Chapter 298: Chilling with the rich and nice.

(July 1, Ketcham Park.)

The whole summer here is feeling like a nice and peaceful time, and right now we see Hope Pertland, and Gretchen Warwick and they're hanging out with Delilah Lewis Loud and Jordan Rosato. "So, your parents will come here soon?" asked Jordan.

Gretchen nods. "They wanna spend some summer vacation with us too, and they do plan to talk to the biggest company in Royal Woods, The Rose Shipping Company."

This confuses Jordan. "Wait a second, the same shipping company my dad runs? Why?"

Hope is about to say something, but then she stops. "Huh, I don't know why. They never told us the reason, but chances we'll know soon. For now, let's enjoy this time together and get to know each other."

Delilah looks through her phone. "Are you girls sure that this is not your doing with posting some stuff about yourselves through social media?"

"No, we didn't" replied Gretchen, she then eats a sandwich. "We came to this town and didn't even post anything, but the photo looks like the time we were shopping somewhere, so someone must've overheard our conversation to talk to you."

Hope also looks through the same social media news. "We're already being talked about, and the folks from our hometown are also making comments and are glad we're here and making a brand new life together, as the best of friends."

This makes them smile to hear, but Delilah feels like something else is up between the two. 'These two have been friends… Best friends, since kindergarten and have become inseparable, reminds me of Jordan and Lincoln… Does this mean, they have a small hidden crush on each other?'

Then Jordan asks. "So, you think we can come by and visit you're mansion? The same goes with my friends too. I mean, you two share the mansion somewhere in Rose Street right?"

Hope thinks about this. "That does sound like a wicked awesome idea. We can have an awesome sleepover with your friends when it's Friday night, we can all have fun and be gal pals." She then looks towards Delilah. "You're invited too, Delilah."

Delilah smiles hearing this. "Now that does sound like an awesome idea, I think I can work with that. My mom would be okay with it too." They spot Michelle Lewis, speaking with Leni and Kurt Logann.

Luan is playing with the twins, but Lola stares at Kurt Logann with hearts in her eyes, and the Frisbee hits her in the head and this makes Luan chuckle. "Lola, don't go lost in trance when we're playing." Lana goes over and she helps her twin.

Jordan, Delilah, Hope and Gretchen notice this. "Girls, do you think Lola is starting to have a crush on Kurt Logann?" asked Jordan.

"Sure looks like it" replied Hope. "She has that daze of romance in her eyes, but this is a crush and maybe it'll pass away soon."

Delilah nods. "I hope so, because if she doesn't get over this crush, then this might be an issue. The guy is interested in Leni, and those two aren't official yet, but they might be. I mean, Leni is a year younger than him, and he's gonna go to college soon."

Gretchen then goes back to eating a sandwich. "Lola is one odd twin, but I do plan to spend some time with her too. Because, I have some tickets to a runway modeling show that she would wanna go to."

The girls continue to talk to each other, and even share some stories of what they have all been doing, and while this happens, Lincoln and Luna are both underneath the shade of a tree and watching the others have fun and play around.

Lincoln is leaning onto his mother's right side, but he tries not too hard since her shoulder is still sore, and her left arm still has her cast. Luna then looks to Lincoln and she pulls him close to her. "Linc, I know everything in your head is not feeling quite right, am I right?"

Lincoln doesn't feel like talking, he then closes his eyes and he wipes away his tears. Luna knows what this is about, ever since Leslie Silver and her posse came and tried to kill her along with Michelle and Delilah.

Luna then let's Lincoln sit between her legs, and she embraces him with her right arm. "Oh, Linc. It's all gonna be okay, that disaster is over and everything's gonna be alright now. There's no need to be…"

Lincoln hugs her and begins to sob. "I don't wanna lose you mom. I don't. We went through so much trouble and you almost paid the price twice, I don't want anything else to go wrong and for us to be happy and left in peace. Why is it so hard?"

Luna feels like crying too, to see her son upset because of this and she kisses his forehead. "Life is not easy, kiddo. We gotta face hard times, and those hard times will do some pretty dark stuff that would challenge us. We just have to be strong, and try to adapt to the whole thing."

"Old enemies will come for us, and do something far worse than what we fear, but we can manage to fend them off, stay strong and show them that we're not to be meddled with. We can fight, we can be brave and we can make the win in the end. We're strong in our own way, always."

Lincoln just cries a little bit onto her chest, and stays clinging to her, Luna can tell that he's still troubled and she recalls when Lincoln went full berserk and beat the living crud out of the rich girls who tried to harm her. She fears of seeing that side of Lincoln again, it was like seeing a feral animal going ballistic.

Luna adjusts her position and she makes sure her cast is fine, she then looks to her cast and she recalls what happened with that one. "A lot of bad motives came to us, and we managed to fight it kiddo. We're not gonna lose each other, and that is a promise I am not gonna break, I love you kiddo."

Lincoln then looks to his mom and kisses her cheek. "I love you too, mom. Always." They both stay in this embrace and continue this moment, between the two.

They don't notice Leni is looking towards them and sighs. 'Lincoln… Luna. If something does happen again, then you're not gonna fight alone. We'll be with you, and we'll fight it all together, because we're still family, always.'

(Great Lakes City Prison.)

At this time, an explosion is heard and someone breaks out and smiles. "Yes, freedom at last. Time for me to get the revenge that will make me feel like more than just one simple and boring report!" The man is Jim Sparkletooth and he adjusts his hair and makes a run for it.

Other inmates run, for this whole escape was made by one inmate, and he successfully made it possible, and with the use of a soap bomb. Jim then dodges as he evades the spotlights tracking the inmates, he then sees the guards coming after them.

"Gotta ditch these guys, and I know how." He then knocks over the nearby dumpster and this makes lots of trash spill and the other inmates slip and crash onto it. Jim then scales the fence and he makes it to the other side.

"Yes, nailed it!" He then hides behind the wall of another building and he sees the other inmates getting arrested, and the K-9 unit tackles some of them and they all tell to be released. 'This is going pretty well.'

Jim Sparkletooth then dives into the watery canal and he swims within the water and he evades the spotlight tracking down for anyone who slipped away.

Jim reaches the other side and then the man smiles as he's no longer bound to be in jail. "Now, for me to make some payback. But where should I begin?" Jim Sparkletooth then goes down an alley and he grabs some clothes nearby that were left and he puts them on and dumps his prison attire.

Jim then raises the hoodie and he walks around the city and goes through what he has planned. 'Alright, so I need to setup something to truly make a mark and show that I mean revenge, I need some tech and cameras and internet to make this work.'

Then he sees some two familiar kids. Ronnie Anne Santiago and Sid Chang, and they skateboard pass the man and then do some trick and flips, and the rest of their skateboarding friends follow them.

Jim Sparkletooth smirks at this. 'Hmm, looks like I have me my plan made. But which one of them, before I go after the Louds?'

A/N: Jordan has now made some good friends within Hope and Gretchen and chances they're gonna make a name for this small group, but they still have the other friends they know around town. Trouble is coming, so they need to be careful. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
