Daisy was sitting at one end of the common room couch when Mack and Director Coulson walked into the room.

Which wouldn't have been all that newsworthy, if it wasn't also for the fact that Fitz was sitting sideways on the couch up against her legs, his own legs stretched out across the length of the couch, upper body leaning into Daisy's stomach and head nestled against her breasts like a pillow, Daisy's arm wrapped loosely around his shoulder holding him to her, both of them sound asleep. Of course, that alone wouldn't have bothered Coulson and Mack so much either, if it wasn't for final fact that Fitz was dating a girl who noticeably wasn't the girl he was currently sleeping on.

After staring at the scene in front of them for several long seconds, Mack turned to Coulson and asked in a whisper, "Should we tell Simmons?"

"Tell me what?" came a whisper from Coulson's other side, Simmons' head suddenly popping out from behind his shoulder, looking at them with innocent curiosity.

After jumping slightly in surprise, not having realized she'd come up behind them, Mack pointed at the couch and the two agents sleeping there, not needing to say anything — the scene pretty much explained itself.

Except it apparently didn't.

"Fitz and Daisy asleep — not sure why telling me or not is really an issue," said Simmons after glancing over at them. "I wasn't particularly looking for either of them at the moment. Well, actually I was curious what they were up to, but neither of you could have known that to wonder if you should tell me."

"But — your boyfriend's sleeping on another girl!" exclaimed Mack, just barely remembering to keep his voice at a whisper.

"Ohhhh…" replied Simmons, finally realizing why this seemed to be such a big deal to Mack and Director Coulson. "That's right. We've never told anyone."

"Told anyone what?" asked Coulson in confusion and slight worry. "You and Fitz didn't break up, did you? I thought I just saw the two of you kiss a day or two ago at lunch when Fitz left the kitchen before you."

"Oh, no, no! Nothing like that!" laughed Simmons. "No, Fitz and I are still together. What we never told anyone, is that we started dating Daisy as well. Well, not exactly 'as well', that makes it sound like we're each dating Daisy as well as dating each other. No, Fitz and I together, FitzSimmons if you will, are dating Daisy. Or to put it in other words, Daisy is dating FitzSimmons, if that makes any more sense."

"I don't think there's any way of saying that that's going to make a whole lot of sense," said Mack, shaking his head.

But Coulson said, "You're all three in a single relationship together, is what you're saying."

"More or less," answered Simmons. "We are all three in a relationship together, but Fitz and I's original relationship is still there on its own as well, happily progressing towards marriage, while we don't yet really know for sure where our relationship with Daisy is going. It may end up in marriage as well, I know we'd all like that, but if it does, the way things look at the moment at least, Fitz and I will still get married to each other first, and then at some later point we will all three get married."

By this point, since Simmons hadn't been bothering to keep her voice at a whisper, Fitz and Daisy had started to stir.

Seeing this, Simmons said to them, "Wake up, sleepyheads. We have company."

Daisy blearily blinked open her eyes, and looked across the room at where her girlfriend was standing next to Coulson and Mack.

"Huh?" she said eloquently.

"Our secret's out," said Simmons. "At least to Director Coulson and Mack. They saw you two sleeping on the couch together, and thought Fitz was cheating on me. So I had to explain that it's perfectly alright that Fitz is sleeping on you and using your breasts as a pillow, because you're our girlfriend."

"Oh. Good," said Daisy nodding slightly, seemingly only taking in about half of what Simmons was saying, before she turned to look at Coulson and said though a yawn, "AC's not throwing us in timeout because Shield agents aren't supposed to date each other, is he? Section 17 or whatever it's called?"

Coulson rolled his eyes at his second-in-command's way of wording her question. "I trust you three to know what you're doing, and will still be friends and still be able to work together if this doesn't work out."

"It'll work," came Fitz's sleepy, mumbled, and heavily Scottish because of it voice. "I like these boobs. Very soft. They're mine now, not letting go."

As Daisy chuckled and stroked his hair, Simmons rolled her eyes at them before saying to Coulson, "We're still going on strong at three months, and I don't think it becoming public, or semi-public at least, is going to make any difference. We've known from the start that we would have a lot of people question it once it got out, but we don't care. We love each other, and that's all that matters to us — though keeping our jobs is nice, too," she finished slightly teasingly.

"Well, I don't think I would consider it 'going public' just yet," replied Coulson with a smile. "I know — Mack knows, which means Yo-Yo will find out soon — and as likely as not, May's known since you started and has just been silently judging you without saying anything this whole time — but that's all the people who currently know, and I for one am not going to be telling anyone. This if for you three to reveal whenever you choose."

"Speaking of which, if we get married in a small, private ceremony with just the team, do we have to announce it to the wider, low-level Shield population once we're married, or can we be secretly married the same as we're secretly dating?" asked Daisy from the couch.

"We'll talk about it later, girlfriend," answered Simmons, before turning to Mack and saying, "Thank you for wondering if you should tell me, and if you ever see either of them with anyone else please do tell me, or if you see me with anyone else tell them, but this time Fitz and Daisy are all in the clear."
