The time has come, the time to head onto the summer rock tour, and they're prepared for whatever Crest has for them and that she's not in control, but they don't know that things will get bad as it all goes down. Let the first day, begin. Enjoy reading this everyone.
Family of Two. Chapter 282: Day 1 of the Tour.
(The Loud House, early morning.)
We now go to the house of where the louds are, and right now all of them have their stuff packed up and ready for the long trip, and amongst them are Sully, Mazzy, Sam and Chunk. They help load the gear onto the tour bus that Michelle requested from FutureTech.
The bus looks like any other ordinary tour bus, but this thing has some heavy duty security to make sure nothing bad happens, advanced sensors, and weapons well-hidden within the vehicle. Cameras keeping track of anything around it, and is linked with FutureTech's long range satellites.
Michelle comes out of the house, and she has the last remaining stuff from herself and her daughter, Delilah. "Well, she looks like a beauty. You guys like the wheels?"
Chunk chuckles. "Right as rain there, luv. This here ride makes any other tour bus look like they can't handle the rev and ride, also dig the custom colored seats on the driver's seat. You know how to pimp a ride to suit the crew."
Michelle chuckles. "Thanks, I did what I could to make sure this tour bus was truly meant to speak the band and also work for the driver and that would be you. But know this, if you need some sleep, then don't worry this big girl has an auto-pilot system to drive along with the tour, so you can rest it easy when you need some sleep."
Chunk nods. "Now that sounds like darn right spot on plan, also where the heck are Lunes and Linc at?"
Sam looks around and she sees them. "There they are." They spot them talking to Leni and Luan.
"You guys are gonna be fine, and we'll also help out with the old house, well new house that you guys live in" said Leni.
"We might be a bit nervous about doing the whole thing of being in the old house, but we'll manage and do what we can" said Luan. She then hugs Lincoln. "Just be safe you guys."
Lincoln smiles as he returns the embrace. "We're gonna be fine. We have the tour bus and the rules that Katie Crest can't be able to counter or she'll lose the band. So, we got this covered. Don't worry guys."
Luna then joins in this hug, they then depart from the hug. "I got this dudes, Linc will be fine and no one else can cause anything bad to the whole tour. Crest is not my boss, I'm the leader of the band and I got my duties to taking care of what goes on and one of them is this little dude."
Lincoln chuckles. "This is gonna be something…." Then they hear some vehicles honk, and they spot three tour buses and two semi-trucks with long trailers. "And looks like, wait a minute. Why do they need three tour buses for?"
"No clue, come on." Luna and Lincoln cross the road and go to see what's going on.
The bus leading the whole convoy opens and coming out is Katie Crest, the second bus opens and coming out is Mick Swagger, but no one comes out of the third bus.
The woman removes her shades and looks to the tour bus, and this tour bus has the images of the band, and she smiles. "Wow. Nice tour bus, must've took a lot of stuff to…."
"My mom got the bus, so you gotta pay your respects to her" said Delilah as she has her backpack. Michelle smirks and looks to Crest with a smug look.
Katie Crest sighs in annoyance, and she sees Luna and Lincoln. "Alright, so you all ready for the tour to start? We got our first one located in Hillsdale, which is near the border of Michigan itself and that would mean our tour would soon come towards Ohio."
Luna then asks. "What the heck is with the triple threat bus dude?"
Mick Swagger answers that one. "Simple, luv. One bus is for Crest, second one is for me and my band mates, and then we have the third bus for the roadies who're helping out with the gear and setup, and they can help you lot with…."
"We can handle our own gear, Mr. Swagger" replied Chunk. "We don't want anyone else trying to make some bad choices with the stuff we're using. So, keep your roadies and their hands to themselves and there won't be any sort of trouble."
"Well, alrighty then mate" replied Mick Swagger. "But, should yo lot need some…."
"We got this covered. So please, back off and let us do our own thing" said Michelle.
Mick Swagger smirks. "Well, alright then, Ms. Lewis." He then walks into his bus, but not without winking to her, and this makes Michelle and Delilah feel annoyed.
Both of them saying. "I don't like the feeling about him." The duo then hop into the bus with Sully and Mazzy, and Chunk starts the bus and likes the sound of the vehicle purring.
Lincoln and Luna go over to Harriet. "We're gonna be fine, and Delilah still has the spell book just in case" said Luna. "We're more concerned about you."
Harriet smirks. "Showing care to the specter of the house is nice to know, and I know you'll all be fine. Now, get in that bus, and show the rest of the country what you can all do, and be careful and have fun. Also, I have this bad feeling that Crest is gonna do something, and Mick Swagger might be caught in the middle of it."
Luna nods. "I get what you're laying down, great grandma. But we know what we're doing, and if they do something, then it'll be as personal as any other trouble we fought. She has no control over us."
Lincoln also agrees. "We have the rules and there's no way she would risk breaking them. Because we have a plan on what happens when we take our leave from the tour, something to truly make the fans wake up and smell the truth."
Harriet smiles. "Brave as always, but more courage when combined." She then watches as Lincoln and Luna hop into the tour bus and so does Katie Crest in her own tour bus and the vehicle convoy drives off.
Then Leni and Luan stand next to Harriet. "You think they're gonna be fine?" asked Luan. Then Sandra Merris and Mr. Grouse also watch the vehicles leave.
"We can only hope they'll be fine, and no way would Luna fall for whatever stupid rock tour tricks they have. Sure it is her dream to be a rock n' roll legend on tour, but she would never risk her son in getting harmed. She's changed, and for the better too."
(Hillsdale, Michigan.)
The bus arrives to the location, along with the rest of the buses and the day has reached afternoon as they have been driving for some time, and they make it to the stadium: Hillsdale National Arena.
The bus's all stop and they begin to unload and the rest of the bands come out. Mick Swagger's band mates all head to the stadium, but they stop and see the fans by the fences cheering for them. So, they go over and sign some autographs, and they don't mind doing this.
Mick then notices the crowd is cheering louder when they see Luna, her band and the others come out. So he calls them out. "Hey, Lunes. Come over and sign some…"
"Not gonna happen, dude." Luna then helps grab the gear, and Lincoln helps with the guitars they need, and then Chunk and Michelle and Delilah with the speakers.
Katie Crest notices this, and she sighs. 'And I thought the sight if the fans would make her fall in line. But I guess the rest of the plans will have to do, and my associate too.' She then looks to one of the roadies in a black hoodie an red cap and he nods to her and she nods back.
Katie Crest then walks to the stadium and she sees Luna, Sam, Lincoln and the rest of the band and they're talking to the stage manager on where they can set up, and they plan to setup away from Mick's band so they don't go too wild.
Katie Crest then goes towards them, and Mazzy notices this. "Guys, killjoy." They all notice her and Katie smirks.
"Yeah, okay thanks for the nickname. Now, I assume you're all ready and I have a song that you could all perform, and alongside Mick Swagger, the best way to perform is when both bands are on stage and rocking it out. So…"
"No." Luna crosses her arms. "We'll start first, and Michelle and Delilah are gonna perform with us along with Lincoln, and it's gonna be the same song we performed during the whole Royal Woods music spring festival, and that's that. Any issues with that one?"
Sam then stands with them. "We talked about this on the bus and we all came to an agreement." The rest also stand with them and look to Katie Crest sternly.
Katie Crest is about to speak, but then Mick Swagger gets involved. "Now that does sound like an amazing thing, and to truly wow the crowd and then we can perform alongside on stage, you recall the songs I've performed?"
Luna nods. "Yeah, still do and haven't gotten over all of them. But still with the priority of the band I got and the songs we made, so we can perform together when we finish the first act."
Then Mick asks. "Will the lovely, Michelle Lewis be still on stage to perform?" Michelle is confused and backs away.
"Heck no" said Delilah. "We're just gonna perform the start of the whole concert, and that's it. We'll be watching from the sidelines as this happens." She then hands Luna the necklace Linc gave her and Luna ties it to her guitar.
Katie Crest notices this and has a plan. 'So, that's what's keeping her from becoming my own rock star and ticket to fame? Interesting.' She then intervenes in the conversation. "Very well then, the opening act is Luna and her band, and then the rest can head back to the back of the stage and Mick along with the Luna-Tics can perform alongside together."
The bands agree and they go to their gear and get ready. Katie Crest then walks away from this and checks her list of the plan. 'Okay, so Luna signing autographs to the fans is a no go, and hasn't worked. Well, time for plan B and I hope this does work.'
(Later.)
Night has fallen and we see the whole stadium is packed with people, and though they are there to watch Mick Swagger and his band perform, they're mostly there for the band from Royal Woods.
Luna and the rest of her band get ready and she looks to her son who has his guitar ready. "You ready for this, kiddo?"
Lincoln nods. "As ready as I'll ever be. This is gonna be beyond rockin' and rollin'. This is about family, and that's all that matters."
Sam then goes to her bass, and Michelle and Delilah along with Sully onto the keyboards and bass, and then Mazzy to her drums. "We're ready for the whole thing guys" said Sam. "Let's rock this joint like there's no tomorrow. Our way."
Luna loved hearing that, and she looks to the stage manager and nods, and soon the band is lowered up to the stage and the crowd all cheers seeing them. Lincoln is surprised by the crowd. "This may be bigger than the ones at Royal Woods, but we can handle this."
"Then let's say La-Da-Dee, dudes" said Luna. They soon begin the opening of the concert and the whole crowd cheers and sings with them.
Katie Crest and Mick Swagger watches this goes on, and Mick enjoys hearing this song from the band, Katie Crest on the other hand is less than amused. 'At least the crowd loves them, and that kid who can sing… Which surprised me, and I thought he had no talent at all.'
Then she sees her associate watching this, and she sends him a message to stand down and back off, and so he does. 'Not yet. Not yet, when the time comes, or when the other plans don't work. Then Doug can handle the rest. Besides, this summer rock country tour has just begun.'

A/N: The first concert of the tour, and they're already showing signs of not partaking in whatever Crest and Swagger have, and the whole thing is just beginning, and the trouble will be on its way as well.
