This one is where the band all talk about either going to the party on Saturday or not, but they might not like what could happen when the whole thing does go on, and a song that Lincoln wants to perform with his mom for the concert, that's gonna make the whole city cheer with glee! Family of Two. Chapter 287: Day 6 and in the Big Apple.

(New York City.)

They did it, the tour has arrived to good old New York City, and right now the gang in the tour bus are amazed by what they see. The lights, the sounds and the smell of good food, and their stuck in traffic. Ah, classic New York City, am I right?

"Dudes, this place looks so wicked awesome!" said Sam. She then takes some pics of the tall buildings. "The sight of this place makes the other cities we have been through look so small! This is awesome!"

"No kidding, and I can smell the corn dogs from here" said Chunk. But then he opens the drawer of the bus. "Wait, never mind. That was the food I forgot to eat." He then grabs a corndog and eats it.

Mazzy looks out the window and sees the traffic ahead. "Dudes, what the heck is taking so long? Also, where are we gonna perform for the next concert?"

Michelle then checks the planner. "The next location is something Luna requested, guys we're gonna go to the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and from what information the place has, it's the world's largest cultural complex. 12 world-renowned independent resident companies make up the Lincoln Center."

"The place has had more than 350 live performances each year through six distinguished performance programs which bring music, opera, theater dance, puppetry circus and cultural expression from around the globe. Talk about one fancy place."

Lincoln then looks to his mom and smiles. "I could only guess why we're going to that place."

Luna chuckles. "Yeah, I thought it would be a wicked cool idea for us to go to someplace that also bears the name of the kid who's been with me through this tour, and also I think we should perform the song you have planned. The one that involves some other worldly backup, am I right kiddo?"

Lincoln smiles and he goes over and hugs her. "Thanks mom!" The others liked seeing this, the two acting like mother and son and there for each other. Then they hear Luna's phone go off.

Luna checks who it is and she looks annoyed. "Great, Katie Crest is calling. Let me put her on speaker." Luna does so and she places the phone onto the table.

Katie Crest. "Luna Loud, listen to me. Take another route and spend the rest of the day in the city. We're gonna be in traffic for a long while and luckily we're early, which is what I wanted so that we wouldn't have to be late through traffic."

"The concert won't start until the next four hours. We'll all meet at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts later. So, go out there and have fun with your band, and be careful about strangers in this city, and pick pockets. I should know, I've been dealing with those for a long time. We're gonna see what we can do to get this darn traffic moving." She then hangs up.

The band is shocked from what they heard. "Wow. Did not see this coming. Well, we should at least try to enjoy what we can here. So, let's go and do that stuff dudes!" said Luna. They all cheer. She then looks to Chunk. "Dude, get us the heck out of this traffic!"

Chunk nods. "Found the route, and the road to New York fun has just begun, mates! Hold on to your nickers!" He then maneuvers the bus through the new route he sees and they all drive through the city and take a look at the sights.

(Somewhere downtown.)

An hour has passed, and now we see Luna and Michelle walk back to the bus as it parks outside of a restaurant, and they bring the food in. "Here we go dudes, lunch is served" said Luna.

They all enjoy the delicious pastries that Luna and Michelle got for them, and the group are parked in front of the location called: Carlos Bakery.

"Well, this is one awesome way to spend the time in the city" said Sully. "We took a lot of pics, and also…. I don't think I can eat anymore." He then feels upset in the gut.

Mazzy sighs. "Dude, this is what you get for eating a lot of chili dog on the way here. I told you to wait, but did you listen to me?"

Delilah then enjoys the cannoli and then she looks out the window. "Dang, would be nice to walk around and get to know more about the city. But the one thing we don't need, are hungry autograph fans, and other folks who might wanna get to us. This place is crawling with the unexpected."

"We get what you're laying down, dude" said Sam. She then eats the cupcake. "Sure would be nice to just be as normal as we can be and enjoy the sights and sounds, and I am shocked no fans have gotten to the bus, looks like the post we put on social media worked after all."

Michelle smirks. "The fans now see that messing with us is just comparing to the whole ordeal of the fake tourism and junk, and that would be a terrible mistake. This is just the start, and I do wonder what else might happen on this tour."

Luna nods, she then has some thoughts and she has to tell the others, but Michelle and Delilah already know. "Dudes, something happened the other day, and it kinda involved Mick Swagger."

This has them concerned. "Oh boy, what did he do?" asked Mazzy.

"Nothing bad, besides flirting with Michelle again" said Luna. They look to Michelle who is upset, and Delilah looks like she's ready to beat up someone. "Alright, so the dude made an offer to Michelle on having the rest of the band go over and celebrate with them on the one week party this Saturday."

They all remain silent. Sam doesn't seem keen on this. "Seriously? I mean, sure we don't like to be in some wild party, and even if we do partake in the whole thing, it might not be what we thought it would. This is Mick and his band we're talking about, they're grownups, we're not."

Lincoln then mentions. "Chunk and Michelle are grownups."

"Beside the point" said Delilah. "This is still an issue to deal with. Mick Swagger and his crew might not be so kind enough to be less of some party animals, and I recall noticing the bass player of the band kept looking towards Sam, and I don't like it, guys."

Luna growls. "Then we're gonna have a talk with Mick about that one." She then looks to the rest of the band. "So, are we all in the agreement of going to the party? Raise your hands if we should be part of the party."

Sully and Mazzy raise their hands, and so does Lincoln. "We could all use a break, and we're closing into one week and the whole thing is an amazing success. We need some fun and relaxation, but not too much wild all over the place"

Luna looks to Sam, Chunk, Michelle and Delilah who are still unsure, but then Michelle speaks. "Alright, if we are gonna be part of the party. I don't wanna have to face Mick Swagger, and we have to make sure the food and drinks are not gonna be bad for all of us."

"I had my fair share of some good drinks, but I try not to go too far as to lose my mind to a drunken state" said Chunk. "Plus, I plan to give it up too. Drinking alcohol too much nearly killed my uncle back home."

Delilah sighs. "If my mom says it could be fine, then I'm in too. I don't want her to be getting the flirt eye from that rockstar guy. Seriously, she's not interested in him."

Luna looks towards Sam. "Sammy, it's cool if you don't wanna be part of the whole thing."

Sam sighs. "No, I wanna be there. To be with my babe, and the kid we're supposed to look after. No way am I gonna let anything bad happen to Linc, we're both gonna be on the focus and with him. But the one thing I don't want, is that bass player who has an interest for me. He is freaking me out!"

Luna nods, she too hates the bass guy. "Alright then, Sam. We'll talk to Mick and Katie Crest about this when we get to the concert location." they all agree and they continue with their lunch, but Luna is concerned. 'If that guy touches Sam, I'll break his arms!'

(30 Lincoln Center Plz.)

The tour bus of the band has arrived, and an hour to spare too. They park the bus and they make their way out and get to the back to where they keep the gear and have it all moved into the place, and they see Katie Crest and Mick Swagger go towards them.

"Good to see ya all made it" said Mick Swagger. "We were getting worried back there, and were about to call for some folks to come and find you. So, how was the Big Apple?"

"Pretty awesome" said Lincoln. He then looks towards Luna and nods. Luna knows she has to tell Mick Swagger and Katie Crest about the whole agreement the band had. She then walks up to them.

"Dudes, we did some thinking and talked about it, and so we all agreed that we're all gonna be part of the celebration party tomorrow" said Luna.

Mick Swagger and Katie Crest are both surprised. "Wow. Did not see that coming" said Katie Crest. "Very well then, I'll be sure that we…"

"Hold it!" The duo see Michelle and the others go towards them. "We have some stuff to point out so the party doesn't turn south real fast. First, no alcohol of any sorts and we stick to casual sodas or anything else of suitable beverages."

Then Sully speaks. "We also don't want anything spiked inside of the drinks so we don't end up like some messed up band whose ready to break up."

Mazzy speaks next. "We also wanna know where the party is gonna be so that we can be better prepared. Also, we don't want anything else inappropriate to go down on this thing as well."

Sam is the next to speak. "Keep your bass player away from me. He's been eyeing me since the start of this damned tour, and if he does something to me at the party…"

Lincoln and Luna speak. "We're gonna make sure he never plays the bass, ever again!" They don't know that the bass player hears this and he just shrugs this off and finds their words pointless, and he walks away.

Mick Swagger sighs. "Yeah, I noticed that one too. Don't worry you lot, I got this whole thing planned and my band is not gonna be a total blunder when the party begins tomorrow and I'll have a serious talk with my bass mate to make sure he doesn't do anything. You have my word."

"We're holding you up on that word, Mick Swagger" replied Chunk. They then walk away from the two and get their gear into the musical stadium.

"Well, looks like the party is gonna go well" said Katie Crest. "I'll be sure that the right stuff is in the party and not the adult related stuff for them."

Mick Swagger nods and he goes back to the stadium to talk with his band. 'This Saturday is gonna be a smashin' thing! I can also show Michelle that I'm no creep and that I'm a good guy.'

(Hours later.)

The night is set, and everyone cheers as they see the lights in the place go out, and then they see something that makes them cheer. Luna, and her band on stage and with her son, Lincoln also using a guitar.

Luna then looks to her son. "You ready to rock n' roll with the band kiddo?"

Lincoln nods. "Ready to rock, roll and thwip it like we mean it."

Luna nods and she looks to the band. "Let's rock this joint!" She then speaks to the crowd. "This is a song from my son, and this is for the Marvel Friendly Neighborhood heroic icon of New York City!"

Everyone cheers, and Luna starts with the beat, a beat that is all too familiar, and they perform the theme song called: With Great Power.

Everyone cheers to the song for the legendary Marvel Comics super hero, and film character. Now this sounds like an awesome Spider-Man theme song. Luna and Lincoln, along with Sam performing together like a family.

Katie Crest and Mick Swagger are impressed, but Crest still doesn't like Lincoln. 'Looks like my new plan is now in motion. All I need to do now is get rid of the boy, Michelle and Luna will fall in line when I'm through with her!'

Day 6 to the summer rock tour. A/N: Looks like the band is now gonna be part of the party, but is there tour here in New York done? Not yet, because this is the Big Apple and the tour is just getting started. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
