1. Int. Jewelry Store. Day.
Craig and Manny are in a fancy jewelry store, that she looks very out of place in. He doesn´t, since he has been perfectly styled to look like a rock star, while she still looks like plain old Manny in comparison.
CAPTION:
DECEMBER 23RD
Craig:
Can we see those?
The jeweler gets some expensive diamond ear rings from behind the counter and shows it to them.
Manny:
Craig, that´s way too much!
Craig:
We can afford it. Anyway, you deserve it for all those months, I left you here alone. How much are they?
Jeweler:
Nine hundred dollars.
Manny:
Nine hundred? We could buy food for three months for that money.
Craig:
You´ll have to excuse her. She isn´t like most other girls, as you can see.
The jeweler smiles to himself.
Manny:
I can settle for a new pair of jeans or something. Come to think of it, I could use a new pair. Let´s go.
Craig:
We´ll call them an extra present. I want to do something special for you. Can´t you just enjoy it, for my sake at least?
Manny:
This place, diamonds, that isn´t me. If you want to get me something, then let it be something simple, that won´t make me feel guilty, every time I look at it.
Jewelry:
We have some lovely, simple ear rings, if you´d like to see them?
Craig:
Let´s see them. This Christmas, my girl is gonna get what she wants!
He smiles at her, as she tries to hide her guilt at what she´s been doing, while he was away.
OPENING CREDITS
2. Int. Paige´s House. Day.
JT is being led through Paige´s house by Paige herself. Tables are being re-arranged by hired help for an upcoming party.
JT:
How many are coming?
Paige:
Sixty three, dates and extended family included.
JT:
If my family tried, we wouldn´t be able to get ten of us together for a party!
Paige:
The Canadian branch of the Michalchuk clan is a large one and make no mistake, this won´t be a party. Think of it more as an on-going cold war, you´ll be stuck in the middle of.
JT tries not to look intimidated.
JT:
Pardon?
Paige:
How this party goes determines our status within the family for the two next years. You could say that the bi-annual Christmas party, we have to host, is our exam, like the "Spring Get Together" is my aunt Andrea and uncle Robert´s and the "Summer Blow Out at our family´s old house at the Lake" is my cousin Marvin and his boyfriend Max´s.
JT:
At least you´re all tolerant of gays!
Paige:
Only to their face, believe me. Don´t feel sorry for them, they do the same to everyone else! I know that my family is weird, so you don´t have to tell me!
JT:
And you want me to help you make an impression? Have you seen me?
Paige:
You´re rugged around the edges, but you´re the best option, I have available. Thanks for doing this.
JT:
Don´t mention it. I welcome anything that takes my mind off life.
Paige:
Is it that girl again?
JT:
She´s driving me crazy.
Paige:
Why don´t you dump her then?
JT:
If only it were that easy!
He shakes his head at the situation and she looks sympathetic with him.
3. Int. Craig and Manny´s Room. Evening.
Craig and Manny are fooling around on the bed, but she isn´t looking too into it. He is however, in a big way!
Manny:
Sorry, Craig. I´m not feeling it.
Craig stops and looks annoyed with her.
Craig:
That´s what you´ve said every night, since I came home!
Manny:
Do you want me to do it with you, out of obligation?
Craig:
No, but it´s strange considering that it´s been as long for you, as it´s been for me.
Manny:
I suppose we can try it again, if you really want to.
Craig:
Not when you put it like that! Do you even like me anymore?
Manny:
Of course, I do!
Craig:
Then what´s the matter? Talk to me.
He looks her in the eyes, but she´s constantly trying to avoid his eye contact.
Manny:
It´s nothing.
Craig:
There has to be something.
Manny:
How could you leave me alone like that?
Craig:
You weren´t completely alone. You had Joey and Caitlin here.
Manny:
You know, that isn´t the same. We used to be more than a couple. Now we can hardly even call ourselves that anymore.
Craig:
Manny, I won´t keep apologizing and making excuses. Not for following a dream, we both agreed, I could follow. Let´s not forget that.
Manny:
Can you just hold me?
He gives it up and is filled with sympathy for her.
Craig:
Sure, I can.
They lie down and she snuggles up in his arms.
Craig:
We´ll figure something out in the new year, I promise.
He kisses her hair, but she isn´t looking convinced.
4. Int. Department Store. Morning.
The department store is full of people, who are out doing some last minute shopping. One of them is Manny, who´s going over a check list, she has with her. Paige, who has bags from a clothing store in each hand, sees her and comes over to her.
CAPTION
DECEMBER 24TH
Paige:
Out doing some last minute shopping, Manny?
Manny looks up from her list and isn´t exactly excited to see her.
Manny:
Hi, Paige. Yeah, I forgot to buy a bunch of stuff. This last month has been crazy!
Paige:
Tell me about it. I thought, mid terms would never end! JT says hi.
Manny tries not to react too strongly to the mention of his name.
Manny:
When did you talk to him?
Paige:
Yesterday. I thought, you two were close?
Manny:
We were but ... it´s a long story. How did he seem?
Paige:
Oh, you know, he´s JT. I can tell that something is bothering him, but he´ll only tell me, that it has something to do with a girl. Figures, right?
Manny:
What do you mean?
Paige:
Just that JT is, should we say, susceptible to girls. If one puts the right moves on him, then he won´t be able to say no. Why do you think, I did everything I could, to keep him to myself?
Manny:
He doesn´t seem like the cheating type.
Paige:
I didn´t mean it that way! Anyway, I´m taking his mind off it today. He´s coming to our family Christmas party as my date.
Manny tries not to react, but the first signs of panic are quickly showing.
Manny:
Are you dating again?
Paige:
I said it was a date, didn´t I? Doesn´t that officially qualify as dating?
Manny:
I guess so.
Paige:
I´d better get home with these, so I can have them wrapped, before our guests arrive. Have a merry Christmas and say hi to Craig for me.
Manny:
You too.
Paige walks away from her, smirking. Manny on the other hand looks like her entire world just came crashing down.
5. Int. Emma´s old Room. Day.
Emma is wrapping presents with Manny´s help, but to be honest, Manny isn´t much help right now.
Manny:
She has to be lying, right? I mean, it´s Paige. Since when could you trust a word, that comes out of her mouth?
Emma:
Probably.
Manny:
Then again, what if she isn´t and they are back together?
Emma:
Wouldn´t it be what´s best for everyone?
Manny:
You don´t mean that!
Emma:
How in any kind of universe, do you see this getting a happy ending, where you and JT ride off into the sunset together? I can´t!
Manny:
I have to keep believing in it, or I´ll go crazy.
Emma can see how sad Manny looks and stops what she doing.
Emma:
Have you told JT?
Manny:
I haven´t talked to him since the night, Caitlin almost caught us. I want to go to him so badly and tell him the truth, but I can´t.
Emma:
What is the truth?
Manny:
That I´m too afraid of the consequences. Where am I gonna live, for one thing, if me and Craig break up? The entire basis for my life, will disappear from second to second.
Emma:
If I thought it would help, then I would tell you how disappointed I am with you and how you manipulated the hearts and minds of not just one, but two guys, who didn´t deserve it.
Manny:
Em, that´s exactly what you´re doing!
Emma:
You made your bed, so now you have to lie in it! As a feminist, who believes in equality, I have to consider what a lousy kind of thing you did to these guys. If the hindus are right and you died now, you would come back as a rat!
Manny:
Let´s hope, they´re not! On top of this I have Angie´s "Holiday on Ice" show tonight, where I have to play pretend.
Emma:
Manny, there´s people dying of horrible diseases or starving to death. You can handle an evening of sitting on your butt and watching ice capades with kids!
Manny:
Okay, when you put it that way ...
They smile at each other and Manny looks a little cheered up.
6. Int. Paige´s House. Day.
JT is nicely dressed up and is with Paige, as they watch the guests arrive. Paige points out a brunette girl, who´s around the same age as them.
Paige:
That´s my cousin Sylvia. My brother and I call her "The Ninja", because she´s like a silent assassin, who only needs words to kill!
JT:
Charming!
Paige:
She´s coming over here. Get ready.
Sylvia smiles her fake smile at Paige, who gives her an even faker one back.
Sylvia:
Paige! You haven´t gained as much weight, as mother told me!
Paige:
Sylvia! I can hardly see the scars from your nose job anymore! This is my boyfriend, James Tiberious Yorke.
JT clearly wasn´t prepared for being introduced as Paige´s boyfriend, but goes along with it.
JT:
It´s nice to meet you.
Sylvia:
Which street corner did you find him on? Or should I say pound?
JT:
The same one, where you left your social skills, I assume.
Paige smiles at JT getting the first counter-jab in. Sylvia doesn´t take it personally and looks more intrigued that anything else.
Paige:
Touche is the word you´re looking for, Sylvia.
Sylvia:
I have to give it to you, Paige. You could have done worse. If you´ll excuse me, I literally have dozens of people, I have to say hello to.
Paige:
You´d better get to it.
Sylvia leaves them and Paige looks delighted.
Paige:
That was brilliant, JT!
JT:
All I have to do is be a jerk?
Paige:
Not to everyone, but that was well played! I´ve seen her make a grown man cry in a minute flat! Are you ready for Uncle Robert and Aunt Andrea?
JT:
Am I supposed to be a jerk to them?
Paige:
Only if they start with you. If they like you, play along with it.
JT:
Just one thing. You don´t think we´re back together, do you?
Paige:
Because of the whole boyfriend thing? Can´t you play along, for this one evening?
JT:
Only since you asked nicely. I just wanted to make sure.
Paige:
You don´t need to explain. Now let´s go and blow more of my family members away!
She takes his hand and they walk over to Uncle Robert and Aunt Andrea.
7. Int. Craig and Manny´s House. Day.
Manny comes home and it´s only Craig, who´s home. He has his guitar and is trying to work on a song.
Manny:
Hey! I thought, you´d left already.
Craig:
I´ve been waiting for you. I thought, it was just a short trip to the mall.
Manny:
I passed by Emma´s on the way home. She wishes you a merry Christmas from her and the little one.
Craig:
That´s still what they call it? Weird!
Manny:
I sort of get it. This way it won´t be as personal, when they have to hand it off.
Craig:
I don´t know how they can get themselves, to give up their child. Then again, I´m not in their shoes.
Manny:
Haven´t you ever thought about what things would have been like, if we´d given Julia up for adoption?
She sits down next to him and he puts his guitar away.
Craig:
Think of all the things, we would have missed out on. Her first words, her first steps, the first time she said "Dada" and "Mama".
He takes her hand and looks at her in a reassuring way.
Craig:
Look, I know that things have been tough, but I´d like to get through this Christmas without any drama. For the kid´s sakes too.
Manny:
We can´t keep pretending.
Craig:
I know, but we can deal with that later. Christmas is the children´s holiday, so let´s not spoil it for them, okay?
Manny:
I can put on a smile. Look.
She smiles her sweet smile at him.
Craig:
When you smile like that you look just like, when I first asked you out.
Manny:
I´m still the same girl, deep down.
Craig:
Sometimes I wonder, if that´s still the case. We´ve both grown up so much these past years. If you wanted to break up with me, you´d tell me, right?
Manny:
I couldn´t do that, to you or Julia.
Craig:
That´s what worries me. You´ve always been too nice for your own good. If that time should come, you have to promise me, that you won´t string me along. That would be the worst thing, you could do.
Manny:
I promise, I won´t.
Craig:
What do you say I pack this away and we hit the road? It´s Ice Capades time!
She forces a smile for him.
Manny:
The most wonderful time of the year!
He gets off the couch and leaves her. She runs out to the bathroom, when he leaves.
8. Int. Bathroom. Day.
Manny splashes water on her face and tries to compose yourself.
Manny (to herself in the mirror):
Are you trying to make this worse on yourself? You´re so screwed, that even a screwed in screw would say "she´s screwed"!
Craig (off screen):
Manny?
Manny:
I´m fixing my make-up. It´ll only be a moment.
Craig (off screen):
Take your time!
Manny looks herself in the mirror and looks like she hates herself right now.
Manny:
Mental note, Manny. Next time, stick to one boy and if you feel the itch, masturbate like there´s no tomorrow! At least, it won´t get you in this much trouble!
Craig (off screen):
What was that?
Manny:
Nothing!
She wipes her face with a towel and gets her make-up kit out.
9. Int. Paige´s House. Evening.
Paige is clearly very happy with JT´s performance, as the first guests start leaving the party.
Paige:
You have no idea, what kind of favor you did for me today!
JT:
I try my best.
Paige:
In this case, your best was top notch!
JT:
What are you gonna do next time?
Paige:
Well, if you´re still single by the time we reach April?
JT:
We´ll see. I enjoyed myself, believe it or not.
Paige:
I did too. I never would have thought it was possible, at one of our family get togethers, but you made it fun.
JT:
Would you mind, if I left early? Angie has her Ice Capades show tonight.
Paige:
I´ll tell you what. Give me a moment to change and I´ll go with you.
JT:
Won´t anyone miss you?
Paige:
Please! My mom´s too busy bragging about her Begonias, while my aunt Andrea looks on jealously and my dad´s talking childhood memories with Uncle Robert, while they drink the expensive Cognac, he only lets special guests drink. It´s as routine, as clockwork! If they notice that I´m gone, I´ll be shocked!
JT:
Hurry. We can´t keep the little kids waiting.
Paige:
Thanks for making this Christmas not suck, JT. It wouldn´t have been the same without you.
She smiles at him, before heading up to her room. Cousin Marvin and mis boyfriend Max come over to him.
Marvin:
Say, James Tiberious, have you ever been to Santiago, Chile?
JT:
I can´t say, I have, but I´ve heard wonderful things about it!
Max:
You really must go in the spring. It´s magnificent!
JT plays along for Paige´s sake and pretends to be worldly.
10. Int. Ice Rink. Evening.
The rink has been set up for the performance and the smallest of the kids are doing their part first. It goes without saying, that it´s completely blowing the lid off the cuteness scale! Joey and Caitlin are in the stands with Manny. She´s holding Julia, who finds it all very exciting.
11. Int. Backstage Area. Evening.
Craig is giving Angie, who´s in an adorable fairy outfit, a pep-talk.
Craig:
Are you nervous?
Angie:
A little bit.
Craig:
I get scared sometimes too, when I have to go on stage.
Angie:
You do?
Craig:
Yeah, but then I try to think of something nice. Try it.
She closes her eyes and tries to come up with something. She smiles to herself when she comes up with something and opens her eyes.
Angie:
I know what to think of, I think.
Craig:
What is it?
Angie:
It was an evening, while you were away, where I beat Manny and JT at "Monopoly".
Craig:
That´s nice. Wasn´t Joey and Caitlin playing?
Angie:
No, they were at a party. We had pizza too!
Craig starts to look a little suspicious.
Craig:
It was just the two of them babysitting you?
Angie:
Me and Julia.
Craig:
Of course. Have they been hanging out a lot, while I´ve been gone?
Angie:
He´s pretty much been over at the house every day. They´re really good friends!
Craig:
Do you like him?
Angie:
He´s fun to play with! Julia thinks so too!
Craig:
I bet, he is.
She´s looking enthusiastic about her performance and he doesn´t want to ruin it for her, so he just smiles it off.
12. Int. Ice Rink. Evening.
Craig joins the others in the stands and sits down next to Manny. She smiles at him, but her smile fades, when she sees JT and Paige taking a seat next to one another. Craig notices it and it sends his suspicions into overdrive. He´s snapped out of it however, as the show starts and the older kids, that Angie now belongs with, come skating out of the ice. Paige and JT are clearly enjoying each other´s company and it´s eating Manny up inside. To say that it´s hard for her to keep a straight face and looking away from them is hard for her would be an understatement of epic proportions and Craig is witnessing all of it first hand. Try as she might, she just isn´t a good enough actress to pull this one off. It makes it hard for him to concentrate on the performance, but he tries his best for Angie and Julia´s sake.
13. Int. Craig and Manny´s House. Evening.
Angie is the belle of the ball after her performance and is being celebrated, to her joy.
Manny:
Do you want to be a trainer someday, like I was?
Angie:
I haven´t thought about it.
Caitlin:
Why stop there? You´re so good, that you could go to the Olympics!
Angie giggles.
Joey:
Am I the only one, who thinks that since she did so good, she should get to open one of her presents early?
Angie:
I like that idea!
Craig:
All in favor?
Everyone raises their hand, including Angie, who also raises Julia´s for good measure.
Joey:
It´s settled.
Angie:
Any present I want?
Caitlin:
Your choice.
Angie excitedly gets a present from under the tree. It´s (of course, you might say) the biggest of them. She quickly unwraps it and it´s a child size guitar.
Craig:
It´s from me and Manny.
Angie:
Can you teach me how to play?
Craig:
I´d be glad to.
Angie:
Play something for me, so I can see that it works.
Craig:
Okay. Give it here.
She gets it out of the box and hands it to him. It looks very small in his hands, but it is playable. He quickly tunes it and plays a few chords.
Craig:
I think, there´s only one song fitting for this occasion.
He starts playing "Angie" by The Rolling Stones, as Angie watches his fingers intently like a sponge, that´s already starting to pick things up.
Craig (singing):
Angie, Angie
When will those clouds all disappear?
Angie, Angie
Where will it lead us from here?

He looks Manny in the eyes, as he sings the last line and it seems to almost penetrate her soul.
14. Int. Craig and Manny´s Room. Evening.
Manny is under the covers, as Craig is undressing for bed.
Manny:
That was a nice Christmas.
Craig:
Angie loved it, that´s for sure!
Manny:
I might be in the mood tonight, if you are?
Craig:
First tell me, what´s going on with you and JT.
Manny tries to play it off by looking confused.
Manny:
Me and JT? What would be going on with me and JT?
Craig:
I saw the way you looked at him and Paige tonight.
Manny:
So? You know, I´ve never been a fan of hers!
Craig:
The way you looked at her wasn´t hate. I know that look from my dad. You looked at her with jealousy.
Manny:
That doesn´t mean anything.
Craig:
Don´t lie to me, Manny. I deserve better, after everything we´ve gone through.
Manny sees that the jig is up and it´s showtime. She takes a deep breath and looks him in the eyes. She doesn´t need to say a word for him to get the message and he looks shocked. She starts crying.
15. Ext. Street. Evening.
Paige and JT are saying goodnight after a nice day together.
JT:
You made my grandmother´s night, so I guess we´re even.
Paige:
It was my pleasure, which is how I would describe this whole day. One long pleasure trip!
JT:
Next Christmas I´ll probably be left wishing, you were still here.
Paige:
I´m not gonna forget about you! That would never happen!
JT:
Good, because you´re kind of memorable too.
Paige:
Look, whoever that girl is ... to hell with it! I know that it´s Manny, okay? I mean, for Pete´s sake, who else would it be?
JT:
It could be Liberty or Emma.
Paige:
Not in this lifetime! Can´t you see, she´s playing you for a fool?
JT:
I don´t know about that.
Paige:
You´ve put her on pedestal as an angel, who can´t do anything wrong, but she´s human like the rest of us. Sometimes we make selfish decisions and don´t consider the consequences. Even if you don´t want to be with me, there´s still better girls out there. Ones, who wouldn´t dream of playing with your heart, like she does.
She gives him a hug, as he thinks about it.
Paige:
Merry Christmas, JT. Think about what I said.
JT:
Merry Christmas, Paige.
She smiles sadly at him and leaves him to his thoughts.
16. Int. Craig and Manny´s House. Morning.
Manny has a small suitcase and is hugging Angie goodbye. Angie looks sad.
CAPTION:
DECEMBER 25TH
Angie:
Why do you have to leave? I love having you here!
Manny:
I love being here too, but it´s for the best right now. Hopefully, it won´t be for too long.
Joey:
Do you want a ride over to Emma´s?
Manny:
No thanks. I was thinking about making a stop at my parent´s house. Just to test the waters.
Caitlin:
Good luck.
Manny:
I´ll probably need it! Craig?
Craig just looks away and waves goodbye to her. She´s saddened by his reaction.
Manny:
Take care of Julia for me. I´ll be back to say hi to her in a few days, if that´s okay?
Joey:
Of course, it is. We´re not devils here, who´ll keep you from seeing your own daughter!
She forces a small smile for them as she opens the door and leaves. Joey looks concerned about Craig.
Joey:
Are you okay?
Craig:
I will be.
Angie:
Can you show me, how to play some chords?
Her innocence gets a smile out of him.
Craig:
Yeah, sure, Angie. I´ll have you playing like Mark Knopfler before the end of the day!
Angie:
Who?
Craig:
You´ll get a lesson in legendary guitar players too, free of charge! How do you like that offer?
Angie:
Sounds good.
Craig follows her into the living room. Joey and Caitlin hold each other and look concerned about the whole situation.
17. Ext. Street. Day.
Manny walks up to her childhood home, suitcase in hand. She knocks on the door and looks nervous. Her mom is the one who opens it and she´s one big smile at the sight of her daughter. Manny can´t stop herself from crying with joy either and the two of them embrace.
18. Int. Manny´s Parent´s House. Day.
Manny and her mom are having tea in the living room.
Manny´s Mom:
I´ve been so worried about you! Are they feeding you enough, where you live now?
Manny:
They did.
Manny´s Mom:
What do you mean did?
Manny:
I´m gonna live with Emma for a while. She´s already agreed to it.
Manny´s Mom:
What happened?
Manny:
The same thing that always happens. I messed it all up. I guess, dad was right about me.
Manny´s Mom:
No, he wasn´t and don´t you ever think that! I still haven´t forgiven him, for what he said to you!
Manny:
Does he ever talk about me?
Manny´s Mom:
It´s still too painful for him. You made his entire world come crashing down, when you stood up to him.
Manny:
Why am I like this, mom? It seems like everything I touch, I end up ruining or breaking.
Manny´s Mom:
He needed to hear the things, you told him. It´s just that no one had ever had the nerve to before. I couldn´t say it in front of him, but I was proud of you that day.
Her mom´s nice words cheer Manny up a little.
Manny´s Mom:
I never would have had the courage to stand up to my father, the way you did. You´re a strong young woman, Manuella. Believe in yourself.
Manny:
I don´t feel strong right now. How did you get through bad times?
Manny´s Mom:
My grandmother told me a simple truth, when I was a a child and it´s served me well over the years. She said "Better times always come along". This was from a woman, who survived the Japanese occupation in world war 2, so she´d seen her share of tough times.
Manny:
It´s that simple, huh?
Manny´s Mom:
Every problem has a solution. Follow your heart and it´ll steer you to the right one.
Manny takes in her mom´s sound advice.
19. Int. JT´s Room. Day.
JT and Toby are playing double player "Battletoads" (a game that´s infamous for being among the hardest ever, for those not in the know) for the hundreth time at least and are very concentrated on it.
Toby:
Have we gotten this far before?
JT:
Not to my knowledge.
Toby:
Oh, man. This is gonna be impossible!
JT:
Eyes on the prize!
They both "die" in quick order and look annoyed.
Toby:
After four years of trying to finish that game, I´m officially calling it! It is too hard to complete and we never will!
JT:
Like me and Manny, only that´s closer to seven years.
Toby:
Did you really do it with her?
JT:
It was awesome, just so you know!
Toby:
I can imagine. Hey, did she get on top? It´s my favorite, when Kendra does that.
Toby smiles, as JT looks impressed with him.
JT:
When did this happen?
Toby:
The day before yesterday. It was her "Christmas Present" for me.
JT:
This calls for a high five!
The two boys high five.
Toby:
I guess, we´re both officially men now. Do you feel like one?
JT:
Not really. You?
Toby:
I don´t feel any different either. It still has been a crazy first half of the school year, that´s for sure.
JT:
When we started I was still with Paige and you were in that weird place with Liberty. Manny was just a friend and Emma was pregnant.
Toby:
My sister still gave off the illusion of being straight. Liberty wasn´t dating a jock.
JT:
I wonder, what the next six months will bring,
Toby:
Probably more crazy things, no one could have predicted! Wanna play "Silver Surfer"?
JT:
The six hundreth time has to be the charm!
He gets to work putting the cartridge in. Toby is pleased to see that despite everything, he´s still the same old JT. JT´s cell phone starts ringing.
JT:
Can you toss that to me?
Toby:
Yeah, sure.
He tosses JT the phone and JT puts it to his ear after pressing the right key.
JT:
JT speaking. Oh, hi! I wasn´t sure, if I´d hear back from you.
Toby look on with interest, as JT listens.
JT:

Manny is using an old fashioned foot pedal to pump up an air mattress, while Emma watches her.
Manny:
People used to do this all the time, you say? It´s one heck of an training regimen! Whew!
Emma:
You don´t want to make it too hard, or it´ll feel like you´re sleeping on the floor. Test it.
Manny sits down on it and tests it.
Manny:
That should be fine.
Emma:
I´m sorry, I can´t offer you any better, but with now four adults or semi adults and a small child living here ...
Manny:
I´m just thankful that you and your folks will take me in. It´s either this old air mattress or the streets, so I´m more than thankful for the air mattress!
Emma:
How mad was he?
Manny:
I´m sure he would have been yelling, if it wouldn´t have woken up the entire house. I don´t know, if he´ll ever forgive me and that´s with me leaving out the worst parts.
Emma:
You can´t say, it comes as a surprise.
Manny:
I´m so ashamed of myself for what I did to both of them. For the life of me, I can´t tell you what I was thinking.
Emma:
It leaves the door open for you and JT.
Manny:
If he isn´t back together with Paige.
Emma:
My sixth sense is saying no. That chapter feels like it´s over and done with. You and JT however, feels like it´s just beginning.
Manny:
There´s only one way to find out, if he forgives me. Do you think, he will?
Emma:
It´s hard to say. I wouldn´t take you back, but then again, I´m not JT. What does your gut tell you?
Manny:
That we´ll find a way. No matter what, things are sure to get interesting, when we meet up again in January!
She smiles to herself and looks relieved that it´s over, as far as her life of lies is concerned.
