Alright, so it's now June 1, and we're back to the normal stuff, or are we? There will be some news about something, and that something will ignite a fire within two folks and they will make the mark, to take this person down. But is this the person who did the attacks? Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 271: Time for some firepower.
(June 1, Ketcham Park.)
Seems to be a common thing going on with the folks of Royal Woods here, and now we see Lincoln, Luna, Sam, Michelle and Delilah at the park and enjoying this peace and quiet, and also some fun as they all enjoy their picnic.
Delilah then asks. "So, June 3 is when we go and see the whole graduation thing, right?"
Luna nods. "Yeah, the band with Sam and I are gonna be performing with the High School marching band. We're gonna be the tunes, the jams and the march to the graduating drums."
They all chuckle to this. "But, we're mostly looking forward to those who graduate, and one of them is Carol. She has been a good friend and ally to us, and she's going to be someone she's planned for when she gets to Fairway University" said Sam.
"Sure wish Lori was gonna be part of it, everyone always thought she would make her mark through that college" said Lincoln. They all feel bad for Lori, something she wanted to do, and now she's at the Royal Woods Juvenile Hall.
"But, she has her own choices and she plans to continue some more class time, for summer. Sure is nice of her to be committed to that stuff." That one they all agree on.
"Well, not for Delilah" said Michelle. "Because I am so proud of how you keep adjusting and taking in extra credit so you could avoid summer school. "You really do have amazing smarts, and I… We, are so proud of you." Michelle then hugs her daughter and kisses her cheek.
Delilah chuckles from the affection her mom is giving her. "Thanks mom, I wanna spend my summer with my family, and we're all gonna have so much… What are they doing here?"
They spot detectives Merris and StoneHeart headed towards them, and the way they walk seems urgent and this makes them all stand up. "Dudes, what the heck is going on?" asked Luna.
"We found out who's been leading the attacks on Lincoln" said StoneHeart.
This surprises them and makes Lincoln hide behind Luna. "Who did this?" asked Luna.
"Some guy named, Charles Dean G. Uest. We only know that he is in charge of tons of illegal tourist actions across the country, and this might be revenge from what happened last year" replied Merris.
"We found his hideout, he's been within Saginaw the whole time" said StoneHeart. "At an old factory located somewhere at the outskirts of Great Lakes City. We have our forces headed there and even the FutureTech forces are inbound, you guys want in?"
They all begin to clean up the picnic and even Lincoln helps out and then they look to the cops.
"We're so in on this!" said Sam. The detectives nod and they follow them back to their rides. "So, we take them alive?"
"Turns out, this man has been responsible for so many other dreaded actions with the fake tourists stuff, such as helping drug smugglers and kidnapping folks" said StoneHeart. "The option for everyone has been given, dead or alive. It doesn't matter."
"This person is as dark as any know terrorist who wants to strike fear into everything, and it also turns out he was planning on something else, at Canada" said Merris.
Lincoln then asks. "How did you guys know it was this man?"
They make it to their rides and then drive off and escorted by cop cars and they overhear the detectives on their radio in the car.
StoneHeart. "We picked up some folks who were planning to come into Royal Woods using a modified armored van, and they seemed to have the intentions of going all-in and kill on site, they're target was Lincoln and we managed to capture them, and two were shot."
Merris. "We got them to talk, and Harriet did that one. So, we traced down everything and then we got the coordinates, and we need to get there and stop this man before he can make a run for it."
Lincoln and Sam look to Luna who is picking up speed and she looks angry. "This son of a bitch is gonna die for what he tried to do!"
(Somewhere within the outskirts of Great Lakes City.)
A lot of cop cars have arrived and they're taking heavy fire from a lot of men wearing ski masks and with guns and these guns seem to be in the military category and they are shooting like deadly demons, but then some backup arrives.
That backup comes in the form of three FutureTech Goliath Walkers, along with some Tanks in the mix, and then the purple Ferrari of Luna, along with the Red Ferrari of Michelle arrives, and they take cover behind a Guardian Tank and see the action unfold.
Luna then has her gun ready, and then she looks to her son. "Linc, stay here and don't move. We got this and…"
"No!" Lincoln then hugs her. "I don't want you to do this alone, mom. I wanna help, please. This man… He sent so many people to hurt us, he sent so many to ruin us and I am not gonna let this scumbag walk out and do more damage. I don't want him around, he's done so many wrong. Let me help you."
"Same here!" They look towards Delilah, and she looks as angry as Lincoln. "He wanted to ruin the family, to hurt us all and I am not gonna let Linc do this alone, or any of you do this alone. He was responsible for making Lincoln forget, and he will pay for what he did."
They knew that they couldn't stop them. Luna sighs. "Alright, but we need to make sure you kids can be…" She then sees the Goliath walk by them. She then has an idea and looks to Delilah. "Can you figure out how to control something with two legs?"
Delilah nods. "As easy as it might…. Oh, I get it!" She looks to the Goliath walker.
Luna smiles and looks to Michelle. She has a gun too. "I think that's a good idea" said Michelle. "But we don't know if…"
"Gotcha covered!" They see a dropship arrive and it drops what looks like a Goliath, but bigger and a bit more modified. The dropship transforms into Jack Cyber. "This is a Spartan-Class Goliath, so man that thing and help out."
Jack Cyber turns his right arm into a sniper rifle and he shoots three of the henchmen. "This is gonna be so fun for me, I haven't had a shootout since the last time we ran into trouble!"
Lincoln and Delilah look to the Goliath and then walk towards it, but then Luna hugs Lincoln. "Stay safe, and don't get hurt."
Lincoln returns the embrace. "Mom, we're gonna be fine. We just need to focus on ending this dirt bag for what he did and everything will be back to normal, as the family we have now."
They depart from the hug and Luna kisses his forehead. "We'll be with you, kiddo." She gets up and goes with Sam and Michelle and they get into a vehicle granted to them, a Grinder. Lincoln and Delilah go into the Goliath and they see what they can operate to make sure they got it right.
(Inside.)
The man with blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a black suit and pants with shoes is packing up everything. "Damn it, damn it! I need to get out of here and…" Then the wall next to him is destroyed by the large front grinders of the Tank and the hatch opens with smoke grenades.
The other guys inside the location are shot at by StoneHeart and Merris with two cops and they engage the other henchmen. Then Luna, Sam and Michelle come out and also shoot them. "Where is he?!" They then see the back door open and it leads to stairs.
"Oh hell no!" Luna goes to the stairs and so does Sam and Michelle.
They make it to the roof and they spot the man trying to escape with some kind of escape pod. Sam throws a grenade and it blows up the pod. "Where the heck are you going, you dumbass?!"
The man turns around and he has a rifle with him. "Fuck to the rest of you! I am leaving this place and then continuing what I do best, and you are not stopping me!"
Luna growls. "One thing, what the hell is your problem with my son?!"
The man smirks. "Your kid is nothing to me, and I sure to hell don't give a shit if he dies. He's the sole reason why the fake tourism was caught and taken down, and I wanted him dead. So screw you and you're son, what matters is that he's gone and we win!"
Luna then backs off. "Is that what you think?" She then takes cover and so does Michelle and Sam.
The man is confused and he feels the ground shake and he turns around and sees a two-legged walker with guns and rockets now behind him and he can see Lincoln and Delilah inside. "This is for trying to kill us!" Lincoln pulls the trigger and the Goliath sends a hailstorm of bullets.
Charles tries to run, but his right leg has been mutilated from the bullet barrage, that he falls to the ground and screams in pain. Then the Goliath takes on step forward and slams its foot onto his other leg.
Then the mech stops shooting, and then Luna comes out from hiding and she throws her gun to the man's face and he's knocked to the side of the pipes that are super-hot.
Luna then kicks him in the side and then she begins to punch him repeatedly. "This is for trying to kill my son!" She then grabs his hair and then slams him to the side of the pipes and then she presses his face onto the hot surface and he screams in pain.
Then Luna tosses the man and then she kicks the bag away and inside of it was tons of cash, and she grabs the man rifle and she begins to shoot at his arms. "This is how I killed your first hired dumbass man, named fucking Jak!"
She then shoves the rifle to where his manhood is and she opens fire and this makes him scream in pain and he bleeds out from underneath. Then Luna grabs the man by his collar. "You're gonna pay for what you did to us!"
The man coughs up blood and snickers. "Fuck you, bitch!"
This enrages Luna and she sees Michelle and Sam grab two steel rods, and so she tosses the man into the air and they throw the rods and they impale through the man's eye sockets and through his brain.
The corpse lands back down to the ground and the cops show up and see the man is now gone, and they go over and check if the others are doing alright.
Lincoln gets out of the Goliath and races towards his mom, Luna sees this and she opens her arms and hugs her son and they both shed some tears. "It's over, it's over now, Lincoln. The trouble is gone, we're safe now."
Lincoln continues to hug her and cry, and Luna does what she can to comfort him. The others also sigh in relief, and they see Harriet with three goons who are pale white and passed out, she scared the daylights out of them.
Now, they can all rest easy knowing that the trouble from months ago is gone, or is it?
