Now we proceed with the next day for them on tour, and some calm and peaceful moments for them as they begin their time on the bus before the whole tour begins, and the plan Michelle has to make if she wants to know the truth behind the attacks. Enjoy reading this chapter everyone.
Family of Two. Chapter 283: Day 2 and some talk.
(Somewhere down the road in Ohio.)
We now go to the convoy of vehicles that form the tour of the summer rock concerts, and the lead bus is where Katie Crest is and she's still planning something before they make it to the next concert, and the second bus is where Mick Swagger and his band are relaxing and talking about their next song to perform alongside Luna and her band.
The third bus is where the roadies are, and all of them talking how awesome it is to be part of this tour, though they do question why they cannot be allowed to haul the gear that the other band is using and why they aren't using the gear that the tour has.
And then we have the last bus following, and that's the bus with the band from Royal Woods, along with Lincoln, Delilah, Michelle and Chunk driving.
They all talk to each other about the whole tour. "Alright, so the songs we gotta perform. From what Katie Crest told me, she wants us to perform the songs we have, and that would be after we setup the opening act as the family group, right?" asked Luna.
They all nod, then Sam recalls the one song they made. "We could perform Play It Loud, and then the songs what everybody wants. Though it does sound like some kind of cheesy bubblegum pop song, it still sounds cool, right?"
Luna recalls, she did make that song while they were preparing weeks ago before the tour. "Now that sounds pretty rad, dude. We can setup that song for tonight's concert, and the next one for tomorrow, and I guess we got the meeting on the songs covered."
"Now we can deal with another thing, Katie Crest" said Michelle. "We still know little on what she plans, but a part of us can tell that her motives are way too obvious."
They all nod and agree, and then Mazzy speaks. "She wants to take advantage of us being an awesome band, and also overrun Mick Swagger and make him look like old news, and then take us on tour for as long as she pleased and gain her own motive of being rich and famous."
Sully then speaks. "Even though we have no proof of the whole thing, it still makes sense. Michelle here knows more about Crest than anyone, and that was back when she was with Doug as partners." then he realizes what he just said. "Umm, sorry. No offense."
Michelle chuckles. "None taken, and I know her well, and that she is hiding something. We need to be cautious, who knows what she could do to us on tour, and bringing harm to Lincoln is not in her agenda."
"She's not wrong" said Delilah. "Linc getting hurt would result in Luna bailing out, and the tour ruined."
Lincoln also sees that they're right. "Not wrong, Crest wants the band to do what she says and she can't have the whole band if they bail out, but chances the whole band is not what she wants. From the way she looks towards mom, she wants her instead and I am not gonna let that fly."
Luna smiles at the courage her son is showing and she pulls him close to her. "Love that spark of fire kiddo, but I assure you dudes that I will not fall to her bewitching ways, and we have the book from Harriet, Delilah can put that to good use."
Delilah nods. "One of them is summoning Harriet herself into the whole thing, and thus ending Crest's reign over us. But the one thing we need is proof, proof of what she's doing is making things bad. How the heck do we do that?"
Chunk then speaks while driving. "I think I gots the big gig on that one, mates. Now, Crest is a top notch business lady who would do whatever she can to hide her tracks, but not all the time. She might have some records of what she did inside of a notebook of some sort."
"Chances that it's inside of a tablet too, and if something does go bad, then she could easily have it removed from her files to avoid getting into trouble. All we needs to do is get to her tour bus, check if there's anyone else there and see what she has planned. Which will be even harder to manage."
"Chunk is not wrong" said Sam. "Though the plan to go through Crest's Tour bus is a good one, she might not be able to leave it alone for too long and we'd be in serious trouble. We need a new plan for that one."
Michelle and Delilah think of one. "We can settle with that when we make it, and then we can setup whatever plan we got. A lot to think about though" said Delilah.
"Alright, so this meeting is adjourned" said Luna. They all go back to what they were doing earlier.
Sully and Mazzy go to where they keep the gear and check on them, while Delilah and Michelle go to the back of the bus and begin to plan out what they have in store to see what Crest is hiding. Lincoln, Luna and Sam remain at their seat and look out the window.
They pass by some farms and see a town far from where they're driving. Luna then pulls Lincoln close to her. "Whatever happens kiddo, Crest is not gonna do anything to make me her puppet."
Lincoln sighs. "I know, and that's the one thing I don't wanna see anymore. You becoming the Luna Loud from before, the very same Luna Loud who didn't care much about anything and only wanted her dream to come true. I don't want you to fall back on the old and competitive blood line."
Luna then hugs Lincoln and does what she can to calm him down and reassure him. "Linc, that's not gonna fall onto me. I have a way to stay on track and channel the old Luna Loud away, and let in the new Luna who you know as your mom."
"Lincoln, the past is the past and there's no way I am gonna let it take me over. Crest might be up to no good to make me obedient to her, but I ain't gonna be riding no coat tail to her dumb tours and manipulative ways. She has no control of me, I am my own person and I am your mom."
Lincoln smiles and he hugs her and kisses her cheek. "Thanks, mom. I needed that."
Luna returns the embrace and kisses his cheek. "I wouldn't let anything bad happen, kiddo. I love ya Linc."
Sam smiles seeing this and she too joins in on the embrace from the duo. They all have to be careful still, who knows what Katie Crest has planned for tonight's concert.
(Columbus, Ohio.)
They have arrived to the nationwide arena, and they look around and see just how lovely the arena looks on the outside. "Dang, now this is gonna be awesome!" said Sully. He then helps Chunk with the gear.
Luna and Lincoln help with the rest of the stuff, then some of the roadies go towards them and lends them some help, but then Sam intervenes. "As much as it would be nice for the help, we can't trust anyone under the guise from Crest. So back off."
The roadies shrug this off and go on with what they do, and one of the roadie's growls at this and walks away with his hoodie still hiding him. 'Stupid teen. How the heck am I gonna get my revenge now?!'
Katie Crest notices this and shows a scowl onto one of her roadies, and the man stays silent and does what she says. 'We're not ready for you to make the attack, Rockwell. When the time is right, then you'll get what you want.'
Katie Crest then continues to look onward as the others from the other band are busy with their gear, and then Katie Crest spots Mick Swagger's band busy with their gear, and the roadies help handle that stuff, and Mick tosses Doug the guitars and he struggles with them.
Mick Swagger then walks towards Katie Crest. "So, we still good with the songs they plan to perform?"
"That depends, I have my own ideas on what they can do for the concert" said Katie Crest. She then sees Luna and Sam walk towards them.
"Dudes, we got the songs we plan to perform for tomorrow and today, and we know that we can't be able to tour the town itself with the fans going all-out." Luna looks to the main gate and they all see the fans all calling out to them for an autograph.
Mick Swagger chuckles. "Well, they wanna get to know the one and only Luna Loud, wouldn't hurt to sign in some autographs and all that."
Sam then explains. "Not gonna happen, the one thing we don't need is Lunes here going back to the rock n' roll dream that would make her into someone she's not and we're all in to make sure she maintains herself. Honestly, if she had never gone to that concert long ago, then she'd be fine."
"I was talented in music before, then I was put into the competitive side of life and made into someone as my other former sibs were, competitive louds" said Luna. "So, we know what songs we're gonna perform, and we'll stick with it after the opening act. Got it?"
Katie Crest really doesn't like this. "Very well then, see you on stage, Luna Loud."
Luna and Sam then walk back to the band and help out with the gear, and once again Luna tells the other roadies to back off and leave them be.
Mick Swagger then looks to Katie Crest. "Let's leave them be, luv. They got their own style and I got mine, and I guess she is kinda right. Perhaps if she never did went to my concert, then she would've still been someone talented." He then walks towards the stadium.
Katie Crest on the other hand doesn't like this at all. 'Damn it! Now I gotta make sure the rest of the band don't intervene with my plans. But how the heck do I do that with them being around her almost all the time. I need to make sure she's alone so that I can reason with her.'
But then one of the fans from the other side of the gate comes through and races towards the band. Luna Loud sees this and she steps to the side and this makes the fan trip.
Then security come and take the man away, and then the guy breaks free and tries to go for Lincoln, but only to be tazed by Luna, she got some weapons with her just to be safe and the man is stunned and dragged away.
The fans stop and back away from this and see the shotgun mother glare from Luna, and it scares them.
Luna then goes over and checks if Lincoln is fine and then they continue on with bringing the gear into the stadium for the next concert.
Katie Crest then sees that her plan has gotten harder to enact. 'She brought her taser with her! Did she bring her gun too?! Damn it. Now how the hell do I make this plan work?'
She then thinks of some way. 'Perhaps some other help could work, some outside help who is willing to show that they are a true fan of Luna Loud, and would possibly make her see the bigger picture of what I want. Then she'll have to forget about that damned kid and the others.'
Katie Crest then walks back to her tour bus, to make some calls. But she fails to notice Michelle Lewis looking towards her going to the bus. 'She's up to something. Gotta be sure nothing else goes wrong on this damned tour.'
Day 2 to the summer rock tour. A/N: Day 2, and they're first meeting as they make their mark onto the concert in Ohio. Katie Crest is up to something, and it will be shown when the next chapter is posted, but will it work on Luna Loud? Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
