion.
KGreymon falls back from the attacks and MGarurumon comes to his side. – "Did we get him?"- MGarurumon asked.
- "No, he created two earth walls to protect himself." – KGreymon said.
- "You should be more attentive to your surroundings!"- Lucemon said suddenly appearing between them and hitting them both, KGreymon with a punch and MGarurumon with a kick to the face.
MGarurumon recoils from the kick, but KGreymon manages to block the attack and counter with a slash of his sword, managing to cut Lucemon in half. – "I got you!"- KGreymon said.
However Lucemon just smiles. – "Are you sure you got the real one?"- Suddenly "Lucemon" starts to melt into a kind of black sludge.
- "A clone!"- KGreymon thought and at that moment four other Lucemon emerged from the ground. – "D*mn it…"- KGreymon takes his sword and manages to cut off the head of one of the clones, but the other three manage to hit him with several punches until he backs off.
KGreymon crashes to the ground and the clones charge at him, however before they can hit him, two clones are destroyed by MGarurumon's missiles, the remaining clone turns to look at MGerurumon, who is reloading missiles, and is inadvertently cut in half by KGreymon.
When the last clone is destroyed KGreymon quickly goes to MGarurumon's side. – "We have to continue working as a team, only then can we beat him."- He said.
In that Lucemon suddenly appears in front of them. - "Is dying together also teamwork?"- Lucemon said mockingly.
KGreymon and MGarurumon make an angry face as they prepare to continue fighting.
Lucemon creates another four clones while grinning maniacally. – "I'm bored, it's time to finish this."- Lucemon places his hands on the ground and ten large meteorites are created from the earth.
Lucemon rises in the sky and meteors rise with him.
- "Let's go after him!"- KGreymon said at the moment that he and MGarurumon try to go for Lucemon, but the clones prevent it, starting to fight the two.
KGreymon and MGarurumon easily get rid of the clones, however it was too late, Lucemon lit the ten meteorites on blue fire and threw them at them. – "Try to dodge this! Planetary destruction!"-
- "Everybody! Fall back!"- Endeavor, seeing the situation, orders the heroes.
- "MagnaGarurumon!"- KGreymon indicates to his partner as he plunges his sword into the ground.
- "I'm on it!"- MGarurumon points all his weapons towards the meteors.
- "Kuzuryūjin, Full Power! / Destructive Machine Gun!"- KGreymon and MGarurumon shout in unison while nine dragons made of Gaia digital energy emerge from the ground, courtesy of KGreymon, and MGarurumon fired all its weapons at the meteorites.
The nine dragons manage to destroy the meteors and MGarurumon's missiles and shots destroy the remnants of the meteors, however, this was only a distraction on Lucemon's part, since he appears in front of both of them and, surrounding himself with dark and light energy, charges at them.
Luckily, KGreymon manages to see Lucemon and with his sword, still covered with some Gaia digital power, he manages to block Lucemon's attack, however he still keeps pushing.
The struggle of attacks ends when Lucemon manages to overcome KGreymon and send him flying backwards, quickly MGarurumon, after reloading his weapons, tries to shoot a beam of light at Lucemon, but he easily dodges the attack and manages to hit MGarurumon in the stomach, sending him to fly with KGreymon.
KGreymon and MGarurumon get up from the ground, while Lucemon keeps watching them. – "Did you really think that with that increase in power of yours you could defeat me?"- Lucemon said as his aura of light and dark surrounded his body again. – "Why do we have to keep fighting? Join me, when I'm done with this world, you can help me take control of the digital world and if you do, I will let you rule the new digital world that I will create, together with me."-
- "We never will! The legendary warriors entrusted us with their powers, and we will not betray them by joining you!"- KGreymon said to Lucemon as MGarurumon dropped his weapons as his ammunition has run out, leaving him with only a pair of lightsabers.
KGreymon points his sword at Lucemon. – "Enryūgeki!"- Pulling both triggers, KGreymon fires a gigantic beam of Gaia energy at Lucemon.
For its part, MGarurumon surrounds itself with light and prepares to attack. - "Starburst Hunter!"- Accelerating at the speed of light, MGarurumon charges at Lucemon.
Lucemon remains standing in the same place, and without warning he moves to dodge MGarurumon's attack and kicks him flying, just in time to jump and dodge KGreymon's attack and landing back on the ground.
- "H-How?"- KGreymon said.
- "Don't make me laugh, did you seriously think that you could defeat me with that?"- Lucemon said as he placed his hand on his head, as if he was mocking the two of them.
- "We will defeat you no matter what!"- KGreymon said while charging at Lucemon.
Seeing this Lucemon only laughs slightly, seeing this MGarurumon tries to warn KGreymon. – "Kasier Greymon, wait!"-
However this warning came late, by the time KGreymon was close enough, Lucemon was ready to attack. – "Paradise Lost Punch!"- Lucemon unleashes a flurry of punches at KGreymon, which do a lot of damage to him, after this, Lucemon kicks KGreymon which lifts him up into the sky.
Wasting no time, Lucemon also rises into the air and kicks KGreymon a second time, causing him to crash to the ground. – "Now you will learn your place."- Lucemon said to then shoot a pair of spheres, one of light and one of darkness, at KGreymon, hitting him and creating a big explosion.
When the smoke and dust from the explosion dissolve on the ground you can see Izuku, Melissa and Shoto in their human forms again, luckily they are still alive.
- "Imposible!"- MGarurumon said. – "Not even with these new powers..."-
In the distance, the heroes are surprised to see that KGreymon was actually three people.
Izuku, Melissa and Shoto get up from the ground, but at that moment Lucemon lands in front of them. – "So there were three of you... this time I'll make sure none of you survive!"- Lucemon creates a sphere of darkness, but before he can launch it MGarurumon tries to attack him, however this was what Lucemon wanted. – "Paradise Lost Punch!"- Attacking MGarurumon with a flurry of punches and then finishing off with a kick and lifting MGarurumon up into the sky, repeating what he did with KGreymon, Lucemon rises up and with a kick sends MGarurumon crashing to the ground and then throws two spheres of fire at it. energy, one of light and one of darkness.
As with KGrerymon, as the dust and smoke dissolve, Shinso, Kaminari, and Toya can be seen on the ground in their human forms but still alive.
- "Guys!"- Izuku said as Shinso, Kaminari and Toya get up from the ground.
- "As you can see, even with that increase in power... you are no match for me!"- Lucemon said as he stretched out his arm towards the sky with his open hand, creating a gigantic sphere of combined darkness and light. – "Human world... know my will! Be thankful that I have decided to purify your world!"-
They all stare at Lucemon's sphere, knowing that this was it, it's over.
However something happened, before Lucemon launched the attack, he feels something and with a smile on his face undoes his attack. – "Finally you came..."- Lucemon looks up at the sky and can see a gigantic data portal open.
Izuku and the other chosen ones, together with the heroes, fear the worst, thinking that more enemies will arrive, however, whoever arrived was not an enemy, but not exactly an ally either.
A gigantic crystalline white digimon emerges from the portal, next to this digimon another black one, the same size as Lucemon, also emerges from the portal.
Lucemon stares at the white digimon. - "At last you deign to appear... Yggdrasil!"-
Upon hearing the name, the chosen ones, except Toya, are surprised. – "Yggdrasill… Did he say Yggdrasil?"- Shoto asked.
- "Yes... but what is she doing here?"- Izuku asked.
(AN: If you're wondering why I refer to Yggdrasill as a "she", that's because many digimon materials usually use feminine suffixes when referring to Yggdrasill, even though it doesn't have a gender.)
- "Do you know that thing?"- Toya asked.
- "By name only, as far as we know, Yggdrasill is the god of the digital world."- Shinso said. – "However... the black digimon that accompanies her, we don't know anything about him."-
- "I've been waiting for this since this war started!"- Lucemon said as he surrounded himself with dark and light energy and charged at Yggdrasill,
However, the black digimon creates a sword made of light, grabs it with his right hand and blocks Lucemon's attack.
Despite this, Lucemon only smiles more. - "You've always been the most faithful servant of Yggdrasill... Alphamon."- Lucemon said.
- "I will not let this insult to Yggdrasill go unpunished, Lucemon!"- Pushing with his sword, Alphamon pushes Lucemon back, however he wasted no time and, frim his left hand, fired several lasers at Lucemon, which hit the fallen angel and made him fall to the ground.
Lucemon gets up from the ground, smiling. – "As expected of the strongest royal knight... However, you will not be able to stop me, my plan is about to come true! I'm going to destroy Yggdrasill and become the new god of the digital world!"- Lucemon covers himself again with his aura of darkness and light.
- "I won't let you!"- Alphamon said while preparing another attack with his left hand, however before either of them could do anything…
- "Enough!"- Yggdrasill said, its voice resounding throughout the place, just as it said that, Lucemon's aura, Alphamon's sword and both digimon's attacks disappeared.
Lucemon is shocked at this and can see how the crest of pride in the sky disappears, his power also decreasing at the same time.
- "I have put up with your insolence for too long, Lucemon, I thought you had finally been destroyed, but I can see that even that can't stop you..."- Yggdrasill said and at the same time a data portal appears behind Lucemon's back, the latter feels like he is forcibly attracted to it. – "If destroying you doesn't work... I'll lock you forever in the dark area! This time I won't let you escape!"-
- "What are you doing?!"- Lucemon said at the moment that some chains emerge from the portal trapping Lucemon. – "Do you really think that the dark area will be able to stop me?!" - Lucemon begins to fall apart as the portal absorbs him. – "This is just a small delay! You haven't seen the last of me!"- Finally, Lucemon is completely sucked into the data portal, however no one noticed Lucemon's smile before disappearing, leaving Shigaraki's body behind. – "Phase two of the plan... completed successfully."-
Silence takes over the environment for several seconds and then everyone sighs in relief, the war is finally over.
A few minutes pass and the heroes are now counting casualties, some are being treated and others are simply chatting among themselves, for his part Alphamon approaches the six chosen ones. – "You are the humans chosen by the legendary warriors..."-
- "Yes."- Izuku, as the leader of the chosen ones, answers.
- "I see…"- Alphamon said. – "As a gesture of gratitude, Yggdrasill has granted you permission to keep and protect the spirits of the descendants of the legendary warriors, as well as their fusions and transcendental spirits."-
- "I… We appreciate that."- Izuku said.
Alphamon just nods and then turns around and goes to where Aizawa is. – "Are you the human whose power Lucemon stole?"-
- "Yes…"- Aizawa said.
- "I see…"- Alphamono proceeds to place his outstretched hand in front of Aizawa's face, suddenly Aizawa is surrounded by digital energy, this lasts a few seconds, after which Alphamon withdraws his hand. – "What is yours has been returned to you."-
Aizawa is speechless, he thought that now he would have to manage without his quirk, but apparently his quirk has returned. - "Thank you…"-
Alphamon nods, takes a last look at the chosen ones who watch as Alphamon nods to them, expressing respect, and then rises into the sky to return to Yggdrasill's side.
Without saying another word, Alphamon and Yggdrasill return to the portal they came from, it closes once both digimon enter the portal.

- "We couldn't defeat Lucemon, even with the powerup we received...we were lucky Yggrdasil and Alphamon showed up when they did."- Shoto said. – "Still... Lucemon's last words were... worrisome."-
- "What matters is that we managed to win and now we can rest."- Enji said.
In that the door of the room opens and a doctor enters. – "I see you're finally awake, Todoroki-san."- The doctor said. – "I have good news about the prosthetic arm we ordered."-
- "What's up with that?"- Enji asked.
- "It's almost finished, don't worry, the prosthesis is designed so that you can live your normal life as if you had never lost your arm."- The doctor said. – "Not only that, it has also been customized, just like Usagiyama-san's prosthesis, hers has been customized with strong impact resistant materials, while yours has been created with fire proof materials, this way you can your quirk with your prosthesis without it being damaged by your flames."-
- "The wonders of technological advancement..."- Enji said. – "Thank you doctor."-
The doctor nods and before he can say anything else, the hospital door opens, entering the room Rei, Fuyumi and Natsuo. – "Enji, Shoto, are you alright?"- Rei said.

- "And the others?"- Melissa asked.
- "Toya-san and Todoroki-kun are with their family, although I heard that Todoroki-kun went to see Ashido-san while Endeavor-san woke up, Shinso-kun is checking on Uraraka-san and Kaminari-kun the same with Jiro- san."- Izuku said.
- "So it's just the two of us."- Melissa said.
- "I guess…"- Izuku said.
- "What's wrong?"- Melissa asks in a slightly concerned tone.
- "It's just... Lucemon's words."- Izuku said. – "He said he will return... it would be silly to think that he won't..."-
- "Don't worry."- Melissa said. – "When he returns... we will be stronger!"-

- "What do you mean by that?"- Leviamon asked.

I finally had time to finish the chapter.
Again, an apology for taking so long to publish a new chapter, the truth is that this month has been very difficult for me, first I get sick and then I get Covid.

That's right, the arc of the war has finally come to an end, without a doubt the longest arc I have written, more than ten chapters when the previous longest arc was five chapters.
This arc has been quite interesting, we saw several deaths, which adds seriousness to the story and without a doubt this has been my favorite arc to write, despite how difficult some chapters were.

Despite their new powers, the chosen ones cannot defeat Lucemon, although at the end of the day we are talking about the demon lord who is capable of fighting several royal knights at the same time.
However, Yggdrasill ex machina appears to save the day.
Along with her also debuts Alphamon.
Now only the last arc of this story remains, the final battle.
Lucemon and the rest of the demon lords are ready to attack the earth, will this be the true end of our chosen ones... or maybe some digital allies will help in this final battle *wink wink¨*
