"Get to the point you raging whore!" I shouted back. "I don't have time to play any of your silly games, spill it or else your face will exit out of here looking far worse for wear. You wouldn't want that to happen, right?"
"I don't know whether to laugh, or kick you in the dick." She retaliated, her tone staying consistent. "Clearly, you haven't been paying attention to the humans you love so much. Say, how far have you fallen down the scale of ineptitude to become negligent of the very people you lot seem to care about so much."
Humans? Or would it be more apt to say a pagan cult? No, Babylon fell ages ago, long enough that many of the cities have been reduced to dust, and its remaining structures turned shelter for all sorts of creatures… Unless... "Revelations?"
"That's the one!" Oh no. "Humans are such imaginative creatures. We should really commend them more for it in all reality. I mean, all it takes is a snap for an entire pantheon to disappear due to a lack of followers. And in the same amount of time, a thousand other deities, heavenly cities, and realms could be created without any of us knowing. Marvelous I tell you, marvelous!"
"And yet, your kind arrogantly parades around, ignoring their existence until necessary." I spat. "Seldom do you watch over them, save those who are forced to perform the task due to their 'divinities'. Say, how many of your pantheon have fallen at this point? Or perhaps you're the only one left standing."
"Careful where you step Mr. Burning eyes." She warned, a light pressure weighing down on my shoulders. "Who knows, I might just end you right here with a snap of my fingers. And no one would be none the wiser. Would be a shame for you to die here when you seem urgent to get to somewhere. Pray tell, what is it you need to do that is so close to my boy?"
A child? No, it couldn't have been. Something about what she just said didn't feel right. Plus, both of them had to have been brought into existence from human faith, that would only suggest one thing.
My heart beat spiked. My wings spread as far as they could, as several hundred more eyes awakened from their deep slumber. Each of them concentrated a ball of flame, lighting up the night sky in a nova of flashing color.
"Confrontational, are we? Well, it's been a while since I've had my fun, so I don't see why not." The Whore of Babylon spouted, a goblet materializing in her hand. "Wine of Earthly Pleasures, heed my call. Corrupt these lands, and ravage both Human and God. Splay them out on an alter for mine child to feast!"

The entire world in the palm of my hand. I could see it all now.
From a moment, everything felt so clear. And in the next, it disappeared, vanishing as though it weren't even there in the first place. A searing pain ingrained itself into my head as the infinite number of experiences caused by that instant all come crashing down.
Life and death, angels and devils, lesser gods, fairies, all manner of beings. Each of them existing in their own bubble. My eyes were privy to information kept shut by the Almighty Father, and I was punished for opening His vault.
Taking my attention back towards the rampaging beast, I flashed a dagger of light and rushed back in, continuing my efforts with renewed vigor.

Leaping into the air, my body spun around his attacks, weaving past the multitude of laser aimed at me more easily than before. "Ramiel!" I called out, dodging another strike that had come from behind. "I need you to buy me a little bit more time. I think I have something that might put this beast down long enough for us to escape."
Rolling back onto the ground, I stared up at the monster and charged up another attack, drawing upon my newfound power to enhance its capabilities. "Copy… twenty seconds, that's all my strength will allow." He replied, a large wave of lightning bursting from his general direction as he did so.
A long exhale drew from my breath, the moonlight around me flickering at random intervals. Energy pulled from my core and flowed throughout, a dark aura fiery aura coating my limbs as crackling echoed in my ears. Armor, far stronger than anything I had created up until that point, layering over my body as my wings continuously flapped, sending me skyward.
Twirling my daggers around between my fingertips, I dove back down, my momentum rising as the edge of my weapons lengthened to that of a two-handed sword. A cone of flame engulfed me as I quickly found myself striking my foe, jamming both blades into his body as I dragged them along, slicing through him as Nero made no attempt to strike back.

My teeth gnashed against one another, wrath boiling in my head, a hinderance, but one that won't last long. Flaring my holy light throughout his body, he swiftly exploded not long afterward, though, with his form in a liquid state, it wouldn't take long for him to rematerialize, a chorus of laughter echoing from his congealed mass as his voice became more smug.
However, that didn't deter me one bit, as a charged up electrical blast shot out of Ramiel's hands, zapping the beast as he froze in his place. "Wh̥̭̘͉̄̓͐͘a̤̻̜̐́̐!̛̤͚̺̘͓͗̃͋̈?̦͝" He cried out, confusion muddling his voice as three orbs formed behind me. He was frozen in place, and he wasn't very pleased by it. My mind raced, ignoring whatever he said, and was currently chanting. It was a race against the clock, and I didn't know whether or not I had enough time. The sequence of prayers passed through my head at rapid speed, calculations and numbers heating up every fiber of my being as the red motes of light supplied me with energy. So quick in my evolution, to be going all out once more, at a time where my body is at its most volatile as well.
Gritting my teeth through the pain, I shifted my sight back to the Beast, Nero's shape finally growing taller than the building itself, the walls that remained standing around us falling apart with little effort.
"Everyone save for Ramiel and Sathorael have been extracted." Yeshamiel announced through our communications, a wave of relief washing over my as I returned my sights back to the monster. "I repeat, all members of squad 356811 have evacuated the premises. We're awaiting your next orders, Leliel."
A smile suddenly appeared on my lips without my knowing, the balls orbiting behind me combining into one, a kaleidoscope of colors flashing before my eyes. Grabbing it with both hands, I condensed it down to as small as it could be, my palms searing with pain as my eyes wince ever so slightly. Just… a little… bit more…
Gradually, it came down to the size of a small rock, enough to barely fit a circle made with only the index finger and thumb. My wings began picking up speed again, my legs running on their own while a guttural shout left my lips. My fist high in the air as a series of spike sprouted from the very air around me, managing to pierce cleanly through my chest in the process.

Hell on earth had wrought the lands a sunder, the faces of the various defiled corpses appearing on his incomprehensible mass, screaming for mercy as the head of a dragon manifested right before my eyes, roaring to the heavens above.
Pure sin incarnate, the world had birthed this monster, blaming all of their wrong doings upon it, making it stronger. Doubt riddled my mind, just moments before my fist struck the beast. Could I actually stop it? Despite all of the hardships, trials, and various tribulations I had to go through?
No, there was no reason to doubt myself, especially after having gotten so far. Not here, and not now. Clenching my fist, I rammed it into the monster, a shield of an innumerable number of souls stopping my path.
But I didn't just stop there. Tearing through each person, I released each of those damned souls, finally giving them the rest they desired. However, it wouldn't be enough, as a blow rocketed towards my side, knocking me off course, and destabilizing the energy that I had collected all up until that point, my one saving grace slowing dissolving as though it were powder in a pool of water.
A loss that would no doubt plague me until my dying day, but one that I would reconciliate. Prove to my own self that this task is no more than a hurdle for me to overcome. One of His divine tests, if I wanted to survive, all I would need is His guidance and nothing more.
My mind zoned in, a number of attacks quickly zooming towards me. None of that matter however, if I was to find a solution, I had to open up my heart to the Almighty Father beforehand no matter the cost.
Fire, lightning, and holy light. Each element was given to us by His grace, and each was used to strike down His foes. Piercing through my back, a spear poked out of my abdomen, blood spurting from my lips as I continued praying, praying for a solution to overcome our circumstance.
Entering deeper into my mind, a single flame appeared, colors spanning all ranges, flashing in the likeness of a rainbow. My hand slowly gravitated towards it, my hands searing as I cupped it within my grasp, the fire snaking all the way up my arms and spreading throughout, lighting me ablaze. It burned, yet, it comforted at the same time. Soon, all sensation left my body, discarding it to attain a new form.
Out from my previous figure, birthed a new being, one with as many eyes as it did feathers, me. The area around me burned, torching whatever was left to the ground as I made another assault on the monster. My entire existence crackled, a lost song of fire arising from the very depths of my core, the very same charcoal leaving my body as it led a path straight for my enemy.
Casually moving at speeds I wasn't able to achieve up until that point, my body became that of a star's, shining light brighter than the sun's as I rocketed towards the beast a second time, the motes of red light filling my being as I used its power to destroy any and all of the barriers he had put to stop us.
Cracks formed on his body, slowly shattering like glass as he continuously spewed curses at me, crude in his speech, but not totally so. He had a way with his words, flowery yet threatening. Poetic, yet absolutely vile. Until he finally fell, more than a few centuries too late.
Dialing up command, I looked at the bubbling coprse over for a few seconds before they connected with me. "Command, this is the leader of squad 356811, Leliel, requesting medical treatment and evac at 37.664301, -92.869845, over."
The clacking sounds of keys rang in my ears, various people talking over one another as the woman on the line swiftly responded. "Support will be there shortly. Though, there seems to be a confrontation happening near your coordinates, slowly approaching your location at a speed of five hundred meters as second."
"Copy that." Was all I could say, disbelief washing over my eyes while my gaze shifted back to those who helped me in the fight, in particular, the newbie, Sathorael. He seemed to have been the one to manifest those light, through whatever method, it didn't matter, the amount of help I alone received from it was astonishing on its own. He had a promising future to say the least.

The wet sound of an object hitting the floor, rippling through the air like cascading rapids striking rocks. What… what was that?
Turning to look at it, my hands could barely gat a hold of themselves, shaking up a storm as my vision met with a buxom woman's, her figure naked to the world and standing over the body that I just slain.
"Wine of temptation, heed my call." My hands blitzed, moving towards the girl without a second thought. "Drinkth upon mine sins, and recreate." A touch too late. "Tiamat's Womb."
Translation:
"Another set of wings? You really expect something so small to tip the scales into your favor? Hm! I implore you to do your best."
"What was that supposed to do? Tickle me? Has your mind finally gone down the gutter so much that you treat me as though I were a mortal? Your attempts are amusing, I'll give you that. But, still disappointing."
