Things are about to get…. A bit unnerving, and it's gonna become something between Luna Loud, and Mick Swagger, and then comes the ordeal of what Michelle Lewis found out, and that's something they'll be talking to with Katie Crest soon. Enjoy reading this guys!
Family of Two. Chapter 291: Day 10, and Swagger trouble.
(Portsmouth, New Hampshire.)
We now go to the tour that is going to start at the stadium here, called: The Music Hall.
Katie Crest pulled some strings and it worked. She booked the tour into this venue, a robust one located here in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The hall is the hub for culture and impressive performances, by visiting acts.
It welcomes literary artists from around the country and other locations, from music, comedy and other performances. A lot of spectacular shows, and it seems like the Luna-Tics are gonna be part of its history.
Everyone is busy setting up what they need for this concert, and Luna is speaking with Sam about the songs they will perform, and then Delilah goes over and helps direct the songs as well. "Alright, dudes. So we perform three of the songs we have made, and then the rest are the songs from Mick himself."
"Or you could perform all the songs you all have planned." They see Katie Crest walk towards them. "As you should know, the man is not himself still and it's become quite complicated when talking to him."
This concerns them and then Sam asks. "What happened after the concert from last night?"
Katie Crest sighs. "Found him passed out in his hot tub, and so I had to get the roadies to come over and put him back to his bed, then we found out he's ordered way too much pizza and it's making his bus smell horrible."
"He's still down in the dumps with the loss of those three troublesome dorks he calls band mates. I know they mean a lot to him, but he has to wake up and be the rock n' roll legend he is now, because he's going to become a total liability throughout the whole tour."
Luna thinks about this. "Well, I guess we can perform all the songs we have had planned, but the opening act is something my kid cooked up. The song is called, Far From Alive."
Katie Crest nods. "Whatever works, also there might not be any local eateries around her open. They all wish to see the whole concert, and a few are going through some reservations. So, I called in for some catering, and that should suite you're appetites for tonight." She then walks off to speak with one of the roadies.
Luna, Sam and Delilah walk off to the Music Hall. "At least Crest is not being all mean and such, and not demanding. Looks like the rules you guys have made are doing well" said Delilah.
"No kidding." Sam then sees Lincoln with Sully and Mazzy. "This tour is doing well, we might just pull off this whole gig till the end of the month. What do you think, Lunes?"
Luna thinks about this. "That sounds radical dudes. We haven't faced any trouble, so I think we can do this gig until the end of the month, we just gotta talk about this with the others and see what they think."
But they didn't notice that they were walking by the tour bus of Mick Swagger, and the man is currently not looking too good, and what I mean is, that he's drunken a lot of alcohol and is just glaring at Luna and Sam and the rest of the band.
'Look at…. At them! All a good time, with being a band and all that crap.' He then sits down and he drinks his bottle. 'Me? I am the star of this show, and the whole bloody….. Bloody tour! My mates… They're gone, and all because…. Because those kids didn't…. Didn't wanna have fun?!'
'Well, to hell with them….. They're still a band, and I don't g-got mine. This tour was…. This tour was better off w-without them…. Them in it.'
He then grabs another bottle and he drinks from it. 'Time to…. Time to take matters, into my own… Bloody hands…. Make them see, what the reality stuff, can show.'
(Back at the Luna-Tics Bus.)
Michelle is at her quarters that she shares with her daughter, and she goes through the journal of Katie Crest, and she sighs in annoyance at what she has found. 'Ding, dang darn it! There is nothing in here about her plans on getting rid of Lincoln! All I see are, notes and appointments.'
'Well, at least now I know she needs to have a checkup on her allergies on… Shrimp. Well, that explains why she's allergic to shellfish, and why she doesn't eat lobster. Better off she choke on it.'
'Might as well send this thing back, quietly.' She then closes the journal. But then she sees something stick out from the cover of the journal. "What the heck?" She looks at the paper and she sees….. A list.
The list contains contacts of folks who are trained to kill, and a lot of them are the folks who have been coming after Lincoln. "No…. No, this is it. This is…. Wait what?" Michelle sees a list of what to do, on the tour.
Step 1: Have no trouble to Luna and her dumb kid for a week or two, and then see if they'll be part of the tour again. Chances her white-haired runt would've convinced her to go to the tour anyway.
Step 2: Stick to the rules and play it safe. Keep going on the tour with no signs of trouble, and let Mick Swagger no nothing of what I plan to do, especially what I have in store for him.
Step 3: When everything seems calm, clear and they head to another party, spike the drink of Luna Loud, and have her fall into my will and become my personal money making superstar!
Step 4: Make sure she doesn't want anything to do with the band mates, or her son and have them be rejected and removed from the whole tour.
Step 5: Let Doug Rockwell, disguised as a Roadie deal with the band mates, and then rejoin him so that I can have the pleasure of torturing Michelle Lewis, and killing her daughter, and Lincoln right in front of her! And then get rid of Doug Rockwell.
Michelle Lewis's eyes are wide from this. "Holy moly! This is intense, and insane!"
(Later.)
The concert is done, and the band all head back to the bus to celebrate for another successful night on stage and rockin' it out!
"Alright dudes, we should grab something to eat, and then we can relax and calm down before we go to the next location" said Luna. "Where are we going next again, dude?"
Delilah looks through the notes. "We're going to Massachusetts, somewhere in Boston maybe. We can't go to Maine, because a lot of the stadiums and music concerts there are being renovated after a big storm hit the state."
"Dang, well I guess we might rendezvous with the place soon" said Lincoln. He then looks to the night sky. "This has been one heck of a tour, right? Can't believe we're gonna go all the way till the end of the month."
Luna smirks. "Well, we can't keep going on tour through the whole summer. We got the rest of our young lives to deal with, and spending a good summer vacay back home. So, that's the right thing to do, we'll speak of this to crest when we see her soon."
Sully then looks around. "Hey guys, has anyone seen Michelle Lewis? She wasn't at the concert cheering or watching us."
"Oh, right. My mom is back at the bus and she's safe" replied Delilah. "But she did text me to come to the bus after the concert, she says she has something important to…."
"Look at you, lot." They all turn around and see Mick Swagger, by the entrance of his tour bus, with a bottle in hand, and dressed white shorts, purple sweater and sneakers. "Sure must be good, being a band and all that bloody nonsense."
They see that he is a mess, and he smells bad and this makes Mazzy cover her nose. "Dude, what the heck died?"
"My heart and soul, you bloody wanker" said Mick. "And all because of you lot. You know, you're so lucky to have this band to be with ya, huh Luna Loud? While I got none, and it hurts to know that my band mates aren't here to be on tour and have some fun. Something you lot haven't been doing."
"I know that my band mates, my friends are a troublesome group that can't be trusted when alone and all that…. But they were my band mates, and my pals, and that makes them family… While you got these kids to come along…. Wait, you are also kids. Teenagers." Mick then drinks his bottle.
Lincoln is now fearful by this man and his words and he goes behind Sam. Luna notices this and is angered by the words of her former idol. "Dude, back off! Leave my son out of this."
Mick Swagger scoffs. "Oh wow. Look at you, wanker. You're Luna Loud, the big star from Royal Woods with your little new songs, and you're new life being a mum and all that bullshit. Well, fuck off to you!"
They didn't expect Mick Swagger to use such words, especially towards Luna Loud, the teen talent he met and befriended and showed that family as important, and about having fun when it comes to musical performances.
Luna feels like beating him up, but she doesn't and calms down and she stops the others from interfering. "Come on dudes, he's not worth it." Luna then holds Lincoln's hand and they all walk back to the tour bus.
But Mick Swagger wasn't gonna have this. "Oh, to hell with all of you! Don't you bloody ignore me!" He throws his bottle, but it misses and nearly hits Lincoln.
Luna turns around and sees the man and he pulls out his belt. "You don't deserve to have a band not after what happened to mine!" He charges at her, but then Chunk tackles Mick Swagger, but the rockstar legend kicks Chunk off of him, and then he swings his belt around.
Delilah goes over and helps Chunk. The belt nearly hits Mazzy, but Sully pulls her away. Then the belt strikes down Lincoln to his cheek, and he goes down and groans from the pain. Sam goes over to check on him. Katie Crest and the roadies see this and they go over to stop the man.
Luna sees this and her eyes are burning with rage. Mick is about to strike her with the belt, but she grabs the belt, and even though it stings, that doesn't matter. Luna casts one deadly shotgun glare to Mick Swagger. "You dare hurt my son!"
Luna pulls the belt back and then she knees Mick in the gut, then she grabs him by his hair and slams him to the side of his own bus and then she tosses him to the road and she grabs the belt and whacks the man to his back.
Luna then grabs Mick by his right leg, and though he tries to kick her away, she grabs the other leg and she kicks him in the nuts and this makes Mick scream a high pitch note that breaks the windows of the buildings nearby.
Luna then grabs Mick by his shirt and she punches him three times to his face, and the man is groaning from the pain. "Don't ever hurt my kid, you pathetic excuse of a dumbass rockstar!" She then winds up and delivers one big punch and Mick Swagger is out cold.
Luna then takes a moment to calm down, and she aces over to her son, and she sees he has a red mark on his cheek and he sheds some tears from the pain. "It's gonna be okay kiddo. We'll have that healed up."
Luna carries her son to the tour bus, and the rest follow her. Katie Crest didn't like this, she then looks to Mick Swagger. "Get this piece of trash back into this bus, and lock the door. We'll deal with him when the morning comes."
The roadies go over and pick up the unconscious rockstar legend and back to his bus. Katie Crest didn't like this at all. 'Damn it! Because of Mick Swagger, the tour is now over! That band is gonna leave because of this, and I haven't even gotten control of Luna Loud!'
(Luna-Tics Tour Bus.)
Luna and Sam tend to the injury Lincoln got. "I know it stings bud, but this is to help you" said Sam. They then patch his red bruise with a bandage, and then Luna and Sam hug the boy, and he hugs them back.
Chunk, Sully, Mazzy and Delilah know where this is going. "Well, looks like we'll be going home when tomorrow comes" said Chunk. "We should pack up and…."
"Not yet." They all turn around, Lincoln and Sam depart from the hug with Luna and they see Michelle with a journal. "Guys, we need to talk about this." Luna hands them the list from the journal.
Luna and the others see the numbers and names of the folks who have been trying to kill Lincoln, and this angers Luna. Then she looks to the journal and sees the name: Katie Crest. Now, this got personal, and they found the mastermind behind the attacks.
Day 10 to the summer rock tour. A/N: Recall the Future Aftermath to this story in "Luck, Nightmares and Fears?" Well, this adds things up as to why Luna Loud didn't want anything to do with Mick Swagger anymore, and it seems like the tour might end early, with what Michelle had finally found.
